The political question, of course, is whether or not this will affect his campaign. Being the oldest candidate of the bunch puts this sort of thing more in the spotlight. While it "should not" disqualify him from being the nominee or being President, there is no question that it may cause some underlying issues within his support. Just the fact that he could get hit by Trump on his health if he were the nominee might be enough to sway people away from him. People will recall the effect that health concerns had on Hillary's campaign.
Again, we should all root for Bernie to fully recover and if we know him as a person, it's likely he will come back just as grumpy and just as passionate as he was before this medical set back.

I bet Biden drops out, then Sanders and if Warren does the same you know Hillary is behind all this and is running again. It's really strange what happens to people that are in her way. But otherwise it's not really required that the dems run anyone in 2020 is it?

Do want to comment on the Bernie Sanders health concerns...
Obviously we should all want to wish Bernie Sanders well. A few decades back what he is going through would have been life threatening, but now it's almost a standard procedure. We can thank our medical advances for the fact that he will likely be just fine,
10 years ago the symptom would have resulted in a fatal heart attack.....yeah medicine is expensive......and Obama care made this type of procedure available to many.....now we need to have it available to ALL!!!!

But Ch says it does not match, so he should be able to demonstrate for us just how it does not match by putting texts of the two side by side, or one after the other, to show that the whistleblower's statement really does not match the transcript of the call.

“GOP sources say they have a good reason for that fear. They have no idea what else House Democrats’ investigation will uncover or what comes next.”
