Hundreds of thousands of dollars in bribes to Pennsylvania election Judges..

Democrat Pleads Guilty to Ballot Stuffing in Pennsylvania
According to the report, Myers bribed a judge of elections in Philidelphia to add votes to the candidates of his choice, again, all Democrats. Those bribes totaled hundreds of thousands of dollars, so this was no small operation. Further, Myers also conspired with another elections judge in a scheme to push people to vote for certain candidates. Lastly, that judge also cast votes for candidates who weren’t even on the ballot.
Whether those judges are themselves being prosecuted isn’t mentioned in the DOJ press release that Fox is basing its report on. It’s probable that they were willing to testify against Myers and may have received some kind of immunity. I would hope not, though, given how serious of a crime accepting bribes is.
Two things come to mind here folks. Number one is how many people suggest that this stuff "never happens" and number two is how many people suggest that election officials are honest non-partisan citizens. These are dangerously naive views, but apparently required if you want to be a modern day liberal.

The idea Pennsylvania being a hotbed of fraud is not new. They have been in the heart of pretty much every questionable election over the past few cycles. The state is generally won by razor thin margins and it would take very little to change an outcome.

Restate is fucking stupid 😒 and you are gullible

Of course, the response to this will be that it happened prior to the 2020 election. But anyone who thinks this is an isolated incident in a place like Philidelphia is as naive as they come. In 2020, because of the sudden, likely illegal changes to election rules, including mass mail-in voting, ballot stuffing would have been far easier than in past elections. The idea that absolutely nothing untoward went on when ballot stuffing schemes existed in 2014-2018 is laughable, and anyone not being completely obtuse will admit that.

These major blue cities are plagued with election issues, and those in charge have no incentive to clean things up. For the foreseeable future, Republicans will have to run campaigns that run around corruption that isn’t going anywhere.

This is classic propaganda 🤣

A staffer for Donald Trump’s presidential campaign instructed Republicans planning to cast electoral college votes for Trump in Georgia despite Joe Biden’s victory to operate in “complete secrecy,” an email obtained by The Washington Post shows.

“I must ask for your complete discretion in this process,” wrote Robert Sinners, the campaign’s election operations director for Georgia, the day before the 16 Republicans gathered at the Georgia Capitol to sign certificates declaring themselves duly elected. “Your duties are imperative to ensure the end result — a win in Georgia for President Trump — but will be hampered unless we have complete secrecy and discretion.”

The Dec. 13, 2020, email went on to instruct the electors to tell security guards at the building that they had an appointment with one of two state senators. “Please, at no point should you mention anything to do with Presidential Electors or speak to the media,”

He was upset about the leak decision

The Washington Post reported that the man, who it said was in his mid-20s, was angry about the draft opinion.

Citing an unnamed law enforcement official, the Associated Press reported that the man is from California, was armed with a gun and a knife and had arrived at Kavanaugh’s home in a taxi.

Coldheartedtruth Teller said...

He did that 8 and 4 years ago.

You really believe that it matters now

A former congressman from Philadelphia pleaded guilty Monday to charges related to fraudulently stuffing ballot boxes for Democratic candidates between 2014 and 2018.

Well Roger...

I can count the hours before some liberal will demand that no fraud exists and that nobody ever is arrested or charged with it. But they will continue to demand that voter "suppression" is a huge problem, while losing lawsuit after lawsuit for failure to produce even "one" actual real person who cannot get an ID or figure out how to find a polling station.

Fucking piece of SHIT. Life in prison without the possibility of parole:

TROY — A Troy councilwoman on Wednesday pleaded guilty to a felony criminal charge in U.S. District Court, becoming the first person snared in a federal grand jury investigation examining widespread ballot-fraud allegations in Rensselaer County.

Councilwoman Kim Ashe-McPherson, 61, a Republican who chairs the council's public safety committee and has been a councilwoman in North Troy for more than seven years, admitted to fraudulently submitting absentee ballots in last year's primary and general elections as she sought re-election to the City Council. As part of her guilty plea she also agreed to resign from her City Council position within 30 days.

What Democratic leaders fail to appreciate is that our society seems to be reverting to the factional, regional and violent version of America that existed before television — during a long 19th century from which we awoke only briefly and imperfectly. The calls to execute the vice president of the United States, which the president allegedly heard and seemed to acknowledge, have proved insufficient to arouse the conservative movement and the Republican Party’s remaining scruples. A terrifying historical counterfactual is that the only thing that might have gotten enough of the G.O.P. on board to matter would have been if the rioters had actually gone through with it, and even then, it’s hard to be sure.

OT but

Nicholas John Roske, 26, of Simi Valley, Calif., was charged with attempted murder after two U.S. deputy marshals saw him step out of taxicab in front of the justice’s house in Chevy Chase, Md., early Wednesday morning, dressed in black and carrying a suitcase, according to the U.S. attorney’s office in Maryland.

Mr. Roske saw the two deputies, who were standing next to their parked car, and walked down the street, according to a federal affidavit.

Soon after, the Montgomery County Emergency Communications Center received a call from Mr. Roske, who said he was having suicidal thoughts and had a firearm in his suitcase, according to the affidavit.

He said he had traveled from California to Maryland “to kill a specific United States Supreme Court Justice,” the affidavit said.

Officers from the Montgomery County Police Department arrived and found Mr. Roske still on the phone with the communications center.

Mr. Roske told the police “that he was upset about the leak of a recent Supreme Court draft decision regarding the right to abortion as well as the recent school shooting in Uvalde, Texas,” the affidavit stated. “Roske indicated that he believed the justice that he intended to kill would side with Second Amendment decisions that would loosen gun control laws.”

When the authorities searched his suitcase and a backpack, they found a “black tactical chest rig and tactical knife,” a pistol with two magazines and ammunition, pepper spray, zip ties, a hammer, a screwdriver, a nail punch, a crowbar, a pistol light and duct tape, in addition to other items, according to the affidavit.

If he is convicted, Mr. Roske could face up to 20 years in federal prison. He was scheduled to appear in U.S. District Court in Maryland on Wednesday afternoon.

The big deal is the country is more divided than I can remember. .

I actually watched the debate between JFK and Nixon.

The Mayor of Chicago got dead people votes for JFK. Nixon knew it but he still accepted the results.

We have to address it

The big picture: Congress has been considering legislation that would increase security for federal judges and their families after protests erupted outside the homes of Supreme Court justices over the leaked draft, Axios' Andrew Solender reports.

The legislation was also in response to a shooting at the New Jersey home of a federal judge in 2020 that killed her son and wounded her husband. The U.S. Marshals Service has been providing "around-the-clock security" at the homes of all justices since May, according to the Department of Justice. The Department of Homeland Security recently warned that the U.S. faces an increased threat of violence stemming in part from domestic extremists and potential civil unrest surrounding the court's ultimate decision on abortion rights.

Both sides.

Attorney General Merrick Garland on Wednesday announced that a Department of Justice team of nine people will review local law enforcement's response to the Uvalde mass shooting, in which 19 children and two adults were killed last month.

Why it matters: Local and state law enforcement officials in Texas have faced intense criticism as more details about their immediate response to the Robb Elementary school shooting have emerged.

The Justice Department's review is not a criminal investigation but an examination of law enforcement officials' actions and failures, conducted by its Office of Community Oriented Policing Services (COPS).The review was requested by Uvalde Mayor Don McLaughlin and will culminate in a report that will be made public, with its findings and recommendations.

What they're saying: "The review will be comprehensive, it will be transparent and it will be independent," Garland said.

"We will be assessing what happened that day. We will be doing site visits at the school. We will be conducting interviews [with] an extremely wide variety of stakeholders, witnesses, families, law enforcement, government officials, school officials," he added. The review will be led by COPS director Robert Chapman and the office's senior counsel and will involve current and former law enforcement officials, including former police chiefs and an FBI official.
