Democratic Coalition claim to have filed a "criminal complaint"

alleging that Judge Kavanaugh committed perjury in his testimony in front of the Senate. Which would be a very good move, if in fact, the Democratic Coalition could indeed actually file a criminal complaint in Federal Court. According to what many have suggested and what I can find searching through the federal laws and DOJ website, federal criminal complaints generally require an affidavit from a law enforcement officer who is said to have witnessed or uncovered the crime. A victim of a crime may also be part of a criminal complaint, but it generally falls upon someone in law enforcement to back up those claims. I fail to see how the Democratic Coalition is going to make themselves out to be criminal victims, or what affidavit they will provide from law enforcement.

Either way, this shows you exactly how low the Democrats are willing to go. Make no mistake, regardless of how low anyone else is willing to go, the Democrats will go lower. Obviously they cannot prevent Judge Kavanaugh from being confirmed to the high court, so they figure the next best thing would be to make a lame attempt to send a highly respected Judge to jail over what is a transparent hissy fit over a failed "gotcha moment".

The fact is that by every account (including liberal justices who have worked with him), Kavanaugh is a straight shooter, an honest Judge, and an all around good family guy. But if it means delaying the replacement of Kennedy, the left would gladly through the husband, father, and girls soccer coach in jail. Who cares if Kennedy specifically stepped down when Trump was President and the GOP held the Senate? The minority should have their say and apparently their way. Any takers on whether or not this desperate Hail Mary works?
