Liberals scream, stomp their feet, and hold their breath till they turn blue because they don't believe anyone should question Biden's election win....

But how many have ever apologized for pushing a now completely debunked "Russian collusion" hoax about Donald Trump and the 2016 election?

Meanwhile, courts in Wisconsin, Pennsylvania, Georgia and other places have ruled post-election that many of the policies enacted unilaterally by Governors were illegal and unconstitutional according to state laws and state constitution.

The Maricopa Arizona audit (lied about in the liberal MSM) found tens of thousands of legally questionable ballots including several thousand cast by people who were not even living in the county or state at the time.

Liberals are screaming over new laws that actually require counties to give a count of the overall vote (something that should be easy to do) because it will no longer allow them to "find ballots" at midnight, as Fulton and Gwinnett did in Georgia (just enough ballots, btw, to swing both the Presidential election and force a Senate runoff). If not for the tens of thousands of "found" ballots the Republicans would still hold the Senate. They scream about the idea of "oversight" and the possibility that slow counting counties might get help from other poll workers (who would not be partisan Democrats).

Meanwhile, the Durham investigation has forced even the Washington Post to go back and start to fact correct stories about Russian collusion. We now know that the FBI was fed fake information (that was pretty much known to be fake) by the Hillary campaign, as a means to undermine Donald Trump's election chances, his victory, and eventually his Presidency.

How many liberals angrily pushed those blatant conspiracy theories? How many cheered on a special counsel that went two years into the Trump Presidency. How many crazies demanded that Trump was illegitimate based on what we now know was flat out lies pushed by the Hillary campaign and sucked up and treated as real by the FBI and special counsel.

How many lives were ruined by creepy "misleading the FBI" charges. Think about what was done to General Flynn and his children, because Special Counsel demanded that he was holding out on some conspiracy that there was never any evidence to support.

Lastly... how many of these people have apologized for being so angry and being so wrong? Have you heard Adam Schiff apologize for the "in plain sight' argument? How about Rachel Maddow for pushing the big lie five days a week for months on end? How about liberals you just know who demanded that Trump was conspiring with the Russians? Have any of them apologized for being wrong and making such unreasonable and horrible attacks based on them being wrong?

Bottom line folks: Contrary to the same people who lied about Russian collusion telling the same gullible people that there is no evidence of 2020 election problems, the reality is the court case wins over these Governors and Secretary of States changing election laws, the amount of evidence of questionable ballots counted all over the country, and the flat out problems with the math have not gone away or been debunked.

There is only one "big lie" and it was Russian collusion and the false allegations that 2016 was not a legitimate election.

That was so crooked they never looked into the source of the fake dossier. Mueller didn't even know who Steele was (never heard of him). His attack dogs looked under every possible stone. And found nothing.

Well they did get Stone for "lying" (not remembering exact details of a long past phone call that was irrelevant) and some other peripheral "crimes".

And somehow managed to accidentally wipe all their phones so their internal text messages couldn't be retrieved. From every "investigator"

A coup attempt that failed.

Because trump was squeaky clean

But the hoaxes kept coming

They are now the foundation of the FAKE NEWS media, the DOJ/FBI, big tech and the democrat party

Hopefully America survives and cleans house.

Look out Israel and Taiwan, the Deep state is coming to get you!

Messrs. James Clapper (DNI), James Comey (FBI), and John Brennan (CIA), take a bow here.

The American deep state, that tenured trough of civil servants and affiliated national security camp followers, is hard-wired to liberal ideology, too, if not de-facto socialism.  The federal octopus, and all its tentacles, is now well left of the American center and will probably do anything to preserve that ideological chasm.

Unfortunately, tainted domestic politics and elections are mere down payments on blowback. The real cost of deep state bullying is assessed in foreign policy and national security coin.

Anti-Trump scheming and mendacity since 2016 has so completely absorbed Russophobic haters that the Chinese and Islamic threats have metastasized in a global defense vacuum. Totalitarian opportunists smell blood, weak American sisters in troubled foreign policy waters. Appeasing Beijing, Mecca, and Moscow is now the default setting for European and American elites. The bully boys of Beijing and the hit men of Islam have run a timid Uncle Sam, (and Europhiles), off the international high ground.

Chinese and Islamic totalitarian imperialism is on the move, and winning. U.S. national security mandarins still fake a cold war in Europe, hype vintage Moscow conspiracies, while obsessing about Trump. Withal, the fall of Hong Kong and Kabul are mere harbingers of worse to come from the dragon and the scimitar.

Taiwan and Israel; you’re next.

The broken link in the global security chain now sits in the White House torn by mandates, correctness, fake intelligence, and clueless apathy.

In the age of sexual ambiguity, Uncle Sam seems to have exchanged his global cutaway and muscular elan for knickers and a frock. Fair enough, given today’s fey American cultural memes.
Alas, for the next few years, Joseph Robinette Biden will probably sputter in place blaming Donald Trump - wondering when “Brandon” gets to Pennsylvania Avenue.

Changing the NatSec establishment is a trickier proposition. If we learn anything from the Afghan debacle, is how fast public sentiment changes with a poorly executed, humiliating withdrawal.

They may want to get out of Afghanistan but not like that. And no one (including Trump) explain to the public that an honorable withdrawal required a degree of trust in the Taliban.

A trust they never earned.

But I also agree with Ron Paul....

In an age of TV politicians, President Joe Biden is a figure from another age. He is deeply unexciting and suffering from advanced age – a time in life which the great Charles de Gaulle compared to a “shipwreck.”

No mobs of baseball hat-wearing yahoos are about to storm the Capitol for Biden’s sake. However unexciting he may be, President Biden has acted with courage and foresight to enact what America so badly needed: moving away from a wartime to a peacetime economy.

America’s economy has been on a full wartime footing since the Vietnam War. The US Navy alone operates 11 big deck attack carriers, and twice that number of small carriers. A French admiral told me ruefully over a very nice dinner one night that the US Navy’s budget alone was larger than his nation’s entire military budget. US annual military spending amounts to nearly half the world’s total military outlays.

When invited to the Pentagon to consult on the Mideast and Afghanistan, I have always been amazed by the beehive of activity there. America’s vast military-industrial complex was in overdrive. It looked to me like America’s number one activity was war. Not big ones, like WWII, Korea or Vietnam but many small conflicts all over the globe – what British imperialists used to call “little wars.”

As many Americans have noticed, their huge nation has been falling apart. US infrastructure has been rusting or crumbling since the early 1960’s. Bridges, railroads, telecommunications, airports, seaports, and highways have not been adequately renovated or restored. For example, key bridge tunnels in my native city, New York, have become perilous due to lack of maintenance and modernization. Politicians love to spend billions on glamor projects but hate spending on basics.

No president since Eisenhower has dared to seriously rebuild or repair the United States. Compared to effectively modernizing Europe, the US often looks thirty years behind and depressingly backwards.

The country that supported a million man invasion forced in Normandy using Mulberry Harbors now can't figure how to get 100 container ships in and out of the port of Los Angeles.

Coldheartedtruth Teller said...

Unfortunately, Biden’s renewal plans, which will cost upwards of 2.5 trillion dollars are to be financed by higher taxes. The imminence of such increases and printing of billions of newly minted dollars has of course ignited a storm of inflation, now running at over 6.2% in the US alone. Meanwhile, the Pentagon continues to spend trillions of dollars preparing for more small wars and gearing up for a big-time conflict with China.

It would have made better sense to raise the hundreds of billions needed to finance the anti-Covid campaign and Biden’s national renovation campaign by extracting the money from the terribly bloated military budget. That would have been the other act of courage needed by the Biden White House. But Biden has not so far been able to even shut the totalitarian Guantanamo prison due to opposition from southern Republicans and, of course, the military.

Biden and his team realize that the coming head-on competition with China will require a modernized United States. Otherwise, it might look more like an updated version of the creaky old Austro-Hungarian Empire than the champion of the western world.

While the US has been wasting trillions on its little colonial wars (“war on terror”), China has been investing in infrastructure and a brand-new military. Having now been defeated in Vietnam and Afghanistan, the US military risks a much bigger shellacking by China.

The balance of military technology is fast turning against the United States as a major Pacific War looms on the horizon. In that event, the US will be at a serious geostrategic disadvantage by being forced to fight a war thousands of miles from its home bases on the US West Coast while China’s military will operate virtually next door to its home.

This is a war that the US should at all costs avoid. No one can even adequately explain what winning a war with China entails. How do you defeat a colossus on the other side of the world’s largest ocean? Better fix US infrastructure and avoid a fight. As US founder Ben Franklin said, “no good war; no bad peace.”

If Ron Paul was actually serious about funding anything, he might not demand that the military budget is "bloated" when Entitlements (not constitutionally tied to Federal spending) account for over four times as much spending.

The Cold War consisted of a lot of small conflicts that were proxies between the US and the Soviet Union.

I suspect the US will settle into a similar Cold War footing. China is making a lot of bold moves about invading Taiwan I just wonder if they crazy enough risk a nuclear confrontation over it.

Right now the tactical situation in the South China Sea looks particularly grim for the US. Their blue water navy is particularly vulnerable to air and missiles attacks.

Sources previously told The Hill that Trump had met with Pence in the days before the insurrection to speak about the potential of rejecting the slate of electors from certain states, something Pence ultimately determined he did not have the authority to do. Trump did not reach out to Pence during the insurrection itself, and the two men did not speak for days after the insurrection, sources said.

“There was obvious frustration just over the last couple weeks of the administration about his treatment toward Pence because I think everyone would say that Pence had been the most loyal person to Trump, above everyone else,” said one former Trump White House official who said the president’s tweet attacking Pence amid the Jan. 6 violence helped spur some in the administration to resign.

Pence, in his public comments since the insurrection, has walked a careful line to distance himself from the day’s events without outright criticizing his former boss.

"You know, President Trump and I have spoken many times since we left office. And I don't know if we'll ever see eye to eye on that day,” he said in June, a line he has repeated multiple times since.

In a Fox News interview last month, Pence went as far as to blame the media for using the events of Jan. 6 to gloss over difficulties the Biden administration has had on the economy and foreign policy. That statement earned praise from Trump.

The split between the two men over Jan. 6 has been one of the most notable features of their relationship, which was otherwise defined by Pence’s unflinching loyalty.

And it could be a major factor in the 2024 race, should either or both of them decide to seek the White House.

The right wing terrorists would threaten Pence and shouting Hang Mike Pence.
