That's not what I heard?

In a nutshell, this is why it's so hard to trust Hillary Clinton. In her interview with Chris Wallace last week, she was asked about the statements from James Comey regarding her Email Server. Wallace showed several clips of Hillary Clinton stating that she never sent or received classified information, along with several clips from James Comey stating otherwise. Included were the parts were Trey Gowdy states a Clinton statement, and Comey responds over and over with a repudiation that Clinton's statement was not true.

So what was Clinton's answer to this? Well, Clinton claimed: "that's not how she heard it".

According to the Secretary, we just didn't listen to the right parts of Comey's statement or the right parts of the Congressional hearing. Had we took everything in context, we would understand that what he said wasn't really what he said, and even if that's what he said, that's not what he must of meant, because that's not what she heard. Oh, and besides, doesn't it all rest on what the actual meaning of the word "is" is?

This is part of the Clinton problem. You can catch her red handed telling lies about our National Security and criminal violations of the statues surrounding the handling of said classified information, and she simply denies it. Comey stated that 110 emails were classified at the time she sent or received them. She claims that was nonsense. These were all retroactively declared (fairly arbitrarily by the tone and body language she gives) after the fact. All too complicated for "us" to understand, and apparently too complicate for James Comey to understand as well. I have to giver her credit. For someone described by the FBI as not being "sophisticated" enough to understand the classification system, Clinton has an amazing ability to be condescending while she tells the world how her critics are simply wrong.

Bottom line: According to Hillary Clinton. James Comey did not declare that Hillary Clinton sent or received anything classified.  Anyone who believes that, simply heard him wrong.
