Many people believe that the Obama-Biden administration is using (and will be using) the war against Russia in Ukraine to acquire political capital, even though the war does not concern the USA at all. They are 100% right in the first part of their statement but dismally wrong in the second part.
The war against Russia in Ukraine today is, in fact, World War IV. Russia started it to take revenge for the loss of World War III—the Cold War (exactly as Germany started World War II as revenge for losing World War I). Putin clearly and—what is important—openly formulated Russia’s goals in his notorious speech in Munich (2007).
During Trump’s presidency, Putin did not dare to move but, as soon as Biden was established in the White House, Russia started preparing for a big war against Ukraine. His ultimate goal isn’t to destroy the Ukrainian state; it’s to liquidate Ukrainians as a nation. (In the Russian narrative, Ukrainians are “under-Russians,” or “unfinished Russians.”)
Biden’s semantic discussion about the differences between “incursion” and “invasion” of Ukraine gave Putin the green light. The Democratic administration did everything for Putin to win: from signaling that his “incursion” would be tolerated to the indecent move of the American embassy out of Kyiv on February 14 (ten days before the invasion; the embassy is still not in Kyiv, as far as I know) to the even more indecent proposal for Zelensky to flee the country.
The Bidenites wanted Ukraine delivered to Putin on a silver platter. Let it be emphasized: Biden has a weighty personal reason to want to destroy Zelensky’s government because the Ukrainians possess documents that constitute evidence of both Bidens’ financial and political misdeeds in Ukraine. Unfortunately for Biden, the Ukrainian bravery, Zelensky’s firmness, and Russian incompetence thwarted his plans.
The Bidenites, meanwhile, followed Lenin’s slogan: “If you cannot stop a hostile movement, try to head it!” (I grant them the independence of this discovery: I don’t think they read a lot....) They rushed to make a show of their support. Pelosi in Kyiv—what can be more disgusting and treacherous! But the reality being what it is, Biden’s Democrat administration must do whatever is within its reach to manifest support for democracy against barbarism.
In sum, we must understand that we, all of the West, are fighting WWIV against a rogue Communist-Nazi-Mafia country. We must be fearless if we do not want the Russian nuclear blackmail to continue. Most importantly, we must see through the Democrats’ maneuvering. They will go through the motions to look like genuine defenders of democracy, even as they go out of the way to violate the Constitution, destroy democracy in America, and establish an American version of a communist state.
They are traitors to the Constitution and America and must be treated as such—no matter what they do in Ukraine. This said, the war in Ukraine must be won!
Scott the people of Ukraine are the bravest of this generation. Our President has done quite well all things considered but he's never going to be popular.
WASHINGTON — As President Joe Biden ramps up his efforts to help Democrats in the midterm elections, he’s focused on a selling point that, so far, voters aren’t: his plan to rebuild the county’s infrastructure.
Standing in an industrial building near the Port of New Hampshire last month, flanked by construction and boating equipment, Biden talked dredging, bridges and lead pipes.
“Folks, this matters. It matters to our safety, our security, our health," Biden told the crowd there as he promoted the $550 billion infrastructure package he shepherded through Congress last year.
The president's second trip in six months to New Hampshire, where Democratic Sen. Maggie Hassan is expected to face a tough re-election fight, was just the latest in a steady string of stops designed to highlight the legislation.
But yet again that day, by most objective measures, much of the country’s focus lay elsewhere — on a court order lifting the mask requirement on airplanes, on the impact of surging inflation, and on Russia’s renewed assault on Ukraine.
Just like you said here.
If the Democrats keep the Senate majority in November then the crazy wing won't be able to impeach him in revenge.
The wild card is the Roe v Wade decision.
If it is overturned, the Democrats will have a social issue that will help them in November.
And like I said before the Democrats have to find a strong centrist like Obama in 2008.
I still think that Kavanaugh will swing with Roberts
From the moment of fertilization, I don't believe that the government has the right to control a woman's body until the second trimester. Not on religious beliefs. It is not an easy decision but the woman should not be subject to legal terms.
Of course it is a difficult decision.
The biggest problem is that they block rape and incest!
Of course it is a human being that second. I understand 👍 but she should have the right in the first trimester...
GOP lawmaker who was raped says 'vast majority of Republicans' support abortion rights
David Edwards
May 08, 2022
Rep. Nancy Mace (R-SC) argued on Sunday that it was important for pro-choice Republicans to speak up after a leaked ruling indicated the Supreme Court will overturn federal abortion rights.
During an interview on Face the Nation, host Margaret Brennan noted that Mace had spoken out about abortion rights because she was a victim of rape.
"You said that it took you 25 years to talk about your attack and that you only shared it with your mother and one of your good friends," Brennan observed. "So I wonder what you think about some of these restrictions in states that would require rape victims to provide police reports in order to obtain an abortion."
"From experience as a state lawmaker, I know that South Carolina's fetal heartbeat bill would not have passed without exceptions for rape, incest and life of the mother," Mace insisted. "And I told that story. I thought it was a really important story that's often missed and not told because women are afraid."
Mace revealed that she is often attacked on social media for speaking about her rape.
"And one of the things that I think that's missing in this conversation is that, when you have it, when Ohio did their fetal heartbeat bill, there was a 10-year-old girl that had been found to be pregnant that was raped repeatedly by her father," she recalled. "And so, I know it's part of the Republican Party platform. The vast majority of Republicans support those exceptions for rape and incest and life of the mother."
She added: "And it's important for some of us to step forward and tell those stories that are often missed in all of this."
The Associated Press reported over the weekend that many conservative states are looking to eliminate exceptions for rape and incest if the Supreme Court allows them to outlaw abortion.

Citigroup has now been joined by Amazon, Apple, Yelp, Match Group, Tesla and Levi Strauss & Company, all which have said they will offer travel assistance to employees who are in states that restrict abortions. Insiders at JP Morgan and Goldman Sachs have told news outlets they too are considering similar policies.

US companies break long silence on abortion rights
AFP
May 07, 2022
After carefully avoiding the taboo topic for decades, more and more US companies are taking a stand on the right to abortion, a sign of a new generation with growing influence and very different expectations than their predecessors.
Mere hours after the leak of a draft Supreme Court opinion indicating the national right to abortion would be overturned, a variety of American businesses began to react publicly.
"Given what is at stake, business leaders need to make their voices heard and act to protect the health and well-being of our employees," Levi Strauss said in a statement. "That means protecting reproductive rights."
Like the iconic denim brand, Apple has also pledged to cover costs for employees who have to travel to another state to get an abortion.
Revoking the nationwide right to abortion "will jeopardize the human rights of millions of women," the review platform Yelp told AFP, saying it would have "a seismic impact on our society and economy" and urging other companies to "step up to safeguard their employees."
Since Texas in September implemented a law banning abortion after six weeks -- before many women even know they are pregnant, and with no exceptions for rape or incest -- the stigma on speaking out has started to break.
Amazon, Uber and even the bank Citigroup have all announced they will cover the additional costs that the Texas legislation might cause for their employees.
"We're in a very unusual political time where this issue's come back up as a pressing political issue, and it will force companies to take a stand," said Maurice Schweitzer, a professor at the University of Pennsylvania's Wharton business school.
"Businesses that are located in states that might overturn (abortion access), they have to make a decision one way or the other: Are they going to offer that benefit in terms of travel to a location where those services could be accessed? Or are they not?" said Neeru Paharia, a professor at the Georgetown University McDonough School of Business.
"It kind of forces a lot of these (companies) to take a stand on this issue."
According to The New York Times, Tesla, which moved its headquarters from California to Texas, has also pledged to cover its employees' abortion-related expenses

Senator Kirsten Gillibrand on Sunday called the battle over abortion rights in the US the “biggest fight of a generation”.
The New York Democrat urged her party to stand up to concerted efforts from Republicans seeking to abolish the constitutional right, and called the news of the draft US supreme court opinion leaked last week revealing a conservative-leaning super-majority support overturning the landmark 1973 Roe v Wade decision “bone-chilling”.

She told CNN’s State of the Union Sunday politics talk show: “This is the biggest fight of a generation … and if America’s women and the men who love them do not fight right now, we will lose the basic right to make decisions, to have bodily autonomy and to decide what our futures look like.”
Mississippi long-time Republican governor Tate Reeves praised the draft ruling.
His state has the case currently before the court that includes the option not just to severely restrict the procedure further but specifically to overturn the Roe v Wade opinion that made abortion a federal right, which was reaffirmed by the supreme court in 1992.
“While this is a great victory for the pro-life movement, it is not the end. In fact, it’s just the beginning,” Reeves said. A ban in Mississippi would not make exceptions for incest or a fetus with severe abnormalities that would stand little chance of surviving after birth.
He talked of providing more education for women, to help them get better jobs to support children.

Gillibrand called Reeves “paternalistic” and his and the court’s stance outrageous.
“It’s taking away women’s right for life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness, our right to be a full citizen,” she said, adding that women are “half citizens under this ruling and if this is put into law, it changes the foundation of America”.
Well it's been several days since I have had it happen to me, perhaps a week. And I usually am monitoring this site at my desktop while "working" on other things, mostly the stock market or related. I rarely post from my phone but it does appear to happen more frequently there. If I get one "non-post" on my phone I give up. I once tried several times without a posting "success" and for me its cumbersome to post from the phone.
Never have had continued problems from my desktop that I can recall. Again, I'd guess the first time it happened to me was a year or so ago and maybe 10-15 times total over the past year.
I still think Google is behind all this
And perhaps Biden

Even the most progressive countries regulate abortion through the democratic process. In Germany, it’s illegal after 12 weeks of pregnancy — more restrictive than the case before the US Supreme Court that bars abortion after 15 weeks. European countries where the legal cutoff is even more restrictive: Austria, Spain, Greece, Italy, France, Belgium and Switzerland. Abortion enshrined as a constitutional right? Not even in super-progressive Canada.
The United States, in other words, has been an outlier in the past and, if Roe is reversed, will return to a democratic politics of abortion, in line with most of the Western world. And so I wonder: why is this so terrifying for pro-choicers?
If you look at polling, there is very little support in America for a total ban — let alone one that doesn’t make exceptions for rape and incest. Gallup’s polling suggests that a whopping 80 percent of Americans want to keep abortion legal, either entirely (32 percent) or with some restrictions (48 percent). Only 18 percent want it banned entirely — a position many Republicans are now forced to take. That should be a Democratic dream!
Maybe it has to do with the sheer volume of characters posted by roger and the "pastor". No one here comes close to that except me sometimes when I deliberately match their volume, mostly to just annoy them. I will be watching the Angels 😇 but this is very dangerous 😳
President Joe Biden authorized another tranche of military aid to Ukraine and leveled new sanctions on Moscow this week, as the West braces for a possible escalation of the conflict from Russia’s unpredictable leader on Monday.
The U.S. president’s latest show of military support came just days ahead of Russia’s May 9 anniversary of the defeat of the Nazis in World War II. It is a milestone Russian President Vladimir Putin plans to mark with an extravagant military parade through the streets of Moscow — and potentially a formal declaration of war against Ukraine.
Many analysts believe Putin had hoped to use Victory Day to declare a military victory in the conflict. But ten weeks after the invasion, Moscow has failed to conquer Kyiv and is making plodding progress in the eastern Donbas region.
Instead, experts and Western officials now believe Putin may mark the holiday by declaring a more limited victory in the southern city of Mariupol, which has been under bombardment from Russian airstrikes for weeks, and in the Donbas, which Russia first invaded in 2014 and where Moscow has concentrated most of its forces in recent weeks. Taking Mariupol is key to creating a land bridge connecting Russia to Crimea.
But looming over the holiday is the fear Putin will use the day to double down on the invasion and announce a full-scale mobilization or call-up of reservists to replenish his depleted forces in Ukraine. Already, Russia has reportedly ramped up its offensive in eastern Ukraine ahead of Victory Day.
...as Russia's war in Ukraine continues, the U.S. and other Western allies are hitting it with more economic sanctions.
One-quarter of respondents [to confidential Russian polling] say they already feel the effect of those sanctions, according to Volkov. People who are from disadvantaged groups are suffering the most, he adds, because they don't have the resources to adapt.
On the other hand, Volkov says that people in big cities who are well-off and well-connected do have the resources, but are suffering "morally."
By that, he means that those who were most connected to the outside world might have been less inclined to support Putin's military operation, but now find themselves cut off from the West. That means they're on conflicting sides — and feel the shunning of Russia most of all.
If healthy political party would thrill at this opportunity — a winning issue where the GOP has gone off the deep end. In the states likely to ‘trigger’ total bans if Roe falls, 43 percent of adults on average say abortion should be legal in most or all cases, while 52 percent say it should be illegal in most or all cases. That’s a highly winnable fight.!
In states which might re-enact some kind of abortion restrictions, ‘an average of 49 percent of adults say abortion should be legal in most or all cases, compared with 45 percent who say otherwise’ — even more promising terrain for Democrats.
But I don't think they will succeed except in the Senate.
No, officer, I should not be arrested for trespassing. Somebody else broke the door down and busted out the window, and I just went in peacefully after that.

As many as 60 people may have been killed when Russian forces bombed a Ukrainian school, the local governor said Sunday, according to Reuters.
The school, located in Bilohorivka in the Luhansk Oblast, was reportedly bombed on Saturday afternoon as around 90 people took shelter inside.
"The fire was extinguished after nearly four hours, then the rubble was cleared, and, unfortunately, the bodies of two people were found," Governor Serhiy Gaidai wrote on Telegram. As of Sunday morning, 30 people had been rescued, but the full death toll remained unclear.
Last week, the United Nations Office of the High Commissioner for Human Rights announced that the confirmed civilian death toll for the war in Ukraine had topped 3,000, including over 200 children. The war against Russia in Ukraine is World War IV
By Igor Mel’čuk

What is clear is that opponents of Roe want to punish women and take away their rights to make decisions about their own bodies.

Like I said before I know a good friend who was raped by a police officer in Rapid City. Under the law at that time she would have give birth..
He eventually got caught and died in prison.

Even employers are offering assistance to women who want an abortion 🤔

First trimester infants don't have fully functioning heart, other organs, fingerprints and the ability to feel pain
Killing a pregnant woman is considered a double murder and is often considered special circumstances that allow for the death penalty.
Have innocent people been put to death by the justice system or given life sentences without parole because of this "incorrect" legal principle ?
I don't believe that but the left apparently does.
First trimester infants don't have fully functioning heart, other organs, fingerprints and the ability to feel pain.

Justin Trudeau Makes Surprise Visit to Ukraine

“Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau made a surprise visit to Irpin, Ukraine on Sunday, the town’s mayor Olexander Markushyn said in a Telegram post alongside photos of Trudeau walking around the town,” Axios reports.
Yawn.
...as Russia's war in Ukraine continues, the U.S. and other Western allies are hitting it with more economic sanctions.

The OHCHR also said that many civilian deaths — most of which have been caused by "explosive weapons with a wide impact area," including artillery and air strikes — remain unconfirmed.
UNLIKE YOU I HOPE THE CIVILIAN DEATH RATE HAS NOT BEEN SO HIGH BECAUSE I AM NOT ROOTIN FOR POOTING.

And while violent BLM and antifa "protestors" had charges just dismissed
There was no conspiracy, the FBI grudgingly has admitted
there was no insurrection

No pedo as cold explained earlier it’s affecting you and Roger multiple postings of the same shit, the software is CORRECTLY sssuming it’s spam
No, officer, I should not be arrested for trespassing. Somebody else broke the door down and busted out the window, and I just went in peacefully after that.
So in other words....
I am correct and you are a liar... again!
The most dishonest clergy I have known.
It's almost as if you are not aware that there are multiple entrances to what is a large building and that some people were literally waved in (there is video evidence of this) on the side of the building where they would have not even known what was happening.
But the Reverend apparently believes that every person who entered the building was "violent"...
No evidence of it that he can provide.
But he can apparently roll on the ground laughing at the idea that non-violent people are held without bail for over year... yeah! Very Christian of the Reverend.
But he will defend the people attacking the police in LA and other places in protest of the presupposed Roe ruling.
Here is what the Reverend did:

EXPLAIN THAT AWAY, IF YOU CAN.
Pederast AI ‘evolves’ you and the Alky are viewed as spam with the constant multiple identical postings.
We all know you aren’t bright
The only reason I posted seven of the same post is because yesterday I could make an article stick once or twice by doing that. Today that finally worked, but later it did not work. So I left. I just came back, and posted the 6:10.
At least I can say I do not nor can I nor would I even if I could delete other people's posts.
I have too much self respect to do that.
Somebody does not.
Crickets chirping, chirping, chirping for TEN minutes.
It’s not a person dumbass, it’s software.
Why would software delete the one and only post I posted on Ukraine after I had posted only three times this afternoon?

Where is an amendment permitting abortion?
Where is an amendment precluding abortion?
Want to go that route?
A national referendum would allow the men and WOMEN of America to make that decision, not a minority of old white men.
Stupid that has been the point the entire time.
9 people in black robes, unaccountable to the public couldn’t decide this to anyones satisfaction and if Robert’s bastardize’s another opinion to avoid rancor it won’t help the country
It should be in the hands OF THE PEOPLE, BY THE PEOPLE, FOR THE PEOPLE
You tout that frequently and truly don’t understand it
And no I don’t think it takes an amendment, leave it to the states
If it angers the electorate of that state, throw’em out
