Disgusting Democrats perfectly fine with political violence over issues they support

Democrats Show How They Feel About Violence Against Pro-Life Organizations
Try not to be too surprised, but House Democrats on Tuesday blocked a resolution introduced by Republicans that would have offered a condemnation against the violence that pro-abortionists have been carrying out against pro-life organizations. Apparently, the pro-abortion crowd isn’t even trying to hide their support for these acts anymore, which could create a more dangerous situation for volunteers working at these organizations.
After the Supreme Court’s eventual ruling to overturn Roe v. Wade was leaked in May, it did not take long for pro-abortion activists to begin attacks against pro-life organizations. They firebombed and vandalized crisis pregnancy centers, churches, and other groups. Jane’s Revenge, a newly-formed pro-abortion domestic terrorist group, claimed credit for many of the acts of violence, vowing to continue carrying them out until abortion was the law of the land once again.
In one instance, these thugs vandalized the offices of Wisconsin Family Action’s Madison office, hurling Molotov cocktails into the building. They scrawled graffiti on one of the walls that read: “If abortions aren’t safe, then you aren’t either.”
Overall, there have been over 100 acts of arson or vandalism perpetrated at pro-life organizations since it became apparent that Roe would be overturned. The resolution, which was introduced by Rep. Mike Johnson (R-LA), would have given an overarching condemnation of pro-abortion violence and vandalism against pro-life nonprofits and churches. After 219 Democrats voted down the measure, Johnson said their actions “emboldened” these people to continue targeting these organizations.

As far as I know, the Democrats have offered no real explanation for voting against a resolution that condemns political violence. After all, liberals firebombing Federal buildings, attacking police officers, and vandalizing anything associated with anything conservative is everyday business for the left.

The irony is that these same people who are okay with molotov cocktails and other forms of political violence are still screaming for the blood of peaceful protesters who got too close to the Capitol over 18 months ago.

As the great Rat philosopher once stated: Hypocrisy is the bedrock of liberalism!

The Secret Service’s actions are very fishy 🐟

A senior Secret Service official told NBC News on Wednesday that agency employees had been reminded in two separate emails to preserve records on their mobile devices before that replacement process began.

The letter sent Tuesday, obtained by NBC, said that Homeland Security’s inspector general “specifically requested text messages sent or received by 24 Secret Service personnel during the period of December 7, 2020 through January 8, 2021.”

After receiving that request, the letter said that the Secret Service identified “a text message conversation from former U.S. Capitol Police Chief Steven Sund to former Secret Service Uniformed Division Chief Thomas Sullivan requesting assistance on January 6, 2021 and advised that the agency did not have any further records responsive to [the inspector general’s] request for text messages.”

Any other texts sent by agents around that time are unlikely to be recoverable, multiple outlets have reported.

Rep. Zoe Lofgren, D-Calif., one of nine members of the select committee, said in an MSNBC interview Tuesday that the panel “got one text message” from the Secret Service. That message may not be new, Lofgren said: “It is clear to me, that is a text message that may have been captured through another branch of government.”

The Secret Service said it has turned over a total of 10,569 pages of documents by the Tuesday deadline, NBC reported.

“The Secret Service continues to engage in extensive efforts to further assess whether any relevant text messages sent or received by 24 individuals identified by [Cuffari’s office] were lost due to the Intune migration and, if so, whether such texts are recoverable,” the letter added.

Meanwhile, the National Archives and Records Administration on Tuesday asked the Secret Service to investigate the “potential unauthorized deletion” of the texts in question.

Like many states, New Mexico had drastically curtailed the operation of its courts in response to the pandemic. Some civil trials and preliminary hearings for criminal matters moved online, but actual criminal trials needed to be conducted in person in front of juries. Bernalillo County, which includes Albuquerque, suspended such trials for much of 2020 and 2021. Meanwhile, new cases kept pouring in, partly as a result of the surge in violent crime that accompanied the pandemic. The nation’s homicide rate rose by nearly 30 percent in 2020 and another 5 percent in 2021, essentially erasing two decades’ worth of declines in deadly violence.

New Legislation Would Clarify Electoral Count Act
July 20, 2022 at 1:54 pm EDT By Taegan Goddard 35 Comments

“A bipartisan group of 16 senators on Wednesday released legislation that would clarify an 1887 law that then-President Donald Trump and his allies tried to use as part of their attempt to overturn the 2020 election results,” the Washington Post reports.

“The legislation, which comes after months of negotiations, would attempt to more clearly define the role of states, presidential electors and the vice president in a presidential election in an effort to prevent the events of Jan. 6, 2021 in the future.”

NBC News: “The bills come as the House’s Jan. 6 committee prepares to holds its last public hearing — at least for the time being — on Thursday outlining evidence it has received in connection to what it calls a plot to overturn the result of the 2020 election.”

The crazyist in history people support Trump .

Trump-backed election conspiracy theorist Maryland state Del. Dan Cox won the state's Republican gubernatorial primary on Tuesday after leading an effort to impeach Republican Gov. Larry Hogan and speaking at a QAnon conference earlier this year.

Cox, who called former Vice President Mike Pence a "traitor" during the Jan. 6 Capitol riot, defeated Kelly Schulz, who served in Hogan's administration.

Hogan, a prominent Trump critic who supported Schulz, repeatedly blasted Cox during the campaign over his extremist views, labeling him a "QAnon whackjob" after he spoke at a QAnon rally in April.

Cox fully embraced Trump's repeatedly debunked conspiracy theories about the election, declaring in December that Trump was "the only president that I recognize."

Biden’s Approval Slides to New Low In Another Poll

A new Quinnipiac poll finds President Biden with an upside down
31% to 60% job approval rating, the lowest score of his presidency.

Americans give Republicans in Congress a negative
23% to 68% job approval rating,
while Democrats in Congress get a

BUT
In the generic ballot,

44% say the Republican Party, and
11% did not offer an opinion.

Bowers testified to the House January 6 committee on 21 June. Discussing Trump’s claim that Bowers told him the Arizona election was “rigged”, Bowers said: “Anyone, anywhere, anytime I said the election was rigged, that would not be true.”

Bowers also recalled a conversation with Rudy Giuliani in which Trump’s personal lawyer, a key player in the attempt to prove mass electoral fraud, allegedly said: “We’ve got lots of theories but we just don’t have the evidence.”

Bowers also spoke about how his Christian faith motivated his defiance of Trump, and described threats made to his safety by Trump supporters while his daughter lay mortally ill.

Like Liz Cheney, one of two Republicans on the January 6 committee and its vice-chair, Bowers was given a Profile in Courage award for his resistance to Trump.

After the hearing at which he appeared, though, it emerged that Bowers had previously told the Associated Press: “If [Trump] is the nominee [in 2024], if he was up against [Joe] Biden, I’d vote for him again. Simply because what he did the first time, before Covid, was so good for the country. In my view it was great.”

Republican lawmakers thank Pence for his actions on January 6 and encourage him to run in 2024
eme Court

Mick Mulvaney believes Republicans no longer need Trump

Pence's ex-adviser says a 2024 run is 'a known thing' by his close circle

(CNN)Members of the conservative Republican Study Committee thanked former Vice President Mike Pence for his actions on January 6 and encouraged him to run for President during a private meeting on Wednesday near the US Capitol in Washington, according to multiple attendees.

Rep. Don Bacon, a Nebraska Republican, said lawmakers offered Pence encouraging words about a potential presidential bid, saying they hope he plays a big role in 2024 and that they need more voices like his in the party.

Pence responded with a smile, according to Bacon, but did not tip his hand about his plans for his political future.

"People said they hope he's going to be a big voice in 2024. ... He was being encouraged: we need more of you in 2024," Bacon said. "And I would agree."

Rep. Dan Newhouse, a Washington Republican who voted to impeach then-President Donald Trump for inciting the deadly insurrection, confirmed to CNN there were multiple references to a potential Pence presidential bid during their closed-door meeting.

Pence, however, told lawmakers that he is focused right now on helping the House GOP win the 2022 midterms and offered to stump for members on the campaign trail, according to attendees. Pence also handed out a lengthy booklet detailing his agenda and policy vision for the country.

Pence's visit with the RSC, the largest conservative caucus in Congress, marks the first time he has come to Capitol Hill since leaving office, and represents an attempt to maintain key congressional alliances as he explores a potential White House run.

The meeting also comes on the eve of potentially the last prime-time hearing from the House select committee investigating the deadly riot at the US Capitol.

The committee has revealed stunning details about Trump's pressure campaign on Pence and others to overturn the 2020 election. The panel is still weighing whether to ask Pence to speak with the committee, according to members.

But despite a growing rift between Trump and Pence, Republicans on Capitol Hill had no qualms about heaping praise on Pence, a former member of the House who once chaired the RSC.

Rep. Andy Barr, a Kentucky Republican, confirmed that RSC members thanked Pence for his conduct on January 6, when he refused to give in to Trump's demands to object to the certification of the 2020 election results.

"Let me just say: the vice president
is a real moral force in our party," Barr said. "He's a real true leader, and he's earned the respect of Republicans and other Americans all over the country."

The Federalist believe that each state was an independent state, with no restrictions on their laws.

Thomas Jefferson pushed back and in the end, the federal government could write laws regulations on state laws. Plus the Supreme Court decision Marbury v Madison gave the Supreme Court the power to declare state laws violated the Constitution.

Right now the Federalist philosophy is in charge of the Supreme Court’s decision, including Roe v Wade and their is a North Carolina suit.

The State Supreme Court could not declare any legislation unconstitutional under the state constitution.

Feds close to indicting Hunter Biden on gun and tax fraud charges: report

Bob Brigham

July 20, 2022

The Trump-appointed U.S. Attorney in Delaware is nearing a critical juncture in his decision of whether to prosecute Joe Biden's son.

"First on CNN, federal investigators are reaching a critical decision point on whether or not to charge the president's son, Hunter Biden," Jake Tapper reported. "Sources tell CNN no final decision has yet been made, but charges could include alleged tax violations and lying about buying a gun when he technically was not allowed to because of his acknowledged struggle with drug addiction."

"The case is being investigated by the U.S. Attorney in Delaware, who was appointed by President Trump, and President Biden did not replace that U.S. Attorney because of this investigation," Tapper added.

MADISON, Wis. (AP) — Wisconsin Republicans erased regulations Wednesday allowing local election clerks to fill in missing information on absentee ballot envelopes, the latest move in the GOP's push to tighten voting procedures in the crucial swing state.

The Wisconsin Elections Commission developed an emergency rule earlier this year that permits local clerks to fill in missing witness address information on absentee envelopes without contact the witness or the voter. The rule reflected guidance the commission issued to clerks in October 2016. The guidance was in effect during the 2020 presidential election, which saw Joe Biden narrowly defeat then-President Donald Trump.

The Republican-controlled Legislature's rules committee voted 6-4 to suspend the emergency rule. The guidance remains in place, but it's unclear how many clerks might follow it in light of the committee vote and a court could soon erase it as well.

The committee vote is part of a string of Republican efforts to impose tighter restrictions on voting around the country as Trump continues to spread the false claim that Biden stole the election.

Multiple reviews and court decisions have found no evidence of fraud on a scale that would have affected the outcome but Trump and his supporters keep working to convince people the election wasn't legitimate.

Jan. 6 committee on Thursday will walk through, in detail, former President Trump's reported inaction during the 187 minutes that a violent mob attacked the Capitol, aiming to show that he deliberately chose not to intervene.

The big picture: Using recorded and in-person testimony, the committee will highlight evidence that Trump was fully briefed and aware of the events that were unfolding in real time on Jan. 6, and despite pleas from people inside and out of the White House, he waited several hours to intervene.

"One of the main points that we're going to make here is that President Trump ... was the sole person who could call off the mob, and he chose not to," a select committee aide told reporters.

What to expect: During the primetime 8 p.m. hearing, the committee will "demonstrate who was talking to [Trump] and what they were urging him to do in that time period," the committee said.

"We're going to talk about when he was made aware of what was going on in the Capitol. We're going to hear testimony from individuals who spoke to the president."In-person testimony from those in the West Wing, including from former deputy national security advisor Matthew Pottinger and deputy press secretary Sarah Matthews, will detail what the president, his aides, his allies and his family were doing while the rioters were inside the Capitol. The committee says they also have evidence showing how around the time Trump released a recorded video telling his supporters to finally "go home," it was clear the insurrection would fail.

The aftermath: The committee will also walk through what happened in the West Wing after the mob left, and the fallout the next day.

Witnesses: Video-taped testimony of former White House Counsel Pat Cipollone will play a crucial role in Thursday's hearing.

Cipollone had warned the president and his closest advisors in the days before and on Jan. 6 of the legal implications that would accompany Trump's urging of his armed supporters to march to Capitol Hill and protest the counting of electoral votes.Pottinger, a former journalist who was brought onto Trump's National Security Council by former national security adviser Michael Flynn, is also a significant witness.
