Polish President Andrzej Duda and NATO Secretary General Jens Stoltenberg said Wednesday that the explosion that killed two Polish citizens was probably caused by an errant Ukrainian air defense missile rather than a Russian cruise missile (Russian Cruise Missile Explodes in Poland and Kills Two; Polish Government Calls Crisis Meeting).
There was a lot of buzz over something that appears to have been something that Poland should have at least "expected" when the explosion happened. It would have been hard to imagine that they would not have realized the difference between a long range Russian missile and an air defense missile.
