FOX CNN Both report Deputy FBI Director Andrew McCabe removed...

This apparently took place just after FBI Director Chrisopher Wray was given access to the "memo" that will soon be released to the full House, and quite possibly to the nation. Was this a preemptive strike? Certainly McCabe has some obvious conflicts, and was responsible for many important and questionable decisions. One has to believe that the "memo" probably does a reasonable job of exposing this.
From our Justice team One source said FBI Deputy Director McCabe's departure was not in the plans as of Friday. The source said McCabe was told this morning to step down. A second source described McCabe’s departure as being “removed”.
As pointed out by several observers, the memo is not the only problem for the FBI. The real concern appears to be the eventual report from Inspector General Michael Horowitz, who has been internally  investigating the FBI over both the Clinton and Trump investigations. Horowitz, as you recall, was the guy who located the missing 50,000 text messages that our top law enforcement agency did not appear to be capable of otherwise finding on their own.

The irony is that Wray apparently threatened to quit last year, when the subject of firing McCabe was brought up. It goes to show you the arrogance of those in charge of the FBI. They had to figure that only what they wanted anyone to know would get out.

As The Federalist noted on Monday, Fox News media reporter Howard Kurtz writes in a new book that McCabe prompted a conversation with then-White House chief of staff Reince Priebus about a New York Times report from Feb. 14 asserting that Trump associates had “repeated” contacts with Russian operatives.

But an initial report from CNN about that exchange portrayed Priebus and the White House as putting pressure on the FBI and McCabe to publicly rebut the report.

The White House responded by telling reporters that McCabe told Priebus, “I want you to know story in NYT is BS.”

After McCabe volunteered that assessment, Priebus says he asked McCabe whether he would be able to make a similar statement to the public. McCabe offered that he would have to check with the FBI. Days later, CNN reported that Priebus pressured McCabe to refute the Times report. (RELATED: White House Says McCabe Told Reince Priebus That Russia Report Was ‘BS’)

In his forthcoming book, Kurtz writes of Priebus’ response:

Priebus was stunned by the implication that he was pressuring law enforcement. Had he been set up? Why was the FBI leaking this information when one of its top officials had initiated the conversation?

So has the 4 liberal Bitches of Hillary that post on CHT.

McCabe will remain on paid status, until he is granted full gubment retirement benefits.

Why?

He left, the clock stops now. Not in freaking 7 more weeks.

Oh Hillary

"We have to send a clear message, just because your child gets across the border, that doesn’t mean the child gets to stay,” the former secretary of state said. “So, we don’t want to send a message that is contrary to our laws or will encourage more children to make that dangerous journey.”

Florida Gov. Rick Scott (R.) on Friday suspended Joy Cooper, the Democratic mayor of Hallandale Beach, after state prosecutors charged her with campaign finance violations, official misconduct, and money laundering.

Cooper, 57, was arrested and released from custody on a $12,000 bond on Thursday as she awaits trial in a case that undercover FBI agents built against her focusing on the mayor's 2012 reelection campaign, during which, prosecutors say, she accepted illegal campaign contributions from Russians, the Miami Herald reported.

Starting in May 2012, undercover FBI agents created a fake real estate company and hired south Florida lawyer and lobbyist Alan Koslow, of the prominent law firm Becker & Poliakoff, to represent them and contact Cooper to find a development site in Hallandale Beach.

Koslow introduced the agents to Cooper in her city hall office in July. At the meeting, they discussed a development project and Cooper's upcoming reelection bid. The mayor boasted she could deliver two other votes for the project on the five-member city commission.

In return for her support, Cooper wanted a substantial campaign donation, according to an arrest affidavit filed by state prosecutors in Broward County Circuit Court.

Koslow showed Cooper a proposed donation and asked if it was a "good number."

"No," Cooper said. "Add a zero."

"Three zeros. Is that fine?" Koslow responded.

"Yes," she replied, according to the affidavit.

Later that month, Koslow and Cooper agreed on a $10,000 contribution in exchange for her support for the development project. The contribution would come in two installments.

In August, the undercover FBI agents posing as the developers gave Koslow the first payment—$100 bills totaling $8,000 in a Dunkin' Donuts bag, according to the affidavit. They agreed that Koslow, still unaware of the developers' true identities, "would channel these funds" to Copper and her two allies on the city commission.

Because of the $500 limit on local campaign contributions, of which Koslow was aware, the lawyer told the agents that he would funnel the funds through his connections to two Russian organizations, which would write checks to Cooper's campaign.

Trump’s Gripe Against McCabe Included Comey Flight

“The day after President Trump fired James Comey, he became so furious watching television footage of the ousted FBI director boarding a government-funded plane from Los Angeles back to Washington, D.C. that he called the bureau’s acting director, Andrew McCabe, to vent,” NBC News reports.

“Trump demanded to know why Comey was allowed to fly on an FBI plane after he had been fired… McCabe told the president he hadn’t been asked to authorize Comey’s flight, but if anyone had asked, he would have approved it.

“The president was silent for a moment and then turned on McCabe, suggesting he ask his wife how it feels to be a loser — an apparent reference to a failed campaign for state office in Virginia that McCabe’s wife made in 2015.”

"FBI Deputy Director Andrew McCabe is, and has been, a dedicated public servant who has served this country well. Bogus attacks on the FBI and DOJ to distract attention from a legitimate criminal inquiry does long term, unnecessary damage to these foundations of our government."
--former Attorney General Eric Holder on twitter.

Rep. Joaquin Castro (D-Texas) took to Twitter to warn Trump not to try to place an ally in the No. 2 FBI post, which is not a political appointment and is typically filled by a veteran FBI agent.

"Andrew McCabe should not be replaced with a presidential stooge put in place just to kill the Russia investigation," Castro wrote.

Another comment:

How devastating must the House Intel report be if the FBI director went from threatening to resign if McCabe was removed to forcing McCabe out after viewing the report?

House voted to Release the memo.

NOT ONE DEMOCRAT WANTED IT RELEASED

"The vote was announced to reporters by California Rep. Adam Schiff, the top Democrat on the committee, who called it a “very sad day, I think, in the history of this committee.” The motion passed on a party-line basis, he said."
