Odd that the President DID address the Capital riot crowd about 20 minutes before Ashli Babbit was killed.... and the dishonest piece of shit left demands that he didn't...
I know your pain. I know you’re hurt. I know you’re hurt, I know your pain. I know you’re hurt. We had an election that was stolen from us. It was a landslide election and everyone knows it, especially the other side. But you have to go home now. We have to have peace. We have to have law and order. We have to respect our great people in law and order. We don’t want anybody hurt. It’s a very tough period of time. There’s never been a time like this where such a thing happened where they could take it away from all of us, from me, from you, from our country. This was a fraudulent election. But we can’t play into the hands of these people. We have to have peace. So go home, we love you. You’re very special. You’ve seen what happens. You see the way others are treated that are so bad and so evil. I know how you feel, but go home and go home at peace.
Does the left ever get sick of lying about Donald Trump? Because they are either hopelessly naive and wrong about most of his Presidency or they lie on purpose. I am thinking it is really both. Cognitive dissonance and bias confirmation at it's worst.

As prosecutors in Manhattan weigh whether to charge Donald J. Trump with fraud, they have zeroed in on financial documents that he used to obtain loans and boast about his wealth, according to people with knowledge of the matter.
The documents, compiled by Mr. Trump’s longtime accountants and known as annual statements of financial condition, could help answer a question at the heart of the long-running criminal investigation into the former president: Did he inflate the value of his assets to defraud his lenders?
In recent weeks, prosecutors in the office of the Manhattan district attorney, Cyrus R. Vance Jr., have questioned one of Mr. Trump’s accountants before a grand jury as part of their examination of the financial statements, said the people with knowledge of the matter. Prosecutors also interviewed his longtime banker, another person said.
If the prosecutors seek an indictment, the case’s outcome could hinge on whether they can use the documents to prove that a defining feature of Mr. Trump’s public persona — his penchant for hyperbole — was so extreme and intentional when dealing with his lenders that it crossed the line into fraud.

How Ashli Babbitt went from Capitol rioter to Trump-embraced ‘martyr’

Her phone rang on that day in early July, nearly six months after a police officer’s bullet killed her daughter as she and a mob of rioters seeking to overturn the election stormed a barricaded door deep inside the U.S. Capitol.
Micki Witthoeft answered the call and listened as former president Donald Trump expressed condolences over Ashli Babbitt’s violent death and acknowledged, she said, that her daughter had died Jan. 6 trying to salvage his lost presidency.
Witthoeft took the opportunity during the 30-minute call to ask Trump for help getting information about Babbitt’s death and to fight for those still imprisoned because of the riot.
After their call, the circumstances of Babbitt’s death — once a focus of right-wing extremists and white supremacists — became a talking point for the nation’s most dominant Republicans and TLS addicted Coldheartedtruth

Column: I left Fox News after 12 years. Tucker Carlson’s ‘Patriot Purge’ was the final straw

I quit Fox News after more than a decade as a contributor. So did my business partner and friend Steve Hayes.
We explained our reasons on the Dispatch, a media company we founded. But the decision was a long time in coming. Like Ernest Hemingway’s description of bankruptcy, it came gradually and then suddenly.
The sudden part came thanks to Fox host Tucker Carlson’s streaming special “Patriot Purge.” It’s a perfect example of propaganda that weaves half-truths into a whole lie. It insinuates that the Jan. 6 riot at the Capitol might have been a “false flag operation,” orchestrated by the FBI or the Deep State. Worse, it suggests the Biden administration is coming for the real patriots — i.e. Trump voters. “The domestic war on terror is here,” says one of the “experts” in “Patriot Purge.” “It’s coming after half of the country.”
This dangerous nonsense was the last straw for me (and Steve). It was an unhappy decision for us. We have many friends at the network, and there are many people, particularly on the news side, that do good, honest journalism.
Seriously my friend for two decades

The United States has surpassed 800,000 deaths from the coronavirus as the pandemic approaches the end of a second year.
The toll, nearly the population of San Francisco, comes as more than 50 million coronavirus cases have been identified in the nation since the pandemic began, according to Johns Hopkins University’s Coronavirus Resource Center. The country has reached the milestone as the omicron variant has gained ground, intensifying calls for vaccinated people to get booster shots as disease trackers fear the new variant will spawn a wave of illness atop the outbreaks blamed on the delta variant.
The omicron variant is already spreading rapidly in the United States and could drive a massive wave of infections as soon as January, the nation’s top health officials warned in a briefing Tuesday morning.
Here’s what to know
Omicron appears to cause less-severe illness than earlier variants of the coronavirus but is more resistant to the two-dose Pfizer-BioNTech vaccine, according to a major private study in South Africa.
China, one of the world’s last countries maintaining a zero-covid policy, has reported its first omicron cases in two patients who recently returned from abroad.
It is not a lie when we say that they kept asking and asking and asking him to call off the rioters for what-- two or three hourse before he did.
He resisted because he couldn't see that anything was wrong with supporters of his fighting with Capitol police and forcefully entering the Capitol building calling out "Hang Mike Pence!" and "Shoot Nancy Pelosi" and asking the police to tell them where the officials were and calling for the counting of votes to stop.
No, we are not lying. But for days you tried to say this was nothing but a peaceful protest.
Trump's own people were desperately upset and even the blowhards at Fox News could see that this was wrong and causing him to look bad.
Trump, however, thought it was just terrific and smiledc and resisted until finally the pressure became so intense that even he got it though his benighted head that he had screwed the pooch on this one.

Only then did he appear and say we love you and tell them to go home
Only then, AFTER so much more damage had been done.

Judge Rules Trump Tax Records Can Be Released

“A federal judge on Tuesday rejected former president Donald Trump’s long-running effort to block the Treasury Department from turning over his tax records to the House Ways and Means Committee, but put the ruling on hold pending an expected appeal,”
the Washington Post reports.
THE DAY WILL COME WHEN DONALD CAN NO LONGER TERGIVERSATE, APPEAL, DENY, OR PUT OFF THIS DAY OF RECKONING.
As Christian author John Pavlovitz says:
Don't Be a Jerk. Get Vaccinated. Get a Booster. It's Not Just About You.
It is not a lie when we say that they kept asking and asking and asking him to call off the rioters for what-- two or three hourse before he did.
Of course that is a lie, Reverend...
Three hours after the riot started the President had already made two statements for people to remain peaceful or to go home.
I did not say I knew the exact time. But the evidence is in. Again and again and again messages came to Trump to call off the rioters and shut down the horrible pictures people were getting on the media. And he resisted and resisted and resisted before finally acquiescing.
Far too late.
Far, far too late.
For a long time, he was actually enjoying it.
Looks like ONCE AGAIN CH is the LIAR:
"For 187 harrowing minutes, the president watched his supporters attack the Capitol - and resisted pleas to stop them."
THREE hours.
Trump Republicans Seek to Dethrone Mitch McConnell
December 14, 2021 at 8:42 pm EST By Taegan Goddard 8 Comments
“Mitch McConnell is facing a frontal assault from emboldened pro-Trump Republicans eager to unseat him as the Senate’s GOP leader,” Axios reports.
“Taking on McConnell risks not only triggering his wrath in the Capitol but making candidate-critics vulnerable to targeting by his ample supply of campaign cash.”
Also interesting: “Tucker Carlson, one of the most influential conservatives in the country, castigated McConnell during his Fox News show last week — and promised to make the minority leader a consistent object of scorn in future segments.”
THEY BETTER START FIGURING OUT HOW TO DETHRONE DONALD TRUMP. THE AMERICAN PEOPLE ALREADY HAVE.

Since then, they’ve tried to rewrite January 6 in whataboutisms. Any mention of the horror has to be sprinkled with a mention that antifa could’ve been involved and that the security should have been better. It can be a full out denial (Tucker Carlson) or an attempt to mention a few caveats (Ingraham), but in each case acknowledging January 6 was evil requires distancing themselves from what happened. They quit blaming black people and
Because to fully explain it—without lying—would require all of them to acknowledge they fueled an attempt to topple democracy. They knew and so did Trump long before the January 6th attacks.
Meadows is going to get arrested. Becaus
The Guardian published a scoop from Meadows’s new memoir of his time with Trump, The Chief’s Chief, that Trump had tested positive for the coronavirus three days before the September 2020 presidential debate with Joe Biden. (A second test came back negative, but within a few days Trump had become deathly ill.) The debate’s organizers required a negative test but left it on the “honor system,” per the moderator Chris Wallace, which it turns out is not an effective mechanism for handling a serial liar. Meadows’s book suggests that Trump knew he might be positive even as he debated Biden. Days after the debate, Trump claimed that he could have gotten the virus from Gold Star families he met after the initial positive test result.
Trump did not take well to the revelation of his positive test, writing in a statement, “The story of me having COVID prior to, or during, the first debate is Fake News. In fact, a test revealed that I did not have COVID prior to the debate.” Trying to clean up the mess, Meadows humiliatingly went on Newsmax and agreed that his own book is “fake news.” Unsurprisingly, this did not satisfy Trump. The Daily Beast reported that Trump had a terse review of the book—“fucking stupid”—and Maggie Haberman of The New York Times reported that the former president felt betrayed by and angry with his former aide.
Garland refused to answer a simple question.

This is not the first time Trump has made claims about election fraud when the results do not please him. It has been a part of his playbook for years -- long before he entered politics.
When he ran to become the Republican Party nominee in 2016, he attempted to cast doubt on the election process. Trump said he did not lose the Iowa caucuses in 2016 to then candidate Sen. Ted Cruz, because he "stole it."
"Ted Cruz didn't win Iowa, he stole it. That is why all of the polls were so wrong and why he got far more votes than anticipated. Bad!" Trump wrote on Twitter at the time.
He also wrote, "Based on the fraud committed by Senator Ted Cruz during the Iowa Caucus, either a new election should take place or Cruz results nullified."
Cruz was the clear victor for the Republican Iowa caucus in 2016, as he defeated Trump by three percentage points.
In October 2016, just weeks before the general election, Trump wanted to cast doubt on the results by tweeting, "The election is absolutely being rigged by the dishonest and distorted media pushing Crooked Hillary - but also at many polling places - SAD," without providing any evidence for the claim.
Even after the election ended and it was clear that Clinton had lost and conceded victory to Trump, the president didn't stop lamenting over the election he had won. He quickly made the claim that he also won the popular vote over Clinton, which is something that did not happen.
"In addition to winning the Electoral College in a landslide, I won the popular vote if you deduct the millions of people who voted illegally," said Trump.
<bTrump lost the popular vote to Clinton by nearly 3 million votes, and there was no evidence of voter fraud then, just as there is no evidence of voter fraud now.
Fast forward to today, Trump took to his favorite platform, just moments before major media outlets had projected Biden the winner in this year's election, and falsely tweeted, "I WON THIS ELECTION, BY A LOT!"
That tweet was flagged by Twitter because Trump was not declared the victor, and because for months since his rally on Aug. 17 in Oshkosh, Wisconsin -- when he famously said, "The only way we're going to lose this election is if the election is rigged" -- Trump has been attempting to cast doubt on the American electoral process.
Trump continued to attack mail-in ballots and absentee ballots well into the fall months so that when the ballots were to be tabulated, he could cast doubt and speculate that he was the victim of fraud due to the vote-by-mail system.
On Twitter, the day after Election Day, as Biden's lead was becoming more evident in several states, Trump tweeted, "They are finding Biden votes all over the place — in Pennsylvania, Wisconsin, and Michigan. So bad for our Country!'
The next day, the president made the claim that he has always said mail-in ballots are not to be trusted.
"I've been talking about mail-in voting for a long time. It's -- it's really destroyed our system. It's a corrupt system. And it makes people corrupt even if they aren't by nature, but they become corrupt; it's too easy. They want to find out how many votes they need, and then they seem to be able to find them. They wait and wait and then they find them," Trump said two days after Election Day.
As mail-in ballots continued to be counted, states like Pennsylvania began to show a clear Biden lead.
In the days after Election Day, Trump continued to make falsehoods on Twitter, which the social media platform quickly flagged. "WATCH FOR MASSIVE BALLOT COUNTING ABUSE ... REMEMBER I TOLD YOU SO!" he tweeted, claiming that ballot harvesting took place and he was right about the potential of it happening.
Trump has stuck to this playbook for years; however, his claims have never prompted a meaningful change in the election process.
Nor have they this time.

Fireworks erupt on Fox News after Geraldo blames Trump for inciting Capitol riots
Brad Reed
December 14, 2021
Fireworks erupted on Fox News Tuesday night after Geraldo Rivera directly implicated former President Donald Trump of inciting riots at the United States Capitol building.
Host Sean Hannity began by asking Rivera why Congress was only investigating the Capitol riot and not the assorted riots that took place in response to the murder of George Floyd last year.
Rivera replied that those riots were not an attack on the American republic and system of government the way that this one was.
"This was a riot that was unleashed, incited, and inspired by the president of the United States, which targeted the heart of American democracy" Rivera charged.

Hannity tried to deflect blame by claiming that Trump had urged protesters to act "peacefully," without noting the fact that Trump for more than three hours refused to tell the rioters to leave the Capitol after the riots had begun.
Rivera responded by citing Hannity's own texts that he sent to Meadows during the riots asking Trump to put out a statement telling people to leave.
"I beg you, Sean, to remember the frame of mind you were in when you wrote that text on January 6," he said. And when Laura did. And when Brian did. And when Don Jr. did! Remember that concern you had. Remember the frustration you had at our beloved 45th president."
Guest Dan Bongino wasted no time in accusing Rivera of disloyalty.
"The backstabbing of the president you're engaging in is really disgusting!" he fumed.
Go back where you came from!

No, what was and continues to be really disgusting is Trump's obvious attempt to backstab a legal, constitutional, democratically conducted national election.
The House voted Tuesday night to hold former President Donald Trump's chief of staff, Mark Meadows, in contempt of Congress for defying a subpoena from the House select committee investigating the Jan. 6 Capitol attack to appear for a deposition.
The vote was 222-208, with GOP Reps. Adam Kinzinger of Illinois and Liz Cheney of Wyoming voting with all Democrats.
Meadows is now the first former lawmaker ever held in criminal contempt by Congress -- and the first held in contempt since 1832 -- when former Rep. Sam Houston was held in contempt for beating a colleague with a cane.
How livid is Donald Trump tonight about the public revelation that the cowardly Donald Trump Jr. on Jan. 6 finally said what Donald Trump Jr. may have been trying to say for his whole life, but because he is Donald Trump Jr., he was not allowed to say it to his father?
The House passed legislation on Tuesday to create a special office within the State Department to combat Islamophobia globally, as Democratic leaders sought to find a way to unify their party against anti-Muslim hatred while stopping short of progressives' calls to remove Rep. Lauren Boebert (R-Colo.) from committees for her attacks on Rep. Ilhan Omar (D-Minn.).
Lawmakers passed the bill along party lines, 219-212.
Progressives have introduced a measure to kick Boebert off committees for her Islamophobic comments last month suggesting that Omar, one of the first Muslim women elected to Congress, could be a terrorist.

Tonight Hannity opened his show, gave you your talking points Scott Johnson, by likening what occurred during the Capitol attack to demonstrations around the country after the murder of George Floyd by a Minnesota police officer.
“All riots, obviously, are bad. All of them,” Hannity said. “And on this program, we strongly condemn the violence on Jan. 6 just like we condemned all of the violent riots in the summer of 2020.”
Hannity called Cheney reading his Meadows text “a weak attempt to smear yours truly and, presumably I guess, President Trump,” and argued that what he wrote was consistent with what he said on the air the day of the Capitol attack.
“I say the same thing in private I say to all of you,”
WASHINGTON — Congress gave final approval early Wednesday to legislation that would raise the debt ceiling by $2.5 trillion, moving over nearly unanimous Republican opposition to stave off the threat of a first-ever federal default until at least early 2023.
Democrats were united in support of the measure, which passed the Senate 50 to 49 along party lines on Tuesday afternoon and then cleared the House in a 221-to-209 vote shortly after midnight on Wednesday. Republicans opposed the legislation en masse, with only one, Representative Adam Kinzinger of Illinois, voting in favor. The bill now heads to President Biden, who was expected to quickly sign it.
The swift action came a week after party leaders announced a deal to establish a one-time fast-track process to increase the debt ceiling with a simple majority vote, instead of the 60 votes needed to move most legislation through the Senate.
The votes occurred with little time to spare before a potential default, which would be catastrophic for the national economy. The Treasury Department had warned that it would be unable to pay the nation’s bills soon after Wednesday, and the agency is currently using so-called “extraordinary measures,” a series of fiscal tools to delay the threat of a default.

“The full faith and credit of the United States should never be questioned,” Speaker Nancy Pelosi of California said before the House vote. “The health of our economy should never be threatened. The financial security of our families must never be gambled.”
Senator Chuck Schumer of New York, the majority leader, said on Tuesday that the $2.5 trillion figure would be enough to punt the threat of a default past the midterm elections next year, an assessment shared by the Treasury Department, according to a person familiar with its internal estimates. The debt limit, which covers debt incurred by administrations from both parties, is currently set at $28.9 trillion.
“The American people can breathe easy and rest assured there will not be a default,” Mr. Schumer said in a speech on the Senate floor. He thanked Republicans, including Senator Mitch McConnell of Kentucky, the minority leader, for their help in setting up the process and resolving a must-pass piece of fiscal legislation before the end of the year.
A handful of Republicans, while opposed to the debt limit increase, ended their party’s monthslong blockade of debt limit legislation by voting last week to create the expedited process. Republicans had spent months refusing to allow Democrats to take action on long-term legislation raising the debt ceiling, using the filibuster to stall any action.

You lunatics believe that CRT aka Woke ness is anti-white discrimination.
For the woke, America’s history of slavery and segregation are at its core, more important than virtually everything else. Wokeness portrays itself as a struggle against whiteness, or white supremacy, rather than against white people themselves, a rhetorical evasion which allows white people to become the main practitioners of woke politics.
With black activism, wokeness has a somewhat contradictory relationship.
On one side it is given to displays of performative submissiveness. While fires from the George Floyd riots were still smoldering, Nancy Pelosi and Chuck Schumer led Democratic members of the House and Senate to the halls outside the congressional visitor’s gallery, where they donned kente cloth and knelt before the cameras; similar, if less striking, quasi-religious enactments continued throughout the summer. A few weeks later the New York Times announced it would henceforth capitalize black when it referred to race (white would remain lowercase) as its standard style, inevitably evoking the Bible’s capitalization of pronouns referring to the deity. Virtually every national news organization followed suit.
It's a complete reversal of the civil rights and anti discrimination laws.
Maga wants to return to the Jim Crow era after the assassination of Abraham Lincoln.
I just saw another example of gaslighting.
They believe the big tech and the Democrats are the same thing as China China China..
Many have yet to realize that the new cold war between the United States and China is not one between democracy and dictatorship, as was the previous one between the U.S. and the USSR. Rather, it is a battle between two emerging totalitarian states, with China intent on surpassing the U.S. as the new global hegemon.
The two totalitarian progressions display different features: China is in the grip of iron fisted autocratic rule imposed from above, while America is under siege by an anarchic tyranny underwritten by cultural elites and tech titans. The difference is significant. However, Xi’s China and progressive America both aspire to total politicization of society and control over all aspects of a citizen’s life. Both regimes see no limits on governmental interference, and demand all citizens accept an official doctrine and infallible authority. China is leaping forward, but woke America is catching up.
You are losing your minds.

Democrats and anti-Trump Rep. Liz Cheney, R-Wyo., used Donald Trump Jr.'s text message to smear former President Donald Trump and Mark Meadows, but all she did was make their case that they had no desire for protesters to storm the Capitol on Jan. 6, former White House chief of staff Mark Meadow told Newsmax.
"They've been making the argument that this was a preplanned idea that we had, and not only have I said publicly that no one in the West Wing had any advanced knowledge that any breach of security at the Capitol was going to happen – and certainly this message from Don Jr. says the same thing," Meadows told host Jenn Pellegrino on Tuesday.
"We were all shocked and horrified by what happened. We were surprised by what happened. And candidly, you know, when you look at the people that are there, they need to be held accountable. But yet at the same time, it was not a plan by Donald Trump or anybody in his administration."
The Jan. 6 Select Committee's narrative Republicans sought an "insurrection" is shot down by Cheney's own evidence, Meadows added.
"It's how the left wants to portray it, as if somehow conservatives condone that," he said. "But here's what we don't condone. We don't condone a congressional committee using really someone who is honoring the executive privilege of the president that I had the honor of serving – and then going out and trying to use the very same information that was nonprivileged to spin a story that would suggest that Donald Trump has something to hide, or that Mark Meadows has something to hide.
"Neither of us have anything to hide. That's why we participated, but obviously they're not about a real investigation. They're about advancing a political narrative."
Cheney used a text exchange between Meadows and Trump Jr. on Jan. 6 – handed over to the Jan. 6 Select Committee under its subpoena – to achieve a vote to recommend a House resolution to hold Meadows in contempt of Congress.
Cheney ostensibly argued Meadows defied Congress' subpoena power, Meadows noting the irony, with texts she was given through Meadows' willful cooperation.
Then she used them for "personal political gain," Meadows told Pellegrino.
"This is not about me," Meadows continued. "It's about our country, and it's about a Jan. 6 commission that has used the power of Congress in a way that it should scare every American – when you can go out and throw out subpoenas and try to go into private messages and then use them for personal political gain. It's a sad day."
It is not only an attack on Meadows and Trump, but also his supporters and patriotic Americans, Meadows concluded.
"This is designed to silence not just Mark Meadows, but every Trump supporter – every person that is out there willing to say that they love their country, they love their flag, they love their Constitution," Meadows said.
"This is what they're trying to do. We're not going to allow that to happen."
McConnell’s days are done. He was a thorn in America’s and President Trump’s side during the President’s administration. He turned his back on the election steal after the President helped him win his election.
America deserves better than the current clowns in DC, many of whom are domestic enemies of the USA.
Shit
Punchbowl News: “Despite heavy lobbying by Schumer and President Joe Biden, it doesn’t appear that Senate Democrats are that close to getting the Build Back Better Act done by Christmas. Sen. Joe Manchin hasn’t committed to voting for the $1.7 trillion package, or even beginning debate on it. Some of the Senate panels have yet to meet with the parliamentarian’s office to begin vetting their committee titles to make sure they’re in compliance with the Byrd Rule, which controls consideration of reconciliation bills. And Democrats don’t have consensus on the state and local tax deduction (SALT), a major issue for blue state Democrats like Schumer, who is also up for reelection this cycle.”
“Schumer isn’t yet acknowledging that BBB can’t be done by Christmas, although it’s becoming clear that may be the case. Schumer is doing what he can to put the Senate in a position to pass the package, if everything were to fall into place. But it just may be a bridge too far.”

PENNSYLVANIA
2020 RESULT: Biden won by 80,555 votes.
HOW IT WAS REPORTED: Via phone or email, two AP reporters contacted the elections office in all 67 of Pennsylvania’s counties. The AP requested information about all instances of potential voter fraud they identified and whether they were referred for further investigation to local or state prosecutors or to the secretary of state’s office. One county, Blair, did not respond to AP’s request.
WHAT AP FOUND: Election officials in 11 of the state’s 67 counties identified a total of 26 possible cases of voter fraud, representing 0.03% of Biden’s margin of victory. Philadelphia’s elections office declined to provide AP with any information, so AP contacted the county district attorney’s office and was told no cases had been referred to them for review. So far, six people have been charged.
HIGHLIGHTS: Most of the cases involved allegations of ballots being cast for voters who were deceased. In one instance, charges were not filed against an Adams County man suspected of returning the ballot of his recently deceased wife. But in Allegheny County, a man was suspected of casting a ballot for his dead wife and was allowed to enter a diversion program to resolve the case. Instances of ballots received on behalf of two dead voters have been referred to prosecutors in Bucks County. One of three cases in Lehigh County and one of four cases in Luzerne County also involved dead voters. Statewide, no prosecutor, judge or election official in Pennsylvania has raised a concern about widespread fraud.
CASE DETAILS: In Delaware County, a 70-year-old man pleaded guilty after authorities say he illegally voted for Trump on behalf of his long-dead mother. Bruce Bartman was sentenced to five years of probation. Prosecutors said Bartman used the driver’s license number for his mother, who died more than a decade ago, to register her to vote, obtain a mail-in ballot, return that ballot and fraudulently vote in her name.
LMAO
Public schools in California make you a kid for life.
For all their supposed erudition, leftists have always had trouble with symbolism. That is, they tend not to understand that a concept may represent another concept, rather than being the thing itself. They think that by getting rid of bad grades, they can get rid of what the bad grades represent—failure, ignorance, and laziness, on the part of students and teachers both.
Just as they think that by getting rid of terms like “fat,” they can make people healthier and more “body-positive.” Or that by replacing “fireman” and “policeman” with “firefighter” and “police officer” they can end male dominance in these dangerous professions. Or that they can make a man into a woman just by changing what he calls himself—and that it’s a triumph when one of these “women” joins a girl’s swim team and smashes all previous records by a gigantic margin.
This fundamental flaw in leftist thinking goes all the way back to its French revolutionary origins. The revolutionary council, finding that bread shortages did not disappear after the collapse of the monarchy but instead got dramatically worse, came upon a brilliant solution: They would simply decree that bread should be less expensive. Why didn’t the king think of that? With all the economic sophistication of a group of spoiled children, they announced “le maximum,” a stated maximum price that bakers were permitted to charge for a loaf. This had the effect of closing down most of the bakers in Paris and unleashing inflation on a scale never before seen in the history of government-issued money—and not to be seen again until the Soviet Revolution.
But the French revolutionaries had confused the concept of money with what money represents: value. They didn’t realize that, whether you charge one franc or 10 kopeks or 1,000 zÅ‚otys, the value represented by the loaf of bread—the cost of ingredients, the difficulty in obtaining them, plus the labor of the baker—is unaffected.
Identical thinking drives leftist demand to raise the minimum wage. They fail to realize that you can’t make someone’s labor more valuable by decree. You can only make it more expensive.
If you think that people with such a shallow understanding of the world can’t be trusted to run our schools, you’re obviously correct. There’s a word to describe people who believe that unpleasant ideas can be eliminated by banning the “trigger words” that represent them: Such people are called children. They might force me to refer to them as “adults,” but that won’t make them grow up. And if you let a child teach a child, all you end up with is a child. So here’s a toast to the California school system: Children forever!
Current Republicans
That is, they tend not to understand that a concept may represent another concept, rather than being the thing itself.
Teach them that the Democratic are anti white. So they vote against Democrats.
- They didn't review the 50,000 ballots in Arizona

Vaccines Ineffective Against Omicron Without Booster
December 15, 2021 at 8:33 am EST By Taegan Goddard 29 Comments
A new study finds that all three U.S.-authorized Covid-19 vaccines “appear to be significantly less protective against the newly-detected Omicron variant of the coronavirus in laboratory testing, but a booster dose likely restores most of the protection,” Reuters reports.
We got effective vaccines from a novel virus in record time, but scientists are still figuring out the dosing scheduling.
Scientists See ‘Really, Really Tough Winter’ with Omicron
December 15, 2021 at 7:41 am EST By Taegan Goddard 65 Comments
Science: “Omicron has now been found in more than 70 countries and is rapidly gaining ground. As Science went to press, for example, Danish scientists estimated Omicron was just days away from replacing Delta as the most common variant.”
Said researcher Troels Lillebæk: “What we see is an extraordinary, rapid spread.”
“Despite very high vaccination rates, the country of 5 million is now seeing more than 6000 cases a day, roughly twice the number seen during the highest previous peak… Neighboring Norway, which has about the same population, is now projecting more than 100,000 cases a day in a matter of weeks, unless people drastically reduce social contacts.”
Vaccine Booster Gap Traps Millions of Americans

“Health officials are stressing the importance of coronavirus vaccine booster shots as the Omicron variant spreads around the world, but millions of Americans aren’t yet eligible for another dose,” Axios reports.
“Anyone 16 and older who got their second Pfizer or Moderna shot at least six months ago is eligible for a booster shot in the U.S… But 58 million Americans received their second shots within the last six months.”
“Children aged 5–11 just became eligible for vaccines last month, meaning none of them are yet eligible for a third shot.”

Partisans Standing By Biden and Trump
December 15, 2021 at 7:28 am EST By Taegan Goddard 42 Comments
A new Politico/Morning Consult poll finds 70% of Republican voters think Donald Trump should probably or definitely run for president again. That’s compared to a 63% of Democrats who think Joe Biden should seek reelection.
Bad news for both men: A majority of independent voters are hoping neither runs, with 59% saying no to Trump and 67% saying Biden shouldn’t seek a second term.
A Look Ahead to the 2022 Midterms
December 15, 2021 at 7:03 am EST By Taegan Goddard 26 Comments
Doug Sosnik: “With the Democrats in control of the federal government, the midterm elections will be a referendum on their leadership and stewardship.”
“While elections are about the future, views are formed by how people feel about the current direction of the country and their daily lives. In general, these feelings harden by the end of the summer in the runup to voting in the fall. This is increasingly the case as voting now starts long before Election Day in most states. While getting COVID under control is a prerequisite to having life return to normal, the condition of the economy will most likely determine the fate of Democrats in 2022.”
“The three key economic measurements to watch are inflation (the Consumer Price Index), employment and GDP growth. These three metrics most accurately gauge the strength of the economy and impact how voters think about the future. It is important to keep an eye on actions the Federal Reserve takes in response to these economic trends.”
TAEGAN GODDARD: That gives President Biden just about six to eight months to turn things around.
Democrats Clear Tricky Debt, Spending Bills

Playbook: “It took them a while, but Democrats have finally dealt with most of the tricky debt and spending issues that prevented them fully focusing on the Biden legislative agenda.”
“The Senate passed a debt limit increase of $2.5 trillion Tuesday afternoon, and the House followed suit just after midnight. Congress should be freed from addressing the issue again until 2023.”
“A final vote on the long-stalled NDAA is likely in the Senate today. Congress has funded the government through mid-February. It shouldn’t exactly get a big pat on the back for doing the basics, but the three issues were all cleared with some degree of bipartisanship and less brinkmanship and drama than expected.”

“Schumer will face a choice in the next few days. Does he keep the Senate in session, grinding through nominations on the floor — which needs to be done in the face of continued opposition from some Republicans — while pressing for a BBB deal behind-the-scenes? Or does he acknowledge that BBB isn’t happening right now, send his colleagues home for Christmas and come back Jan. 3 to try again?”

Cheney Takes Center Stage in Jan. 6 Inquiry

“Ms. Cheney’s no-holds-barred style grabbed the spotlight this week as the committee led the charge to hold Mark Meadows, the former White House chief of staff, in contempt for his refusal to cooperate with the panel’s investigation.”

‘Capitol Punishment’ Is the January 6 Film You Must See
Pre-dawn FBI raids were conducted by dozens of armed agents transported in tactical vehicles to terrorize January 6 protesters and their neighbors. Citizens were ratted on by their friends and colleagues. Families were bankrupted and traumatized by the Biden regime’s ongoing crusade to punish hundreds of Americans who protested his unlawful election. People are held behind bars and denied bail based on their political views as trials are delayed far into 2022. And then there was the near point-blank execution of Ashli Babbitt at the hands of a Capitol Police lieutenant, who still is praised as a hero by the media and lawmakers of both parties while facing no criminal consequences for his actions that day.
These are just a few of the alarming stories included in Nick Searcy’s exceptional documentary, “Capitol Punishment.” Searcy, an accomplished actor and film producer, traveled around the country for months talking to Americans ensnared in the Justice Department’s abusive and punitive investigation into the events at the Capitol on January 6, 2021. Interviews include Dr. Simone Gold, Michael Waller, Jack Posobiec, Lt. General Michael Flynn, Representative Louie Gohmert (R-Texas) and Aaron Babbitt, the widow of Ashli Babbitt.

The District of Columbia National Guard, about 1,100 troops, is mobilized to support local law enforcement.
4:05 p.m.
A congressional correspondent tweets that congressional leaders are being evacuated from the Capitol.

In a tweeted video lasting just over a minute, Trump says, in part: “I know your pain. I know you’re hurt. We had an election that was stolen from us. It was a landslide election and everyone knows it, especially the other side. But you have to go home now. We have to have peace. We have to have law and order. ... So go home. We love you, you’re very special. ... I know how you feel. But go home and go home in peace.”
Some of Trump's tweets addressing the riot were deleted. Twitter bans the president from tweeting for 12 hours. Twitter first froze the tweets and wouldn't allow comments or retweets, then the ban was imposed.

ST. PAUL, Minn.-- Derek Chauvin, the former Minneapolis police officer convicted of murdering George Floyd, pleaded guilty Wednesday to separate federal charges that he violated Floyd’s civil rights.
As part of a plea deal, Chauvin pleaded guilty to two counts of violating Floyd’s civil rights. In exchange, the government agreed to dismiss two other charges and a separate case in which Chauvin was charged with violating the civil rights of a 14-year-old.
Prosecutors said they would recommend a sentence of 300 months in federal prison, to be served concurrently with his sentence on the murder conviction.
Chauvin, appearing in court in an orange prison jumpsuit before U.S. District Judge Paul Magnuson, answered quietly as the judge asked him whether he understood what he was doing.
“Yes, your honor,” Chauvin said.
“You understand that there is no right to appeal to a higher court? This is the end of it?” Magnuson asked.
“Yes your honor,” Chauvin responded.
Chauvin had previously pleaded not guilty to federal charges that he violated Floyd’s constitutional rights during a deadly encounter in which he and three other Minneapolis police officers restrained and handcuffed Floyd face down on a city street as Floyd gasped for air and eventually lost consciousness.
The May 2020 incident, captured on a viral Facebook video, spurred a national reckoning on issues of race and policing and sparked mass demonstrations around the world.
Chauvin, who pressed his knees into Floyd’s neck and back for nine and a half minutes, was convicted in April on state charges of second-degree unintentional murder, third-degree murder and second-degree manslaughter and sentenced to 22 ½ years in prison. Chauvin is appealing that sentence.

November 2021: Earth’s 4th-warmest November on record
The year 2021 is very likely to end up as the sixth-warmest year on record.

November 2021 was Earth’s fourth-warmest November since global record-keeping began in 1880, 0.91 degree Celsius (1.64°F) above the 20th-century average, NOAA’s National Centers for Environmental Information, NCEI, reported December 13. NASA also reported November 2021 as the fourth-warmest November on record, 1.18 degrees Celsius (2.12°F) above the 1880-1920 period, which is its best estimate for when preindustrial temperatures occurred. November 2021 was the third warmest November on record according to the Japan Meteorological Agency. Minor differences in rankings between the agencies can result from the different ways they treat data-sparse regions such as the Arctic.
November 2021 land areas had their third warmest November on record, while global ocean temperatures were the fourth warmest on record, according to NOAA. Africa had its warmest November on record; South America and Asia had a top-10 warmest November; North America and Europe had a top-15 warmest November. The contiguous U.S. experienced its seventh-warmest November on record, while Alaska had its eighth-coldest November.
Satellite-measured November temperatures of the lower atmosphere were the 10th-warmest in the 43-year-long record, according to the University of Alabama, Huntsville.
Figure 1. Departure of temperature from average for November 2021, the fourth warmest November for the globe since record keeping began in 1880. Record-warm November temperatures were present across parts of North America, South America, Africa, Oceana, and Asia, as well as across parts of the Atlantic, Pacific, and South Indian oceans. (Image credit: NOAA/NCEI)
January-November ranked as Earth’s sixth warmest such period on record. According to NCEI’s annual temperature outlook, the year 2021 is virtually certain to rank among the 10 warmest years on record, and more than 99% likely to be the sixth-warmest on record.
Two billion-dollar weather disasters in November; 41 so far in 2021
Earth had two billion-dollar weather disasters in November 2021, according to Aon: flooding in British Columbia, Canada, that cost $2 billion and killed four people, and flooding in India and Sri Lanka from late October through November that killed 217 people and did $2.5 billion in damage. Earth has now had 41 billion-dollar weather
One has to get soooo sick of the Reverend and the fact he can never, ever admit to being wrong... and how insufferably gullible he is when it comes to repeating literally ANYTHING he reads in the media.
It was 1:45 on Jan 6th when the first of the rioters approached the building.
It was 2:15 when they evacuated the Senate Chambers.
It was 3:15 when Trump first made a statement for people to remain peaceful and to respect the blue.
It was 4:15 when he sent out another video message telling everyone to go home.
At the earliest the riot started at 1:45. By the time three hours rolled along, Trump had sent to different messages regarding the riots, the first about an hour after the action was taken in the building.
More to the point, these rioters were not watching television, reading twitter, or otherwise listening to the media. The entire concept that the President could have somehow stopped it with a simple statement...
Is such a "Reverend" way of thinking.
The American dream is falling in love with Trump again.
Democrats well know that Donald J. Trump is different from the traditional, flexible Republican because he does not crumble in the face of leftist political assault. Democrats, I submit, are confident that the more they demonize Republicans, Republicans will tremble and buckle, letting the left walk all over them -- when they do not rush to join the leftist assault in the manner of a Liz Cheney and Adam Kinzinger.
And so, this is not so much to denounce Democrats for the political charlatans they have become but to appeal to Republicans to close ranks behind a steadfast, conservatively populist leader like Donald Trump for a very obvious reason: to prevent the radical leftists from destroying our democratic institutions. Republicans, nay the American people, should have learned by now: where the Democrats prevail, free speech, dissent, the essentials of liberty, dies. And that is what truly informs "America's Anti-Democratic Movement." If Mr. Leonhardt were an honest reporter, he would have acknowledged that the Republican Party is, today, the true, and only, party of American freedom

Lying about 3 hours and 17 minutes is the Coldheartedtruth way of thinking.
The other messages went to people who wanted to overturn the election results Scott Johnson not the rioters!
Scott you should have pleaded your 5th amendment rights after your comments to avoid self incrimination.
Why do liberals lie then accuse others of doing the lying ?
the POS "pastor" does it
in fact the 3 libs here do it regularly
Dr Fauci does it.
In fact he says he is science
kind of like the "pastor" speaking for Jesus
But blatantly lying
He funded gain of function
He fought against Covid therapeutics
and for a police state
Well Rog...
Unlike you, some of us have never had the pleasure of having the police called to a domestic violence situation.
So unlike you... I have never had to plead the 5th.
But I am curious Roger...
Did you have troubles understanding the timeline? Is that your issue here?
According to the left invoking the 5th Amendment is an automatic admission of guilt, alky.
You can't even seem to keep up with your own clown car with Bennie "Bell Curve" Thompson behind the wheel.
As expected....Controlling rape in Texas is going as well as keeping beaners out!!!!! BWAAAAAAAAAAAAA!!!!!!
This alone should cause the SCOTUS to ditch the insanity of the Texas law!!!!!

Greg Abbott’s Promise to Eliminate Rape Is Holding Up About as Well as You’d Expect

There are currently 73 people on the waiting list to speak with a rape counselor at the Sexual Assault Resource Center in Bryan, Texas — the highest number in the organization’s history. The vast majority of the names on that list have been added since September, says Lindsey LeBlanc, the center’s executive director.
September was the same month Gov. Greg Abbott boldly declared he was putting an end rape in the state. “Texas will work tirelessly to make sure that we eliminate all rapists from the streets of Texas by aggressively going out and arresting them and prosecuting them and getting them off the streets,” Abbott declared.

I can think of two good reasons the experts might tell the public Ivermectin doesn't work against Covid19.
1. Because it doesn't work.
or...
2. Because it does work.
If it's 2, I think we'd have to look at the death sentence for anyone involved.
Scott exhibits the same thing about my ex wife Lydia who is bipolar again never admitted error. But he has schizophrenia.
I pledge to accept her as she is, but she is not capable. I'm better off in the long term
BWAAAAAAAAAAAAA!!!!!
Well Rog...

A blatantly RACIST domestic violence situation against a BLACK woman.
I wonder if the alky donned his KKK robe and hood every time he beat the shit out of her.
It implies guilt if you answer the question. It's not an admission of guilt, because for a not guilty until proven guilty by a jury of your peers
You obviously failed classes about the Constitution..
History is high school classes

Good morning Deputy Warden @awkathyjo,
How’s the DC Gulag this morning?
You are responsible for human rights violations in the DC Jail and torture and abuse of pre-trial defendants.
It’s clearly bc of your extreme political views.
But you’re not alone, many are guilty too.
Julie Kelly 🇺🇸
So the lovely woman running the DC Gulag holding Trump supporters who’ve been denied bail at the demand of Biden’s DOJ is a Trump hating, race baiting fascist-wanna be.
Check out her Twitter feed…
There definitely needs to be consequences
But it will likely not happen until 2022
or 2024
and Epstein didn't kill himself
I have never been arrested for anything!
Civil charges in a divorce proceedings are not criminal charges Jimmy Hitler Jr.
I never hit Lydia.
Keep claiming it....
Btw I will have ten years of sobriety on June 25th 2022..
If it's 2, I think we'd have to look at the death sentence for anyone involve
Asshole you would be better off shoving a 1k light bulb up your ass than take Ivermectin......at least some like you fucked might enjoy that!!!! BWAAAAAAAAAAAAAA!!!!
I pledge to accept her as she is, but she is not capable. I'm better off in the long term
So you beat Lydia's ass for being BLACK and DISABLED.
We've witnessed your on-line behavior over the past several years, alky. And based upon the extreme and profound mental illnesses you exhibited, I don't believe for a minute that Lydia was or is bi-polar.
You, on the other hand? You're completely FUBAR in so many distinct ways I think we've lost count.
I know people 10, 15, 20 years your senior who are free, active, and live independently. And I can tell you one thing they all DON'T DO...
...and that's sit on a relatively obscure blog 24/7/365 plagiarizing meaningless shit to people they have not and never will meet, let alone call them "friends."

Having fast, accurate, and cheap at-home Covid-19 tests available to everyone would do more to reduce transmission than all the mask mandates and other restrictions combined. Fact that there has been so little focus on achieving that shows how the policy priorities are backwards.
the policy objective is power, not stopping Covid
and that includes Fauci, the FDA and NIH and now Biden
BWAAAAAAAAAAAAA!!!!!

The Biden administration's COVID press strategy is brilliant. Routinely ignore health policy reporters who are knowledgable enough to ask tough questions.
Matt Whitlock
This is very fascinating - Becerra had no health care experience before being made Health and Human Services Secretary
And apparently he refuses to talk to health policy reporters — during a pandemic.

“It’s time for Secretary Becerra to come out of hiding,” said AHCJ President Felice J. Freyer, who signed the letter along with fellow board members Sabriya Rice and Joyce Frieden. “The public deserves to hear from the cabinet member responsible for the programs and policies that affect our health.”

All he knows is political science
But he refused to say that, even though his own son asked him to issue a statement. But he sat down and watched it until three hours and 17 seconds.
So yes.... apparently the timeline "DOES" confuse you.
Probably just having a bad day, huh?
Or perhaps you could explain:
If the riot started at 1:15 and by 2:45 the President had already sent out statements...
How do you get to 3 hours and 17 seconds?
Can you do the math, genius?
Great news from Doctor Fauci. No government requirements.
Covid-19 booster shots can help improve protection against the Omicron coronavirus variant and there is no need for a variant-specific booster dose at this time, Dr. Anthony Fauci, director of the National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases, said during a virtual White House briefing on Wednesday.
"A number of studies have been done throughout the country and the world to take a look at how we might prepare in the context of vaccinations," Fauci said.
Can you do the math, genius?
C'mon man!
He can do spreadsheets.
And excel.
And excel spreadsheets.
It's how he counted all the nails he bent.
He didn't mention go back home until 3 hours and 30 minutes.
You can't separate yourself from reality anymore.
I made a mistake
..
But it still proves you were wrong too
He didn't mention go back home until 3 hours and 30 minutes.
Nonsense, Roger...
The second statement telling everyone to go home was within an hour of his first statement.
There is a timeline here, Rog.
An actual historical timeline.
Anyone can look it up.
It is not subject to opinion and it is why Cheney and the rest of the jan 6th looked so silly bringing up the text messages and requests from Trump aides. They hadn't bothered to even see if or when Trump did send out messages.
The fact that other idiots toss around 3 hours is because they are just as stupid as you or perhaps they just know that if they say it (and it's about Trump) then you will believe it. It's how it works. Too lazy to do any of your own research, so just believe whatever it is you want.
Everytime you say 3 hours, Roger... it is a flat out lie.
But that is all you can do with Trump
Roger...
Are you being as honest with us when you say you didn't beat up Lydia for being black... as you are when you insist that Trump didn't sent out any messages for over three hours?
I want to know what we can actually trust about you.
Because if your confidence level in your honesty is the same in both situations, then we can pretty much make some assumptions.
Paranoid schizophrenia
Paranoid schizophrenia
Well whatever your problem is Roger... don't care. But that seems about right.
Either way, you didn't answer the question.
Are you as confident that Trump waited 3.5 hours before sending out messages as you are that you didn't beat your ex-wife like a drum?
Tell us Roger!
Both James and Roger have begged online for money.
Millionaire Denny refuses to help them.
Biden on the List if most influential people, finished far behind Trump.
Millionaire Denny refuses to help them.
Why is the goat fucking imbecile so fixated on others business???? Could it be his life sucks more than 99% of Amercans he hates????????BWAAAAAAAAAAAAA!!!
No, Ch, we are confident that Trump waited 187 minutes. That is three hours and seven minutes, not 3.5 hours.
You lie on top of lying on top of lying.
"Both James and Roger have begged online for money."
Another lie. I don't know about Roger,
but I have never begged online for money.
Show us a quote of me where I did.
