I do not believe that we should be counting votes by computer. I know what can be hidden in a computer program. I am a computer programmer. But, of all the problems in the last election, that is one of the problems that worries me the least. I am more worried about:
1. Not checking signatures on absentee ballots
2. Moving ballots - they should be counted where they are cast
3. Curing ballots (copying "unclear" ballots to new ones!)
4. Casting and counting ballots without observers
5. Clear violations of the equal protection clause
None of these problems can be fixed by audits. Every one of these problems is a clear opportunity for fraud. Just imagine that you were in a country where you couldn't trust the authorities. Would you count ballots without verifying that they were really cast by the right person?
Would you let ballots be moved from place to place instead of counting them where they were cast, in front of observers? Would you let government bureaucrats *copy* ballots for any reason? Would you trust anything that happened out of sight of observers?
Would you allow different voting standards and procedures to be implemented in different districts of the same state?
You would not. Because you would *know* that violations of these standards meant fraud.

The claims come in an extract of Washington Post journalists Carol Leonnig and Philip Rucker’s new book

According to the journalists, Mr Pence refused to evacuate the Capitol a number of times on 6 January as pro-Trump rioters stormed the building in a bid to prevent the certification of the 2020 election results.
Amid the riots Mr Pence was evacuated from the Senate chamber to his ceremonial office, where he remained protected by secret service agents alongside members of his family, the book’s account recalls.
However, his security reportedly thought Mr Pence was “vulnerable because the second-floor office had windows that could be breached”.
Tim Giebels, the lead special agent in charge of the former vice president’s protective detail, reportedly “twice asked Pence to evacuate the Capitol” to which Mr Pence refused, The Post said.
“I’m not leaving the Capitol,” he reportedly told Mr Giebels. “The last thing the vice president wanted was the people attacking the Capitol to see his 20-car motorcade fleeing. That would only vindicate their insurrection.”

Jayland Walker, the Black motorist killed by Ohio police last month, suffered 46 gunshot wounds in the hail of officer gunfire, the medical examiner’s office revealed Friday.
The 46 shots were from entrance and graze wounds, Summit County Medical Examiner Lisa Kohler said in a news conference announcing a summary of the autopsy findings.
Walker, 25, died of blood loss from his internal injuries and the cause of death was by multiple gunshot wounds. The manner was ruled a homicide, shot by others, Kohler said.
She broke down the injuries he suffered across his body: 15 gunshot wounds to his torso, 17 gunshots to his pelvis and upper legs, one bullet to his face, eight to his arms and right hand and five to his knees, lower right leg and right foot.
Fifteen of the 46 shots were exit wounds and five were graze wounds.
Walker tested negative for drugs of abuse and alcohol, according to the toxicology screening, Kohler said.
Walker was killed on June 27 after an attempted traffic stop by Akron police.
Officers tried to pull Walker over on an unspecified traffic violation, and a car chase ensued. During that pursuit, they “reported a firearm being discharged from the suspect vehicle,” the Akron Police Department said.

President Biden stressed in a speech after his meeting with Palestinian President Mahmoud Abbas in Bethlehem on Friday that a two-state solution based on the 1967 lines with agreed upon land swaps is the best way to achieve peace between Israel and the Palestinians.

As the chaos continued to unfold, Mr Pence was said to have been ordered to leave the office and was escorted to a “subterranean area that rioters couldn’t reach” and towards an armoured limousine.
Mr Pence then reportedly outright refused to get into the vehicle, saying his security detail would ignore his demand not to leave the building and would instead “take off” against his wishes.
“I’m not getting in the car, Tim,” Mr Pence replied. “I trust you, Tim, but you’re not driving the car. If I get in that vehicle, you guys are taking off. I’m not getting in the car.”
According to RawStory, MSNBC host Nicolle Wallace said that sources with knowledge of the day said Mr Pence “feared a conspiracy, feared that the Secret Service would aid Trump and his ultimate aims that day”.
She added: “This is the most harrowing version of Mike Pence’s day I’ve seen reported.”
During the insurrection, Mr Pence was made a target of rioters’ fury following inflammatory statements by Donald Trump, with many heard shouting “Where’s Mike Pence?” and “Hang Mike Pence”.

I suspect that the Secret Server records were deleted primarily because of Jan 6th and that is because they would not have confirmed much of the nonsense being spread.
This way... Democrats can demand it is some sort of conspiracy to protect Trump and they can piecemeal together their own version of events using various methods that will be accepted as Gospel by the Commission slurping hateful psychopaths who are still "out for blood" and want to have Grandma flogged on top of the jail time.
