Another poll showing if Americans had a do-over that Trump would still be President
I heard a statement/explanation from a long time Trump hater who voted for Joe Biden in 2020 and could have never believed there would come a time when he regretted that vote. While he is still wishy washy about who he would vote for if he had a do-over, he does feel differently now that he has seen slow Joe in action. He is no longer certain that he made the right choice.
His statement mirrored what I have seen in many places (including foreign leaders who have made similar statements). Trump had his flaws and was a difficult man in many ways, but ultimately he seemed to competent and a force to be reckoned with. Joe Biden is neither.
At the end of the day, many people sort of can accept that whatever Trump's flaw were, he could ultimately work to get better. The problem with Biden and his cognitive decline is that he has no means to get better. He cannot suddenly become smarter, more competent, or any more of a force to be reckoned with. He will continue to fall asleep, speak incoherently, lie blatantly, and not seem to know which end is up half the time.
But how does that work when your own leader is literally less popular than the leader you wish to associate the other Party with. What does it say when poll after poll quite literally suggests that the US electorate would like a do over on the 2020 race.
Is that really the best that the Democrats have to offer? An attack of someone not in office?
