So why do you ask?

Was asked if I believed that the FBI had informants or embedded agents in the Capital riot crowd

So this is a dumb question and I will tell you why. Because the answer really doesn't matter, now does it? Neither does the truth.

We watched the FBI knowingly use fake information to basically spy on the Trump campaign in 2016.  We watched them knowingly use fake information to push forward an investigation that their own internal communications suggests they knew was a hoax and by their own internal communications was designed to undermine Trump. People within the FBI were fired, forced to step down, and even charged with crimes. The director and deputy director both blatantly lied multiple times under oath in hearings.

The left still sees James Comey, Peter Strzok, and Andrew McCabe as heroes who did the right thing by attacking Trump. They believe that the investigation "uncovering" all of their misdeeds is actually the partisan investigation that should not be taking place. If it was up to them, the Durham special counsel would cease to exist. They might even suggest we should reopen the Trump Russia collusion investigation if you put a gun to their head.

We have blatant and transparent information about the FBI's involvement in a failed kidnapping attempt of Governor Whitmer. Their involvement was simple. They suggested it. Recruited for it. Planned it. Set it up. Gave people orders. When the final move from the FBI took place (arresting people for attempting to buy weapons) there were more FBI and FBI informants present at the scene than private citizens.

But the left defended this and sees no issue with the fact that it was the FBI who pushed the kidnapping, recruited the people and ultimately sent them to their own undercover agent. They believe that it was likely a necessary thing and that they were correct to entrap them, because they were obviously right wing terrorists who would have done it on their own anyways.

So what difference would it make if the FBI was involved with the Jan 6th Capital riot? What if there were dozens of them pushing the envelope and being the first to charge forward? What if we could show that the entire event was unlikely to have occurred without FBI involvement...

The answer is nothing. The left would still defend those actions and still see the event in the same line of reasoning that they always did and do. So the question is largely moot. It really doesn't matter whether or not I believe the FBI was there in the crowd or whether or not others believe they were there in the crowd.  Amazingly it really doesn't even matter to the left if they "were" actually in the crowd. It wouldn't matter if there was smoking gun proof that it was the FBI plants who actually incited the events.

Now does it?

Democrats Regain Edge In Generic Ballot
January 4, 2022 at 11:17 am EST By Taegan Goddard 69 Comments

A new USA Today/Suffolk University poll shows Democrats narrowly leading Republicans on the generic ballot, 39% to 37%, marking a major shift from the GOP’s previous 8-point lead in a November.

One Year Later, More Lingering Questions About January 6

If Republicans take over Congress next year, they must demand a full investigation under a new select committee.

By Julie Kelly

January 3, 2022

Abombshell report just published in Newsweek details an in-depth, secret operation conducted by the Justice Department before and during January 6. Contrary to the lamentations of FBI Director Christopher Wray that he wished his agency had had better resources to prevent the Capitol breach, hundreds of elite forces under Wray’s authority were on stand-by days just before the protest, and even on the ground as it happened.

The “shadowy commandos” stationed at Quantico, home of the FBI Academy, on January 2, 2021 included the FBI’s Hostage Rescue Team and SWAT teams.

“On the morning of January 6, most of these forces staged closer to downtown Washington, particularly after intelligence was received indicating a possible threat to FBI headquarters building or the FBI’s Washington Field Office,” Newsweek investigative reporter William M. Arkin wrote. “FBI tactical teams arrived on Capitol Hill early in the day to assist in the collection of evidence at sites—including the Republican and Democrat party national headquarters—where explosive devices were found. FBI SWAT teams and snipers were deployed to secure nearby congressional office buildings. Other FBI agents provided selective security around the U.S. Capitol and protection to congressional members and staff.”

Those suspicions are not without merit. In September, the New York Times confirmed that at least two FBI informants had infiltrated the Proud Boys, an alleged “militia group” that breached the Capitol that day. Defense attorneys disclose in court documents that FBI agents were in the crowd.

The Justice Department’s scandal-ridden prosecution of several men charged with conspiring to kidnap Michigan Governor Gretchen Whitmer in 2020 continues to reveal disturbing details of how the FBI concocted the plot and managed every aspect until the end. More than a dozen informants and undercover agents executed the scheme—one FBI asset per defendant. Prosecutors continue to tie the kidnapping plot and January 6 together, a legal strategy that could backfire big-time for federal prosecutors.

And, more importantly, several agitators on January 6 including Ray Epps and Stewart Rhodes, who is “Person 1” in the multi-defendant conspiracy case against the Oath Keepers, still have not been charged; neither have dozens of protesters photographed wearing neon orange hats and electrical tape that day.

So as the nation approaches the one-year anniversary of what Democrats and the Biden regime insist was an attack as grave as 9/11, the top unanswered question is—what did the FBI do and when did it do it?

If the Republicans win, they will turn the FBI into the Gestapo!

ALBERT SMITH IRISH INDEPENDENT : ASK A FED A STUPID QUESTION.

Interesting finding out that Cringley was working in Ireland this story below will help with Intel!
Albert Smith (Irish Independent newspaper) is a racist journalist and was involved in this incident

5,000,000 Dollars in Bitcoins ILLEGALLY confiscated and destroyed by Government Agents. WIKILEAKS/WIKIFREAKS.

https://www.blogger.com/comment.g?blogID=2336394467865715231&postID=6121829002800385399&page=1&token=1633195361172&bpli=1
(Hissa like a big one you know?!)

Wikileaks and Julian are connected to the “Wiki” syndicate of servers, there are many “Wiki” based sites with different “Wiki” names that are part of a family tree ,Assange is himself also more than aware of the Wikifreaks ** Bing and Google ** entry sites.

Today wikifreaks have many undercover members, anyone can write and call them selves a freak of “Wiki” although their are obvious political rules!.Wikifreakz are left and oppose and fight racism, antisemitism and capatilist ideology, although realists that accept money is still needed in modern day life to survive todays “Freaks” are cautious and are found within Arts, writing, music and of course computer publishing (an area the state and far right are affraid of!!).

Its upon the subject of free speech and publishing not to be confused with the Americans tainted expressionism that we focus upon, more to the point how far the far right will go to put ;Wikifolk” out of business as Mr Assange himself will undoubtedly agree with.Julian isnt of course the only “Wiki” martyr and it is here by clearly stated as evidence that an undercover British Governmen agent working with the police used violence and firearms to Confiscate/destroyed over (130 Bitcoins coins) 5 million dollars worth on a hard drive to be precise. It happened some time ago and the incident is linked to Bill Clintons top man(Dennis O Brien richest person in Ireland),Clinton of course having connections with the CIA through the Clinton foundation of which O Brien is a trusted member who has on previous occasions personally paid Clinton many hundreds of thousands of dollars as gifts, and as we know Craig Murray accepted Hilary Clintons emails from a source that stated they had a dislike of the Clinton foundation.

Evidence of the funding of the Bitcoin transaction found here…..and its the real thing be assured!! in family law you dont need to prove anything once you have the bank and police records… and its not going away either until the debt is paid in full by the Americanized/Irish Government.

When conservatives first argued that the FBI was coming after Trump on false pretenses... you pretended that everyone who thought that was crazy.

Turned out the crazy one was you for trusting the FBI.

When conservatives brought up the Governor lockdown kidnapping and the fact it was pushed by the FBU... people like you defended it or argued that it wasn't true.

But turned out it was entirely true and the FBI was not just involved, but spearheaded it. Without the FBI, none of it would have happened.

So now you believe that the FBI is still a bunch of choir boys who cannot do no wrong and would have never stooped to having any plants in the Capitol riots.

SERGEANT JOHN HERAUGHTY ENNISKERRY AND BRAY DISTRICT POLICE OFFICER
The Clinton Foundation needed false passports, they used Dennis OBrien richest man in Fireland to get them,It was John Heraughty who signed false passport forms knowingly,he worked closely with other Wicklow Government agents one of them was Dr MOAYYAD AL KAMALI who as a doctor in the UK allegedly signed countless of muslim double agents up.They became a gang in Fireland…just check the records DR MOAYYAD AL KAMALI had three jobs at the same time aswell as being a doctor right next to the Russian Embassy in London…too much of a coincidence mathematically and within probability,he owns the WEDGEWOOD HOTEL and is listed by the Russian Federation as a BRITISH INTELLIGENCE VETTED person.Trump was right the Clinton Foundation supplied 1000s of false IDS to terrorists and other muslims that hid them…

ALBERT SMITH IRISH INDEPENDENT : BIDEN A WACKED OFF EXCUSE FOR DEMISOCIALISM

Biden is still “Wako Jako” about the Irish Press.

The Clintons (Clinton foundation) apparently set up some kinda Uranium purchase deal with the Russians years ago, like what the hell is that all about??Lets explain it a different way if the Clintons had achieved their goals all the American people would have been left with is double headed snake in command of the entire US…..no way and certain elements of the CIA and the Global Espionage village saw to that along with Trump and his allies.Julian assange and Wikileaks used Craig Murray to obtain Hilary Clintons emails that finally brought the Clintons empire to an end ,if you know your history youll know what was said to Murray like we do by the "Muels"who handed over Clintons documents. The entire story behind it is double dutch "Andy",Murray was banned from entering the USA for life for amongst other writing the book and then again why would the CIA allow Clinton to use none encrypted communications??and what where the fedz doing on the day it all happened looking out for suspicious Aircraft?!?

Thats why at a glance presumably the CIA claimed it was the Russians who where behind hit and hall.In wikifreaks articles in the past Craig Murray was named between the lines as a person working for MI6 agents who got him into America despite his banning order, who themselves as agents are in fact working for Putin, there are plenty of double and triple agents in the UK and Ireland to prove this theory and we are completely sure that not only did the New York press get the emails but Starebear the Kraut himself personally read through them before the NYC went to press.

Nobody in their right minds would have touched Clintons emails, unless they had insurance and diplomatic protection, not after the wacko murders..like nobody.

The book Clinton cash names the richest man in Ireland Dennis Obrien as a clandestine member,it stands to reason that the foreign contracts he obtained chanel Intel back to the CIA and that the newspaper outlet he owns in Ireland (The Irish Independent) employs and still pays NUJ Diplomatically protected Government agents that have worked for the Police carry and use firearms, as well as lie in courts and have immunity from prosecution.Dennis Obrien is a CIA handler/Operative thats explained beyond any questionable doubt and employs a large intelligence gathering organization based in both Ireland and abroad that continues to use "Wagner" style security operatives that nobody as yet in the world media has bothered to disclaimed before now.

Dennis O briens empire is worth Billions of dollars not thousands of Euros and many hundreds if not thousands of his foreign operatives and operations are American state protected.Russian spy boats are commonly found these days allegedly planting data detection devices in the West of Ireland along Ocean cable networks whilst O brien himself has been exposed by Western media has having invested Billions in security based contracts and under water cabling systems linked to CIA gathering outlets one project is named as being Cuban based.

Fewer voters now trust the Federal Bureau of Investigation, and many believe the agency is acting as President Joe Biden’s “personal Gestapo.”

A new national telephone and online survey by Rasmussen Reports finds that 46% of Likely U.S. voters have a favorable impression of the FBI, including 15% who have a Very Favorable view of the agency. That’s down from May 2020, when 60% had a favorable impression of the FBI. Forty-seven percent (47%) now view the FBI unfavorably, including 26% who have a Very Unfavorable impression.

Trump incited the attack on the Capitol.

For weeks before the attack, Trump had been urging his supporters to come to Washington for a “Save America March” on January 6, when Congress was to ceremonially count the electoral votes of Joe Biden’s win. Without any basis in fact or law (60 federal courts as well as the Departments of Justice and Homeland Security concluded that there was no evidence of substantial fraud), Trump repeatedly asserted he had won the 2020 election and Biden had lost it.

“Big protest in D.C. on January 6th. Be there, will be wild!” Trump tweeted on December 19. Then on December 26: “See you in Washington, DC, on January 6th. Don’t miss it. Information to follow.” On December 30: “JANUARY SIXTH, SEE YOU IN DC!” On January 1: “The BIG Protest Rally in Washington, D.C. will take place at 11:00 A.M. on January 6th. Locational details to follow. StopTheSteal!”

At a rally just before the violence, Trump repeated his falsehoods about how the election was stolen. “We will never give up,” he said. “We will never concede. It will never happen. You don’t concede when there’s theft involved. Our country has had enough. We will not take it anymore.”

He told the crowd that Republicans are constantly fighting like a boxer with his hands tied behind his back, respectful of everyone — “including bad people.”

But, he said, “we’re going to have to fight much harder…. We’re going to walk down to the Capitol, and we’re going to cheer on our brave senators and congressmen and women, and we’re probably not going to be cheering so much for some of them, because you’ll never take back our country with weakness. You have to show strength, and you have to be strong…. We fight like hell. And if you don’t fight like hell, you’re not going to have a country anymore.“

He then told the crowd that “different rules” applied to them. “When you catch somebody in a fraud, you are allowed to go by very different rules. So I hope Mike [Pence] has the courage to do what he has to do, and I hope he doesn’t listen to the RINOs [Republicans in Name Only] and the stupid people that he’s listening to.”

Then he dispatched the crowd to the Capitol as the electoral count was about to start. The attack on the Capitol came immediately after.

138 minutes later he said go home safely

“Why do we think that we can create something better than God in terms of combating disease?”
— Sen. Ron Johnson (R-WI), in an interview on WCPT, arguing that natural immunity from Covid-19 is better than vaccines.
__________

I would want to ask that Republican Senator,
"So do you think we created "something better than God" when Dr. Salk came up with the Salk vaccine against polio, or do you believe that God may approve of humans finding ways to combat destructive diseases by means of medical knowledge, including the use of vaccines?"

By the way, I think I now better understand the following Goddard citation:

Ivy League researcher hits brick wall with medical journals on COVID vaccine death study

AColumbia University researcher who estimates COVID-19 vaccine-related deaths are "underreported by a factor of 20" told Just the News that medical journals are rebuffing his research, largely for "not very substantive" reasons.

His study has been "desk rejected by over 10 editors at medical journals," said clinical neurobiologist Spiro Pantazatos. "I've lost count at this point."

Those turning him down include "widely recognized" standalone journals and publishers and "a few more specialist ones," said Pantazatos, who is also a research scientist at the New York State Psychiatric Institute. While some claimed the study was irrelevant to their focus, others said they have too many COVID-related submissions.

The most perplexing rejection, he said, cited placement of "methods" and "results" within the wrong section. It's rare to cite such minor errors during the screening stage, he said.

Using U.S. and European datasets and studying "regional variation in vaccination rates," Pantazatos and Israel-based researcher Hervé Seligmann claim they were able to predict "all-cause mortality and non-COVID deaths in subsequent time periods."

The CDC's estimated vaccine fatality rate (VFR) is 0.002%, but the duo's data suggested a VFR of 0.04% averaged across the U.S. — 146,000-187,000 "vaccine-associated" deaths from February through August.

The discrepancy shows the Vaccine Adverse Event Reporting System (VAERS) suffers from "under-ascertainment bias," they wrote.

Pantazatos told Just the News he was motivated to study the issue "because there is a huge gap in the literature of high quality research on the true risks and incidence rates of severe adverse reactions to the vaccines."

Doctors rarely have time to do more than "read the headlines in the abstract and trust that the science was done rigorously," he said, leaving them dangerously reliant on journal articles that may not pass muster. He wants to "help facilitate a paradigm shift on mass vaccination strategies that could potentially save many lives."

The COVID-19 vaccines "are monitored by VAERS and several other vaccine safety monitoring systems as part of the most intensive vaccine safety monitoring effort in U.S. history," the CDC claims on its website. "This continuous, robust safety monitoring helps keep COVID-19 vaccines safe and helps ensure the benefits of vaccination continue to outweigh any risks."

James's Fucking Daddy said...

Arguing the vaccines are "effective at preventing severe illness from COVID-19 and limiting the spread of the virus that causes it," the CDC recommends that all those eligible get a vaccine as soon as possible.

Hope for 'respectful disagreement'

Pantazatos said he's not concerned about being canceled for his research, even though he's familiar with Harvard Medical School's Martin Kulldorff, a repeat target of Big Tech censorship for questioning the science behind common COVID policies and highlighting their harms.

Kulldorff, Stanford Med's Jay Bhattacharya and Oxford's Sunetra Gupta formalized these criticisms in the Great Barrington Declaration.

According to recently released emails, National Institutes of Health Director Francis Collins called the trio "fringe epidemiologists" and colluded with National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases Director Anthony Fauci to issue a "quick and devastating public take down" of their work.

The officials commended an article by Yale epidemiologist Gregg Gonsalves in The Nation, a left-wing magazine, which criticized the even further left Jacobin magazine for giving Kulldorff a platform to argue that lockdowns hurt poor people.

Pantazatos told Just the News he's optimistic that "reason, evidence and respectful disagreement will prevail" and that colleagues will appreciate a new perspective on vaccine side effects.

While he is "being censored in a way by the medical journals" rejecting his study, the scientist acknowledged, the feedback has only strengthened the manuscript, which Pantazatos uploaded in October and has updated "semi-regularly." For example, journal editors challenged him to explain why the results show a causal rather than correlational relationship between vaccination and mortality risk.

Following debate with a colleague on whether vaccination was just a response to rising cases and deaths in a given region, Pantazatos added more details and a results table showing that vaccination also predicted non-COVID deaths "in an age-related pattern that was similar to the main result."

Most recently, a doctor gave him tips for getting published in a "reputable" journal: focusing on and clarifying "a few main aims," and reconsidering sentences "that could be construed as too negative for pharma industries given many journals rely on them for revenue."

Inside Peter Navarro’s Scheme to Overturn the Election
January 4, 2022 at 3:05 pm EST By Taegan Goddard 21 Comments

Former Trump adviser Peter Navarro told Rolling Stone about his plan to block the certification of the electoral vote on Jan. 6, 2021, saying “There were over 100 congressmen ready to implement the plan.”

Said Navarro:
“One of two things could happen. They go back there to the states, they look at it and they say, ‘Nope. It’s certified.’ The votes come back, and that would be it. Fair enough.”

He added: “But the more likely scenario based on our assessment of the evidence was that states would withdraw any certification. And the election would be thrown to the House of Representatives. And even though the House is controlled by Democrats, the way votes would be counted in a presidential election decided by the House, Trump would almost certainly win.”

TAEGAN GODDARD HIMSELF COMMENTS:

Judgment day: Sweden vindicated

Total covid mortality: Sweden vs. Austria (JHU/CSSE)
Updated: January 3, 2022

Austria, one of the most repressive European countries during the coronavirus pandemic, has recently overtaken Sweden in terms of total covid mortality, showing that almost all government interventions have been ineffective and unjustified.

Throughout the coronavirus pandemic, Austria has been one of the most repressive European countries, implementing several lockdowns, school closures, far-reaching mask mandates and even an N95/FFP2 mask mandate, record-setting mass PCR testing and contact tracing, as well as early “vaccine passports”. Austria was also the first Western country to impose a “lockdown for the unvaccinated” and the first Western country to announce a general “vaccine mandate”.

In contrast, Sweden has widely been regarded, or indeed criticized, as the least repressive Western country during the coronavirus pandemic, having imposed no lockdowns, no elementary school closures, no mask mandates, no “vaccine passport” (until December), and very limited testing and contact tracing compared to Austria and many other Western countries.

And yet, in December 2021, Austria overtook Sweden in terms of total covid mortality (see chart above). This comes after Austria had reached, in late November, the highest seven-day covid infection rate in the world. The European average covid mortality had already overtaken Swedish covid mortality back in March 2021.

But can Nordic Sweden and Alpine Austria really be compared in a legitimate way? Indeed, they can.

A Palm Shores man who refused to wear a mask and caused a commotion inside the Melbourne Orlando International Airport terminal was arrested on New Year's Day.

Daniel Chase, 63, faces charges of trespassing and disorderly conduct. He was released from the Brevard County Jail Complex on $750 bond, and he said he has an upcoming Feb. 1 court appearance.

"What is happening to our country? You can't even go — in Florida — to just do normal everyday business, being a law-abiding citizen, because I wasn't wearing a mask?" Chase said in a phone interview.

"This is all just a control thing. I wasn’t complying properly enough," Chase said.

About 6 p.m. Saturday, a Melbourne Airport Police Department officer saw Chase standing at a rental car counter without a face mask, an arrest affidavit said. A Transportation Security Administration mandate requires airport visitors and airline passengers to wear masks amid the COVID-19 pandemic.

Paris — Controversial French TV stars and famous twins Igor and Grichka Bogdanoff were inseparable in life, and in death. They had refused to be vaccinated against the coronavirus, believing their good health would save them, but were admitted to a hospital on the same day last month and diagnosed with COVID-19.

The younger twin, Grichka, died in an intensive care unit on December 28. Igor followed him six days later on January 3. They were 72.

The Bogdanoff twins were TV stars in France in the 1980s, famous as much for their offbeat popular science shows as for their good looks, multiplied by two.

The pair were inseparable, and they were in and out of the spotlight for most of their adult lives.

In 1979, they launched the first TV show entirely about science fiction, Temps X. Accused by academics of dumbing down science, it was that approach that made the show so popular with their audience.

Stop Calling It a Riot

January 6 was an act of terrorism.

January 6, 2021, was not a riot. It was not a protest, an insurrection, or a (failed) coup—at least, not exclusively so. None of those terms capture the exact nature of premeditated violence done for psychological effect to achieve political ends that characterized the violence at the U.S. Capitol that day. There is a better term, one that does precisely capture that mix: terrorism. January 6 was an attempted terrorist attack on the U.S. Congress. It is important that we call the attack by its rightful name to recognize the threat we face.

Americans seem uncertain about how to characterize January 6. In August, only 52 percent of Americans agreed it should be described as an act of terrorism, according to an NBC poll. That result is a decline from 57 percent in January, despite the additional information that has come to light since then about how many weapons the attackers carried and how much planning and premeditation took place before the attack. Most citizens are likely unaware of the new information and instead are responding emotionally: in January, it was fresh and seemed to merit a strong label; a year later, emotions have cooled.

Some leaders seem hesitant to name January 6 an attempted terrorist attack. In his inaugural address days after the attack, President Joe Biden warned of “a rise in political extremism, white supremacy, domestic terrorism that we must confront and we will defeat.” It took seven months, when recognizing the police who defended the Capitol, for him to unequivocally say that “a mob of extremists and terrorists launched a violent and deadly assault on the People’s House and the sacred ritual to certify a free and fair election.” Christopher Wray, the director of the FBI, called the attack domestic terrorism in testimony before Congress in June, but the FBI has not yet brought any terrorism charges against any of the more than 700 defendants currently standing trial—likely because of the difficulty of proving intent for any one specific defendant.

Some have been more straightforward. House Speaker Nancy Pelosi compared the January 6 attack to 9/11, saying both were attacks on U.S. democracy—one from within and one from without. Former President George W. Bush made a similar comparison on the anniversary of 9/11, suggesting an equivalence between jihadists and unnamed “violent extremists at home,” who share a “determination to defile national symbols.”

Coldheartedtruth Teller said...

Congress, for its part, seems to have no misconception. The Select Committee to Investigate the January 6 Attack on the U.S. Capitol was created “to investigate and report upon the facts, circumstances, and causes relating to the January 6, 2021, domestic terrorist attack upon the United States Capitol Complex.”

Terrorism is, under U.S. law, “the unlawful use of force and violence against persons or property to intimidate or coerce a government, the civilian population, or any segment thereof, in furtherance of political or social objectives.” There is no question the January 6 attack, in which hundreds of people violently broke into the Capitol building to stop Congress from certifying the presidential election, fits that definition.

Some critics, like Wisconsin GOP Sen. Ron Johnson, insist January 6 was a “peaceful protest,” echoing 36 percent of Republicans who told pollsters in December that the event was “mostly peaceful.” That’s accurate only if we characterize the event by the actions of a numerical majority of people present on the National Mall. There may have been up to 120,000 people on the National Mall on January 6. A much smaller number—early estimates suggested about 8,000—converged on the Capitol complex around 1 p.m. Perhaps 1,200 entered the building illegally, of whom more than 700 have been identified and charged so far.

Most of the protesters on the Mall were peaceful, and even a majority of those at the Capitol did not illegally enter the building. But that is a little like saying 9/11 was mostly peaceful because a majority of New Yorkers were not murdered that day. It somehow misses what was distinctive and noteworthy that morning. Most people act peacefully and lawfully most of the time. But we’re rightly interested in what is unique and unusual behavior—which will be, by definition, a minority of people in a small amount of time—that has outsized influence and does disproportionate damage to public safety and democratic norms.

Nor was the attack on the Capitol a rally that accidentally got out of hand, an unplanned, spontaneous outpouring of frustration that went a little too far, as some have claimed. Though the full picture is still emerging, it is clear that law enforcement saw warnings, predictions, and threats of violence before January 6. A New York Times documentary shows how groups like the Oath Keepers and Proud Boys seem to have played key roles instigating violence, coordinating movement, and spurring protesters to become rioters. Most of the protesters may not have intended to enter the building or engage in violence, but they allowed themselves to be used as cover for the leaders who did, and to be carried along by the mob mentality that took over.

And the attackers were armed. A small number carried guns; a much larger number carried “knives, axes, batons, tasers, bats, poles,” according to Politico, and pepper spray. “Others stole police shields and used metal barricades and furniture as makeshift weapons.” More than 150 Capitol police officers were wounded in the attack. By every piece of evidence that has come to light over the past year, January 6 was a premeditated violent attack by an armed group against the government. That is terrorism, plain and simple.

II.

Why does it matter what we call the event? Because words matter, and because we have to recognize what Republicans are downplaying, mainstreaming, or ignoring. Seventy-eight percent of Democrats say the protesters who entered the Capitol were “mostly violent,” compared to 26 percent of Republicans, according to a Washington Post poll. The partisan divide tracks closely with views of former President Donald Trump and the 2020 election. Ninety-two percent of Democrats believe Trump bears “a great deal” or “a good amount” of responsibility for January 6, compared to 27 percent of Republicans. Eighty-eight percent of Democrats believe there is no evidence of widespread electoral irregularities in the 2020 election, compared to 62 percent of Republicans who believe there is. A similar number—almost 60 percent—of Republicans believe Biden was not legitimately elected. Including Scott Johnson, a domestic terrorist.

Well in this case the Doctors stated it was a stroke and try as they may in the autopsy they could not tie it to any chemicals or bear spray. The autopsy said it was natural causes.

He came home from the riot... told everyone he was okay. Had a stroke and died at 9:30 PM, I guess one could say it was hours... in fact you could say it was minutes or even seconds...

Just need enough of them to make sure allow for the events to take place on two complete and separate days, over 24 hours apart.

Speaking of "The Dispatch" and it's fat-assed grifter co-founder:

As the frustrations mount and the insane clips and photos of what things look like continue to roll in, some have taken to the Twitter machine to blame Republican Glenn Youngkin, who I should point out is the Gov.-Elect and won’t be sworn in until January 15th. The blame was so predominant that as I write this, “Youngkin” is trending on Twitter.

For instance, Jonah Goldberg, who we have been reliably told is a truuuue conservative or something, said on Twitter that “If I was Glenn Youngkin I’d be flooding the zone to get this I-95 crap fixed. DC suburbs are vengeful about this kind of thing.”

When he was reminded Youngkin was not yet in charge of the state, Goldberg sheepishly noted that he “thought [Youngkin] was sworn in already. Tho grabbing his truck would be a baller move.”

Deadly ice storm turns Atlanta into parking lot, strands thousands
David Beasley
January 29, 2014
By David Beasley ATLANTA (Reuters) - A rare ice storm turned Atlanta into a slippery mess on Wednesday, stranding thousands for hours on frozen roadways and raising questions about how city leaders prepared for and handled the cold snap that slammed the U.S. South. The storm, which has killed at least seven people, on Tuesday swept over a region of about 60 million largely unaccustomed to ice and snow - stretching from Texas through Georgia and into the Carolinas - and forecasts called for more freezing weather on Thursday. Atlanta Mayor Kasim Reed came under fire for his response to a storm that trapped hundreds of children in schools overnight, some without provisions, and created traffic jams stretching for miles on roads coated with two inches of snow. "Folks are angry with the mayor of Atlanta, with the governor," said Flavia DiCesare, 54, who spent the night in her office at Cox Enterprises in Atlanta, about 30 miles from home. The mayor said schools, businesses and government offices were partly to blame for sending all the workers home just as the storm was rolling in. "During the day, we have a million to 1.2 million people in this city and all those people were out in very bad weather. It hampered our ability to get our equipment on the ground and to prepare our roads for that," Reed told a news conference. "The error - and we have shared responsibility for the error - the error was letting everybody out at once," he said. Georgia Governor Nathan Deal said all of Atlanta's school children had been safely returned to their families by Wednesday evening, with help from the National Guard and State Patrol. The one-day snowfall of 2.6 inches ranked as the 20th heaviest in Atlanta, which has recorded a daily snowfall of an inch or more 55 times since 1928, according to the National Weather Service. The city's highways became parking lots and thousands of motorists, still stuck 24 hours after the storm hit, were seeking help and food.

January 6 committee seeks cooperation from Fox News' Hannity and releases texts between host and White House
By Ryan Nobles, Annie Grayer, Paula Reid, Angelica Grimaldi and Alex Rogers, CNN
Updated Jan 4, 2022
(CNN) - Fox News host Sean Hannity was concerned about former President Donald Trump's strategy and conduct before, during and after the January 6 attack on the US Capitol, according to a letter sent to him on Tuesday by the House select committee probing the insurrection.
The committee asked Hannity for his voluntary cooperation with their investigation, noting it had received "dozens" of his text messages sent to and from former Trump White House chief of staff Mark Meadows that indicate that he had "advance knowledge regarding President Trump's and his legal team's planning for January 6th." In the letter, the panel said it wants to speak with Hannity specifically about his communications with Trump, White House staff and his legal team between December 31, 2020, and January 20, 2021, when President Joe Biden was inaugurated.
Hannity's attorney, Jay Sekulow, told CNN, "We are reviewing the committee's letter and will respond as appropriate."
The committee said it has text messages from Hannity pushing back on the plan to urge Congress to challenge the certification of the election on January 6 and urging Trump to prepare for his departure from office.
On January 5, Hannity wrote that he was "very worried about the next 48 hours."
In its letter the committee asked Hannity, "With the counting of the electoral votes scheduled for January 6th at 1 p.m., why were you concerned about the next 48 hours?"
The committee also cited a separate December 31, 2020, exchange in which Hannity wrote to Meadows, "We can't lose the entire WH counsel's office. I do not see January 6 happening the way he is being told. After the 6th. [sic] He should announce will lead the nationwide effort to reform voting integrity. Go to Fl and watch Joe mess up daily. Stay engaged. When he speaks people will listen."
The committee said it appeared that Hannity has "detailed knowledge regarding President Trump's state of mind," and engaged with the former President numerous times. The committee noted that Hannity spoke directly with Trump on January 5 about "his planning for January 6th" and on January 10, when Hannity "may have raised a number of specific concerns about his possible actions in the days before the January 20th inaugural."
The committee referenced messages from January 10 that Hannity sent to Meadows and Ohio Republican Rep. Jim Jordan: "Guys, we have a clear path to land the plane in 9 days. He can't mention the election again. Ever. I did not have a good call with him today. And worse, I'm not sure what is left to do or say, and I don't like not knowing if it's truly understood. Ideas?"
In a text to Meadows on January 5, Hannity wrote that he was "very worried about the next 48 hours" and referred to then-Vice President Mike Pence, who oversaw the certification of the 2020 election, saying: "Pence Pressure. WH counsel will leave."

It looks like most of them thought he was out of his mind.

NBC news reports the same thing even before the January 6th attacks

"You also had relevant communications while the riot was underway, and in the days thereafter," the letter went on to say, noting that the House panel has "dozens of text messages you sent to and received from former White House Chief of Staff, Mark Meadows and others related to the 2020 election and President Trump’s efforts to contest the outcome of the vote."

The letter included what it described as a text Hannity sent to Meadows on Jan. 5, when he said he was “very worried about the next 48 hours.”

Mark Meadows released this a few days ago.

I wonder if you might get worried about Trump.

This is classic fascist regime propaganda in response to the January 6th attacks.

The irony is that it isn’t GOP lawmakers trying “to wrest control of electoral votes from their own people,” as the Times editors charge; it’s the Democrats and their media allies.

Consider that last year, 44 states enacted some 285 bills related to elections. In blue states, those bills tended to loosen certain election rules and requirements, especially for mail-in and absentee ballots. That makes sense given that Democrats tend to vote by mail-in ballot far more often than Republicans. Making mail-in and absentee voting easier is merely a way to boost Democratic votes in any given state. It’s simple.

By contrast, Republican-led states tended to pass laws limiting or more strictly defining the rules for mail-in and absentee voting, on the theory that absentee balloting is inherently less secure and more susceptible to fraud, especially when paired, as it often is, with practices like ballot-harvesting.

Republican lawmakers’ motivation here was to prevent a repeat of the free-for-all of the 2020 election, which saw a raft of last-minute changes to mail-in and absentee voting rules, justified on account of the pandemic. Many Republicans rightly felt that judges who overruled state legislatures and re-wrote state elections laws by fiat (as happened in Pennsylvania), undermined the integrity of the election.

By passing such reforms, Republican lawmakers were responding to actions taken by Democrats, unelected public health officials, and Democrat-friendly judges to overhaul state election rules ahead of 2020. If you wanted to be disingenuous about it, you could argue that Democrats staged a “bloodless, legalized” insurrection before the 2020 election even took place.

That’s why the Times and the rest of the corporate press want so badly to talk about Jan. 6 instead of getting into the nitty gritty of what these Republican-passed election reforms actually do. You’ll notice the media always describe these laws as “restricting voter access,” even when they do no such thing. The entire conversation is a bit of legerdemain, nothing more. That’s why you’ll never read a piece in the corporate press about how Georgia’s new election law, which President Joe Biden called “Jim Crow on steroids,” actually makes voting easier than it is in Biden’s home state of Delaware.

Remember that when you read breathless remembrances of the Jan. 6 riot at the U.S. Capitol this week. Yes, the riot was bad and should have been put down with overwhelming force — just as the riots all throughout the summer and fall of 2020 should have been.

But the actions of a relatively small group of rioters that day have absolutely nothing to do with the perfectly valid efforts of GOP lawmakers to ensure that election rules are not changed at the last minute by unelected judges or public health officials. Equating the two, pretending they share a common cause and motivation, is a way to discredit the valid arguments of Republicans, smear them as “insurrectionists,” and eventually justify efforts to silence them.

“The people who described themselves as the most committed Republicans were also the most likely to say they were committed to Trump,
Fabrizio found in his post-Jan. 6 survey. Feelings about the former president, he explained in his analysis, were so intertwined with the understanding many voters had about what it meant to be a strong Republican that ‘Trumpism and party fidelity’ were becoming one and the same.”

Law enforcement is tracking online posts promoting a violent reunion on Capitol Hill on Jan. 6, and other potential threats tied to the upcoming anniversary of the attack on the Capitol, according to intelligence reports obtained by Yahoo News.

The calls for violence in Washington, D.C., on Thursday, Jan. 6, are detailed in a Jan. 3 Department of Homeland Security open source intelligence report, which describes flyers for the violent reunion posted online. The DHS report was sent to the FBI and other agencies on Monday for further investigation and includes copies of the flyers being circulated calling for a bloody attack on Jan. 6.

“This was just the beginning,” says one of the flyers, which features an image of rioters in the Capitol Rotunda during the insurrection last year. The image is covered with what appears to be blood splatter and says: “Reunion on Capitol Hill January 6 2022.”

One flyer shows Jan. 6 rioters breaching the Capitol, with superimposed images of blood, while another shows rioters breaching the Capitol last year, with calls to “TAKE OUR COUNTRY BACK.” A number of the flyers call on people to join the “Reunion on Capitol Hill on January 6 2022.”

Domestic terrorism is getting more dangerous than 9/11.

This DHS report was sent to, among others, nearly a dozen law enforcement and intelligence agencies, including FBI, the Justice Department, the Treasury Department, the NSA and the CIA.

This is just one of a number of potential threats that the DHS has flagged for law enforcement agencies to investigate in the days leading up to the first anniversary of Jan. 6, 2021, when a mob of Donald Trump supporters stormed the Capitol in an attempt to overturn the results of the 2020 presidential election.

Department of Homeland Security Secretary Alejandro Mayorkas

Other online posts sent to law enforcement for further review include one by a suspected extremist giving detailed instructions and tactics for conducting a sniper attack another post by a different suspected extremist giving instructions for making homemade explosives, according to intelligence reports obtained by Yahoo News.

A DHS spokesperson declined to comment specifically on its raw intelligence report detailing these calls for a violent reunion.

“Since the violent events one year ago, DHS has enhanced its ability to detect, analyze, and respond to threats,” the spokesperson wrote in a statement to Yahoo News. “The men and women of our Department remain vigilant in their national security mission, and we will continue to review the threat environment and share information with the public and our partners.”

The FBI declined Yahoo News’ requests for comment.

Despite those reports of potential violence, Homeland Security Secretary Alejandro Mayorkas said Tuesday that DHS is “not aware of any specific credible threats at this point related to Jan. 6, 2022.” However, the report flagging calls for a violent reunion at the Capitol seem to reflect what Mayorkas described as the DHS’s “heightened levels of vigilance” with regard to all signs of potential domestic terrorist activity.

6 rioters breaching the Capitol, with superimposed images of blood, while another shows rioters breaching the Capitol last year, with calls to “TAKE OUR COUNTRY BACK.” A number of the flyers call on people to join the “Reunion on Capitol Hill on January 6 2022.”Law enforcement is tracking online posts promoting a violent reunion on Capitol Hill on Jan. 6, and other potential threats tied to the upcoming anniversary of the attack on the Capitol, according to intelligence reports obtained by Yahoo News.

There’s a simple reason why Donald Trump spent hours watching television as the seat of our Democracy was violently under attack and refused to call the National Guard. He orchestrated it. Merrick Garland must make it clear that he be held accountable.

I thought liberals trusted doctors and scientists?

Both the doctor and the pathologist who did the autopsy stated that that the officer died of natural causes approximately 30 hours after the Riot.

Are you claiming that the doctor and pathologist were lying?
