Scientists are trying to figure out whether the Omicron variant is more deadly, more infectious, or makes vaccines and treatments less effective. Experts are concerned over the high number of mutations that the variant has, which makes these scenarios more likely and thus make the variant more dangerous.
Scientists didn't need to figure anything out, they just needed to come here and listen to our liberal stooges argue that nobody would die from Omicron because it was always a milder version of the virus. But alas, our scientific community decided not to listen to genius level IQ of our faithful liberal followers. Good thing, too.... because they would have been shocked by this.
Frankly any virus that is this widespread has a chance to kill people who are especially vulnerable to things. Part of the issue with mitigation attempts is that it does shelter our most vulnerable, but eventually they have to come back out into the real world where the same danger lurks.
Everyone is hoping that the death count is smaller with Omicron as it was with the first few strains. But I think we should all take pause in terms of listening to the initial claims that Omicron wasn't something to be concerned about because of how mild it is. There seems to be more spin than substance with much of what we hear about Covid-19. It's part of the problem that so many Americans have with our medical response.

I continue to hope that the number of deaths will be very few. But whether few or many, the fact is that for the most part, although the virus spreads rapidly to everyone, for the most part it does not affect people as severely as other strands.
Whether that remains true is uncertain. But thus far the thing that DOES seem certain is, as our science-following President advises, that getting vaccinated and getting the booster is the best chance people infected by any of the virus strains have of surviving with less severe sickness and with less deaths.
It simply remins true: In our own country, those people living in counties that voted heavily for Trump (and who therefore distrust and dismiss what the actual scientists say) have nearly three times the rate of death that people living in counties that voted predominantly for Biden.
Ch also lies when he claims we were told that Omicron was somthing to be less concenred about. Fauci and others were very cautious in stating that although the virus appeared mild up to a point in time, that could change.
Still, so far Omicron has continued for the most part to appear to be a comparatively mild form of the virus.

The 538 website had Trump winning those two states and most of the night they had Trump running well ahead of numbers in Wisconsin as well. For a while, we were getting the post-mortem discussions as to what went wrong for Biden. The NYT Upshot was showing similar numbers in those three states and showed Michigan and Arizona incredibly close.
Then for the first and last time... all of these projections were off by fairly significant amounts.
The funny thing is how incurious these people were. Silver, Cohn, the whole liberal projection community never explained why they ended up so wrong on these states earlier in the night, other than to follow the company line that Biden just got these extraordinary overnight counting results due to enormous popularity with whatever...
But Cohn was back to knowing Youngkin would win by 2-3 points about an hour after the polls closed... and by the time Virginia had counted about a third of their ballots he was pretty much 100% sure Youngkin would win. I can’t think of a more encouraging development than the national movement of parents pushing back against woke education. Nothing can beat parents organized to halt the erosion of core American ideals like freedom of expression or equality before the law. Thankfully, a record of early successes is rapidly building a larger movement to take back our schools.

Yet a crusade on the rise always risks overreach. Lately, some parents and public officials fighting woke education have considered pulling books from the shelves of public-school libraries. That isn’t always inappropriate, even for strong defenders of free speech. Libraries serving K-12 students legitimately take criteria like age-appropriateness and community standards into account when it comes to explicit sexual material. Because those lines are notoriously difficult to draw, battles over sexually explicit school library books are sure to play out for years.
Bracketing the issue of age-appropriateness and explicit sexual content, however, I want to suggest that the best way to deal with woke school library books is not to ban them, but to balance them. If Ibram X. Kendi’s How to Be an Antiracist is on your school-library shelf, don’t ban it. Have your library buy a copy of John McWhorter’s Woke Racism: How a New Religion Has Betrayed Black America, instead. If your school library has a copy of Michelle Alexander’s The New Jim Crow: Mass Incarceration in the Age of Colorblindness, have it order a copy of Heather MacDonald’s The War on Cops: How the New Attack on Law and Order Makes Everyone Less Safe. And so on.
It’s true that a public K-12 school is not a public university. Public universities stock their libraries with books representing multiple points of view. They also grant professors freedom to conduct classes in their areas of expertise as they see fit. All this is on the theory that college students are old enough to choose their schools, their courses, and then decide for themselves the truth or falsity of the various perspectives they encounter. Public K-12 is different. Students are essentially a captive audience, and are young enough to be swayed by teachers who indoctrinate.

The congressional committee investigating the Jan. 6 riot advanced a measure Monday referring former White House chief of staff Mark Meadows to the Justice Department for contempt of Congress over his refusal to answer questions about the attack on the Capitol.
The bipartisan panel voted 9-0 to send the measure to the full House. The House is expected to vote as soon as Tuesday on whether to ask the Justice Department to prosecute Meadows, who served as a House lawmaker before joining the Trump administration.
Committee members on Monday evening read aloud text messages they said Meadows received on and around Jan. 6 from lawmakers, without naming any members of Congress. One of those texts read: "On January 6, 2021, Vice President Mike Pence, as President of the Senate, should call out all electoral votes that he believes are unconstitutional as no electoral votes at all."
Another text, which the committee said Donald Trump Jr. sent to Meadows on Jan. 6 during the attack, read: "It has gone too far and gotten out of hand."
Meadows previously engaged with the investigative panel by turning over documents that committee vice chair Rep. Liz Cheney, R-Wyo., characterized as "interesting and important." The Jan. 6 committee had planned on asking Meadows about the documents during a scheduled Dec. 8 deposition, but his lawyer told lawmakers the night beforehand that Meadows was refusing to participate.

Meadows "later sent the former vice president’s staff a memo drafted by a Trump campaign lawyer urging the vice president to delay or decline the counting of votes from certain states," the report said.
The report also referenced an email Meadows allegedly sent on Jan. 5 saying National Guard troops would keep Trump’s supporters safe the following day.
“Mr. Meadows sent an email to an individual about the events on January 6 and said that the National Guard would be present to 'protect pro Trump people' and that many more would be available on standby,” the bipartisan committee report said. The recipient of the email was not identified.

In addition to being subjected to various forms of censorship, for the first time in living memory American doctors are getting threat letters from licensure boards warning them against distributing "harmful misinformation." Medical boards in 12 states have disciplined doctors because of this allegation. While it is claimed that there's an epidemic of misinformation during the COVID-19 pandemic, the warnings don't spell out what that means.
We don't have an epidemic of patients dying because doctors told them to refuse treatment or to drink Clorox or aquarium cleaner.

In fact, no patients need to have suffered any harm at all for the medical board to investigate a doctor's no-longer-free speech. All it takes is an anonymous complaint.
Pharmacists that were converted into the overseers of physicians' prescribing practices will complain that a doctor had prescribed ivermectin for COVID-19.

In “normal” times, the practice of medicine has many challenges, some from within and some from outside the profession. If you let it, much of your daily practice follows specialty guidelines, insurance company criteria, hospital formularies, and other annoyances. None of those entities have any liability when it comes to our patients. For the most part, liability lies with the treating physician.
Each specialty plays a particular role in a patient’s care and specialists often view issues from different angles while wearing their tunnel-vision glasses. For instance, some physicians view elevated cholesterol as an indicator to assess other potential underlying medical issues, while a cardiologist will just write a prescription for a statin drug, just as a cat reflexively chases a mouse.
What changed overnight and across the board, was an anti-science attitude across all specialties to everything related to COVID. A viral infection is not something requiring government management, rather, its encounter is part of a physician’s daily medical practice. The government has seemingly accomplished what medical insurers, medical boards, and hospitals tried, but had not yet succeeded at: complete mind control of physicians. And with that, the last vestige of respect I had for my profession died.
I’m often in attendance at medical meetings where the fine points of immunotherapy and monoclonal antibodies are discussed as part of the treatment for cancer patients. For physicians, it is their version of science in regard to a drug’s indications, mechanisms of action, dosing, management of side effects, and the studies justifying one drug or combination over another, the latter often supported by questionable statistical analysis.
After the science-lite discussion ends, the personal chitchat begins regarding COVID and vaccines, and the point is reached where any remaining rationality becomes akin to that heard among nursery school attendees.

CAPE TOWN, South Africa — Omicron appears to cause less severe illness than earlier variants of the coronavirus but is more resistant to the two-dose Pfizer-BioNTech vaccine widely used in South Africa, according to the first major private study since omicron was first detected last month.
The study by Discovery Health, South Africa’s largest health insurer, of 211,000 positive coronavirus cases showed that risk of hospital admissions among adults who contracted covid-19 was 29 percent lower than in the initial pandemic wave that emerged in March 2020.
However, the study found that the Pfizer-BioNTech vaccine provided just 33 percent protection against infection, much less than the level for other variants detected in the country so far. At the same time, the vaccine provided 70 percent protection against severe complications that would require a patient to be hospitalized, the study found, calling that “very good protection.”

NEW YORK (Reuters) - Pfizer Inc on Tuesday said final analysis of its antiviral COVID-19 pill still showed near 90% efficacy in preventing hospitalizations and deaths in high-risk patients, and recent lab data suggests the drug retains its effectiveness against the fast spreading Omicron variant of the coronavirus.
The U.S. drugmaker last month said the oral medicine was around 89% effective in preventing hospitalizations or deaths when compared to placebo based on interim results in around 1,200 people. The data disclosed on Tuesday includes an additional 1,000 people.
Nobody in the trial who received the Pfizer treatment died, compared with 12 deaths among placebo recipients.
The Pfizer pills are taken with the older antiviral ritonavir every 12 hours for five days beginning shortly after onset of symptoms. If authorized, the treatment will be sold as Paxlovid.

As the omicron variant threatens to wipe out a mainstay of coronavirus treatment, Pfizer announced Tuesday that in a final analysis, its experimental antiviral pill sharply reduced hospitalizations and deaths among people at high risk of severe illness because of age or underlying medical conditions.
Reinforcing an earlier analysis from November, Pfizer’s drug cut hospitalizations and deaths by nearly 90 percent when taken within three or five days of the onset of symptoms, the company announced. Preliminary laboratory studies suggest the easy-to-take drug will hold up against the omicron variant.
Two antiviral pills, Pfizer’s and one from Merck, are under consideration by regulators — and additional safe and effective treatment options can’t arrive soon enough.
The omicron variant that is rapidly taking over in South Africa and countries in Europe will probably evade — or at least severely diminish — many forms of the main tool physicians have, known as monoclonal antibodies, according to recent laboratory studies.
“We’re working with urgency to really make sure we can have this treatment available,” said Annaliesa Anderson, Pfizer’s chief scientific officer of bacterial vaccines
Authorization of both pills is expected by the end of the year, according to a person familiar with the situation who spoke on the condition of anonymity because they were not authorized to speak publicly.
In an early analysis, a second ongoing study that was designed to test whether the pill, called Paxlovid, relieved covid-19 symptoms faster in people who are not considered high risk found no benefit for symptom relief. But the pill regimen did cause the amount of virus in patients’ bodies to plummet and reduced the already low risk of hospitalization and death, though the result was at the edge of statistical significance, a sign that it could be due to chance.
The study of lower-risk people included those who were vaccinated and had at least one risk factor for severe covid.
Oral antiviral treatments are badly needed amid a surge of the delta variant and the still unknown threat of omicron.
Mounting evidence has suggested that monoclonal antibodies, laboratory-brewed molecules that block the virus by recognizing the distinctive spikes on its surface, will have trouble recognizing and stopping omicron’s heavily mutated spikes.
Regeneron Pharmaceuticals warned in late November that its monoclonal antibody cocktail could be less potent against omicron and emphasized its continuing efforts on next-generation drugs that were more likely to work against the variant. A preprint study published Thursday found that omicron could evade cocktails from Regeneron, Eli Lilly and AstraZeneca, which last week received authorization for a monoclonal to prevent covid-19 in people whose immune systems do not respond to vaccines.
Brendan McEvoy, an AstraZeneca spokesman, said the company remains hopeful that its drug, called Evusheld, “will retain efficacy against the new variant. … We are conducting studies to evaluate Evusheld against Omicron, with data anticipated in the coming weeks.”
Allison Howell, a spokeswoman for Eli Lilly, said the company is working to understand the threat omicron poses to its monoclonal treatment.
“It has always been our view that additional monoclonal antibodies may be needed to address the evolution of the virus, including emerging variants that can differ by country or even by state,” Howell said.

What’s next?
The new anti-democratic movement may still fail.
This year, for example, Republican legislators in seven states proposed bills that would have given partisan officials a direct ability to change election results. None of the bills passed.

Miles Taylor, a former Trump administration official, has helped to start the Renew America Movement, which supports candidates — of either party — running against Trump-backed Republicans. It is active in congressional races but does not have enough resources to compete in the state contests that often determine election procedures, Taylor told The Times.
Gellman, the Atlantic writer, argues that Democrats and independents — as well as journalists — can make a difference by paying more attention. “Grass-roots organizers who are in support of democratic institutions,” he said on NPR, “could be doing what the Republicans are doing at the precinct and the county and the state level in terms of organizing to control election authorities to ensure that they remain nonpartisan or neutral.”

Pfizer’s experimental updates come as COVID-19 cases, deaths and hospitalizations are all rising again and the U.S. hovers around 800,000 pandemic deaths. The surge driven by the Delta variant is accelerating because of colder weather and more indoor gatherings, even as health officials brace for the impact of the emerging Omicron strain.

As states in the South and Midwest pick up the pieces left by a series of deadly and devastating storms Friday night and early Saturday, “Infowars” host Alex Jones is already spinning conspiracy theories to try to blame it on President Joe Biden.
Jones, who recently lost a fourth lawsuit over his lies that the 2012 Sandy Hook Elementary School massacre was a hoax, told listeners on “The Alex Jones Show” on Monday that the U.S. government developed “weather weapons” in the 1950s.
He cited a talk from former CIA Director John Brennan as supposed evidence of the existence of secret government “geoengineering systems.” In Brennan’s speech, delivered at a 2016 Council on Foreign Relations event, he discussed the geopolitical risks of geoengineering the climate and the costs and benefits of using it as a potential tool against climate change.
“So, they just think you’re stupid and they don’t want you knowing they are doing all of this,” Jones said on his show, claiming these systems would explain “why plants and animals were so much bigger and healthier. But we’ve adapted to live in less air.”
Some researchers have discussed geoengineering as a way to reverse climate change by affecting weather and climate patterns with methods like removing carbon dioxide from the atmosphere or increasing the reflectivity of the Earth.
Though the concept is a source of legitimate debate, it’s at the root of a number of conspiracy theories, the followers of which believe that these practices are already being carried out in secret so the government can control the weather. There is no evidence that this is the case.
Jones then suggested that Biden may have “ordered” that the power be turned off in Texas in February, when the state was hit by a historic winter storm that led to widespread power outages.
He added: “So the question is did they use weather weapons to cause the tornadoes? That’s a legitimate question to ask.”
Biden will travel to Kentucky on Wednesday to survey the areas hit hardest by the storms, which killed at least 74 people in Kentucky and 14 in other states. The tornadoes were some of the deadliest in recent U.S. history.

Often declared in the wake of some real or invented crisis, states of emergency give illiberal leaders expanded powers, letting them do things they’ve wanted to do anyway — crack down on the opposition, purge their parties and parliaments or carry out coups to maintain their own power.
The Jan. 6 riot may have failed in its goals. But coups and the states of emergency that follow them have long driven authoritarian history.
That's why it's not surprising to find "Declare National Security Emergency" among the instructions in the PowerPoint titled "Election Fraud, Foreign Interference & Options for 6 JAN" that circulated among former President Donald Trump's inner circle one day before the assault on the Capitol. Former White House chief of staff Mark Meadows gave the presentation, which retired Army Col. Phil Waldron circulated to Trump's inner circle, to the House committee investigating Jan. 6. It outlines scenarios to overturn the 2020 election results, such as declaring them invalid because of "foreign interference." (After an unanimous vote in the House subcomittee Monday night, Meadows is now one step closer to contempt charges.) The resulting crisis would not just lead to Vice President Mike Pence’s delaying the certification of Joe Biden's victory but also open a window for exceptional actions that would interrupt the transfer of power and keep Trump in the White House.
The Jan. 6 riot may have failed in its goals. But coups and the states of emergency that follow them have long driven authoritarian history. Coups have accounted for 75 percent of democratic failures globally from World War II to the year 2000, and it's instructive to see this coup attempt in that light.

Here comes the Fed.
After 20 months of the most aggressive easing policies ever put in the place by the Federal Reserve — designed to combat the economic effects of the coronavirus pandemic — market participants now forecast a gradual reversal of central bank policy that will bring both a faster taper and quicker rate hikes over the next several years.
The CNBC Fed Survey finds that respondents expect the Fed to double the pace of the taper to $30 billion at its December meeting, which would roughly end the $120 billion in monthly asset purchases by March. The 31 respondents, including economists, strategists and money managers, then see the Fed embarking on a series of rate hikes, with about three forecast in each of the next two years. The funds rate is expected to climb to 1.50% by the end of 2023 from its range near zero today.
The first rate rise is now forecast in June, a sharp recalculation from the September survey when the first rate move wasn't expected until the end of 2022.
The Fed will hike until it hits its terminal rate of 2.3% by May 2024. But asked if the Fed will have to hike above its neutral rate to combat inflation by slowing the economy, 45% said yes, and 48% said no.
"The economy has jumped far ahead of Fed policy rates," said Steven Blitz, chief U.S. economist at TS Lombard. "The only hope is to raise rates and hope inflation drops enough to bring everything into line."
Inflation outlook
The good news is that inflation is seen peaking in February 2022 and subsiding next year. The bad news: lower inflation next year means it will still be near 4% and closer to 3% in 2023, still above the Fed's 2% target. Meanwhile, 41% of respondents think the worker shortage will prove permanent, up from 24% in November; and 31% see the inflation problem as permanent, up 3 points, compared with 59% who continue to say it's
"If the pandemic continues to recede - each new wave of the virus is less disruptive to the health care system and the economy than the previous wave - the economy should be near full employment and inflation will be comfortably low by this time next year," said Mark Zandi, chief economist at Moody's Analytics.
Lost in the concern about inflation are some generally upbeat economic forecasts. Growth is seen near 4% next year and remaining above trend in 2023 at 2.9%. The unemployment rate is forecast to approach 3.8% in 2022 and continue to drop in 2023. The recession probability is a modest 19%.
But stock market gains are expected to be a small 1.5% next year compared with current levels, but gain 6% by year-end 2023. The 10-year yield by then is forecast to work its way up to 2.5%.
"We have a strong message coming from the bond market that it believes inflation pressures are indeed transitory," wrote Jim Paulsen, chief investment strategist of The Leuthold Group.
But John Lonski, president of Thru the Cycle, says, "Treasury bond yields are too low given consensus outlooks for inflation and economic growth in 2022."

The grocer will no longer provide unpaid COVID-19 leave for unvaccinated employees and will apply a $50 monthly health insurance surcharge to salaried non-union workers who are unvaccinated and enrolled in a company healthcare plan, a spokesperson said on Tuesday.
Kroger, among the biggest private employers in the United States, had about 465,000 full and part-time workers as of Jan. 31, according to a regulatory filing.

Liz Cheney (R-WY) was mocked by conservatives Monday evening after a hearing of the United States House Select Committee on the January 6 Attack produced text messages from former White House Chief of Staff Mark Meadows that showed numerous people close to then-President Donald Trump, including his son, were surprised by the Capitol riot and reached out to him to issue a statement against it — which he then did.

It is abundantly clear at this point that whatever you think of Donald Trump, what happened on January 6th was as much a surprise to him as anyone else. The idea that he hatched and led some master plan in an attempt to seize power and remain in office never made any sense given what we know. Besides, it makes even less sense when you consider that it…didn’t happen. Normally, when you want to enact a coup, you actually, you know, enact a coup. Instead, Trump denounced what occurred, even if it was a few hours later than some would have liked. He then left the White House without any objections.
So again, what exactly is the point of the January 6th Committee? They certainly aren’t going to dig into the questions surrounding the FBI’s involvement, and there’s just no evidence whatsoever that Trump or anyone else in the administration knew what was going to happen that day. And no, Meadows or whoever else discussing objecting to the election and/or exposing possible fraud is not the same as supporting a breach of the Capitol Building.
All this leaves one final straw for Cheney and her cohorts to pull on: To try to blame Trump for not acting quickly enough after he found out what was happening. But no one should let them forget the insane, false conspiracy theory they spun for almost a year before settling for those political scraps.

Good public health policy is welcome, even when long delayed. So we should cheer the Biden administration’s announcement earlier this month that Covid-19 rapid-result antigen tests (RATs), which tell you in as little as 15 minutes whether you’re infected, will be covered by private insurance. For uninsured Americans, the government would make 50 million free tests available, to be distributed through health clinics and other sites in rural and underserved communities. Assuming that they can detect the new Omicron variant along with its predecessors, these tests will be a critical part of our evolving pandemic strategy.
Nevertheless, the plan still faces hurdles. Supplies of the tests are limited, and even when they can be found, they’re expensive: typically, $10 to 15 apiece at drugstores. The administration’s plan to route reimbursements for the tests through private insurance is also unwieldy, requiring consumers to pay first, submit receipts, and then wait to get reimbursed. By contrast, in Germany and India tests are available in stores for a few dollars, and the U.K. provides seven free tests per day to anyone who wants them. Singapore mailed test kits to every household.
Widely distributing tests is important but insufficient on its own. We also need a massive public education campaign to teach people not so much how to use the tests (they’re easy to use), but when to use them. The goal of properly timed testing is simple: to minimize the time that a contagious individual is in the presence of others. (That’s especially important, given the high transmissibility of the Omicron variant.) Put another way, RATs enable you to determine whether you’re infected and able to spread the SARS-CoV-2 virus, so that you can self-quarantine and consider taking one of the oral or intravenous Covid-19 medications if you are. This requires people to act responsibly—that is, to test frequently—at times and places of their own choosing. The process is fairly painless, not unlike brushing your teeth or showering before you go out.
RATs identify individuals who are in their three-to-five-day period of maximum contagiousness, mostly before they are symptomatic. The tests generally involve putting a nasal swab and some reagent drops on a test card or test cassette that quickly displays two lines for positive or one for negative. Results are available in 10 to 30 minutes, in contrast to the slightly more accurate PCR tests, which measure viral RNA but take days to report results. PCR tests are useful to track progress over the entire course of infection, while RATs lose sensitivity once the contagious period is mostly over.
In simple terms, the rapid antigen tests enable you to be reasonably sure you’re not a risk to others before you leave for any get-together, movie, indoor sporting event, trip to a crowded store, and so on.

Advisors to Donald Trump who take the Fifth Amendment while testifying before the House Select Committee to Investigate the January 6th Attack on the U.S. Capitol are doing so to evade a death sentence, a Democratic congressman suggested on Tuesday.
Rep. Ed Perlmutter (D-CO) made his comments as the House Rules Committee was considering a resolution to refer former Trump chief of staff Mark Meadows to the Department of Justice for criminal prosecution for contempt of Congress.
Perlmutter began his comments by noting the oath of office that Donald Trump took at his 2017 inauguration.
The career lawyer later cited the federal law for the offense of treason.
"18 USC 115, which is why I think that we're going to see the Fifth Amendment being played, 'whoever, owing allegiance to the United States, levees war against them or adheres to their enemies giving them aid and comfort within the United States or elsewhere is guilty of treason and shall suffer death.' This is a death penalty statute! 'Or shall be imprisoned not less than five years and fined under this title but not less than $10,000 and shall be incapable of holding any office under the United States," he said.
"Just the memos that have been disclosed to this point, in my opinion, are treasonous. We danced around this a lot and we talk about obstructing Congress and things like that, but this was an effort to have a coup, to overthrow the country, to break the pledge of allegiance we make to this country and to the constitution," he explained.
If they find a way to force Trump to testify under oath, he will plead the 5th amendment rights, that means that we can assume guilt. The Department of Justice could hold a Grand jury hearings.
His only way to avoid prosecution is to negotiate a reduced sentence. Plus he can't run for President again...

Racine (D) on Tuesday sued the Proud Boys and Oath Keepers over the Jan. 6 attack on Congress, seeking to use a law written to cripple the Ku Klux Klan to exact stiff financial penalties from the far-right groups that Racine alleges were responsible for the violence,” the Washington Post reports.

Three prominent Fox News anchors sent concerned text messages on Jan. 6 to Mark Meadows, the last chief of staff for President Donald J. Trump, urging him to persuade the president to take the riot seriously and to make an effort to stop it.
The texts were made public on Monday, shortly before the House committee scrutinizing the Jan. 6 attack on the Capitol voted 9-0 in favor of recommending that Mr. Meadows be charged with contempt of Congress. Representative Liz Cheney, Republican of Wyoming, read the text messages aloud.
The texts, part of a trove of 9,000 documents that Mr. Meadows had turned over before he stopped cooperating with the inquiry, were sent to the former White House chief of staff by Laura Ingraham, the host of the nighttime show “The Ingraham Angle”; Sean Hannity, a longtime prime-time host who once appeared onstage with Mr. Trump at a campaign rally; and Brian Kilmeade, a host of the morning show “Fox & Friends.”
“Mark, the president needs to tell people in the Capitol to go home,” Ms. Ingraham wrote. “This is hurting all of us. He is destroying his legacy.”
