No matter how many facts dispute the notion that fossil fuels cause warming, the media and other climate change pushers continue claiming the science is settled.

It is pure arrogance for politicians, bureaucrats and others to claim they can control the climate, disregarding that the climate has continually changed for billions of years, and even though people had nothing to do with creating any of the following:

The sun, moon, stars, and cloudsThe Earth's orbit, its rotation, the distance from the sun, the temperature on the sun or gravityHydrogen, oxygen, carbon, nitrogen, helium, or any of the 94 natural elementsH20, water, CO1, Carbon Monoxide, CO2, Carbon dioxide a clear, non-pollutant gas, or CH4, MethaneCoal, Oil, gold, silver, lithium, cobalt, or any of the natural resources. Soil and its three natural nutrients, nitrogen, potassium, and phosphorus that allow plants to thriveThunder, Lightning, rain, snow, tornadoes, hurricanes, typhoons, high tide, low tide, El Nino, La Nina, or blizzardsThe process where a tiny sperm and egg unite and in a few short months create a human with 300 bones at birth. That sperm and egg somehow also create 78 organs that allow the body to function including the heart, lungs, and brain. What a magnificent creation all life is. The millions of animal and plant species and all their natural processes. The process where animals and humans breathe out CO2 that allows plants to thrive and the process where plants emit oxygen which helps humans and animals breathe and survive. Natural immunity

America is being hijacked.

The good news is, we are catching on. One particular area of widespread consensus that the media is likely none-too-interested in disseminating is the general public’s view of the media itself. While President Trump was widely demonized for calling the media “fake news” and the “enemy of the people,” the people, it seems, actually agree with him. In a July 2021 Rasmussen poll, 58 percent of likely voters agreed that “the media is truly the enemy of the people.” And in a still more recent Gallup poll from October 2021, the percentage of Americans who trusted the media was a meager 7 percent. Scandal-plagued CNN’s 90 percent ratings free-fall over the course of the past year may be not a mere aberration but part of a broader trend in which people have begun to tune out all of these ratings-driven spreaders of sensationalized “breaking news,” profit-driven racial hysteria, thinly veiled regime propaganda, polarizing political bias, and mass misinformation.

Universities are similarly attracting our ire. Though Republicans and Democrats may have some disagreement when it comes to the details of why universities are becoming problematic, regardless of whether the issue is exorbitant tuitions, overly politicized administrations, professors, and classrooms or the inadequate teaching of essential skills, 61 percent of us agree universities are headed in the wrong direction, and enrollment is on the downswing.

The reputation of Big Tech is, likewise, starting to take a hit in the public eye. As of approximately one year ago, 45 percent of Americans had a negative view of these firms, as compared to only 34 percent with a positive view, and 57 percent of us wanted more government regulation of these many-tentacled monstrosities. And that was largely before tech platforms began to play the part of government lackeys administering an escalating mass censorship campaign in which backroom technocrats take it upon themselves to stifle public debate and purport to resolve difficult questions of what is or is not good science while deplatforming leading credentialed virologists and elected politicians alike.

We must break the spell and realize that we have the strength of numbers on our side. Then, we need to overcome the collective action problem that afflicts all diffuse majorities and band together to fight a culture war to take back our institutions from the sinister forces that have co-opted them. Those of us fortunate enough to see here and now where it is we stand have a responsibility to illuminate the path, to spread our words of warning and our good word far and wide until the dark veil that has descended upon the land is lifted and a chorus of hosannas can again ring out from sea to shining sea.

Thing about carbon dioxide is that it's reabsorbed back into the biome. So if you are so concerned about global warming, plant more trees and bushes. It's largely a symbolic gesture but it will make you feel better.

The thing that is much more important is to make sure the seas are clean and healthy. Plankton has two to three times the absorption of regular plants.

Keep the seas healthy keep CO2 levels stable.

When Fascism Comes To America, It Will Look Like Justin Trudeau’s Canada

Trudeau’s dangerous not just because he’s abusing Canadians, but because he is providing the wish list for crackdowns by Democrats in the U.S.: “every single bank, credit union, investment broker and insurance provider in the country has been deputized to figure out if they have a blockader as a client, and to immediately freeze their accounts if so.”

If Justin Trudeau had merely removed trucks from blocking a bridge in protest of vaccine mandates, it would be no big deal. Protesters for various causes routinely get removed from blocking traffic.

But that’s not all Justin Trudeau did. He suspended civil liberties in Canada, targeting peaceful protesters and anyone who supports them. Not because those supporters committed a crime, but because they supported the political opposition to Trudeau’s government.

Trudeau ordered all financial institutions to freeze the assets of his political opposition without court order and with full immunity from liability, and no financial asset was spared.

“The names of both individuals and entities as well as crypto wallets have been shared by the RCMP with financial institutions and accounts have been frozen and more accounts will be frozen.”

Trudeau has weaponized and commanded the private sector to do the government’s bidding in crushing political dissent. The Toronto Sun reported (emphasis in original):

One of the most far-reaching implications of the Emergencies Act is what it prescribes for the Canadian financial system. According to the government’s new Emergency Economic Measures Order, every single bank, credit union, investment broker and insurance provider in the country has been deputized to figure out if they have a blockader as a client, and to immediately freeze their accounts if so.

Under normal circumstances, private companies arbitrarily seizing the assets of their clients is a great way to get sued. But the order makes clear that “no civil proceedings lie against an entity for complying with this Order.”

As for who can be targeted by these measures, that’s pretty broad too. The official proclamation says it applies to anyone participating in a “public assembly that may reasonably be expected to lead to a breach of the peace.” The general idea was to turn the blockaded areas of Ottawa into a “no-go” zone where anyone within could be arrested or their accounts frozen, but the Emergencies Act could conceivably be applied to anyone else interfering with “critical infrastructure” or disrupting the “movement of persons.”

It’s why Attorney General David Lametti seemed to say on CTV Wednesday that anyone who donated to Freedom Convoy could potentially face seeing their accounts frozen by the federal government. The question from host Evan Solomon was “A lot of folks said, ‘I just don’t like your vaccine mandates and I donated to this … should I be worried that the bank can freeze my account?’” To this, Lametti replied, “If you are a member of a pro-Trump movement who is donating hundreds of thousands of dollars, and millions of dollars to this kind of thing, then you ought to be worried.”

The goal is not just to crush political dissent, it’s to crush the opposition’s spirit by depriving them of their livelihoods, ability to survive financially, and even taking their pets.

President Biden understands the Importance of NATO

Does the U.S.-Russia Crisis Over Ukraine Prove That the Cold War Never Ended?

Putin’s aggression in Europe has triggered a new debate about whether American Presidents and policymakers have misunderstood decades of history.

In his final State of the Union address, in 1992, President George H. W. Bush sounded almost ecstatic. “The biggest thing that has happened in the world in my life, in our lives, is this: by the grace of God, America won the Cold War.” The ideological struggle between the U.S.-led West and the Soviet-dominated East—which played out in proxy wars around the world over four decades—had not simply ended, the President declared. The U.S. had triumphed. “A world once divided into two armed camps now recognizes one sole and preëminent power, the United States of America,” he told a joint session of Congress. “And they regard this with no dread. For the world trusts us with power, and the world is right.” Bush really did believe in what he labelled “a new world order” marking the end of an era. “The quest for freedom is stronger than steel, more permanent than concrete,” he said, in November, 1989, as the Berlin Wall and Communist regimes of Eastern Europe were crumbling.

Both of Bush’s assertions seem dubious—even naïve—three decades later. In a stunning announcement on Friday, President Biden said that, based on “significant intelligence,” the U.S. believes President Vladimir Putin intends to invade Ukraine. The Russian leader “is focussed on trying to convince the world that he has the ability to change the dynamics in Europe in a way that he cannot,” Biden told reporters. On Saturday, during a stop in Lithuania, a former Soviet republic that is now a nato ally, Defense Secretary Lloyd Austin said that Russian forces “are uncoiling and are now poised to strike.”

Amid escalating tensions, a new debate has emerged among historians and experts on Russia about whether the Cold War ever really ended—at least as far as Moscow is concerned—and whether American arrogance blinded successive U.S. Presidents. Russia, with the largest army in Europe, is now resurgent. It is trying to reëstablish its traditional sphere of influence. In Europe over the past fourteen years, Russia has invaded and annexed part of Ukraine, and invaded Georgia and recognized two of its breakaway provinces as independent countries. For the first time, Russia has entrenched a military presence on the Mediterranean at naval and air-force bases in Syria, in the Middle East. In Africa, thousands of Russian contract mercenaries have been deployed on the Mediterranean coast of oil-rich Libya as well as in Sudan, Mali, the Central African Republic, Mozambique, and Madagascar. Now Russia appears intent on absorbing geostrategic Ukraine—a country slightly smaller than Texas that borders four members of nato—either by military force or political coercion. Moscow counters that Washington’s criticism is hypocritical, given U.S. military interventions in Iraq and Afghanistan, much farther from its own shores, during the past two decades.

Coldheartedtruth Teller said...

From the vantage point of history, some experts now view the current tensions as merely a new phase in a Cold War that never ended. “We can trace current strains back to the Cold War,” Robert Daly, the director of the Kissinger Institute, at the Wilson Center, told me. “There are important continuities.” He said the crisis today was not preordained or inevitable. If American, Russian, and Chinese leaders had made “a whole slew” of different choices along the way, history could have taken a different and less troubled course. “But it now looks like the period between the Cold War and today was an interregnum,” he said. “We thought issues were resolved, but it’s now clear that they weren’t.” The new prism on the past will be hard for Americans to accept, he said, because the crisis today reflects a “collective failure” over decades.

that former President Donald Trump is potentially facing a "five-year felony" over allegations that he took classified national security documents from the White House when he left office last year.

The National Archives and Records Administration (NARA) confirmed in a Friday letter to the House Oversight Committee that some 15 boxes Trump returned last month after being requested to do so, contained classified national security documents. "NARA has identified items marked as classified national security information within the boxes," archivist David Ferriero wrote.

Previously, The New York Times reported that classified documents were included with the records Trump was required to return. The Washington Post further reported that some of the documents were classified as "top secret."

Kirschner commented on the scandal during an MSNBC segment on Friday evening, predicting that Trump could face multiple indictments in the near future. Specifically when it comes to the documents issue, the legal expert contended that anyone else would already be indicted given the information currently available.

There was an unexpected 40% increase in ‘all cause deaths’ in 2021

Three physician “whistle-blowers” have just released real data from the DoD, drawn from the clinical diagnosis codes. The increases found are from 2021, compared to the five year average from 2016 to 2020.

Myocardial infarction: 269% increase
> Miscarriages: 300% increase
> Bell’s palsy: 291% increase
> Congenital malformations: 156% increase
> Female infertility: 471% increase
> Pulmonary embolisms: 467% increase
> Neurologic abnormalities: 300% increase
> Cancers: 300% increase

As of now, the CDC has not explained this data.

Dr. Kelly Victory discussed the surprising findings and respond to those who believe the COVID-19 vaccines have caused these increases.

The false claim that Trump was in wrongful possession of confidential documents

The National Archives, which is controlled by a hard-leftist cadre, excitedly announced that President Donald Trump took classified information with him when he left the White House. The problem — which the AP reluctantly concedes — is that, as president, he had the final say over what's classified. That means that there's no hypocrisy in his reaming Hillary Clinton for her conduct.

As a predicate, the National Archives management has turned that government office into a purely leftist entity determined to advance all leftist causes, including destroying Donald Trump. Recently, it was caught stating that the U.S. Constitution and all of America's other founding documents contain "harmful content." Why? Because they have "racist, sexist, misogynistic, and xenophobic opinions."

Additionally, the National Archives management has concluded that the entire institution of the National Archives itself is structurally racist because it's concerned with lauding the work of the White men who created our nation. You can read more about that insanity here.

Most recently, the leftist, impermissibly partisan National Archives management's vendetta against Trump has management claiming that Trump was found to be illegally in possession of classified information:

Classified information was found in the 15 boxes of White House records that were stored at former President Donald Trump's Mar-a-Lago residence, the National Archives and Records Administration said Friday in a letter that confirmed the matter has been sent to the Justice Department.

The letter from the agency follows numerous reports around Trump's handling of sensitive and even classified information during his time as president and after he left the White House. The revelation could also interest federal investigators responsible for policing the handling of government secrets, though the Justice Department and FBI have not indicated they will pursue.

Image: Nancy Pelosi destroys a government document. YouTube screen grab.

In the same article quoted above, Farnoush Amiri, writing for the AP, announces that this is illegal conduct, only to concede, obviously reluctantly, that as president, Trump had the ultimate say as to what was classified and what wasn't:

Federal law bars the removal of classified documents to unauthorized locations, though it is possible that Trump could try to argue that, as president, he was the ultimate declassification authority.

But all is not lost for leftists, insists Amiri, because Trump has shown himself to be a hypocrite for harping about the fact that Hillary Clinton ran all her correspondence through an unsecured private browser server housed in her bathroom and destroyed 30,000 emails:

No matter the legal risk, it exposes him to charges of hypocrisy given his relentless attacks during the 2016 presidential campaign on Democratic opponent Hillary Clinton for her use of a private email server as secretary of state. The FBI investigated but ultimately did not recommend charges.

They need to dock Amiri's salary just because he's an idiot. Unlike Trump, Hillary was not president when she ran classified documents through an unsecured personal browser server, as well as allowing them to end up on the computer of Anthony Weiner, a convicted pedophile. Nor was she president when she deleted 30,000 emails that were under subpoena. Instead, she was a government employee and absolutely bound by document classification and destruction laws. She ended up violating virtually every national security law on the books.

James's Fucking Daddy said...

In the same article, Amiri also reminds us that the National Archives management is squawking that Trump would tear up documents. Unless Trump reached into the White House's computer hard drives, he merely tore up representations of the actual documents. (Just think of Nancy Pelosi tearing up her copy of Trump's speech.) Unless Trump was doing what Hillary did, which was to wipe out the contents of hard drives containing legally protected documents, he did nothing wrong when he ripped up what was probably the fifteenth printout of some memo a flack sent him about low-level trade negotiation in which he was interested.

This entire document thing is a false flag operation. The National Archives management is deeply corrupt, and Trump did nothing wrong. On the other hand, Hillary is also deeply corrupt, and she did something very wrong. If we lived in a just country, Hillary wouldn't be making noises about running again; she'd be complaining that prison orange makes her complexion look sallow

Classic propaganda. The MSM is a very hoax and the only people you can believe are his supporters like the truthers.

While earlier filings by Durham had revealed equally explosive facts, this time the special counsel’s motion generated enough attention that #Durham began to trend on Twitter. Not since the special counsel’s office indicted Sussmann in September 2021 for lying to the FBI’s former general counsel, James Baker, has the Durham investigation forced itself into the legacy press’ purview.

Rather than report on the latest developments, the corrupt media spun Friday’s filing as a big nothingburger, while parading several false narratives—just as it did when news of the indictment of the Clinton campaign’s lawyer broke.

Charlie Savage at the New York Times led the way in a Monday article headlined, “Court Filing Started a Furor in Right-Wing Outlets, but Their Narrative Is Off Track.” Amazingly, several of Savage’s talking points coincided with arguments presented by Sussmann’s attorneys in a document filed with the court that same day.

By Tuesday, Vanity Fair had joined in, quoting Savage’s “analysis.” That evening, Jimmy Kimmel turned the talking points into one-liners. Wednesday saw Brian Stelter at CNN further cribbing from the Savage’s initial take at the Times.

While the leftist press continues to fall in line to advance the unofficial defense of the Clinton campaign’s former attorney, the talking points the Durham deniers are pushing remain nothing but gibberish.

The problem for Democrats is that Trump as a sitting president is the final authority on what's classified or wasn't.

Therefore, there was nothing illegal out of him taking national security documents from the White House as he was president.

And after his term expired it was the National Archives responsibility to collect them.

Hillary Clinton's never-ending shenanigans in 2015-2016 could be summarized as an attempted slow-motion coup.

Four years of national hysteria, a divided nation, and dangerous new tensions with Russia were some of the wages of Clinton's machinations.

Clinton hired a British national and ex-spy, Christopher Steele, to compile dirt on her election opponent, Donald Trump. She hid her likely illegal campaign payments to him through at least three paywalls - the Democratic National Committee, the Perkins Coie law firm, and the opposition research firm Fusion GPS.

Partisans in the FBI helped her, by variously spying on minor officials affiliated with the Trump campaign, like George Papadopoulos and Carter Page. To expedite its improper surveillance, a corrupt FBI hierarchy presented fraudulent documents to a FISA court that authorized the illicit surveillance.

Clinton's orbit of former subordinates and friends seeded the lies in the dossier throughout the Department of Justice, the FBI, and the CIA.

During the Trump transition, the FBI also tapped into the communications of national security advisor designate General Michael Flynn. The illegally leaked surveillance put an end to his service to the Trump Administration and ruined his life.

The country went through 22 months and $40 million in legal expenses under special counsel Robert Mueller to investigate the Clinton-inspired Russian collusion hoax.

When it was all over, Mueller's "dream team" found no such actionable Trump-Russian collusion.

Mueller himself ended up nearly humiliated, preposterously claiming under oath no knowledge about the Steele dossier or Fusion GPS - the twin pillars of deceit that prompted his own investigation.

But Clinton was undaunted.

According to a recent affidavit filed by Special Counsel John Durham, Clinton furthermore had previously hired members of the Perkins Coie law firm to contract with tech experts to leverage their own existing access to the White House and Trump servers - and tap into the top-secret communications data of candidate and then-President Trump.

Their apparent desperate purpose was to find any dirt that the failed Steele dossier had not discovered.

As a result, Clinton's tech hirelings helped promulgate another "collusion" lie that Trump Tower computers were communicating back and forth with the Russian Alfa Bank.

This additional Clinton investment in ruining Trump succeeded, as planned, in provoking media "collusion" hysteria that further paralyzed the Trump presidency.

Nightly news still trafficked in the fake Steele dossier and the Russian collusion hoax. The additional phony Alfa Bank smear was cited as further proof that Trump should be removed from office.

Clinton's efforts created the general background landscape of hysteria and untruth that greenlighted the first Trump impeachment over a phone call to the Ukrainian president.

"Collusion" helped prompt efforts to remove or discredit him through possible invocation of the 25th Amendment.

Caliphate4vr said...

And such skullduggery mainlined the once unthinkable scenario of a military coup. In this Clinton-created climate of collective madness, retired generals referenced their commander in chief as Hitler and Mussolini-like. A former Obama Pentagon official even wrote out a scenario of a military coup removing him.

Nonetheless, Trump completed a solid record of accomplishment of border security, energy production, full employment without inflation, deregulation, and a deterrent, but not interventionist, foreign policy.

The chief criticism of his administration was that Trump believed the Washington establishment and media were out to get him. In furor, he railed nonstop that the Left had conspired to monitor his communications and break the law to ruin him.

Yet that supposed paranoia is proving to be an unpleasant reality.

What would Trump's presidency have been like had opponents like Clinton kept to normal adversarial politics? What if they had avoided spinning conspiracies, often through violation of federal laws? Could they have been content with just opposing him rather than seeking to destroy him?

One of the reasons why American-Russian relations are poor, aside from Russian President Vladimir Putin's aggressive efforts to reclaim the borders of the old Soviet Union, was the nonstop and politicized demonization of "Russia."

Americans were repeatedly and falsely told that "the Russians" had tried to destroy the Clinton campaign to partner with the traitor Trump and betray the United States. That was a slanderous lie.

Former CIA director John Brennan fed such hysteria by libeling Trump as "treasonous." The retired Director of National Intelligence James Clapper smeared Trump as a "Russian asset."

Will the nation ever demand an investigation to find out how and to what extent Hillary Clinton's subordinates and contractors infiltrated the private communications of the president of the United States?

Will the people ever learn how such false information was seeded throughout the government and media in a conspiratorial effort to destroy a sitting president?

Hillary Clinton by now is an old master of scandals. Her lifelong oeuvre is vast - the cattle futures scam, Rose law firm missing documents, Travelgate, Uranium One shenanigans, missing emails, and the Steele dossier.

But the ongoing effort of her paid associates to tap into the top-secret communications of a presidential candidate and further use such illicit information to ruin the American presidency will go down as her greatest masterpiece of deceit.

Roughly 75% of Russian conventional forces deployed against Ukraine, US official says
From CNN's Jim Sciutto

According to the latest US intelligence assessment, Russia now has close to 75% of its conventional forces postured against Ukraine, a US official with direct knowledge of the intelligence told CNN.

The concentration of forces within striking distance of Ukraine is highly unusual and part of the reason the US believes Russia is ready to attack, the official said.

This includes some 120 of Russia's total estimated 160 Battalion Tactical Groups or BTGs which are positioned within 60km of Ukraine, according to the official. While that figure represents 75% of Russia’s principal combat units, it is less than half of the total troops in the Russian military.

US officials have reported that Russian troops combined with separatist forces could be as high as 190,000 deployed around Ukraine.

Some 35 of 50 known air defense battalions are deployed against Ukraine. In addition, the US estimates some 500 fighter and fighter-bomber aircraft are within range of Ukraine, as well as 50 medium to heavy bombers.

Together, the Russian forces now vastly outnumber Ukrainian military forces, according to the assessment.

To note: CNN cannot independently verify the intelligence.

Biden and Putin Wage Mind Games Before War
February 20, 2022 at 11:10 am EST By Taegan Goddard 13 Comments

“President Biden and Vladimir Putin are each trying to shape the narrative of what is happening in Ukraine and get inside the heads of a global audience — and each other — to gain the upper hand in an information war as a possible prelude to a real one,”
Axios reports.

“U.S. officials say Putin is stoking disinformation in order to blame Ukraine if Russia invades. The White House is trying to announce Putin’s plays before he runs them — a novel and risky strategy they hope might stave off an invasion, or at least help unify the international community against it.”

HERE COMES A COMMENT THAT IS BOTH TRAITOROUS AND STUPID:
Quote of the Day
February 20, 2022 at 11:05 am EST By Taegan Goddard 53 Comments

“Joe Biden came to Capitol Hill and personally lobbied Democratic senators to vote against Russian sanctions. That’s why we’re facing this invasion. I gotta say… Joe Biden becoming president is the best thing that ever happened, tragically, for Vladimir Putin.”
— Sen. Ted Cruz (R-TX), quoted by The Hill.

DAMN, THAT IS STUPID!

Biden Still Willing to Talk to Putin
February 20, 2022 at 11:02 am EST By Taegan Goddard 6 Comments

“Secretary of State Antony Blinken said on Sunday that President Biden was still willing to talk to President Vladimir Putin of Russia despite the U.S. government’s assessment that Mr. Putin has already decided to invade Ukraine,” the New York Times reports.

Said Blinken:
“We believe President Putin has made the decision, but until the tanks are actually rolling, and the planes are flying, we will use every opportunity and every minute we have to see if diplomacy can still dissuade President Putin from carrying this forward.”

Washington — The U.S. has intelligence that Russian commanders have received orders to proceed with an invasion of Ukraine, with commanders on the ground making specific plans for how they would maneuver in their sectors of the battlefield, CBS News national security correspondent David Martin reported on "Face the Nation" Sunday.

The intelligence indicates that "they're doing everything that American commanders would do once they got the order to proceed," Martin said.

After weeks of warning that a Russian invasion of Ukraine was imminent, President Biden told reporters Friday that he's "convinced" Russian President Vladimir Putin had made the decision to invade Ukraine and said the U.S. believes Russian forces intend to attack in the "coming days.

Yes, this is Canada in 2022.

Seems the liberals are the only ones who duped themselves. The story is true and that not the only thing the Mounties did.

The irony is that they are presented In Canadian lore as these polite, civilized policemen. You would think they would want to keep that reputation.

“For deeply sourced, relentlessly reported coverage in the public interest,” the citation from the Pulitzer Prize board begins, “that dramatically furthered the nation’s understanding of Russian interference in the 2016 presidential election and its connections to the Trump campaign, the president-elect’s transition team and his eventual administration.”

Except the journalism that the Pulitzers honored — a 2018 National Reporting prize shared by the Washington Post and the New York Times for reporting on Russiagate — did no such thing.
