Just a friendly reminder for all of those wondering why the Biden administration is so desperate to find a crime to charge Trump with!

Trump faces up to six investigations into his behavior before he took office, during and after he left office.

It's not about the next election.

You are grasping at flies!

Roger...

You seriously believe that people feel they are better off than prior to the Pandemic? Man... only someone who lives outside of reality (say a lockdown mental facility) would believe such a thing.

Have you checked the direction of the country numbers recently? We have always been a pessimistic country. But about 40% thought we were headed in the right direction right before the pandemic. That number is now in the low 20s or about half what it was... and I am not sure what rocks these 20% are crawling out from under.

It's delusions like this that will prohibit you from ever being given the door code of your psychiatric hospital.

'Most Americans' who are invested in the stock market have taken up to a 20% HIT on their investments since before the pandemic.

And to add insult to injury the CDC has recently come out and admitted that they screwed the fucking pooch from start to fucking finish with all of their "guidance and recommendations" during the Chinese Sneeze.

Dr. Anthony S. Fauci said on Monday that he intended to leave government service in December to “pursue the next chapter” of his career, and that he would step down as President Biden’s top medical adviser and the director of the National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases, which he has led for 38 years.

The announcement by Dr. Fauci, 81, was not entirely unexpected. He has hinted for some time that he was thinking of retiring. In an interview Sunday evening, he said he was “not retiring in the classic sense” but would devote himself to traveling, writing and encouraging young people to enter government service.

“So long as I’m healthy, which I am, and I’m energetic, which I am, and I’m passionate, which I am, I want to do some things outside of the realm of the federal government,” Dr. Fauci said in the interview, adding that he wanted to use his experience and insight into public health and public service to “hopefully inspire the younger generation.”

I remember how intensely dissatisfied people were with Geo. W. Bush, "country headed in the wrong direction," yet he got reelected.

“No one can argue with President Joe Biden’s job record—more than 9.5 million unemployed Americans found jobs over the past 18 months, and the unemployment rate fell from 6.4 to 3.5 percent.”

Including manufacturer jobs.

Especially with computers chips 🍟

You keep distracting from the coldheartedtruth about.

Ronald Reagan closed his presidential debate with Jimmy Carter in October 1980, urging Americans to ask themselves if they were better off than they were four years ago. Of course, Reagan, like a sharp prosecutor, knew the answer before he posed the question. Inflation and unemployment were soaring. Perhaps the reason why Republicans aren’t posing that question today is that they, too, know the answer. Based on jobs, incomes, wealth, poverty, and health insurance, Americans are better off today, including inflation.

No one can argue with President Joe Biden’s job record—more than 9.5 million unemployed Americans found jobs over the past 18 months, and the unemployment rate fell from 6.4 to 3.5 percent.

Whether Americans’ incomes are higher is more complicated, because the pandemic disrupted the economy in so many ways. First, GDP collapsed in 2020, and unemployment soared—followed by massive public spending that extended into Biden’s term in 2021 and helped us recover. But supply problems, especially energy, ignited inflation, and spending, worsened it. While the fast-rising employment has produced a record 14.9 percent surge in overall wage and salary income since Biden took office, how much has inflation eaten away at those unparalleled gains?

For all of the “pain at the pump” stories, the answer is that wages and salaries have kept pace with inflation since Biden took office—and by this measure, most Americans are much better off than before the pandemic hit in 2020, and before he took office in 2021.

The bottom line is that the Democrats will keep the Senate majority and the House majority is no longer guaranteed 🙄

From fucking YESTERDAY:

08/21/22 1:41 PM ET

Nearly three-quarters of voters in a new poll said they believed things in the U.S. were headed in the wrong direction.

An NBC News poll revealed just 21 percent of voters feel the nation is headed in the right direction, while 74 percent think the opposite.

Sure anyone can argue...

We are just "barely" back up to pre-covid numbers in terms of people working. Which suggests that not only are we not finding "new jobs" (rather we are just recovering previously lost jobs) - but there has been no actual job gains.

So yeah, Roger.

I can argue. So can anyone keeping up and not listening to rhetoric.

Actually we have regained every job and we are creating new jobs at a record pace 🙌

It's hard to keep track of Donald Trump's very busy legal docket.

The former president is the subject of at least three major investigations into wrongdoing relating to the election, the insurrection, and his finances — probes based in Fulton County, Georgia; Washington, D.C.; and New York.

Trump's business remains under indictment in Manhattan for an alleged payroll tax-dodge scheme. On top of all that, Trump is fighting or bringing a grab-bag of important lawsuits.

You still think that the Deep State is still trying to destroy the Orange Monster 👻

Arizona added four times as many new jobs in July as it usually added in a month in the five years before the pandemic.

University of Arizona Economist George Hammond said that was true across many industries.

And even though restaurants and hotels are still struggling to hire, they brought in new people at a faster clip in July than they have in a while.

"On a statewide basis, leisure and hospitality jobs are still about 5000 below where they were in February of 2020. But in Phoenix and Tucson, they're back," he said..

Manufacturing jobs were up over 12,000 from pre-pandemic levels, and they are growing at a faster rate in Arizona than they are nationally.

This is not even close to being true. We have yet to restore all jobs lost and we're still 10.5 MILLION jobs in arrears from pre-pandemic levels.

Those of us NOT locked down in a psychiatric facility and are free to participate in the economy know this.

"...and the unemployment rate fell from 6.4 to 3.5 percent.”

An unemployment rate arrived at purely by the drop in the Labor Force Participation Rate.

This all harkens back to 0linsky's "saved or created jobs" BULLSHIT.

Did you look at the NBC poll for the cross tabs?

Literally no crosstabs provided for any partisan breakdown. Not just on that question but across the poll.

I trust other polls that suggest differently. Based on the polling that includes crosstabs, Democrats are the only political demographic that believes in this investigation.

I don't know yet if they broke the law but

Sensitive election system files obtained by attorneys working to overturn President Donald Trump’s 2020 defeat were shared with election deniers, conspiracy theorists and right-wing commentators, according to records reviewed by The Washington Post.

A Georgia computer forensics firm hired by the attorneys placed the files on a server, where company records show they were downloaded dozens of times. Among the downloaders were accounts associated with a Texas meteorologist who has appeared on Sean Hannity’s radio show; a podcaster who suggested political enemies should be executed; a former pro-surfer who pushed disproved theories that the 2020 election was manipulated; and a self-described former “seduction and pickup coach” who claims to also have been a hacker.

Plaintiffs in a long-running federal lawsuit over the security of Georgia’s voting systems obtained the new records from the company, Atlanta-based SullivanStrickler, under a subpoena to one of its executives. The records include contracts between the firm and the Trump-allied attorneys, notably Sidney Powell. The data files are described as copies of components from election systems in Coffee County, Ga., and Antrim County, Mich.

Funny Roger...

But those who suggest that this was the most secure election ever and that nobody could have possibly hacked into any election information...

is now crying about hackers got into the system and exposed information about election discrepancies?

Which is it?

Are the systems unhackable?

Conservatives illegally hacked them?

One of his most loyal supporters has found that Trump failed to listen to his advisers. And he in big trouble.

Donald Trump's one-time White House counsel said in an interview that among the many legal threats the former president faces, the Justice Department's sprawling Capitol riot probe is the most dangerous.

"No matter what, the most serious case he faces is the January 6 investigation," Ty Cobb, who served as White House special counsel in 2017 and 2018, told Insider. "Not necessarily because of January 6 alone but coupled with the fake electors scheme and the interference alleged in Georgia, Arizona, Pennsylvania, and elsewhere."

"That's the case that has him at the most risk and is more at the heart of what the Justice Department would take seriously," he added.

The DOJ's investigation into the January 6, 2021, attack on the Capitol has several threads. In addition to prosecuting those who carried out the riot, investigators are also digging into the events that led up to the failed insurrection; any attempts to obstruct the inquiry; and efforts by Trump's allies to use false slates of electors to undo Joe Biden's 2020 victory in seven battleground states.

I'd they charge him for stealing government property like the 300 documents and convict him under 18 U.S.C. § 641 THEFT OF GOVERNMENT PROPERTY

A violation of Section 641 subjects the defendant to a potential maximum of 10 years in federal prison and a fine, though if the property is valued at less than $1,000, the maximum term of imprisonment decreases to one year plus a fine.
