The allegation is corroborated by video evidence and testimony from a witness who claims he was paid for ballots.
So we are talking tens of thousands if not hundreds of thousands of ballots that were fraudulently and illegally harvested by operatives. Not just in the general election, but also in the run-offs. Explains the massive and unprecedented runoff turnout on the left.
Now we could argue that every one of those ballots came from someone who "wanted" to vote, but that is far beyond the point. One person, one vote. You can go out and register people. You can knock doors encouraging voting. But the second you ask someone to fill out a ballot that you take with you, you have become a criminal. Not sure about Georgia, but in some states, ballot harvesting is a felony. The reason is that most ballot harvesters are not good samaritans looking to help voters. They are targeting people who are voting how they want them to vote or otherwise convincing people to vote the way they want them to vote and then dropping off the ballot. These people were filling up these drop boxes with nothing other than Party line Democratic votes. That is a given.
Interestingly, this isn't the first time this was alleged. Brian Kemp (for reasons unknown) had refused to even "allow" an investigation when this first came to light several months ago. But rather than give up, those investigating kept working. Now that there is a whistleblower involved who can confirm much of the scheme and appears to be talking, it has become hard to ignore.
I think for some of these politicians from states where fraud was alleged, they feel as if their own judgement and competency was called into question (which of course it was). Rather than push for transparency and look for the truth, they decide instead to protect their own reputation. Kemp was one of those who demanded that the election (run under his watch) was perfect. If it turns out (or when it turns out) that there was truth to this and Kemp decided to prevent an initial investigation, you can kiss his reelection changes goodbye.

What the fuck difference does it make. There is already video evidence of multiple people emptying multiple backpacks of ballots into these drop boxes. They have someone on record who is providing information on how he was paid for his part in harvesting ballots.
You could take the time to watch those videos (you won't). You could read up on what the whistleblower is saying (you won't). You could actually take seriously that there is now an actual investigation into something they previously refused to investigate (but you won't).
Even if there are charges against people for ballot harvesting it will not change your opinion on anything. Others have been already charged and found guilty of similar harvesting in other states. Arizona audits show that thousands of ballots were counted from people who no longer live in Maricopa or even in Arizona. You discounted it.

That's President Joe Biden during a speech he gave Thursday morning to commemorate the one-year anniversary of the US Capitol riot. It's not only a memorable line -- it's likely to be the one that gets repeated the most today and in the days to come -- but also a hugely important one if we hope to fully come to grips with what happened last January 6 and everything that led to that moment.
At the heart of the line is the idea of patriotism. Remember that Donald Trump ran for president in 2016 expressly on the idea of putting "America first." The idea that animated both his campaign and his four years in the White House was that the United States was exceptional in the world and that, for too long, American leaders had been afraid to loudly and proudly proclaim that fact, choosing instead to make America subservient to lesser countries around the world.
"The future doesn't belong to globalists," Trump said in a 2019 foreign policy speech at the United Nations. "The future belongs to patriots."
What makes America so special? Nothing differentiates us from the other world powers -- China, Russia -- more than our commitment to the peaceful transition of power every four years.
The idea that whether your preferred candidate wins that you
a) accept the results of a presidential election as free and fair and
b) recognize the winner as the president sits at the core of who we are as Americans.
You only need to go back to the 2000 election to understand the power -- and uniqueness -- of America and its commitment to the peaceful transition of power.
After a 36-day interregnum in which it wasn't clear whether Al Gore or George W. Bush had been elected president, Gore conceded the election following an adverse Supreme Court ruling.
That he conceded was important. How he conceded mattered even more.
"For the sake of our unity as a people and the strength of our democracy, I offer my concession," Gore said. "I also accept my responsibility, which I will discharge unconditionally, to honor the new president-elect and do everything possible to help him bring Americans together in fulfillment of the great vision that our Declaration of Independence defines and that our Constitution affirms and defends."
Gore also cited the words of Stephen Douglas following a loss in the 1860 presidential race to Abraham Lincoln: "Partisan feeling must yield to patriotism. I'm with you, Mr. President, and God bless you."
What Gore (and Douglas) understood was that this wasn't all about them. Of course they would have rather won. Of course they thought they would make a better president than their opponent. But they also understood that patriotism and loyalty to the country meant shelving their personal feelings in favor of doing the right thing for the country.
Biden, in answer to reporters' questions about why he didn't mention Trump during his speech, flicked at that sentiment.
Here's the key bit:
"It's not about me. It's not about the vice president. It really isn't. That's the thing that bothers me most about the sort of attitude that seems to be emerging to some degree in American politics. ... It's not about me. It's not about whether I'm president and she's vice president. It's about the system and somebody who tries to put himself above everything."
Think of it in another way. True sportsmanship isn't being gracious in victory. Anyone can do that. It's being gracious in defeat. And not just anyone can do that.
The same goes for patriotism.
It's easy to love your country when they elect you. Or give you what you want. It's a hell of a lot harder to love your country when you think they chose the wrong person or are headed down the wrong path.
True patriotism isn't insisting you won even though there's no evidence to back up those claims.
True patriotism is working within the system to make the country as great as it can be -- whether or not it feeds your personal interests.
Joe Biden gets that. Donald Trump never has.

“But that said, if people give us credible allegations we want to make sure that we [investigate], and we have that right now as an ongoing investigation," he said.
Podcast host John Solomon pointed out in order to conduct investigations into ballot harvesting, the state elections board sometimes must issue subpoenas to compile information.
“That will be one of the processes we’re looking at if we have people that don’t want to come forward for whatever concern,” Raffensperger told Solomon, “Because we really need to get to the bottom of it, we just can’t let it sit there, so if it comes to that then that will probably be the next step that we’d be looking at."
Following the 2020 presidential election, Trump argued on a now-infamous phone call with Raffensperger, that ballot harvesting and other election-related fraud had occurred in Georgia during the 2020 presidential election. Trump pressured Raffensperger to conduct audits to prove his allegations, arguing they would show election fraud and swing the vote total, making him the winner in Georgia instead of now-President Joe Biden.
In December, Raffensperger spoke to the House select committee investigating the events at the U.S. Capitol on Jan. 6.
"He said he could find no illegality or irregularity in the election," Rep. Bennie Thompson, D-Miss., chair of the Jan. 6 committee, told reporters, according to CNN.
"I spoke to the January 6th committee to ensure they included the full record of how stolen election claims damage our democracy — whether in 2016, 2018, or 2020," Raffensperger said in a statement to CNN.
