So far the prosecution has shown a video that they said showed that Rittenhouse was chasing Rosenbaum (one of the rioters shot) - but the video really didn't show that. It only showed that Rittenhouse was at one time walking towards Rosenbaum - but it appeared that Rosenbaum was quite literally hiding in ambush and started to chase Rittenhouse once they got in close proximity.
They also brought in a witness who they tried to get to testify that Rittenhouse shot Rosenbaum while Rosenbaum was falling down - but the witness stated that he was shot while lunging. Oddly, the prosecution ended up asking that same question multiple times in multiple ways only to have the witness (their witness) repeat that Rosenbaum was lunging at Rittenhouse (not falling). That same witness was attacked by prosecution for suggesting Rosenbaum was being threatening, saying he couldn't possibly know what Rosenbaum was thinking. The answer was “Well, he said ‘fuck you’ and then he reached for the weapon.”
Another state witness also testified yesterday named Ryan Belch. He was with Rittenhouse most of the night and also appeared to be a defense friendly witness. According to Andrew Branca (defense attorney covering this for Legal Insurrection) the prosecution's own witness implied that Rosenbaum was a "violent lunatic" further undermining the defense case. He also testified that Rosenbaum came right up to him and Rittenhouse, “got right in my face,” yelling and screaming, and murderously pledged “if I catch any of you guys alone tonight, I’m going to f’ing kill you!”
Not good.
In order for the defense to show self defense they have to show four elements (according to Branca). Those elements are innocence, imminence, proportionality, and reasonableness. The defendant cannot be the aggressor, the threat has to be imminent, the response has to be both proportional and reasonable.
The prosecution has to only poke a hole in one of those elements. They are trying (quite poorly) to show that Rittenhouse was the aggressor. They are trying (quite poorly) to show that Rittenhouse was not in imminent danger. Ultimately they want to convince the jury that Rittenhouse was reckless and unreasonable in shooting Rosenbaum and the others. At this point, it doesn't appear that they have achieved that result.
Short of some sort of jury nullification type of result, it would be hard to see Rittenhouse found guilty in any unanimous decision.

REPORT: FBI Lost HD Rittenhouse Video, Never Told The Defense It Existed
Unseen footage taken by the FBI from the night of the shootings in Kenosha, Wisconsin, surfaced on Tuesday during day one of Kyle Rittenhouse’s trial. According to Jack Posobiec of Human Events, the FBI allegedly had an HD version of the video but never told the Rittenhouse defense it existed.
In footage obtained by Human Events, the FBI appears to have taken aerial footage of Rittenhouse and the other participants involved in the shooting. Some of the footage, which is black-and-white and grainy, was shot from an FBI surveillance drone.

The FBI footage was shown to the jury during the testimony of one of the agents who captured the footage with the drone, FBI agent Brandon Craimin. However, the FBI allegedly testified, in private, that they were in possession of another version of the video in HD that they did not supply the members of the defense, according to Human Events. When asked for a copy of the tape, the FBI allegedly denied the defense’s request, saying that the video no longer existed, according to the report.
After prosecutors questioned Craimin about the aerial footage, the defense cross-examined the witness and asked for the tail number of the FBI plane. However, prosecutors objected. Judge Bruce Schroeder then asked to sidebar the issue and discuss the aerial footage, and jurors left the courtroom.
The lead lawyer representing Rittenhouse, Mark Richards, then said he believed that there was other video footage, captured by the FBI, that was no longer available. Richards reportedly said it is “preposterous” that the FBI allegedly lost the footage.

If Rittenhouse is found not-guilty he could probably sue you for smearing his name by calling him a murderer.
The reality here Roger... is that ultimately it will be up to the jury to determine if Rittenhouse is or is not a murderer. It's not up to you.
Obviously Derek Chauvin is now a convicted murderer and no opinions about the conduct of the trial changes that.
But of course Roger, we know what this is about.
Rosenbaum had a restraining order against him from his ex-significant other. So the two of you share that bond, huh? And he was setting fires to local property (which apparently you support) and he threatened to kill Rittenhouse (and you love to threaten with your self proclaimed booming voice).
So you feel in cahoots with a women beating death threatening thug who likes to burn down building. Which is why you feel sorry for him because he wasn't able to kill Rittenhouse as he had intented.
Let's look at who he killed and hurt.
The first was a mentally ill man who'd been dumped in the area after release from the hospital. He threw a bag with a toothbrush and comb in it at the killer.
The second man was there to film what he considered an historic event. He traveled by skateboard. After watching the first killing he chased Rittenhouse and attacked him with the skateboard to stop more shootings. He was killed by Rittenhouse.
The third man was armed and had a concealed carry permit. He's a former paramedic who attended protests to help those who got hurt. Carried a medical kit and water and drove a truck with a large red cross on it. He's a good guy with a gun who's now missing part of his arm.
They were not rioting or looting anything. The only reason Rittenhouse was chased and attacked it because he shot someone. Not the other way around.
