Let us just look at one simple example. The redefining of words and ideas in order to "merge" with them liberalthink. We all know liberals redefine words and ideas, but it's the process that has started to pattern out into fairly consistent and predictable thinking.
One example that comes to mind is the term "fascism". If you are my age, you were taught that fascism is a totalitarian style government that controls their citizens through force and intimidation. It was generally a ruthless dictator who was willing to go to extreme lengths to keep control.
Whether it be rounding up dissenters and putting them in gulags or rounding up religious foes and putting them in concentration camps. It always involved a strong centralized government with a police state. One where the police or military would do the bidding of the Government powers (generally a dictator). One where oppression and violent coercion to beliefs were widespread.
But if you are a modern day liberal, then your liberalthink does not allow this particular definition to stand. It simply hits too close to home to what they support (censorship, political persecution by Federal law enforcement, etc). Besides, they all know that the real fascist is Donald Trump... even if the country under his leadership did nothing that would seem fascist by the standard definition.

But you see that doesn't matter with liberalthink. If they just unilaterally decide to no longer accept the historical notion that fascism is a Government state that can be defined by the actions of that government... then they are free to declare that fascism is a "person" or in this case specifically Donald Trump.
From there the concept is simple. Whatever Donald Trump did that they did not like now becomes... wait for it... fascism.
Doesn't matter if anything Trump did has anything to do with the known definition of fascism. That silly lame historical definition that does not take into account their own personal feelings. Because words are violence and such. Trump is a fascist and that is that. They have so declared!
So tweeting too late at night? Fascism. A protest for conservative cause? Fascism. Having large crowds at your rallies? Fascism. Appointing conservative justices? Fascism. Declaring you believe you won an election that you technically lost. Fascism. (well unless you are Al Gore, John Kerry, or Hillary Clinton - then it is okay to make that argument). Having your own FBI investigate you for three years? Obviously you are a fascist or they wouldn't be investigating you. Having a bad haircut? Fascism. Marrying a supermodel? Fascism. Having money? Fascism. Just the bad orange man existing? Fascism.
This is what they have decided and if you do not agree, well then they will harass you and call you names. They might even try to cancel you or even support the Government oppressing your views. Because if you support Trump and do not agree with them... well then your views need to be oppressed, by any means possible. Because (of course) you are the fascist! Just like Russian dissenters and those nasty Jews were the real fascist and needed to be tossed into camps for the emotional well being of the mob.
Because liberalthink said so!
