Trump nominates 10 adults to be the next Federal Judges...

Includes are five appellate Justices (which are the courts just under the Supreme Court)
  • Justice Joan Larsen of the Michigan Supreme Court, for the Sixth Circuit
  • Attorney John K. Bash, also for the Sixth Circuit
  • Professor Amy Coney Barrett of Notre Dame Law School, for the Seventh Circuit
  • Justice David Stras of the Minnesota Supreme Court, for the Eighth Circuit
  • Former Alabama Solicitor General Kevin Newsom, for the Eleventh Circuit

As we hear Justices arguing about what the Washington Post wrote about what Rudy Guiliani supposedly said about something Candidate Trump said... and considering it evidence for an actual judicial ruling, it becomes clear that we need clear thinking, reasonable Justices who understand how to follow the rule of law.

No society has any need for Justices who will go to such extremes to justify a preconceived ruling based on anger and hate.

but liberal society can't live without them.

Did anyone really expect Trump to nominate teenagers, or preteens? Yes, the bar for him is really low, but come on.

C.H. Truth said...

Unfortunately, Indy... being an adult wasn't a requirement when those 9th circuit court Justices were nominated. Adults can get over their personal animosity.

indy,

i wouldn't consider the federalist society to be a low bar.

an AG like kamala harris? now there's a legal mind that is as low as you can get. grade school low.

Whatever the Left dominates, it ruins.

The universities, the news media, the entertainment media, the fine arts, the courts, the high schools and elementary schools (and, coming soon, the preschools, as soon as they’re government-funded and universal) — all ruined wherever leftism has achieved dominance.

Left adopts shock tactics in Obamacare repeal fight

Mock funerals and possibly even shipping people's ashes to GOP lawmakers are among the brazen moves the left is embracing.

Floriduh does something nice for women.....reduces taxes on tampons.......WOW, that will really shift favor to the R's.

TALLAHASSEE, Florida - The Florida Legislature overwhelmingly passed a state budget on Monday that includes a tax exemption for feminine hygiene products.

Currently, Florida law imposes a sales tax on luxury items such as cosmetics and toiletries, while providing tax exemptions for medical products used to prevent or treat illness.

The new legislation makes it clear that feminine hygiene products are not luxury items in the same category as toiletries, but rather a necessity for women’s overall health, hygiene, and well-being. Several states including: Illinois, Maryland, Massachusetts, Pennsylvania, Minnesota, New Jersey, Connecticut, New York, and the District of Columbia currently exempt these items.

As long as they rule in a conservative manner, against science

Science says that when a human male gamete combines with a female gamete to form a zygote a unique human life is created.

Our constitution and declaration of independence declares that all of us are "created equal" and have an "unalienable right to life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness".

So given these facts, which side should a "pro-science" judge rule on the question of unlimited abortion?

I know the logical answer to this. Do you?

Since these provisions only involve the individual insurance market, a small slice of the overall insurance picture (about 18 million are on the individual market), and merely make possible state waivers, they are inherently limited.

You’re not affected if you get insurance through your employer (155 million people), or through Medicaid or Medicare. You’re not affected if you live in a state that doesn’t request the waiver, a category that will certainly include every blue state and most red states, too. Even if you buy insurance on the individual market and live in a state that gets a waiver, you’re not affected if you’ve maintained insurance coverage continuously and not had a gap in coverage longer than 63 days.

By this point, we’re talking about a fraction of a fraction of a fraction of the population. If you do have a pre-existing condition in a waiver state and haven’t had continuous coverage, you can be charged more by your insurer only the first year. The state will have access to $8 billion in federal funds explicitly to ease the cost of your insurance, and the state must further have a high-risk pool or similar program to mitigate insurance costs for the sick.

Clearly, if Republicans set out to recklessly endanger the well-being of people with pre-existing conditions, they didn’t do a very good job of it. The purpose of these provisions isn’t to punish people who are sick, but to create an incentive for people to buy insurance while they are healthy.

so all the democrats have left is childish histrionics. the facts are clearly not on their side.

That is your opinion of the science and when life starts. Not all people agree with your cultist belief. As for all are created equal, only when they lead a life style you approve of. A pro science judge does not exist in your world.

A new scientific finding to shock the party of science.

A recent study released from Israel’s Weizmann Institute of Science refutes propaganda from LGBT activists who detach gender completely from sex and promote that men can become so-called “women” by merely “identifying” as female, and vice-versa.

Professor Shmuel Pietrokovski and Dr. Moran Gershoni, both researchers from the Weizmann Institute’s Molecular Genetics Department, “looked closely at around 20,000 protein-coding genes, sorting them by sex and searching for differences in expression in each tissue. They eventually identified around 6,500 genes with activity that was biased toward one sex or the other in at least one tissue, adding to the already major biological differences between men and women.”

Real science can no longer be done in the United States. Only politically correct science.
