Merry Xmas!

When the Democrats keep the White House I will celebrate Christmas, and if the pandemic fades away peacefully.

In his first year in office, Biden signed a $1.9 trillion pandemic relief package that provided direct payments to families and the unemployed. He signed a $1.2 trillion infrastructure bill that earned the support of 19 Republican senators and promises hundreds of thousands of new jobs.

And sure enough, the unemployment rate has dropped to just 4.2% after the creation of nearly 6 million jobs this year alone. It’s a remarkable economic record.

Yet Biden’s approval rate has dropped to 43%, the second lowest of any modern president at the end of his first year. The reason is also hidden in that sign Carville hung in his campaign war room nearly 30 years ago.

As good as the economy has performed this year, voters’ perceptions of their well-being are inextricably tied to the global coronavirus pandemic. Remember that Carville’s sign also said, “Change vs. more of the same” and “Don’t forget healthcare.”

Let’s state up front:

It’s not Biden’s fault that millions of Americans refuse to take a free vaccine that prevents most deaths from the virus. It’s not Biden’s fault that the Delta and Omicron variants caused new surges of infections. It’s not Biden’s fault that supply chain disruptions caused by shutdowns and border closures have caused inflation to soar.

But it sure doesn’t help when Biden prematurely declared “independence” from the virus back in July. It doesn’t help when Vice President Kamala Harris said the administration did not anticipate the variants. And it doesn’t help when Biden promised access to at-home testing but now says he wished he had thought of it two months ago.

Nothing about governing through this pandemic is easy. Politics has definitely made it harder.

But Biden’s approval rate will not rebound — no matter how good the economy — until most Americans don’t wake up every day thinking about the coronavirus.

Merry Christmas eve Scott JohnsonMD.

A new national telephone and online survey by Rasmussen Reports of one thousand registered voters finds that 70% of Likely U.S. voters believe it was a bad thing for American democracy for Zuckerberg to spend hundreds of millions of dollars to influence the outcome of the 2020 presidential election. Because they are not well informed of educated people. The vast majority of highly educated people vote for Democrats, rich or middle class people.

I would have thought that few people were aware of the Zuckerbucks, but that apparently isn’t true. 62% say they have followed closely the news about Zuckerberg’s effort to influence the election. Again the deep staters are millionaires want a Socialist nation????

Voters don’t buy the myth that election fraud isn’t a problem because they are not well informed!

Modern polling by Rasmussen by a highly conservative is not credible to people like me.

A very Biden Christmas.

He’d forgotten what he was waiting for. He frowned as he tried to remember. He could hear people talking in the other room. He tried to recall if he’d eaten breakfast, but that wouldn’t come either. He wanted to get up and ask somebody what he was waiting there for, but people got mad when he did that.

He heard footsteps. Jill was coming toward him. He got up. “It’s time,” she said.

“Time? Time for what…”

“Never mind, Joe…” She took his arm and led him to a nearby door. He stopped as they drew near to it. “Are there people out there?”

“No, no… everything’s fine…”

He forced a smile. Things always went better when you smiled.

It was the other office, the one with the pictures instead of real windows. Someone was waiting, a woman, one of the mean ones. He couldn’t remember her name but he knew he didn’t like her. She looked him over, sighed, and turned her head to someone behind her. “Think he can handle it?”

“Of course he can handle it,” Jill’s voice was sharp. He didn’t care for that. Taking a step toward the mean woman, he said., “Wait a minute here, what… what are you…”

Jill took his arm once more. “It’s all right, dear. Come this way, now…”

She led him to the podium. He noticed the cameras. Ahh… he knew what it was all about now. It was for television. They wanted him to speak to the cameras. He could do that just fine.

Jill pointed to the screen. “Just read what’s on there… Just like last time.”

He frowned at her. “I know that. I’ve done that… lots of times.”

She smiled and touched his cheek. “I know you do, dear…”

Then he was alone, under the bright lights. For a moment he felt a touch of that old fear. What if something happened? What if somebody asked a question he didn’t know? What if he said something he wasn’t supposed to?

The prompter lit up. Someone said, “We’re rolling.”

He licked his lips. For a moment the words on the screen made no sense at all. A wave of relief flooded him as they suddenly sprang into clarity. “To all my fellow… murkies… uhh… Americans…. Ma…ma…ma... Merry… uhh, Christmas…”

When a professional golfer does epidemiology better than Fauci...

By Bill Hansmann

Golfer Phil Mickelson is known for his incredible short game.  However, this past week, Mickelson was more interested in defining an endgame — to COVID, that is.  While President Biden, Dr. Fauci, and others warn of a "winter of death," Mickelson has asked the question that came immediately to my mind when hearing of the high transmissibility but extremely low hospitalization and mortality rates of the new omicron variant:

Serious question since I'm not a dr. If omicron is contagious but not deadly (25,000 cases in Africa with no deaths), why try and control it? Why not let it go and let people get it and develop immunity? Especially for those who won't get vaccinated? Pls, no hate, I'm just curious.

I believe that Mickelson has hit the nail on the head.  Researchers at Oregon Health & Science University, in findings published online in The Journal of the American Medical Association, have found that breakthrough infections of the delta variant created "a robust immune response."  Those researchers said the findings indicate that "the immune response is likely to be highly effective against other variants as the SARS-CoV-2 virus continues to mutate.

These findings suggest to the researchers that the omicron variant could create "super immunity" while presenting a far smaller percentage of very sick or dying individuals than seen in the delta or earlier variants.  More research needs to be done into how this immunity would occur.  However, the researchers are encouraged by the antibody levels from breakthrough cases — i.e., cases of infection in individuals after vaccination, which were shown to be 1,000% more effective than antibody levels demonstrated after two doses of the Pfizer vaccine.

"You can't get a better immune response than this," said senior author Fikadu Tafese, an assistant professor of immunology and molecular biology at the Oregon institution.  "These vaccines (referring to the existing Pfizer and Moderna vaccines) are very effective against severe disease.  Our study suggests that individuals who are vaccinated and then exposed to a breakthrough infection would have super immunity."

Dr. Marcel Curlin of the same Oregon school says, "I think this speaks to an eventual endgame.  It doesn't mean we're at the end of the pandemic, but it points to where we're likely to land.  Once you're vaccinated and then exposed to the virus, you're probably going to be reasonably well protected from future variants.  [This] implies that the long-term outcome is going to be a tapering-off of the severity of the worldwide epidemic."

What about the unvaccinated?  Those folks have chosen to take their chances with the virus.  But infection with the omicron variant likely will produce far less mortality and hospitalization than earlier strains.  That's what we are seeing from Africa.

So why not let this new viral variant go about its business of finishing off the epidemic since it apparently can do so without high mortality rates?  I believe there are many who would love to see this plague continue into the fall election season.  This would allow many of the potential voter-fraud methods to be repeated from the questionable 2020 elections.  I don't believe you have to be in the "black helicopter" crowd to have this belief.  As far as I can tell, there are none circling above me.

I don't want to see a winter of death, and I certainly don't want to see people getting sick and dying.  The solution put forth by Phil Mickelson is more likely to see folks get just slightly ill and then recover.  If his suggestion is successful, I will chalk it up as Mickelson's seventh major victory to go with his six golf majors.

Lastly, we could have been witnessing a very specific sign of Biden’s declining mental faculties, something called “echolalia.” This occurs when someone echoes what he’s just heard, in an automatic and effortless fashion. It’s common in young people with some forms of autism or Tourette syndrome. Among older folks, it can be associated with...dementia.

Regardless of why Biden did what he did, it was just a wonderful thing to hear those words coming from his lips. It was, in essence, Joe Biden’s Christmas gift to the millions of Americans who look at his presidency and weep for their country. There’s really nothing as good as hearing a bad man (and Biden is a bad man; there are no good intentions there, only a lust for power) freely and without coercion denounce himself.

Let’s go, Brandon!!!

Holy fucking shit! We're all going to DIE:

The New York Times put together this handy list of symptoms to help you understand if you’re infected with the Omicron variant or not.

The symptoms are:

Scratchy or sore throat
Nasal congestion
Dry cough
Muscle pain, especially in the lower back
Headache
Fever, or flu-like symptoms

And, yes, they’re serious about that list:

Looks like I and most everyone I know has had the Omi-CON since I was a kid.

“If you want to win the war on Christmas, first you take out the person who makes Christmas possible,” Greene said. “As I speak, Jewish space lasers are being trained on the North Pole.”

Noting that norad tracks Santa’s route each year, she urged those military officials monitoring his progress “to be on the lookout for any incoming of a space-laser-ish nature.”

In her most incendiary claim, she asserted that the Rothschild banking family is masterminding the anti-Santa plot “because they don’t worship Santa the way regular people do.”

“The Rothschilds have already celebrated their own holiday with their little Rothschildren,” she said. “They call it the Festival of Lasers.”

By next Christians,if they don't prosecute him for obstruction of justice he may be the next Al Capone and die in jail for tax evasion.

In a column for MSNBC, contributor Jessica Levinson claimed that Donald Trump's latest lawsuit, this one filed against New York Attorney General Letitia James, will likely crash and burn thereby extending his streak of legal maneuvers that have been slapped aside by the courts.

As Levinson notes, Trump has been a study in perseverance, continuing to file lawsuits since he was unceremoniously booted from the Oval Office over a year ago -- few of which have succeeded other than working as stalling tactics as he battles multiple investigations in New York City, by the state of New York, the Justice Department and a House committee looking into the Jan 6th insurrection.

Writing "There are few truisms in life, but here’s one: Trump is litigious. Very litigious. Before the 2016 election, a USA Today analysis found that he and his businesses had been involved in 4,095 lawsuits over three decades, and in more than 2,100 of those suits as the plaintiff," the legal analyst added, "It should therefore come as no surprise that lawsuits filed by Trump and his allies claiming there was fraud in the 2020 election failed. 'Failed' might be too tepid a word to describe the fate of these election-related lawsuits: These suits belly-flopped into a pool containing nothing but air and concrete. By one estimate, Trump and his allies have a win-loss record of 0-40 when it comes to post-election lawsuits."

RELATED: Trump’s latest lawsuit reeks of 'emotional fury' — and no judge will care: biographer David Cay Johnston

According to Levinson, a professor at Loyola Law School, Trump's latest, filed against the New York AG, is likewise bound for failure.

"Just when we thought the year might end before another big Trump suit hit, the former president sued New York Attorney General Letitia James. Her office is investigating whether the Trump Organization may be civilly liable for, among other things, inflating property values to obtain loans and deflating property values to get beneficial tax treatment," she wrote adding that Trump, as is his custom, has called her investigation a "witch hunt."

"As is often the case with his lawsuits, Trump's only problem with his suit against James is that the law is against him," Levinson explained. "Prosecutors can have political biases without violating the constitutional rights of the people the prosecutor is investigating. That prosecutor simply must set them aside while doing her job."

Needling the former president even more, she added, "So, kids, aim high, try hard and persevere. But if you’re thinking of filing a lawsuit, check to see if you have a legally recognizable claim. With that, let’s say goodbye to 2021 and the many hours Trump’s lawyers have billed on his behalf."

According to new reports Kamala Harris took a meeting with Hillary Clinton in the White House in order to get coaching on 2024….and other things.

Trending: Joe Biden: “I Agree, Let’s Go Brandon!”

Take a look:

Speculation is already running wild that they discussed how to get rid of Sleepy Joe:

Follow on Telegram @WeLoveTrumpNoah

According to the Daily Mail:

Kamala Harris has told her inner circle she would get better press coverage if she was one of her 48 white, male predecessors and has turned to Hillary Clinton for advice in the face of low approval ratings, according to a new report on Thursday.

And she has concluded she would get better treatment in the media if she were white and male like all of her predecessors, telling her allies as much.

Harris has contended with departing aides and gripes about her leadership style, amid complaints from within her circle about the difficult tasks she has been assigned, including dealing with ‘root causes’ of migration.

For guidance she has sought out for Clinton, who lost the 2016 election to Donald Trump, and famously once complained about a ‘right wing conspiracy’ against her.

The former senator from New York who served as secretary of state under Barack Obama said Harris isn’t being treated equally.

How hilarious is this?

Florida again leading the way to covid infections with a governor who thinks he is smart!!!!!!! BWAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA!!!!!

Ah, the false sense of security of what seemed, in a lull in the pandemic’s rampage, like freedom from the threat of COVID-19 infection, all too suddenly has been snatched away by the omicron variant — and Floridians giddily taking risks.

And just in time for Nochebuena, Christmas and New Year’s Eve.

Bah, humbug!

Driven by the highly contagious nature of omicron, infections are again surging in Florida.

This week, the state saw the largest single-day increase of newly reported cases since the pandemic began. Deaths, too, are on the increase, according to a Miami Herald analysis of available state data reported Friday to the U.S. Centers for Disease Control.

With the arrival of the new variant came all the signs of trouble and a not-so-new reality: Hours-long lines for COVID testing in Miami-Dade. Two Royal Caribbean ships and one Carnival ship sailing from PortMiami and Fort Lauderdale reporting coronavirus outbreaks on board and prompting passenger and crew quarantines.

Deja vu to 2020.

Where’s DeSantis on omicron?

And where’s Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis?

Stuck in the same place where he’s been since the onset of the pandemic.

Still not leading the way with sensible policies, or at least words of appropriate guidance for those who most need to hear an endorsement of science over quackery from him — the politically reticent to vaccinate.

But no chance of that happening.

DeSantis is still busy peddling treatment instead of prevention. He’s still spreading lies on Fox News and any conservative right-wing program that will listen to him about Dr. Anthony Fauci, the nation’s top authority on infectious diseases.

Trump landed at No. 41 out of 44 presidents.
Barack Obama came in 10th, while Abraham Lincoln sat in the top spot.
See more stories on Insider's business page.
Former President Donald Trump, a former reality-TV star who's famously obsessed with ratings, is unlikely to appreciate C-SPAN's new survey of presidential leadership. Historians who participated in the survey ranked Trump among the worst US presidents.

Out of 44 presidents reviewed for the survey by 142 historians and professional observers of the presidency, Trump landed at 41st, the lowest ranking of any president in the past 150 years. The only presidents who ranked lower than Trump were Franklin Pierce, Andrew Johnson, and James Buchanan.

I agree 1000%

Advocates for defunding police will doubtlessly contend that the problem isn’t the number of police officers so much as the jobs police have been asked to do. They think civilians should take on many police functions, particularly in the realm of mental health—a contention I strongly dispute. But even if police stopped responding to mental-health calls, policing would still be more complex and more demanding than it has ever been. The internet, smartphones, and digital evidence mean criminal investigations are more complex. The modern cop must navigate a web of constitutional restrictions that his predecessors could never have imagined. And the administrative workload continues to grow as police are required to collect more and more data: everything must be filmed on a body camera and documented in an appropriate report.

The choice facing America’s big cities is a simple one, and if they don’t make it, it will be made for them. They can push hard to hire more police officers, giving police chiefs the resources they need to fight crime while also improving police training, bettering police relationships with the community, and reducing officer fatigue and misconduct. Or they can do nothing, and they will quickly discover that a chronically understaffed, exhausted, and poorly trained police department leads to both more violent crime and more police misconduct. To me, it seems like an easy choice.

Graham Factor was formerly a police officer in a major American city. He writes about policing at The Graham Factor.

Cops work 20 hour shifts. Can you imagine making life and death decision??
