It feels like they made this chart almost impossible to follow, which of course is the point. They want you to only see the fact that unvaccinated people without previous Covid diagnosis are much more likely to be hospitalized than others.
But when you dig a little further, it shows that there is almost no difference between some who is fully vaccinated and has a previous Covid diagnosis and one who is unvaccinated and has had a previous Covid diagnosis. Either way, anyone who has a previous diagnosis (vaccinated or not) are less likely to become hospitalized than someone who is vaccinated and had no previous diagnosis. Like it or not, the CDC's own numbers are confirming that natural immunity is working better than vaccinations to control hospitalizations.
Moreover, these numbers are pretty much all pre-Omicron. If more recent studies in other countries are telling us anything, it is that the vaccinations are working less potently than natural immunity as a protection from Omicron. But given this is the CDC, we probably will not see this same data from them for some time. But we will be provided with lots of statements that is not supported by any data.
So my habit has become to pretty much ignore any "statements" made by Fauci or the CDC and wait for their data to come out. There was no way during the past year that the CDC ever suggested to anyone what this chart is showing. In fact, they repeated offered up the nonsense that natural immunity provided only a fraction of the protection than the vaccinations. Demanding (in contrast to their own data) that even those who had natural immunity need vaccinations. These numbers prove those statements were little more than lies.
But that won't stop the gullible from being lied to again and believing it without question!

THE WASHINGTON POST'S Coronavirus Updates: Boosters strongly protect against severe disease, real-world data shows

Important developments in the pandemic.
The latest:
The first real-world data on vaccine booster shots and the omicron variant in the United States shows that the additional doses provide robust protection against severe disease from the new pathogen. Three reports released Friday by the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention support what health authorities have said repeatedly in the weeks since omicron became dominant: that boosters are highly effective at keeping people infected with omicron alive and out of the hospital.
But the data is arriving late in the omicron surge, at a time when hospitalizations are higher than they've ever been. Booster uptake has also slowed, with just 39 percent of vaccinated people having gotten the additional shot. Experts said they hope public health officials will use the findings to encourage more Americans to get boosted. The shots “are holding up the wall against severe disease," said Eric Topol, a molecular medicine professor at Scripps Research, “and that’s phenomenal.”
BUT, AGAINST ALL THE EVIDENCE,
Anti-vaccine activists from around the country are set to gather at the Lincoln Memorial this weekend to rally against mandates. This once-fringe movement that stirs baseless doubts about vaccine safety has never been stronger, my colleagues Peter Jamison and Ellie Silverman report. Public health experts worry that more people may refuse vaccines for themselves or their children if it continues to gain steam.

Huge numbers of American workers missed work in late December and early January because of omicron infections. New data from the Census Bureau shows that nearly 9 million people called out sick because they had covid-19 or were caring for someone who did. It's the most since the bureau started tracking coronavirus-related absences, well over last winter's peak, and marks another setback at a time of labor shortages.
Testing access is slowly expanding in the United States now that some of the Biden administration's initiatives are getting off the ground. But this country is still woefully behind others where free rapid testing has been part of daily life for months. Here’s a look at how Britain, India and Singapore do it.
In at least three countries, governments are fining or threatening financial penalties against people who refuse to get vaccinated. Early data shows that these heavy-handed policies may cause an immediate uptick in vaccinations. But some scientists and rights groups warn that it could fuel grievances and distrust in the long run.

Congress gave local governments billions of dollars in pandemic relief last spring but put few restrictions on how they could spend the money. The result has been a mix of public health initiatives and aid to local businesses, alongside some pet projects with no clear connection to the pandemic or the economic downturn it triggered. Northampton County, Pa., and Kansas City, Mo., used some of their money to set up drive-through testing and contact tracing operations. In Florida, meanwhile, Palm Beach Gardens officials steered more than $2 million into a new golf course. Alabama set aside $400 million for rebuilding a prison!
BRAIN TRANSPLANTS NEEDED FOR ANTI VAXERS!

LOL WHILE YOU GUYS BS, I PROVIDE SUSTANTIVE ARTICLES THAT YOU CAN'T ANSWER.
You still believe the big lie despite this horror!!!!!
The never-issued order would have also instructed the defense secretary to issue a report on the 2020 election within 60 days. The executive order is dated Dec. 26, 2020, suggesting Trump would have used it to justify remaining in office through mid-February, well past the inauguration of his successor.
It’s unclear who authored the document, titled “PRESIDENTIAL FINDINGS TO PRESERVE COLLECT AND ANALYZE NATIONAL SECURITY INFORMATION REGARDING THE 2020 GENERAL ELECTION,” but it repeats many of the same conspiracy theories voiced by the former president’s closest advisers ― and the president himself.
An order to appoint a special counsel also aligns with a New York Times report on Dec. 19 that Trump was considering naming Sidney Powell to the position. Powell served as a lawyer for Trump’s campaign and was among several people close to Trump who spread the baseless lie that voting machines manufactured by Dominion Voting Systems were rigged to prevent Trump’s reelection.
The Jan. 6 panel subpoenaed Powell earlier this week along with Rudy Giuliani, Trump’s former personal attorney. (Giuliani was suspended from practicing law last year for making “false and misleading statements” about the election.)
Dominion has since filed suit against Powell and is seeking $1.3 billion in damages for the “unprecedented harm” it says she caused via her “wild” allegations.
Contrary to the claims of Trump and his advisers, the 2020 presidential election was actually the “most secure in American history,” according to an assessment by the Department of Homeland Security conducted while Trump was still in office.
Judges have uniformly dismissed all of Trump’s lawsuits claiming voter fraud in the 2020 election.
The only reason why I still talk here is because I am trying to help him get help.
A woman I work with has a 19 year old son who had covid several months ago. He's attending college locally and a vaccine is required to attend. The kid made his case for natural immunity which was rejected. So he got the shot a few days ago. He woke up in the middle of the night a couple days ago, violently ill like the worst flu you could ever imagine times ten. He's home instead of in class, in bed, recovering very slowly thanks to the vaccine that was required because SHUT UP.
Officials have stressed the goal of preventing not just infection but severe disease. On that count, some good news: A third dose was at least 90% effective at preventing hospitalizations for COVID-19, both during the delta and omicron periods, the study also found.
The second study focused on COVID-19 case and death rates in 25 states from the beginning of April through Christmas. People who were boosted had the highest protection against coronavirus infection, both during the time delta was dominant and also when omicron was taking over.
Those two articles were published online by the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention.
The Journal of the American Medical Association published the third study, also led by CDC researchers. It looked at people who tested positive for COVID-19 from Dec. 10 to Jan. 1 at more than 4,600 testing sites across the U.S.
Three shots of the Pfizer and Moderna vaccines were about 67% effective against omicron-related symptomatic disease compared with unvaccinated people. Two doses, however, offered no significant protection against omicron when measured several months after completion of the original series, the researchers found.
“It really shows the importance of getting a booster dose,” said the CDC’s Emma Accorsi, one of the study’s authors.
Americans should get boosters if at least five months have passed since they completed their Pfizer or Moderna series, but millions who are eligible have not gotten them.
“If you are eligible for a booster and you haven't gotten it, you are not up to date and you need to get your booster,” CDC Director Dr. Rochelle Walensky said during a White House briefing Friday.

TWO MORE OF YOUR "HEROES":
University of Rhode Island revokes honorary degrees given to Rudy Giuliani and Michael Flynn
BY SOPHIE REARDON
JANUARY 21, 2022 / 2:33 PM / CBS NEWS
Former New York City Mayor Rudy Giuliani and retired Lt. Gen. Michael Flynn will no longer hold honorary degrees from the University of Rhode Island, the school announced Friday. The Board of Trustees and the president approved the motion after an investigation by the URI Honorary Degree Committee.
"The Board of Trustees supports the University and its mission to uphold its values, especially its commitment to intellectual and ethical leadership and fostering an environment of diversity and respect," said Chair of the Board of Trustees Margo Cook.
President Marc Parlange said he agreed with their decision, writing, "they no longer represent the highest level of our values and standards that were evident when we first bestowed the degree.
"As a civic institution, URI has the privilege and responsibility to sustain and preserve American democracy by inspiring and modeling good citizenship," Parlange said. "Revoking these honorary degrees reinforces our values and allows us to lead with truth and integrity."
Giuliani
Upon review, the committee noted Giuliani's role in the January 6 attack on the U.S. Capitol last year. "His words encouraged domestic terrorist behavior aimed at preventing Congress from certifying the outcome of the 2020 presidential election," it said.
Giuliani, former President Trump's one-time lawyer, was subpoenaed last week by the House committee investigating the Capitol riot.
The committee also cited the fact that Giuliani was barred from practicing law in Washington, D.C., and New York "for his unfounded claims of rampant fraud during the 2020 presidential election."
Giuliani had received the Doctor of Laws Honoris Causa in 2003 for leading New York City in the aftermath of September 11, 2001.
Flynn
The committee pointed to the former general pleading guilty to "willfully and knowingly" lying to the FBI during the Mueller investigation into Russian meddling in the 2016 election . Flynn did try to revoke his guilty plea, and Trump pardoned his former national security advisor before leaving office in 2021.
The URI decision also cited two speeches Flynn gave — one in Dallas in which he said "a military coup was needed in the U.S." and another in San Antonio in which he "called for the establishment of 'one religion' in the U.S."
In 2014, the university awarded Flynn — an alumnus of the university and a three-star Army general — the Honorary Doctorate of Humane Letters.
NOW THEY HAVE ADMITTED THEIR MISTAKE.

Yeah, like anyone would accept "help" from someone with your history of alcoholism, a liver transplant, failed marriages, wife beating, financial ruin, and a very public threat of suicide on social media... and NOW you're locked down in a fucking nursing home.
And your idea of "help" is to plagiarize hundreds of leftist articles per day, posting them literally around the fucking clock because this blog IS YOUR LIFE.
It ain't him who needs "help" alky. Especially "help" from a professional mentally ill loser like you.
So Roger...
You don't believe the graph from the CDC?
Is that what you are saying?
NEW YORK (AP) — Three studies released Friday offered more evidence that COVID-19 vaccines are standing up to the omicron variant, at least among people who received booster shots.
They are the first large U.S. studies to look at vaccine protection against omicron, health officials said.
The papers echo previous research — including studies in Germany, South Africa and the U.K. — indicating available vaccines are less effective against omicron than earlier versions of the coronavirus, but also that boosters doses rev up virus-fighting antibodies to increase the chance of avoiding symptomatic infection.
The first study looked at hospitalizations and emergency room and urgent care center visits in 10 states, from August to this month.
It found vaccine effectiveness was best after three doses of the Pfizer or Moderna vaccines in preventing COVID-19-associated emergency department and urgent care visits. Protection dropped from 94% during the delta wave to 82% during the omicron wave. Protection from just two doses was lower, especially if six months had passed since the second dose.
The Associated Press Health & Science Department is not fake news or communist dominating scandal.
So Roger...
Apparently you don't understand the graph from the CDC, huh?
Since you just supplied a completely 100% irrelevant rebuttal.
I guess that is par for the course. The C+ student with an SAT 400 points lower than mine has no chance of keeping up.
Scott scientists fiction artist said this is a fucking scam

Alright Mr C+
You tell us what it means!
or shut the hell up.
The bottom line is the percentage of un injured people. Those a children under 12 years old.
So sorry about you...
I knew instantly that the dotted line was children.

Both bottom lines were children who are vaccine and were not vaccinated
The graphic showed that ages on the blue lines
From your link
These results demonstrate that vaccination protects against COVID-19 and related hospitalization, and that surviving a previous infection protects against a reinfection and related hospitalization. Importantly, infection-derived protection was higher after the Delta variant became predominant, a time when vaccine-induced immunity for many persons declined because of immune evasion and immunologic waning (2,5,6). Similar cohort data accounting for booster doses needs to be assessed, as new variants, including Omicron, circulate. Although the epidemiology of COVID-19 might change with the emergence of new variants, vaccination remains the safest strategy to prevent SARS-CoV-2 infections and associated complications; all eligible persons should be up to date with COVID-19 vaccination. Additional recommendations for vaccine doses might be warranted in the future as the virus and immunity levels change.
You are a terrible propagandist.
Before the Delta variant became predominant in each state’s U.S. Department of Health and Human Services region (June 26 in Region 9 [California] and July 3 in Region 2 [New York]),*** the highest incidence was among unvaccinated persons without a previous COVID-19 diagnosis; during this time, case rates were relatively low among the three groups with either previous infection or vaccination and were lowest among vaccinated persons without a previous COVID-19 diagnosis

I see why roger relies on copy/paste and not comprehension or explaining
So Roger...
Please explain how the cut and paste you offered in any way addresses (much less proves false) the graph that they have and data that shows that people who have been diagnosed with Covid (natural immunity) are hospitalized less than people who are vaccinated (and not been diagnosed with Covid).
I will give you a hint...
1) Click on the graph! It makes it bigger!
2) Look at the Graph Key/Legend at the bottom describing the four conditions that they are graphing
3) Notice how that bold dashed line representing the "vaccinated, no previous Covid diagnosis" is higher than the non-bold "unvaccinated, previous Covid diagnosis"
4) Then look to the Y-Axis (the left side where the numbers are) and notice that it represents the hazard rate of being hospitalized.
Then use your brain - understand that the bold dashed line showing a higher hazard rate means you are more likely to be hospitalized than the lighter dashed line.
I mean seriously Roger.
Do I have to explain this to you like you are a grade schooler?
Very curious why Roger believes this has something to do with children?
Roger is an imbecile.
The percentage of un immunized people are children who have not been vaccinated.
You used that to claim credit for understanding the graph.
But the numbers matter when analyzing data
You manipulated the information to fit to your own personal beliefs.
Doctor Scott Johnson schizophrenia said that this is a government fake scam to control everyone.
Unvaccinated adults age 65 or older who contracted the coronavirus were 49 times more likely to require hospitalization than seniors who had received booster vaccine doses, according to new data from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention.
Unimmunized adults in that age group were also 17 times more likely to be admitted to a hospital than those who had received either two shots of an mRNA vaccine or one Johnson & Johnson dose. Meanwhile, unvaccinated people between 50 and 64 years old were 44 times more likely to need hospitalization compared with their boosted counterparts.
The CDC figures on boosters, drawn from between October and December 2021, provide a real-world snapshot of the efficacy of commonly used vaccines in the United States. The European drug regulator also said Friday it was becoming “increasingly clear that a booster dose is needed to extend vaccine protection,” particularly against the omicron variant.
The percentage of un immunized people are children who have not been vaccinated. You used that to claim credit for understanding the graph.
I've made no reference to children, Roger.
More to the point, the graph is not mine. It's literally taken from the CDC website. Are you now accusing the CDC of manipulating data by not making reference to children under 5?
Lastly.. I can SEE ON THE GRAPH that early on in June that the bold dashed line was marginally lower (albeit almost identical) to the other two lines.
But after June you start to see the heavy dashed line (Vaccinated without Covid diagnosis) higher than the other two lines. Which is to say that you are "cherry picking" from a small portion of the graph while ignoring everything that has happened starting mid summer.
Again, Roger... not that hard. Open up the graph and look at it.
Oh... and for that under five age group? 266 deaths since the beginning. So suggesting that the numbers are skewed because children under 5 are unvaccinated is sort of silly.
I'm accustomed to people like you
I'm accustomed to people like you
You mean people who are smarter than you... of course. That is probably most of the people you run across.
Riddle me this Roger.
If you are sooooo smart.
Why on a thread talking about the difference between natural immunity and vaccinated immunity....
Are you bringing up hospitalization rates of people over the age of 65 orthe fact that children under 5 are not immunized?
It literally makes no sense...
SINCE THE GRAPH IN QUESTION IS INCLUSIVE TO OUR DEBATE!
It's like talking to a brick Wall.
I pretty much agree.
Nate Cohn: “One year into his presidency, no one is confusing Mr. Biden for Mr. Roosevelt. Not with his legislative agenda stalled and his approval rating mired in the low forties.”
“But the difference between the two Democrats isn’t merely the one between success and failure in the first year. Rather than following Mr. Roosevelt’s playbook and focusing relentlessly on the crises facing the nation and voters, Mr. Biden’s efforts have shifted from the pandemic and the economy to also pursue longstanding Democratic policy goals — universal prekindergarten, climate change, voting rights, a child tax credit.”
Most people are center right now...
But it looks like he's finally moving closer to center.
It's like talking to a brick Wall.
Well Roger....
One of us is staying on topic (me)
The other wants to morph the argument into something else (you).
Just like the Reverend. Whenever you lose an argument, you change the subject and then get upset because others don't want to follow you.
So you can try to change the subject to children, accuse me of making up the graph, talk about people over the age of 65... or whatever else you might want to bring up that has nothing to do with the debate.
And yeah... you will hit a brick wall. Like a crash test dummy.
Why would anyone follow you into that wall?
When I asked you about it and
The question in question won't cut any ice with those who are cultists. After all, "You cannot reason a man out of a position he has not reasoned himself into. But with the more open-minded majority, like the Democrats and myself have. That's why you support voter suppression legislation.
I'm waiting my time arguing with you Scott.
And ignored scientists.
But with the more open-minded majority, like the Democrats and myself have. That's why you support voter suppression legislation.
I'm waiting my time arguing with you Scott.
Sure Roger... whatever word salad you say!
After all, you still think Biden is doing a splendid job and that Trump is trying to steal the next election. How open minded of you!
I guess Ch is so "open minded" he does not think any of this actually happened.
Pressure Grows to Investigate Fake Electors Plot
January 21, 2022 at 9:24 pm EST By Taegan Goddard 12 Comments
* “Law enforcement officials,
* members of Congress and
* the House committee investigating the Jan. 6 attack on the Capitol
*are digging deeper into the role that
*fake slates of electors
played in efforts by former President Donald Trump to cling to power
after he lost the 2020 election,” the New York Times reports.
“In recent days,
the state attorneys general in Michigan
and New Mexico
have asked the Justice Department to investigate fake slates of electors that falsely claimed that Mr. Trump, not Joe Biden, had won their states.”
But I GUESS THAT CANNOT BE CALLED SEDITIOUS, JUST GOOD CLEAN FUN.
It was an attempted coup. Because the electoral college votes were not an to be counted, on January 6th, and he would still be The President.
A draft of an executive order prepared for then-President Donald Trump and obtained Friday by Politico would have authorized the secretary of defense to send National Guard troops to seize voting machines around the country in the weeks following the 2020 election.
The order, which was never signed by Trump, also would have appointed a special counsel "to institute all criminal and civil proceedings as appropriate based on the evidence collected," and calls on the defense secretary to release an assessment 60 days after the action started, which would have been well after Trump was set to leave office on Jan. 20, 2021.
Unless the Republicans in Congress would have impeached and convicted by the Senate, he would be the President of the United today.
Yes, Trump is trying to steal the next election.
And you support him.

Repeating a claim debunked a year ago, the former liar in chief insisted again this week that Speaker of the House Nancy Pelosi (D-Calif.) had rejected the help of the National Guard last Jan. 6.
Fox News host Sean Hannity asked the former president Thursday night if he had “authorized” the Guard to protect the Capitol building “in the lead-up” to Jan. 6, 2021. Trump responded: “One hundred percent, and attested to by many people. And they turned it down … Nancy Pelosi turned it down ... and she’s in charge of the Capitol.”
There would have been “no problem whatsoever, but they turned it down, which tells you everything,” Trump claimed, also referring to Washington, D.C., Mayor Muriel Bowser. “If not for those Democrats ... you would not have had any problem. It would have just been absolutely a lovely day.”
Trump did nothing to help for 187 minutes as he watched the violence unfold on TV in the White House, the Jan. 6 House Select Committee investigating the attack has said, citing firsthand testimony.
According to a Pentagon report about what transpired that day, as rioters called for Vice President Mike Pence to be hanged, Pence himself made an urgent call for help to acting Defense Secretary Christopher Miller, pleading: “Clear the Capitol!”
Pelosi and Senate Majority Leader Chuck Schumer (D-N.Y.) also desperately pleaded in a phone call with military leaders to deploy the National Guard as lawmakers hid for their lives from the marauding mob, the Pentagon report said. “We need help!” Schumer reportedly said.
Trump, meanwhile, ignored pleas to tell his supporters to stand down, including from daughter Ivanka Trump, according to testimony before the Jan. 6 committee.
Only after three hours had passed did President Trump finally ask the mob to go home, still baselessly claiming the election was fraudulent and telling them: “We know your pain ... we love you; you’re very special.” Ch evacuated
Discrediting immunization vaccine injections is manslaughter.
You can still get infected after getting the vaccine,, but if you were immunized before getting infected again the odds of survival are up to 99% depending upon other factors
The congressional panel investigating the insurrection at the Capitol last Jan. 6 wants to hold televised hearings of testimony that would be broadcast on primetime television. Rep. Bennie Thompson, the chairman of the House committee, told Bloomberg News that such hearings would give the public the “best opportunity” to hear the testimony for themselves. “The public needs to know, needs to hear from people under oath about what led up to Jan. 6th, and to some degree, what has continued after Jan. 6,” Thompson was quoted saying in a Tuesday interview, adding that “maybe a series of hearings” would be held. The details are still being worked out, with members of the committee looking at March or April for when the hearings would begin. Axios reports that the hearings are also seen as a way for the committee to counteract the false narrative pushed by Donald Trump and other election truthers that the investigation is unfairly targeting the former president and his allies like S. Scott Johnson schizophrenia, over what they claim was largely a peaceful protest spun out of control by a few bad seeds.

Booster shots of the Pfizer-BioNTech and Moderna vaccines are not just reducing the number of infections with the highly contagious Omicron variant, they’re also keeping infected Americans out of hospitals, according to data published on Friday by the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention.
The extra doses are 90 percent effective at preventing hospitalization with the variant, the agency reported. Booster shots also reduce the likelihood of a visit to an emergency department or urgent care clinic. The data also showed that extra doses are most beneficial against infection and death among Americans ages 50 and older.
Over all, the new research indicates that the vaccines are more protective against the Delta variant than against Omicron, which lab studies have found is partially able to sidestep the body’s immune response.
https://www.nytimes.com/2022/01/21/health/covid-boosters-cdc-omicron.html
Booster doses provided much larger gains in protection among people ages 65 and older, followed by those ages 50 to 64, the study found. The researchers did not offer data on the benefits of the shots in younger people.
In the third study, published in the journal JAMA, data from more than 70,000 people who sought testing showed that a third dose provided more protection against symptomatic infection than two doses or none. Full vaccination and boosters were less protective against the Omicron variant than against Delta.
On Thursday night, the C.D.C. published additional data on its website showing that in December, unvaccinated Americans 50 years and older were about 45 times more likely to be hospitalized than those who were vaccinated and got a third dose.
Together, the studies make a powerful case that boosters are a valuable defense against Omicron. Yet less than 40 percent of fully vaccinated Americans who are eligible for a booster shot have received one.
It’s too soon to know whether protection from the extra shots might wane, noted Natalie Dean, a biostatistician at Emory University.
“We just have to recognize that all these estimates of Omicron third-dose protection are going to be people who are pretty recently boosted,” she said.
The Coronavirus Pandemic: Key Things to Know
Omicron in retreat. Though the U.S. is still facing overwhelmed hospitals and nearly 2,000 Covid-19 deaths a day, encouraging signs are emerging. New cases are plummeting in several parts of the country, and recent studies of wastewater are helping scientists learn more about the Omicron variant.
Free tests and masks. The Biden administration’s new website allowing each U.S. household to order up to four free at-home tests is live. The White House also announced that it would make 400 million N95 masks available free of charge at health centers and pharmacies across the U.S.
Around the world. Austria is nearing the approval of a vaccine mandate for almost all adults, putting it on the path to be the first European country with such a wide-reaching mandate. In France, where a presidential election looms in April, officials set a timeline to lift restrictions over the next few weeks.
Staying safe. Worried about spreading Covid? Keep yourself and others safe by following some basic guidance on when to test, which mask to pick and how to use at-home virus tests. Here is what to do if you test positive for the coronavirus.
The C.D.C. now recommends booster shots for everyone 12 years and older, five months after getting two doses of the mRNA vaccines made by Pfizer-BioNTech and Moderna, or two months after a single dose of the Johnson & Johnson vaccine.
Scott wants people to die to make his point.

NO DOUBT IN MY MIND HE'D RUN THEM OVER AND BACK UP !!!!!!!! I bet the slurpers will think he would take a bullet fo his kids.......!!!!!! BWAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA!!!!!
But when you dig a little further, it shows that there is almost no difference between some who is fully vaccinated and has a previous Covid diagnosis and one who is unvaccinated and has had a previous Covid diagnosis
But when you dig a little further, you will discover our LIl Schitty can't find his own ass in the dark!!!!!! Poll reveals many Democrats wish to repeal natural law, imprison fellow citizens
By Eric Utter
A poll conducted jointly by the Heartland Institute and Rasmussen Reports surveyed 1,016 "likely voters" in the United States on January 5. The poll revealed...that a large percentage of Democrat voters would have made excellent Germans circa the 1930s and 1940s. Specifically, it revealed that 59% of likely Democratic voters want the government to enact a policy mandating that unvaccinated Americans be confined to their homes at all times, except for emergencies. (Conversely, 79% of Republicans and 71% of unaffiliated voters oppose such draconian punitive measures.)
Moreover, 45% of Democrats called for the government to round up citizens who are not vaccinated against COVID-19 and force them into "designated facilities." (These same people, I'm certain, are — or would be — appalled at FDR rounding up Japanese-Americans and placing them in "designated facilities" during World War II.) An even higher percentage of voters who have a "very favorable" opinion of President Biden were in favor of putting unvaccinated Americans into COVID camps. Interestingly, the same measure was opposed by 71% of all voters surveyed and 95% of those who have a "very unfavorable" impression of Biden.

While more and more comes out about Trumps quest to remain in power.....now fake electors in Biden states are rearing the ugly reality on how much the GOP of trump tried to keep that fat assed lying sack of shit in power!!!!!!!!

WASHINGTON — Law enforcement officials, members of Congress and the House committee investigating the Jan. 6 attack on the Capitol are digging deeper into the role that fake slates of electors played in efforts by former President Donald J. Trump to cling to power after he lost the 2020 election.
In recent days, the state attorneys general in Michigan and New Mexico have asked the Justice Department to investigate fake slates of electors that falsely claimed that Mr. Trump, not Joseph R. Biden Jr., had won their states. Representative Mark Pocan, Democrat of Wisconsin, wrote to Attorney General Merrick B. Garland on Friday demanding an investigation into the same issue in his state.
And this week, members of the House committee scrutinizing the Jan. 6 riot said that they, too, were examining the part that the bogus electoral slates played in Mr. Trump’s scheme to overturn the election.
“We want to look at the fraudulent activity that was contained in the preparation of these fake Electoral College certificates, and then we want to look to see to what extent this was part of a comprehensive plan to overthrow the 2020 election,” Representative Jamie Raskin, Democrat of Maryland and a member of the committee, told reporters on Capitol Hill.
“There’s no doubt that those people were engaged in a constitutional fraud on the public and on the democracy,” he added in a separate interview, referring to the bogus electors.
The false slates, put forth in seven contested swing states, appear to have been part of a strategy by Mr. Trump’s allies to disrupt the normal workings of the Electoral College. After election officials in those states sent official lists of electors who had voted for Mr. Biden to the Electoral College, the fake slates claimed that Mr. Trump had won.

An apt comparison consider the testing of the "vaccines" can be measured in days, not years, and the "vaccine" manufacturers have been granted immunity from liability, and a 75 year blackout of FOIA requests for their "data."

Scott has been remarkable silent on since has been on since DeSantis is trying to set himself apart from Trump by pandering to anti-vaxxers.
Chait wrote, “It is telling that of the many failings DeSantis could cite by Trump, he is seizing on the former president’s initial willingness to do anything at all about the pandemic…. DeSantis may or may not actually be more delusional on COVID than Donald Trump, but it is a revealing commentary on the state of their party that he sees his best chance to supplant Trump as positioning himself as even crazier.”
It remains to be seen whether or not Trump will run for president in 2024, or whether or not DeSantis will.
“DeSantis has not said whether he plans to run for president in 2024, but is considered a likely contender,” Klein observes. “And unlike other Trump disciples, he has not said that he won’t run if Trump does.”

Neil Sedaka said it best – “breaking up is hard to do”. Ask any 16-year-old and they’ll tell you that’s certainly true, but Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene (R-GA) recently made headlines when she suggested not just a breakup, but a “National Divorce” on social media. Of course, there was the typical incoherent shrieking and pearl clutching from progressives, neoconservatives, and other lizard-people, but there was also general acknowledgement from many regular folks that a “National Divorce” may be the only long-term solution.
We Need to Talk…
It should go without saying that our current political arrangement is not working. 2020 saw not just the Covid-19 insanity, but political violence where people were literally shooting each other in the street. Add to that the disturbing new polling data that revealed 48% of Democrats support “quarantine camps” for those who won’t take the recommended “medical interventions” and it seems like the only solution is to exit this abusive relationship.
But the focus on a national divorce perpetuates the same folly that has plagued libertarians and our allies on the right for years: focusing on the national to the exclusion of the state and local. The title of “county executive” may not be as sexy as “President of the United States”, but if the past 22 months have taught us anything, it is that these local offices matter insofar as they can determine how “normal” and free your day-to-day life is. Rather than talking strictly of a national divorce, we should be advocating small-scale secession as well.
Counties leaving their current states and cities leaving their current counties to join neighboring areas that more closely align with their politics should be a part of popular political discourse. Often the biggest barrier secession movements face is the widely held (albeit ludicrous) belief that our current set of lines on a map are sacred and must be preserved, and anyone who would change these lines in any way just pines for the good ‘ole days when they could own other people as property.
Secession in the Empire State
New York state has always been ripe for secession movements. Extreme political division between Downstate (“the city”) and Upstate (not “the city”) have prompted several movements aiming to split the Empire State in two. The secessionist movement of 1969 saw New Yorkers unhappy that upstate had so much control over their politics at the state level and proposed that New York City become the 51st state. 2003 and 2008 saw similar pushes from downstate citing “paying more than they receive” in taxes.
Talk of separation didn’t stop there. In 2015, the push for breaking up was led by Upstate, rural and red, against Downstate, urban and blue. Upstate has not been represented in state level politics for some time – the S.A.F.E. Act (a slew of draconian gun control laws) passed in 2013, and in 2014 Governor Cuomo banned hydrofracking (an important industry for upstaters).
Upstate New York is also burdened by the absurd regulatory schema implemented and maintained by downstate voters and politicians – case and point, these people are talking about banning gas powered lawn equipment for God’s sake. Many upstaters blame the region’s decaying economy on these regulations.
In other words, upstate New Yorkers are being governed by urban elites – people who not only have completely different values and worldviews but look upon them with disdain and derision.
This should sound familiar to you. The situation in New York is eerily similar to that of the United States as a whole. Comparing the electoral map of the 2020 presidential election and the 2018 New York gubernatorial election (both victories for the ‘Dems) make this abundantly clear – big cities dictate policy to the detriment of everyone else.
Break up New York State
You're a dumb fuck, Alky Marx.
The break up of NYS into upstate and downstate has been raging here sing I was a child. Considering how upstate get's treated vs. downstate, the argument has legitimacy at several levels. None of which you would understand.
And it's why I'm leaving NYS upon the demise of of my last aging relative, currently 85, and unlike you, they remain living independently in their very own mortgage-free home, and they drive themselves to the market every fucking day.
I'll be shopping for raw land in NH this summer alky. 5 - 10 acres upon which to build a small house and a separate shop (think Morton/Butler building), making the trip in my Mustang GT convertible. With the top down of course.
NY, like CA, is descending into third-world shithole status. NYC just granted the right to vote in city elections to illegals. That's 800,000 ballots that will be counted but should not be. I expect THAT to be adopted at the state level. Over 40% of all NY'ers are on Medicaid. When that numbers crests 51% we'll be fucked. Last year 320,000 FLED the state because they can see what's coming.
Alky, you're an idiot at so many levels I've lost count. You're a captive in a facility, and your only retort is to break Godwin's law.
sing = since

Funny for months Roger has been telling us Trump base is anti-vaxxers and now he's saying anti-vaxxers are not Trumps base. So which is it.
And I don't see where DeSantis is pandering to "anti-vaxxers".
DeSantis is up for re-election as Florida's governor the odds are overwhelming that he will win re-election running away. (The DNC already has pulled the money out of the state.)
After the election DeSantis will reevaluate his chances and if Trump is still the overriding favorite among the GOP base, he'll finish off his term and look to 2028.
Otherwise, it's game on. Hopefully, Trump will not run in favor of DeSantis but it's not in Trump's ego to quit. However if you ever wanted to see an institution go full bore against an individual just watch what the media does in the months leading to the election.
Remember when Ch said that the pandemic is ending?
Even the MSM agrees.
COVID-19 will continue but the end of the pandemic is near

The world is experiencing a huge wave of infection with the omicron variant of SARS-CoV-2. Estimates based on Institute for Health Metrics and Evaluation (IHME) models
1
suggest that on around Jan 17, 2022 there were 125 million omicron infections a day in the world, which is more than ten times the peak of the delta wave in April, 2021.
1
The omicron wave is inexorably reaching every continent with only a few countries in eastern Europe, North Africa, southeast Asia, and Oceania yet to start their wave of this SARS-CoV-2 variant.
1
,
2
The unprecedented level of infection suggests that more than 50% of the world will have been infected with omicron between the end of November, 2021 and the end of March, 2022.
1
Although IHME models suggest that global daily SARS-CoV-2 infections have increased by more than 30 times from the end of November, 2021 to Jan 17, 2022, reported COVID-19 cases in this period have only increased by six times.
1
,
2
Because the proportion of cases that are asymptomatic or mild has increased compared with previous SARS-CoV-2 variants,
the global infection-detection rate has declined globally from 20% to 5%.
1
Understanding the burden of omicron depends crucially on the proportion of asymptomatic infections. A systematic review based on previous SARS-CoV-2 variants suggested that 40% of infections were asymptomatic.
Evidence suggests that the proportion of asymptomatic infections is much higher for omicron, perhaps as high as 80–90%. Garrett and colleagues found that among 230 individuals in South Africa enrolling in a clinical trial, 71 (31%) were PCR positive for SARS-CoV-2 and had the omicron variant and no symptoms.
Assuming this prevalence of infection was representative of the population, the implied incidence compared to detected cases suggests that more than 90% of infections were asymptomatic in South Africa. The UK Office for National Statistics (ONS) infection survey estimated a point prevalence of PCR positive SARS-CoV-2 infection of 6·85% for England on Jan 6, 2022.
Hospital admission prescreening of individuals without COVID-19 symptoms in the University of Washington Medical Center in Seattle, WA, USA, did not exceed 2% throughout the COVID-19 pandemic but exceeded 10% in the week of Jan 10, 2022 (Murray CJL, unpublished). In addition to the much larger proportion of asymptomatic infections, in the USA the ratio of COVID-19 hospitalisations to detected cases hospitalised has declined by about 50% in most states compared with previous peaks.
2
The proportion of COVID-19 patients in hospital who require intubation or are dying has declined by as much as 80–90% in Canada and South Africa.
