President's statement...

“It’s tragic and heartbreaking to see hatred and racism once again mar our great Nation with bloodshed. The Nazis, the KKK, and white supremacists are repulsive and evil, and all of us have a moral obligation to speak out against the lies, bigotry, anti-Semitism, and hatred that they propagate. Having watched the horrifying video of the car deliberately crashing into a crowd of protesters, I urge the Department of Justice to immediately investigate and prosecute this grotesque act of domestic terrorism.”
— Sen. Ted Cruz (R-TX), in a statement.

Unlike the mealy mouthed self serving statement of the President, Cruz puts the blame where it most belongs.

AND MEANWHILE...
Tax Reform Could Be Even Harder Than Health Care

Politico: “Insiders and tax experts say rewriting the tax code will be just as difficult as health care — maybe even more so. While every Republican loves a tax cut, the GOP is divided over how -— or even whether — to pay for them. The fault lines are as much about lawmakers’ parochial concerns as they are about party identity, further complicating the task of cobbling together a majority.

“That’s not to mention the procedural hurdles that could stall the tax debate, or the crowded congressional calendar that could push reform to the back burner. And with the 2018 election season kicking off in just four months, time is not on the Republicans’ side.”

So now the only people committing violence and destruction are the white guys wearing kacki dockers.

Yeah ok.

Trump's statement is exactly right.

This is a big deal it true.

Forensic investigators, intelligence analysts, system designers, program architects, and computer scientists of long experience and strongly credentialed are now producing evidence disproving the official version of key events last year. Their work is intricate and continues at a kinetic pace as we speak. But its certain results so far are two, simply stated, and freighted with implications:

There was no hack of the Democratic National Committee’s system on July 5 last year—not by the Russians, not by anyone else. Hard science now demonstrates it was a leak—a download executed locally with a memory key or a similarly portable data-storage device. In short, it was an inside job by someone with access to the DNC’s system. This casts serious doubt on the initial “hack,” as alleged, that led to the very consequential publication of a large store of documents on WikiLeaks last summer.

Forensic investigations of documents made public two weeks prior to the July 5 leak by the person or entity known as Guccifer 2.0 show that they were fraudulent: Before Guccifer posted them they were adulterated by cutting and pasting them into a blank template that had Russian as its default language. Guccifer took responsibility on June 15 for an intrusion the DNC reported on June 14 and professed to be a WikiLeaks source—claims essential to the official narrative implicating Russia in what was soon cast as an extensive hacking operation. To put the point simply, forensic science now devastates this narrative.

The whole basis of Mullier's Russian collusion investigation is that Russia illegally interfered with the US election. Specifically, by hacking the DNC's email system.

If there is no illegal hack by Russia, then there's no illegal interference. And if there's no interference to begin with, there's no collusion.

Seems to me that donnie gave his externe right supporters a free pass. All those here who lambasted the lefties for burning shit and smelling bad, have remained awful quiet to the killing by the nazi from Ohio... His mother when told of the fatality just shrugged it off. At least I know the apple fell in her front yard. What a proud moment for white americans who are sitting on their hands. And as usual menstral is ranting about mueller and opining on the law, which he is about as knowledgable as a gnat....

You haven't been paying attention. He's being charged with murder, he will probably be charged with both civil rights violations and domestic terrorism when Trump's DOJ is finished with him.

Actions do speak louder than words.

And still, although the White House is trying to claim that Trump's statement was indeed aimed at white supremacists, our white supremacist "President" himself has not said that.

James said...

“We condemn in the strongest possible terms this egregious display of hatred, bigotry and violence on many sides, on many sides.”
— President Trump, quoted by CNN, refusing to directly condemn white nationalists and neo-Nazis protesting in Virginia.

And donnie's were a wink and nod to david duke, the guy who said the support trump got from the extremists won him the election. The same david duke who donnie claimed he didn't know....Yep his lack of veracity naming supremacists as evil is kinda weird since he is so explicit when it comes to muslim extremists. Why is that??????? Another sad day in America.

Trump Babbles in the Face of Tragedy

Michael Gerson: “One of the difficult but primary duties of the modern presidency is to speak for the nation in times of tragedy. A space shuttle explodes. An elementary school is attacked. The twin towers come down in a heap of ash and twisted steel. It falls to the president to express something of the nation’s soul — grief for the lost, sympathy for the suffering, moral clarity in the midst of confusion, confidence in the unknowable purposes of God.”

“Not every president does this equally well. But none have been incapable. Until Donald Trump.

“Trump’s reaction to events in Charlottesville was alternately trite (‘come together as one’), infantile (‘very, very sad’) and meaningless (‘we want to study it’).”

That's the interpretation you want to put on it. There's no rational basis for believing that.

. There's no rational basis for believing that.

Sure there is....he didn't mention them by name, just weasel words that you think is fine, but then again, you really aren't smart enough to figure it out.

Let's see. Trump condemns white nationalists and all other hate groups in a speech and opens a civil right case against them.

Meanwhile Obama invites the leader of black nationalist group black lives matter and other hate groups to the white house.

And the only civil rights case he opens is against an innocent police officer.

And why would he give these people more visibility and notoriety by naming them?

Shit for brains.

Charlottesville mayor largely blames Trump for white supremacist violence

Graphic video shows moment when car drives through protesters

I guess others are of the same opinion as me....Your commie friend, OPIE

The mayor of Charlottesville, Va., says President Trump bears responsibility for the violence that erupted during a white supremacist rally there Saturday.

“Look at the campaign he ran,” Charlottesville Mayor Michael Signer said in an interview with CNN’s “State of the Union” on Sunday. “I mean, look at the intentional courting, both on the one hand of all these white supremacists, white nationalists — a group like that — anti-Semitic groups, and then look on the other hand the repeated failure to step up, condemn, denounce, silence, you know, put to bed all those different efforts, just like we saw yesterday. I mean, this is not hard.”

“I’m not going to make any bones about it,” Signer told the Virginian-Pilot. “I place the blame for a lot of what you’re seeing in American today right at the doorstep of the White House and the people around the president.”
