I hope [NYC Mayor Eric Adams] follows through on his promise of welcoming all migrants with open arms so that our overrun and overwhelmed border towns can find relief.
They’re not letting us know when the buses are leaving. They’re not letting us know what are the needs of the people on the bus. They are not giving us any information so we’re unable to really provide the service to people en route. We would like to get that information.
There is more to it than this, but this is sort of the lack of understanding that some of these ultra-liberals have. It would appear that when illegal immigrants "sneak" across the border that nobody is letting the state of Texas or the state of Arizona know where or when and what their needs are. They just show up one day in the tens of thousands and these leaders are supposed to deal with it.
But when a few hundred are bussed to NYC, the mayor believes it is unfair that he is not given the appropriate information on how to deal with those who show up. For better or worse, it would appear that many of these illegals are jumping ship before getting to NYC as well. From what some are saying, these illegals have no interested in living in the big apple, as not even a poor broke illegal immigrant with little or nothing sees NYC as the place to make it anymore.
Perhaps Adams has some suggestions for how Abbot and other border area leaders are supposed to take care of tens of thousands pouring over the border... when he cannot figure out how to take care of a few hundred.
