Whoever, with the intent of interfering with, obstructing, or impeding the administration of justice, or with the intent of influencing any judge, juror, witness, or court officer, in the discharge of his duty, pickets or parades in or near a building housing a court of the United States, or in or near a building or residence occupied or used by such judge, juror, witness, or court officer, or with such intent uses any sound-truck or similar device or resorts to any other demonstration in or near any such building or residence, shall be fined under this title or imprisoned not more than one year, or both.
Nothing in this section shall interfere with or prevent the exercise by any court of the United States of its power to punish for contempt.
So the same Nancy Pelosi who has been running a months long investigation accusing Donald Trump of "inciting" people to break the laws that they are charged with... is openly encouraging people to do that exact same thing? There doesn't seem to be any sense of irony for Pelosi, just a blatant acceptance of her obvious hypocrisy.
This is no different than liberal politicians like Pelosi encouraging the BLM riots and even setting up funds to bail people out of bank. Only this time, they are openly encouraging protests and picketing and even suggesting openly that they are encouraging it so that these protesters can influence the justices into changing their decision.
The more obvious deal here is that the "picketing and parading" charges that have been levied against hundreds of Capital Protesters is more specifically designed to protect the Court and Judges in general. Every last person who is currently picketing in front of the residents or the USSC are in violation of the very law that the Jan 6th protesters are being charged with.
And no... whether or not windows are broken here is not at issue. The vast majority of those arrested and held without bail for their involvement in the Jan 6th protests were non-violent. They did nothing more than what these protesters are doing. The only difference is "who" they were and "what" they were protesting.
Conservatives protest... they get arrested, thrown in jail, and not given bail.
Liberals protest... they get praise from the liberal politicians and their media cronies.

Not a political demonstration. During A Protected by the first amendment demonstration that may cause property damage or graffiti, they get arrested is very rare. And just like the demonstrator on January 6th have been charged with minor crimes. If the congressional election committee shows that the former President committed the crimes, the Department of Justice may present the findings to a Grand Jury and determine whether to charge him for the violation of the law. It has never happened before, but this was the biggest threat in our history.

During his presidential campaign, Mr. Biden often spoke about broadband services as a necessity and pointed to the plight of families who would park in fast-food parking lots to access wireless internet during the Covid-19 pandemic.
The plan is part of a $65 billion program to build up the country’s broadband network through the roughly $1 trillion infrastructure law approved by Congress in 2021. While most of the broadband funds will be awarded to states and territories for fiber-optic-cable projects, the law also allows $14 billion in subsidies called the Affordable Connectivity Program to lower internet costs and improve access to broadband.

Wade. That law, also called a “snapback law,” does not include an exception allowing victims of incest to access abortion care. The only exceptions in the law are for cases of rape and when the life of the mother is in danger.
When asked on Sunday whether Mississippi would enforce the snapback law if Roe is overturned — which looks increasingly likely thanks to a leaked draft opinion — Reeves told Tapper he would. “Yes, Mississippi does have a trigger law in place,” Reeves said. “It was passed in 2007, and that trigger law will go into effect” if Roe is overturned. Pro-choice governor Gov. Gretchen Whitmer in Michigan, on the other hand, has gone to court in an attempt to prevent the state’s trigger law from going into effect if the Supreme Court nullifies Roe.

The riveting ‘2000 Mules’ proves there was massive election fraud

Dinesh D’Souza is an effective filmmaker and he didn’t disappoint with 2000 Mules, a riveting documentary examining the way leftist organizations used activists to stuff ballots in the 2020 election (and the 2020 Georgia run-off election that handed the Senate to the Democrats). However, after watching it, I felt there were some unanswered questions that also deserve scrutiny so I hope D’Souza follows up on these issues.
2000 Mules begins with the premise that Trump voters have found it impossible to believe that Trump lost the election. When they contrast his campaign appearances (60,000 screaming fans) with Biden’s campaign appearances (6 vaguely animated lumps sitting in little circles); the bellwether counties states showing Trump winning by a large margin; the significant gains Trump made with Hispanics and Blacks; the millions of votes Trump gained over the four years of his presidency; and the mysterious overnight counting shut-down in the states that ultimately gave Biden his “victory,” they know that something is wrong.
The folks at True the Vote also suspected that something was wrong, very wrong. The founder, Catherine Engelbrecht, working with Gregg Philips and a team of computer analysts, came up with a very clever way to determine whether there was fraud. They suspected as much, thanks to the way in which Democrats in key states used COVID as an excuse to increase absentee voting. That included states which allowed only absentee voting with drop boxes across cities and towns, where there had been massive ballot harvesting. That is, people, both real and fake, didn’t fill out their own ballots. Instead, they were collected, completed, and put into drop boxes by partisan and paid activists.
To prove this theory, True the Vote obtained geo-tracking information for major urban areas in Pennsylvania, Michigan, Wisconsin, Georgia, and Arizona, allowing them to follow cell phone signals. They marked all the drop boxes and all the facilities for left-wing non-profits. They then looked for cell phones that traveled between the non-profits and drop boxes at least ten times (to be sure to winnow out statistical noise). Through FOIA requests, they also obtained as many videos as they could showing people stuffing multiple ballots into the drop boxes, a completely illegal act.
Their data revealed 2,200 mules in just five cities, visiting between 20 and 45 drop boxes each, at which they dropped off an average of five ballots. When you do the math, the numbers are staggering:

Vladimir Putin’s Victory Day speech today shows the Russian president is “completely out of ideas” about the war in Ukraine, according to one analyst.
Prior to the speech, foreign officials had said Putin could use it to launch a full mobilisation of Russian troops or formally declare war in Ukraine, but there were no large policy announcements.
Instead he suggested Russia was “forced” into the war by Nato and told Russian soldiers they were “fighting for the same thing their fathers and grandfathers did”.
Phillips O’Brien, professor of strategic studies at the University of St Andrews, says the absence of any big announcements in Putin’s speech is far more important than the rhetoric he used.

Appearing on CNN's "New Day" with hosts Brianna Keilar and John Avlon, famed Watergate reporter Carl Bernstein launched into a diatribe about the ethics of Supreme Court Justice Clarence Thomas.
The former Washington Post journalist's comments were prompted by host Keilar when she asked him what he thought of Thomas' complaint about the nation's highest court being "bullied" after the leak of a draft opinion by fellow Justice Samuel Alito that would effectively overturn the landmark 1973 Roe v Wade ruling that paved the way for women to obtain abortions without undue government interference.
According to Bernstein, Thomas, appointed to the court by President George H.W. Bush in 1991, should be considered a "rogue justice."
"I think that Clarence Thomas talking about faith in institutions is a little misguided, given particularly the role of his wife in the Stop the Steal movement around the president of the United States," Woodward bluntly stated. "The wife of a Supreme Court justice doing what Ginni Thomas did is utterly unheard of in the history of the United States. So Justice Thomas talking about the legitimacy of institutions, either the White House or the court itself and he should recuse himself, which he refuses to do from any case involving the president of the United States and the election."
"There is a real failure of institutions, especially on the Supreme Court by a rogue justice who would not say 'I'm going to step aside,'" he continued. "And also, let's look at what Ginni Thomas did. Let's look at what she was saying and we have texts of what she was saying. It is crazy stuff. It is out there, but it is also encouraging the president of the United States, really, to stage a coup."
"So it's disingenuous to hear from the justice to say this kind of thing," he added, getting back to Clarence Thomas.

MILAN — Italian Premier Mario Draghi meets with U.S. President Joe Biden this week in Washington as Europe faces another “whatever it takes” moment with Russia’s war in Ukraine raging on its eastern flank.
Both Rome and Washington will emphasize their historic friendship and shared desire to help Ukraine defend itself from Russia’s two-month-old invasion when the leaders meet on Tuesday. Energy, climate change and promoting global economic prosperity also are on the agenda.
Still, there are differences in tone over the war, and public sentiment in Italy against sending arms to Ukraine is growing.
Draghi is pushing for even a limited truce to allow talks to resume, mindful also of the impact on Italy should the war spill over Ukraine’s borders. Statements by Biden and his emissaries have been more aggressive, suggesting both regime change and the goal of weakening Russia.
These differences reflect not only Italy’s geographic closeness to the fighting, but also its historic political and economic ties with Russia. Italy gets 40 percent of its natural gas from Russia, and economic trade last year amounted to 20 billion euros.
“There are two currents regarding Russia,” Sergio Romano, a Cold War-era Italian ambassador to Moscow, told The Associated Press. “There is the position of the countries that see in the war in Ukraine the possibility, or the hope, of the diminishment of Russian power. I think this current is strong in the U.S.
“I don’t think this is the position of the Italian government, which in the past has had cordial and positive relations with Russia.”

Russian President Vladimir Putin gave a short but defiant speech at a Victory Day parade in which he neither declared war on Ukraine nor claimed victory in his 74-day-old “special operation.”
The celebration was a typical show of Russia’s military might, which has been put to the test in Ukraine. A flyover fighter jet accompaniment was canceled due to what the Kremlin called “bad weather”—but what in reality appeared to show itself as sunny skies with light winds.
Russians hoping to catch their leader on state television were instead greeted with the replacement of every single program with a rare message of truth:
“On your hands is the blood of thousands of Ukrainians and their hundreds of murdered children. TV and the authorities are lying. No to war.”
The hack—reported by BBC and other media—was quickly remedied, but undoubtedly dampened the spirits of Putin supporters hoping to keep quell the reality of the bloodshed.
British defense analyst Nicholas Drummond called the affair “low key,” telling CNN that it seemed that Putin used it mostly to show he still had solid support among those in his inner circle.
“But there was a discipline and precision about it that was absent last time,” he said. “Look of steely resolve on many faces. This suggests that Putin has consolidated his power base rather than being weakened by recent events.”
Many of his pronouncements, including that NATO had “surrounded” Russia and was planning to invade the “motherland,” were not only falsehoods but farcical.
“President Putin has made a number of fairytale claims for months and years now... If it wasn’t so tragic, it would be amusing, but it isn’t,” U.K. Defense Secretary Ben Wallace said, according to the BBC.
“One of his claims is that he is surrounded. NATO accounts for 6 percent of his land border. That’s not being surrounded if only 6 percent of your land border is NATO countries.”
Wallace said the speech also gave a window into the Russian president as a weakened leader.
“I think he is believing what he wants to believe,” he said. “A slight shine of desperation. But let me put on the record categorically: NATO, Britain, Eastern Europe is not planning to invade Russia and never has done.”
Russian state media also sent out propaganda videos purporting to show celebrations in occupied cities in Ukraine. In one that showed Enerhodar in Zaporizhzhia, which is under Russian control, hundreds of people are seen applauding a parade held there. Other social media posts showed less well-attended gatherings and rallies.
In Mariupol, now under Russian control, mayoral assistant Petro Andriushchenko said no parade was held but that Russian soldiers lit an eternal flame on a war memorial with a torch that had been ferried in from Moscow.
“The grotesque combination of the traditions of the Olympics and the Ascension of the Blessed Fire at Easter is the best demonstration of the essence of Victory Day for Russians,” Andriushchenko wrote on Telegram. “The occupiers celebrate Victory Day on the bones of Mariupol residents.”
As the muted celebration wrapped up in Red Square, hundreds of miles away, missiles struck the former resort town of Odessa—a clear sign that there is no end in sight to Putin’s wrath.

More than a century ago, Mark Twain identified two fundamental problems that would prove relevant to the Covid pandemic. “How easy it is to make people believe a lie,” he wrote, “and how hard it is to undo that work again!” No convincing evidence existed at the start of the pandemic that lockdowns, school closures, and mask mandates would protect people against the virus, but it was remarkably easy to make the public believe that these policies were “the science.” Today, thanks to two years of actual scientific evidence, it’s clearer than ever that these were terrible mistakes; yet most people still believe that the measures were worthwhile—and many are eager to maintain some mandates even longer.
Undoing this deception is essential to avoid further hardship and future fiascos, but it will be exceptionally hard to do. The problem is that so many people want to keep believing the falsehood—and it’s not just the politicians, bureaucrats, researchers, and journalists who don’t want to admit that they promoted disastrous policies. Ordinary citizens have an incentive, too. Adults meekly surrendered their most basic liberties, cheered on leaders who devastated the economy, and imposed two years of cruel and unnecessary deprivations on their children. They don’t want to admit that these sacrifices were in vain.
They’re engaging in “effort justification,” a phenomenon famously demonstrated in 1959 with an experiment involving a tame version of a hazing ritual. Social psychologists Elliot Aronson and Judson Mills offered female undergraduate students a chance to join a discussion group on the psychology of sex, but first some of them had to pass an “embarrassment test.” In the mild version of the test, some students read aloud words like “prostitute” and “petting.” Others had to pass a more severe version by reading aloud from novels with explicit sex scenes and lots of anatomical obscenities (much more embarrassing for a young woman in the 1950s than for students today). Afterward, all the students, including some who hadn’t been required to pass any test, listened in on a session of the discussion group, which the researchers had staged to be a “dull and banal” conversation about the secondary sexual behavior of lower-order animals. The participants spoke haltingly, hemmed and hawed, didn’t finish their sentences, mumbled non sequiturs, and “in general conducted one of the most worthless and uninteresting discussions imaginable.”
But it didn’t seem that way to the women who’d undergone the severe embarrassment test. They were far more likely than the other students to give the discussion and the participants high ratings for being interesting and intelligent. The experiment confirmed the then-novel theory of cognitive dissonance: the young women didn’t like thinking that they’d gone through an ordeal for the sake of a worthless reward, so they avoided this mental discomfort (cognitive dissonance) by rewriting reality to justify their effort. Other studies showed the same effect in people who had undergone real-life initiation rituals to join fraternities and other groups. The more effort involved in the initiation ritual, the more valuable seemed the reward of membership.
And even if they honestly evaluated the pandemic strategies, how much impact would the report have? The mainstream press would probably either ignore it, as it ignored a recent meta-analysis concluding that lockdowns had “little to no effect” on Covid mortality, or attack it with the same tactics used to smear the Great Barrington Declaration as “not mainstream.”
Those are the hard truths that Americans need to hear after two years of Covid hazing. It won’t be easy convincing them that they fell for a deception, but it can be done, as DeSantis demonstrated at a recent appearance in Florida when he urged a group of high school students on the podium to take off their masks. “We’ve got to stop with this Covid theater,” he said. “If you want to wear it, fine, but this is ridiculous.” As usual, the facts were distorted by the press, which pretended that by giving the students a choice, DeSantis was somehow guilty of “bullying”—as if these poor students hadn’t been bullied for two solid years into wearing masks that they didn’t need. Some students on the podium kept their masks on, looking like meek pledges during Hell Week, but a few were emboldened to uncover their faces and breathe fresh air. At least for the moment, they were free to wonder whether this ridiculous fraternity was worth staying in anymore.

More than a century ago, Mark Twain identified two fundamental problems that would prove relevant to the Covid pandemic. “How easy it is to make people believe a lie,” he wrote, “and how hard it is to undo that work again!” No convincing evidence existed at the start of the pandemic that lockdowns, school closures, and mask mandates would protect people against the virus, but it was remarkably easy to make the public believe that these policies were “the science.” Today, thanks to two years of actual scientific evidence, it’s clearer than ever that these were terrible mistakes; yet most people still believe that the measures were worthwhile—and many are eager to maintain some mandates even longer.
Undoing this deception is essential to avoid further hardship and future fiascos, but it will be exceptionally hard to do. The problem is that so many people want to keep believing the falsehood—and it’s not just the politicians, bureaucrats, researchers, and journalists who don’t want to admit that they promoted disastrous policies. Ordinary citizens have an incentive, too. Adults meekly surrendered their most basic liberties, cheered on leaders who devastated the economy, and imposed two years of cruel and unnecessary deprivations on their children. They don’t want to admit that these sacrifices were in vain.

Sweden Suffered Fewer Deaths Per Capita Than Much of Europe Despite Refusing to Enforce Strict Lockdowns
New figures from the World Health Organization show that Sweden had fewer COVID deaths per capita than much of Europe despite refusing to enforce strict lockdowns and mask mandates like numerous other nearby countries.
“In 2020 and 2021, the country had an average excess death rate of 56 per 100,000 – compared to 109 in the UK, 111 in Spain, 116 in Germany and 133 in Italy,” reports the Telegraph.
However, the report hastens to add that lower obesity levels and better general health also played a major role.
“Of course, we’ve known for a while that enough evidence exists to question the effectiveness of lockdowns,” reports Zero Hedge.
A study conducted by Johns Hopkins University and released in February concluded that global lockdowns have had a much more detrimental impact on society than they have produced any benefit, with researchers urging that they “are ill-founded and should be rejected as a pandemic policy instrument.”
