To be fair, almost never dies can mean almost anything. What does "almost" really declare. I can see a 99% survival rate as "almost never die". But to suggest that people who are not vaccinated "die almost every time" would not seem to correlate well with a 95% plus survival rate even with people who are unvaccinated. Certainly one in 20 or so it not approaching "every time" in any "almost" meaning of the term.
More to the point, Covid deaths are still more frequent in aged and people with certain pre-existing conditions. If you are not over the age of 50 and you do not have preexisting conditions your chances of dying (vaccinated or not) is extremely small. It certainly would not happen "almost every time". In fact, it would be more accurate to say that it would almost "never happen.

Researchers at the British Office for National Statistics (ONS), found that mortality rates for people who contract COVID dropped substantially 21 days after receiving their booster. For COVID patients who received only two doses of a vaccine, mortality risks were also much lower, but to a lesser degree—they were 81.2% less likely to die compared to unvaccinated people.
Researchers adjusted for differences in population size and age demographics when crunching the data, which was collected between July and December 2021.
