If you throw your peas again you will get a fourth dose!

Fauci and CDC want to immunize two year olds... thrice!

We will be implementing strict vaccine passport rules for playgrounds and sandboxes!

Not to do this math thing and confuse the lily white liberals with numbers, but we are now two years into this pandemic and less than 80 children between 1-4 have passed from Covid. That number is a fraction of the children that age that will die from the flu or pneumonia.

Moreover that is approximately three deaths per month nationally and less than two deaths per state since the pandemic started. Think of everything that can kill a toddler and then figure that less than one per state per year will die of Covid. While every death of a child is tragic, this doesn't seem like much of a crisis.

But we will be vaccinating an whole generation of children with a vaccine that has not been tested much (if any) on children to this point according to most in the know. We do know currently that the list of possible side effects could take one of those fast talkers about half the commercial if we were advertising it on television. Yet we are putting this into our toddlers without any concept of the consequences either short or long term.

At the end of the day are just flying by the seat of our pants and doubling down on the only solution that our Government experts apparently understand. Vaccines. Until money can be made hand over fist from the new Pfizer Covid pill, we will just continue to push the Pfizer and Moderna vaccines.

Let me repeat

Less than one child between 1-4 per year per state has died of Covid.

What are we "protecting" them from?

Thousands of children die every year in motor vehicle crashes, suffocation, drowning, firearms and cancer. Hundreds die every year from drug overdoses or poisoning, heart disease, fires, and other health issues.

I don't see the CDC mandating that Parents change any of the behaviors that lead to actual tangible amounts of deaths? Why something that kills less than 40 toddlers a year?

President Biden is leading former President Trump and Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis (R) in two hypothetical, head-to-head match-ups for the 2024 presidential election, according to a new poll.

The survey, conducted by Marquette Law School, found that 43 percent of adults nationwide would support Biden if the 2024 presidential election were held today, while 33 percent would vote for Trump in a one-on-one match-up.

Sixteen percent said they would choose a different candidate, while 6 percent said they would not vote.

In a hypothetical race against DeSantis, however, Biden polls slightly worse: 41 percent of adults nationwide said they would throw their support behind Biden, while 33 percent would support DeSantis.

Eighteen percent of respondents said they would vote for a different candidate, and 8 percent said they would not cast a ballot.

Only 29 percent of those polled said they want to see Trump run for president again in 2024, while 71 percent said they did not want to see him seek a second term.

The polling comes as tensions between Trump and DeSantis are stewing amid a possibility that the two GOP figures could face off against one another in a Republican primary to lead the ticket in 2024.

Trump has been grumbling behind the scenes for months regarding DeSantis's rise in the party. Recent media reports have taken a microscope to the relationship between the two GOP leaders, one that has been characterized as confrontational and marked by private but personal attacks.

The former president appeared to knock DeSantis earlier this month for refusing to disclose if he has received his COVID-19 booster shot. Trump, during an interview, criticized "gutless" politicians who will not reveal their booster shot status.

Biden Leads Both Trump and DeSantis In Wisconsin
January 27, 2022 at 12:30 pm EST By Taegan Goddard 8 Comments

A new Marquette Law School Poll in Wisconsin finds that Gov. Ron DeSantis (R) and former President Donald Trump run equally well against President Biden in hypothetical 2024 matchups, although Biden leads both Republicans.

In a head-to-head matchup,
DeSantis is supported by 33%,
while Biden is supported by 41%.
A substantial 18% say they would support someone else,
and 8% say they would not vote.

In a Trump versus Biden rematch,
Trump receives 33%
to Biden’s 43%,
with 16% preferring someone else
and 6% saying they would not vote.

C.H. Truth said...

Did Ch pick the ages 1-4 because less than 80 sounds a lot better than less than 800?

The story out there is that the CDC is now recommending vaccinations down to two year olds Reverend (or at least set to make the recommendation).

So the ages of 1-4 is way more relevant to whether or not a two year old should be forced to take a vaccine than the 0-18 numbers. There is a ton of development and other differences between a two year old and a fifteen year old that would make them completely different in this situation.

So it would have been completely DISHONEST of me to use a wider range of numbers, rather than using the most ACCURATE data that most closely represents the concept of a two year old being vaccinated. The most closely paralleled data for a two year old is not 0-18 - but rather 1-4.

Somehow I just am not certain you will still understand why or ever admit that you do.

Fauci says he hopes FDA will authorize Pfizer’s Covid vaccine for kids under 5 in the next month

PUBLISHED WED, JAN 19 20225:10 PM EST UPDATED FRI, JAN 21 202210:36 AM EST

Reuters
White House chief medical advisor Dr. Anthony Fauci on Wednesday said he hopes the Food and Drug Administration approves Pfizer and BioNTech’s vaccine for children under 5 years old in the next month.

“My hope is that it’s going to be within the next month or so and not much later than that, but I can’t guarantee that,” Fauci said during an interview with Blue Star Families, a nonprofit group that supports military families. “I can’t out guess the FDA. I’m going to have to leave that to them.”

Fauci said younger children will likely need three doses, because two shots did not induce an adequate immune response in 2- to 4-year-olds in Pfizer’s clinical trials.

Pfizer plans to submit data to the Food and Drug Administration in the first half of 2022 if the three-dose study proves successful, the company announced in December. Pfizer said it did not identify any safety concerns with the 3-microgram vaccine doses in children 6 months to 4 years old. Adults receive two doses of 30 micrograms apiece as part of their primary series of shots.

Fauci later sent CNBC a statement clarifying that he’s not involved in the decision making process at the FDA and didn’t know when the agency will clear the shots.

“I did not at all mean to imply that the authorization would come within a month,” Fauci said in an emailed statement. “I meant that we do not know ... I am not involved in that decision.”

Children under 5 are particularly vulnerable right now because they are the only age group that is not currently eligible for vaccination. Hospitalizations of children with Covid are rising as the highly contagious omicron variant has rapidly spread through communities across the U.S. over the past month.

SO THERE YOU HAVE AN ARTICLE OFFERING GREATER CLARITY. HOW DOES IT COMPARE WITH WHAT CH SAID?

ABC News anchor Cheyenne Haslett inquired as follows:

“For Dr. Fauci, I had a question for you, if you could talk a little bit about this next age group waiting for vaccines — kids four and younger — any updates on when we will hear from Pfizer on data? I think you talked about that coming next month or so. And if you could, clarify if this would be for a two-dose or three-dose vaccine, which is expected to be sufficient.”

According to Anthony, third time’s a charm:

“In the original data that was put forth, it looked like the dose and the regimen for the children who were 6 months to 24 months worked well, but it turned out that the…group from 24 months to 4 years did not yet reach the level of non-inferiority. So the studies are continued. It looks like it will be a three-dose regimen.”

You are correct. I was wrong. It's not two doses that they are looking at for 2-4 year olds, it's three.

Nope... that article actually doesn't change ANYTHING.

There is still less than one death per state per year for children between the ages of 1-4 and there has still been less than 80 deaths reported so far.

The statement:

Children under 5 are particularly vulnerable right now because they are the only age group that is not currently eligible for vaccination. Hospitalizations of children with Covid are rising as the highly contagious omicron variant has rapidly spread through communities across the U.S. over the past month.

Is nonsensical because it claims that children under 5 are vulnerable right now but does not specifically tell us what age group they refer to when they say "hospitalizations of children". Are those children 0-18 or actually 2-4? I would guess that the person writing this has NO SPECIFIC DATA on the 2-4 age group. Just tossing around scare tactics.

But it does show how easy it is for someone to influence your opinion with their own opinion, Reverend.

Was the approval of Clarence Thomas in spite of his highly questionable treatment of a woman and his lack of qualification in judicial matters a blatant act of racism and sexism?

It would be fair to state that there were "allegations" from Anita Hill and two other women who refused to testify that said at one time that they backed Hill's testimony. The testimony from Hill suggested sexually provocative statements were made at one time but had then ceased.

Several other women testified that Thomas was as straight laced as they come and demanded decorum from everyone around them. The allegations they say were way out of sync with Thomas as they knew him and most suggested that they simply did not believe Hill in any manner shape or form.

It was also a problem that Hill never said anything until after he was nominated and also followed him to new jobs "after" the alleged incidents of sexually provocative statements were made.

At the end of the day, Reverend...

People accuse you of being a child molester and accuse Roger of beating up minority women. Is it your assertion that allegations alone make someone what they are alleged to be?

Or are you once again hypocritically treating some allegations differently than others?

Of course nobody will admit that this was at least in part because Thomas (a conservative) was replacing William Brennan (a very liberal justice).

After the Great Recession of 2008-09,under Obama the economic stimulus was weak and we never came close to getting back on our previous growth path.

The pandemic recession was just the opposite. We poured stimulus money into the economy and we're now within a hair's breadth of getting back to our previous growth path because President Biden understands how it actually works.

This may end up costing us a year of moderately high inflation. Maybe. But even if it does, surely it was worth it!!!!!!!!

Coldheartedtruth Teller said...

Because.

Justice Stephen Breyer's upcoming retirement from the Supreme Court was reported late Wednesday morning, and by Wednesday night, Fox News and other right-wing outlets already had their narrative: President Joe Biden's new nominee is proof that a white man can't catch a break in the U.S. of A.

Of the 115 justices that have sat on the Supreme Court, 0 have been Black women, but 107 of them have been white men. Nonetheless, GOP media swiftly circled around the claim that this nominee — whoever they may be — is proof that white men are the real victims of discrimination. One of those white men confirmed to the court — Justice Brett Kavanaugh — now is one of the most powerful people in the country. Still, he was held out as even further proof that white men are the most victimized of all victims.

And because Clarence Thomas in spite of his highly questionable treatment of a woman and his lack of qualification in judicial matters a blatant act of racism and sexism!

www.statista.com/statistics/269959/employment-in-the-united-states/

The American unemployment rate has seen its ups and downs over the last decades; recovery from an alarming increase in unemployment during the financial crisis in 2009 and the Great Recession fueled by job loss and bankruptcies could only recently be declared, after the Obama administration focused on job creation from 2010 on. Since then, unemployment has been on a downward trend while employment figures are steadily increasing.
The Great Inherited Recession
The financial crisis happened under President Bush, when the housing market bubble in the United States burst and caused a global banking crisis. Millions of Americans lost their homes and their jobs and thus their source of income. Since the economy usually takes a few years to react to and recover from such a crisis, the United States suffered the consequences for several years. Key economic indicators, like the unemployment rate or the inflation rate, did not recover fully until 2016, meaning that remnants of the crisis were inherited by the next sitting U.S. President, Barack Obama. In the same vein, current U.S. President, Donald Trump, now benefits from the Obama job creation initiative, since unemployment today is historically low.

Joe Biden is sworn in as president on Jan. 20, 2021. (Andrew Harnik/Pool via Reuters)
Despite a mountain of evidence showing the 2020 presidential contest wasn’t rigged against Donald Trump, nearly 6 in 10 Republicans and Republican-leaning independents (57 percent) now say they will not vote in upcoming elections for any candidate who admits that Joe Biden won the presidency "fair and square."

Only 17 percent say they would consider voting for a candidate who accurately characterizes Biden’s victory as legitimate.

These numbers underscore the degree to which Trump’s “big lie” claiming Biden cheated his way into the White House — a falsehood that three-quarters of Trump voters (74 percent) now believe — has become a litmus test for the entire GOP, crowding out other issues and strengthening Trump’s grip on the party ahead of the 2022 midterms.

7: The mayor of Boston said his city will be a sanctuary for those who have lived and worked here and raised their families and paid taxes, back to their home country. Ronald Reagan gave sanctuary to millions. Trump wants to toss them out, and leave their families in a lurch.

A little background on the Doctor that the GOP blames for trumps failure!!!!!

He has not had a day off since the beginning. “I would say I’m in a state of chronic exhaustion.” He quickly adds: “But it’s not exhaustion that’s interfering with my function.” He is a precise man whose tour in the information war has made him extra-vigilant about his words. “I can just see, you know, Laura Ingraham: ‘He’s exhausted! Get rid of him!’”
Fauci has been a doctor and public servant for more than 50 years. He’s been the country’s top expert on infectious diseases under seven U.S. presidents. George H.W. Bush once called him his personal hero. Under George W. Bush, Fauci became an architect of an AIDS-relief program that has, according to the U.S. government, saved 21 million lives around the world.

More about Fauci which is spot on for those who have a brain.....which excludes the slurpers here!!!!!

“There is no truth,” Fauci says, for effect. “There is no fact.” People believe hydroxychloroquine works because an Internet charlatan claims it does. People believe the 2020 election was stolen because a former president says so. People believe that Fauci killed millions of people for the good of his stock portfolio because it’s implied by TV pundits, Internet trolls and even elected leaders. Fauci is unnerved by “the almost incomprehensible culture of lies” that has spread among the populace, infected major organs of the government, manifested as ghastly threats against him and his family. His office staff, normally focused on communicating science to the public, has been conscripted into skirmishes over conspiracy theories and misinformation.
“It is very, very upending to live through this,” Fauci says, seated at his kitchen table in the midwinter light. He pauses. “I’m trying to get the right word for it.” He is examining himself now, at 81, in the shadow of the past two years. “It has shaken me a bit.”

Pandemic tensions deepen in Florida as DeSantis digs in
Alexander Nazaryan
Alexander Nazaryan·Senior White House Correspondent
Thu, January 27, 2022, 2:28 PM

The Omicron wave appears to have crested in Florida, but you wouldn’t know it from the acrimonious battles Florida politicians have been fighting over the pandemic. Gov. Ron DeSantis this week lashed out at Washington, and Democratic lawmakers protested the confirmation of Florida Surgeon General Joseph Ladapo, who has expressed skepticism over vaccines and masks.

Few states have received as much scrutiny throughout the pandemic as Florida, where DeSantis has rejected many of the safety measures recommended by health officials while also downplaying the efficacy of vaccines. That has made him a favorite of conservatives while leading some to question whether he is doing enough to keep Floridians safe.

The moment is politically perilous for DeSantis, who is expected to seek the Republican nomination for the presidency in 2024. He also faces reelection in November, and though he is expected to win easily, his opponents have not been shy about voicing their frustrations, in particular about how he has handled the Omicron surge.

“He just doesn’t care about us,” went the headline of a Miami Herald editorial published on Wednesday afternoon, after another day in which Florida seemed to serve as an all-too-perfect microcosm of how relentlessly politicized the pandemic has become.

DeSantis has spent the week charging the Biden administration with withholding monoclonal antibody treatments developed by Regeneron, despite the fact that those treatments do not work against the Omicron variant of the coronavirus. That variant accounts for virtually all cases in Florida and across the United States.

Doctors affiliated with the Committee to Protect Health Care held a virtual press conference on Wednesday to denounce the governor’s singular focus on Regeneron. They noted that other, more effective treatments are available and that vaccines — whose efficacy and importance DeSantis has downplayed — are remarkably effective at preventing COVID-19 illness in the first place.

“DeSantis lacks intellectual flexibility," said Dr. Frederick Southwick, an infectious disease specialist at the University of Florida. “He is trying to score political points at the expense of patient care.”

In a head-to-head matchup,
DeSantis is supported by 33%,
while Biden is supported by 41%.
A substantial 18% say they would support someone else,
and 8% say they would not vote.

In a Trump versus Biden rematch,
Trump receives 33%

with 16% preferring someone else
and 6% saying they would not vote.

Scott Johnson MD said...

I have been investigating and writing about this topic since June, when I spoke with the lead scientist who produced the seminal Israeli report, which confirmed an alarming rate of the condition of as high as one in 3,000 in young males following vaccination. (The finding buttressed a number of earlier disparate reports in the United States.)

Since then I have reviewed dozens of datasets and studies, and I’ve spoken with epidemiologists, pediatric immunologists, and infectious diseases specialists. If you listen to what these experts say, if you read the largely overlooked documents, and if you actually look closely at the primary data from the CDC and Pfizer, you will find a story of American health agencies’ misleading communications and a myopic policy agenda sometimes at odds with science.

America is an outlier regarding its vaccine policy for young people. Numerous other countries have taken a far more conservative approach. The UK allows a third dose only for 12 to 15-year-olds who have serious medical conditions that put them at high risk or who live with a vulnerable person. Finland has a similar policy for 12 to 17-year-olds. In Ireland no one under 16 can receive a booster. Denmark, Sweden, Japan, and Spain, are among the countries that have approved boosters for adults only. Some countries don’t recommend Covid vaccines for healthy children at all, or just one dose. Norway’s Institute of Public Health, for example, states: “12-15-year-olds already have high protection against a severe disease course after the first vaccine dose.”

Many countries also recognize previous Covid infection—what’s sometimes referred to as “natural immunity”—as the equivalent of at least one dose of vaccine. The U.S. does not. This is significant because the CDC estimates that as of September, well before the Omicron wave, more than 35% of children already had Covid.

Just as official U.S. policy is out of step with much of the West on the cadence of the first two doses for children and on the question of natural immunity, our country is also out of step when it comes to pediatric boosters. That’s why a number of American experts, including some on the FDA’s own advisory committee, have challenged the wisdom of our policy. They have cited both a lack of evidence of boosters’ effectiveness in children and their potential—even if low—for harm.

Monica Gandhi, a doctor and an infectious-disease specialist at the University of California, San Francisco, was blunt in her assessment. “I am not giving my 12 and 14-year-old boys boosters,” she told me.

Dr. Gandhi is not the only expert to publicly state an intention to not comply with the CDC’s recommendation. Dr. Paul Offit is the director of the Vaccine Education Center at Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia, a member of the FDA’s vaccine advisory committee, and is considered one the country’s top authorities on pediatric vaccine policy. He recently said that getting boosted would not be worth the risk for the average healthy 17-year-old boy, and he advised his son, who is in his 20s, not to get a third dose.

Just last week, the WHO’s Chief Scientist, Dr. Soumya Swaminathan, said: “There is no evidence that healthy children or healthy adolescents need boosters. No evidence at all.”

And yet, despite the fact that so many other countries are taking a more cautious path; despite the fact that leading American experts are warning against this policy; and despite the recent comments by the WHO’s chief scientist, the CDC and FDA have ignored all of this and gone full steam ahead.
