The past few "controversial" decisions seem to have a common theme. From the Dobbs decision to the confirmation of the second amendment rights to the Wisconsin decision regarding the 2020 use of drop boxes and ballot harvesting you have a majority arguing the law and a minority dissent arguing opinion and politics. In all cases you have one side making a legal argument and the other side ranting about how the "effects" of the decision will have (in their political opinion) a negative impact.
Reality is that Judges are arbitrators of constitutional questions and deciders of legal opinions. They are not social justice warriors or politicians making their preferred policy into law. Not sure what the point of going to law school, clerking for a Judge, going through the ranks of the legal community to get to the pinnacle of a State or Federal Court if all people are looking for (at the end of the day) is a political opinion? Heck any person off the street can provide that. Why would we expect these people to be experts in the law if they are not using their expertise on the law to make their decisions?
People demanding that these decisions are unfair because three of the members of the Court are Trump appointees also miss the entire point of the court. Do these people seriously not believe that the law and constitution "should" come into play here at all? They seem to believe that there is some sort of "political" fairness where there should be as many appointees from one Party as there are from the other, when in fact both Parties should technically be looking to nominate and appoint actual real constitutional legal scholars who are looking past their own personal feelings and deciding cases by the law. But apparently that is not what most every liberal actually wants. They want politicians sitting on the court making policies that they cannot otherwise pass through legislation.

Last Friday morning, life in America changed dramatically when the U.S. Supreme Court overturned half a century of the federal right to an abortion.
Most Americans support abortion rights, but a dedicated minority of conservative activists has been working for decades to dismantle Roe v. Wade, and one man in particular has played an outsized role in that effort: Leonard Leo.

EXCLUSIVE: Fulton County Still Can't Explain Its 2020 Election Results
Something stinks in Georgia because the numbers don't add up
A formal complaint (obtained exclusively by Emerald Robinson) has just been filed with the Georgia State Election Board regarding “errors” in the vote counting in Fulton County that impacted the stolen 2020 election. This 84-page complaint (which is too long a document and too large a PDF file to include here) explains in detail how Fulton County failed to provide an accurate vote tally for the 2020 election, and it has been filed by investigative journalist Kevin Moncla along with Joseph Rossi.
This SEB complaint shows that Fulton County’s vote tally for the 2020 election as recorded in November, and Fulton County’s vote tally for the recount that was conducted and certified in December, do not match.
Let me repeat: the November results and the December recount results do not match.
The entire point of an election recount, of course, is to confirm the previous vote totals on election day — and this did not happen.
Fulton County was unable to do it.
The original vote totals for Fulton County from November were: 528,777.
The December recount in Fulton County found the vote totals were: 511,543.
In other words, more than 17,000 votes could not be found.
Obviously, Fulton County was ordered by Georgia state officials to reconcile these vote totals — and Fulton County claimed that they “found” the missing 17,000 votes before the recount was certified on December 4th, 2020.
But the truth is that Fulton County does not have the paper documentation for those missing votes. The physical ballots are missing.
We know this because an open records request that was submitted to Fulton County provided an email from Fulton County Elections Director Rick Barron — dated December 3rd, 2020 —that shows the recount vote total as 511,543.
Remember that number: 511,543.
Fulton County’s election director emailed the recount’s vote totals as 511,543 on December 3rd — but Fulton County reported the official results as 527,925 a few hours later.
Where did Fulton County officials find the extra 16,382 votes in a few hours?
Nobody knows.
Fulton County does not have any ballot images for these votes. In a pending lawsuit in a federal court, Fulton County has even confirmed in writing that it does not have the ballot images for those votes.
But, wait, there’s more.
Fulton County also counted 10 tabulators with more than 20,000 votes on Election Day 2020 that do not exist.
Ten tabulators with no poll open tapes, no daily status tapes, and no poll closing tapes. Ten tabulators with more than 20,000 votes with no records at all.
How important are those missing 17,000 votes in Fulton County?

The ballots are checked out by officials before they are counted for either candidate. They verify the signature and other information !
The states have laws that if a person puts in a false ballot they are charged for crimes.

I have used them and I had to have id things like my last 4 Social Security number.

“We are living in a country awash in weapons of war,” the US president said. “Weapons that are designed to hunt are not being used [in massacres], weapons they are purchasing are designed as weapons of war, to take out an enemy. What is the rationale for these weapons outside war zones? Some people claim it’s for sport or to hunt,” he continued in front of an estimated audience of about 300 people on the South Lawn of the White House.
“But let’s look at the facts,” he said. Biden spoke of bullets fired from an assault rifle moving twice as fast as bullets fired from handguns and “maximize the damage done” to people.
“Human flesh and bone is just torn apart and as difficult as it is to say, that’s why so many people and so many in this audience – and I apologize for having to say it – need to provide DNA samples to identify the remains of their children, think of that,” he said.

Such as the Wisconsin lawsuit that was "dismissed" at the time because of the safe harbor constraints.
Didn't mean (quite obviously) that Trump's claim was incorrect or debunked. It just meant that there was no time to settle the dispute (in fact about 9 in 10 of these cases were dismissed based on issues that had nothing to do with the merits - either standing or time constraints)
In fact, we found in in this case that in spite of the case being previously dismissed, that dismissal had nothing to do with merits of the case. Once the case was decided on the merits, then the Trump claims were validated.
The idea that dismissal by the Wisconsin courts debunked Trump claim was obviously incorrect in this case... which is why the left is having such a meltdown over it. It completely kills off one of their main talking points.
The Wisconsin case is proof that the "court dismissals being proof of no fraud" has been exposed as gaslighting. Pure and simple.

How your vote gets counted
All ballots are counted on election day. Wisconsin election officials track who voted on election day through meticulously maintained poll books. The poll book is a list of all registered voters assigned to that polling place. In Wisconsin, voters may also register to vote at the polls on election day. Every voter is verified at the poll book check-in table by publicly stating their name and address and providing photo ID. If the voter is registered and provides valid photo ID, the voter will sign the poll book and be issued a ballot. Your vote is private, so no identifying information is applied to the ballot. Voters then mark the ballot and place the ballot in the tabulator where it is counted towards the election results.
Absentee ballots are also processed on election day. Election inspectors first verify the absentee ballot envelope meets all requirements, including the presence of a voter signature, witness signature, and witness address. If all requirements are met, election inspectors will open the envelope and place the ballot in the tabulator. These voters are marked with their voter number on the poll book when their votes are counted. The entire process is open to observation by members of the public.

Is there a reason why that night worker cannot fill out an absentee, put it in the absentee ballot envelope and mail it in to be processed with all the other ballots?
What is the reason that it cannot be mailed... but rather must be placed into an unsecured drop box?
