Brothers Donald Trump, Jr. (left) and Eric Trump (right) with a leopard they killed on a trip to Zimbabwe.

Again, money talks and people kill endangered animals with glee.....What is so hard about banning the practice by not allowing ANY trophy to be imported....Oh I know, trumps spawn have money and enjoy killing for fun....what a bunch of assholes....

http://www.nydailynews.com/opinion/hard-president-trump-forbid-trophy-hunting-article-1.3865207

The United States has moved to allow hunters to import big-game trophies, including elephant tusks and lion hides, acquired in certain African countries with approvals granted on an individual basis.

The decision, reported in a memorandum published last week by the federal Fish and Wildlife Service, overturns an Obama-era ban on some trophies and contradicts public statements by President Trump, who had endorsed the restrictions.

In November, agency officials moved to lift the ban on elephant trophies from Zimbabwe and Zambia. The new policy supersedes and broadens that decision, officials said.

Traditionally, the agency has considered imports of trophies from certain endangered species on a nation-by-nation basis. The Endangered Species Act stipulates that in order for such trophies to be approved, exporting countries must demonstrate that hunting enhances survival of a particular species in the wild — by reinvesting the money into conservation, for example, and by supporting local communities.

In December, however, the United States Court of Appeals for the District of Columbia Circuit found that officials had implemented the Obama-era bans without following regulatory procedures, including a failure to open up the decision to public comment.

Stormy Daniels Isn’t Going Away Anytime Soon

New York Times: “For nearly two months, since the Wall Street Journal first revealed an October 2016 payment to Ms. Clifford (known on screen as Stormy Daniels), the story had subsisted on the margins of national consciousness — a consequence, it seemed, of both the daily Trumpian overload and a wide-scale confusion over what, exactly, the whole affair amounted to. Was it tragedy or farce? Serious or sideshow? Was it all of them, leaving us paralyzed by the choice?

“Despite the unrelated tumult of this week — tariff policy, staff turnover, nuclear intrigue — the ordeal has begun showing signs of an elusive longevity, coaxed by a lawsuit filed by her lawyer and an acknowledgment from Sarah Huckabee Sanders, the White House press secretary, that Mr. Trump’s side had pursued an arbitration proceeding against Ms. Clifford. The White House briefing room has been consumed by repeated questions about the payment.”

Clinton warns of diplomatic 'danger' in N. Korea talks
AFP

Hillary Clinton told a Dutch tabloid that the U.S. State Department was "being eroded."

Hillary Clinton has warned that the Trump administration "was not recognizing the danger" in discussing nuclear disarmament with Pyongyang, and said Washington lacked experienced diplomats to handle the talks.

"If you want to talk to Kim Jong Un about his nuclear weapons you need experienced diplomats," Clinton was quoted as telling Dutch tabloid Algemeen Dagblad in an interview published on Saturday.

"These are people familiar with the dossiers and who know the North Koreans and their language," Trump's presidential rival said in an interview conducted in Amsterdam and published in Dutch.

The former secretary of state said, however, that the U.S. State Department was "being eroded" and that experienced diplomats on the North Korean issue were in short supply, with many having left.

"You cannot have diplomacy without diplomats," she said, adding "the danger is not being recognized by the Trump government."

Clinton's words echo those of Bill Richardson, veteran diplomat and former U.S. ambassador to the United Nations. He warned that negotiating with North Korea was not "reality television."

"It's a real opportunity ... I worry about the president's unpreparedness and lack of discipline. But I commend him for his very bold move in accepting the invitation," Richardson told AFP on Friday.

"But this is not 'The Apprentice' or a reality TV event. It's a negotiation with an unpredictable leader who has at least 20 nuclear weapons and who threatens the United States," he said.

Stormy Daniels? Seriously?

The Democratic Party New York Times headlines: “The Stormy Daniels Scandal Gets Serious.” Let’s just pause on that. President Trump’s alleged dalliance with Ms. Daniels occurred, if it occurred at all, 12 years ago. Long before he was a presidential candidate, let alone president. How much interest has the Democratic Party New York Times shown in sexual relationships entered into by John Kennedy, Lyndon Johnson, Bill Clinton, Barack Obama, or any other Democrat more than a decade before entering public life? Nevertheless, the Times argues that this is somehow a big deal:

As this drama unfolds, it’s becoming clear that, for all its sordid details, it isn’t really a sex scandal. It’s a campaign finance scandal, a transparency scandal and potentially part of an ongoing national security scandal. It’s salacious and absurd, but we should take it seriously.

But the Times’s explanations of why Stormy Daniels is suddenly relevant are laughable, e.g., the payment that Trump’s lawyer supposedly made to Ms. Daniels should have been reported as an in-kind contribution to his campaign. Right. The Times soon goes around the bend:

Finally, the Daniels story is germane to the overriding scandal of the Trump administration, the one involving Trump’s relationship with Russia. Christopher Steele, the British ex-spy who compiled an infamous dossier of opposition research on Trump, wrote that Russia could blackmail Trump with evidence of his “sexual perversion.” Nothing we know of Daniels confirms the dossier’s outrĂ© claims about what such perversion entailed. The NDA does, however, show that Trump was susceptible to blackmail.

Earth to the New York Times: Donald Trump doesn’t have a relationship with Russia! This is a bizarre fantasy that makes the Times and other Democrats look stupid. In any event, Stormy Daniels has nothing to do with Russia, one way or another. And for the Times to accuse our president of “sexual perversion,” on the basis of absolutely zero evidence, is a low blow even by the standards of the Democratic Party press. (On a positive note, it is good to see that the Times thinks there still is such a thing as sexual perversion. That seems like an old-fashioned notion in today’s era of “let a thousand gender identities bloom.”)

The left-wing press is working overtime today to make the 12-year-old Stormy Daniels story into news. Why? I don’t think the answer is hard to find. President Trump’s administration, so far, has been remarkably successful. At home, the rate of economic growth has doubled, millions more are employed, wages are rising, the stock market is soaring, moribund industries are coming back to life. Abroad, American interests are being asserted; NATO allies have increased their contributions to mutual defense; the administration is standing up to Russia and China; after many years of inaction, the menace of North Korea is being confronted; and so on. The Democratic Party is trying to distract voters from these accomplishments with irrelevant stories about a former porn star.

Don’t let them get away with it.

Stormy Daniels Isn’t Going Away Anytime Soon

Well, the left has to obsess on something now that Russia, Russia, Russia is going away.

And no, it not worse than Monica Lewinsky. It does not involve rape, sexual assault, sexual harassment, or abuse of power like Bill Clinton's crimes.

At worst is was a consensual relationship between two mature adults over 10 years ago. And now someone wants to make a fortune describing that relationship.

Which is rather hypocritical of you since Bill Clinton actually committed a crime and you gave him a free pass.

I found this intresting.

Women wearing make-up less likely to be considered good leaders, study finds

Research from Abertay University in Dundee found both men and women drew the same conclusions when looking at images of women wearing make-up compared to those without.

Those taking part in an experiment were shown 16 pairs of images showing a woman made up for a night out and her make-up free. They were then asked to choose the better leader.

The faces and the amount of make-up shown was manipulated by computer software for the research, which was published in the Perception journal.

Women were evaluated more negatively as a leader if the image suggested she was wearing a lot of make-up. This was the result for both male and female participants.

Have no idea what it means but if I had to guess makeup emphasizes the feminine in western culture while leadership is very much still precieved as a masculine trait.

137 House Democrats sign letter urging Trump's action against Russia
Mar 12th 2018 4:11PM

WASHINGTON, March 12 (Reuters) - Over two-thirds of U.S. House of Representatives Democrats urged President Donald Trump to enact sanctions on Russia, the latest push by lawmakers for a response to investigators' findings that Russia interfered in the 2016 U.S. election.

At least 137 of the Democrats in the House signed a letter, seen by Reuters on Monday, "strongly urging" Trump to adhere to a law he signed last summer imposing sanctions on those who do business with Russia's military and intelligence sectors.

"We strongly urge you to reverse course, follow the letter and spirit of the law, and demonstrate that the security of our country and integrity of elections are sacrosanct," the letter said.

They said Trump had missed a Jan. 29 deadline to impose sanctions included in the law, known as the Countering America's Adversaries Through Sanctions Act (CAATSA).

Members of Congress, Trump's fellow Republicans as well as Democrats, have been pushing the administration to punish Russia for what House Speaker Paul Ryan described as a "sinister and systematic attack" on the 2016 U.S. campaign, and prevent potential foreign interference in this November's mid-term elections.

Russia has denied seeking to meddle in the U.S. vote. Trump has repeatedly denied any collusion between his associates and Moscow. Probes of the issue, by congressional committees and Special Counsel Robert Mueller, have shadowed Trump's first 14 months in office.

Separately, the Democratic Senate and House leaders, as well as the top Democrats on the congressional Judiciary committees, released a letter on Monday urging Trump to use every resource available to extradite 13 Russians Mueller indicted last month for 2016 meddling.

Russian President Vladimir Putin said last week that the indicted Russian nationals could be prosecuted in Russia if they were found to have broken Russian law.

There could be action on Russia sanctions soon. Dan Coats, the Director of National Intelligence, insisted to a Senate hearing last week that the administration is engaged on the issue of election security, and said the Treasury Department would announce sanctions on Russia as soon as this week.
