Pennsylvania Supreme Court: Undated Absentee and Mail-In Ballots Can’t Be Counted
“The Pennsylvania county boards of elections are hereby ORDERED to refrain from counting any absentee and mail-in ballots received for the November 8, 2022 general election that are contained in undated or incorrectly dated outer envelopes.”
But the Secretary of State sent out a different "guidance" telling counties to count these ballots due to a Federal court decision (later overturned) that ruled date requirements on ballots would somehow be unconstitutional. Try writing a check or signing a legal document sometime without dating it and see where that gets you.
Even after the ruling was quickly overturned, the Penn SOS would not change their guidance arguing that the USSC decision was not the final say on the matter? That there was still more nuances to the rulings? Well there are now two supreme court decisions (Pennsylvania and the United States) or even three if you count the first Pennsylvania decision. We will see if this particular SOS will listen or just continue to lawlessly push her own agenda.
