There was never any "real" reason to expect charges here
The man was in violation of a order of protection, he assaulted officers, he resisted two attempts at being tasered, had a weapon, threatened officers with that weapon, and was ultimately trying to get into a vehicle that wasn't his and drive away.
So yeah... this was a man to be proud of.
