Bottom line... nobody of any substance believes Kaine did anything but make a fool of himself. Don't know that it swings anything... but Pence at least helps his own political career.
His conservative evangelical pal over at electionprojection.com is presently predicting a 322 electoral vote victory for Clinton. That must surely smart even more.
You're the one predicting a Trump presidency when you said;
Will Pence be running AGAINST TRUMP in 2020?
That would only happen if Trump becomes president. And since Pence will be his vice-president it is doubtful he will challenge a sitting president from his own party.
No, it could happen if, even after losing, rather than going away as GOP party officials would want him to do, Trump insists on hanging around -- as he very well may -- causing immeasurable trouble and running again in 2020, with even more disastrous results for the GOP.
Regardless of what he does or does not to, Trump will be the albatross around Republicans' necks for a very long time.
Pence set himself for 2020. ___________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________
what a coincidence. the pence 2020 nonsense was the opinion of every single asshat in the mainstream media.
Blogger Commonsense said... What's totally amusing is how desperately the mainstream media is trying to pivot from Kaine's disaster by claiming Pence actually beat Trump. __________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________
the story they're peddling today is that trump is upset and angry at pence's performance because pence bested him.
you can always tell how much the state-run media fears someone by the magnitude of the outright lies they feel compelled to tell about that person.
The reports that Trump was/is upset by the fact that Pence came off looking better against Kaine while Trump came off looking worse against Hillary -- those reports originated with people inside Trump's circle.
Maybe we'll soon get an envelope post marked Trump Tower telling us even more.
The reports were that aids to Hillary Clinton had to take away all sharp objects about half way through the debate... as Hillary became crazy with grief and anger.
The reports were that she was throwing things at monitor and calling TK all sorts of horrible names, before eventually collapsing into a heap of barely recognizable grumbling....
at least those are the reports... and we can all trust reports... right James?

We inadvertently found the trolling scary clown.
Creepy.
Exactly.
Pence won.

Doubt Pence would challenge his own president if he decided to run for a second term.
One thing is for sure, if you can't trust the moderator to run a fair debate, the best strategy is to ignore him or her.
A Trump second term?
Oh, are you going to be DEVASTATED!
Ch is presently predicting a 307 electoral vote victory for Clinton. That must surely smart.

The implication was that Trump is going to lose.

No. If Trump loses he's one and done. He'll be 74 in 2020.
More than anything, this debate highlighted the decision making of Trump and Clinton, reflecting very well on trump and horribly on Hillary.
I was thinking much along the same lines. Trump's first big decision on a running mate turned out to be the right one. Hillary's? Not so much.

I want to thank HB for daily making me LOL @ Him.
We know now why Hillary pick kaine, because he is a insufferable piece of liberal shit , just like her, that ticket is truly unlikable.

No they didn't.
Trump loved pence beating up Kaine.

Not really sure what Pence does if Trump loses. Didn't he have to quit his own reelection campaign to accept the Veep nomination?
I guess he could go to talk radio. Or Fox.
We can trust reports that are not total fictions.
You mean you trust the fiction that agrees with your world view.
