Trump: 'Ask Jeff Sessions' why isn't Obama administration under investigation for Russian meddling? By LOUIS NELSON 02/21/2018 10:05 AM EST President Donald Trump suggested online Wednesday that the Obama administration should be subject to federal investigation for its failure to stop Russian efforts to interfere in the 2016 presidential election, directing his followers to “ask Jeff Sessions” why such probes were not underway.
“Question: If all of the Russian meddling took place during the Obama Administration, right up to January 20th, why aren’t they the subject of the investigation? Why didn’t Obama do something about the meddling? Why aren’t Dem crimes under investigation? Ask Jeff Session!” the president wrote on Twitter, misspelling the name of his attorney general, Jeff Sessions. Trump later reposted the tweet with the correct spelling of the attorney general’s name
Read the indictment. Not your favorite liberal columnists telling you what to think. If you had actually read the indictment itself, then you would understand what I am talking about.
Unfortunately, you don't think (much less read) for yourself. So you are at the mercy of those who are attempting to influence you. unwittingly of course... just like Michael Moore, CNN, and MSNBC were unwittingly doing the Russian's work by sowing seeds of discontent at a "Trump is not my President" rally.
A new Quinnipiac poll finds American voters give President Trump a negative 37% to 58% approval rating, down from 40% to 55% earlier this month.
By a 57% to 41% margin voters say that Trump is not fit to serve as president. There is a wide gender gap, with men divided 49% to 49% on whether Trump is fit. Women say 65% to 33% he is not fit. ____________
Women don't like p. grabbers -- fornicators -- adulterers.
The earpiece was in place for an interview MSNBC. A 16 year old kid can go to California on vacation. His father was an FBI agent. You have been hoaxes.
On Wednesday, MSNBC host Ali Velshi blasted conspiracy mongers who are attacking the students who survived the massacre at Marjory Stoneman Douglas High School in Parkland, FL as “crisis actors” perpetrating a government hoax.
“This is typically beneath us to even report,” said Velshi’s co-anchor Stephanie Ruhle.
“But it’s important right now,” Velshi said, “because it’s happening in real time. You are seeing the spreading of fake news in real time around a tragedy that I was physically at.”
The anchors brought up Donald Trump Jr.’s promotion of a tweet attacking 17-year-old David Hogg and highlighted social media posts claiming that Hogg is actually a Los Angeles resident and pointing to his use of an Interruptible Foldback (IFB) earpiece in a TV interview.
“I’m wearing one right now,” said Velshi, indicating that the IFB is not some kind of secret communications through which Hogg was being fed cues. It’s a commonly used way for TV personnel to communicate on camera. “This is how my producers talk to me.”
I don't watch cable news, other than to occasionally laugh at CNN or MSNBC after a big event.
So what did it mean to you when the indictment stated upfront:
Defendant ORGANIZATION had a strategic goal to sow discord in the U.S. political system, including the 2016 U.S. presidential election.
or...
By in or around May 2014, the ORGANIZATION's strategy included interfering with the 2016 U.S. presidential election, with the stated goal of "spreading distrusts towards the candidates and political system in general."
I read 400 words a minute. I have a nearly photographic memory.
well alky, for someone with a photographic memory and the ability to read like you claim, why do you spend your life copy/pasting trump's tweets and news stories we've already read?
your claims would indicate an above average intellect, yet you post like a child.
and your firing squad threats against our host. that's very bad form, alky.
start your own blog. if your claims of such a stupendous intellect are true, it should take you just a couple hours at best.

NRA spent 21 million
Liberals will try to blame NRA made up of millions of legal citizens spending a very small fraction of what the liberals do. Hopefully changed soon by a USSC decision.
Why didn't then-President Barack Obama stop Russia's campaign of active measures against the 2016 presidential campaign?
President Trump has been casting blame on his predecessor for not acting against the scheme since Justice Department special counsel Robert Mueller brought indictments against a batch of Russians and Russian entities on Friday for the role they played.
FACT CHECK: This story is complex and goes beyond a simple "True" or "False" grade. One basic notion that is false is the idea the Obama administration took no action — it did. The question that has been asked many times since the presidential election is why it didn't do more.
Private warnings Among other things, top U.S. intelligence officials — including then-CIA Director John Brennan — privately warned their Russian counterparts not to persist with their active measures. Obama himself told Russian President Vladimir Putin not to interfere in the election. These warnings did not work.
Publicity Obama administration officials also told reporters on background that Russian intelligence operatives were behind the cyberattacks that led to the release of emails stolen from political figures and institutions. Later, Director of National Intelligence James Clapper and Homeland Security Secretary Jeh Johnson formally blamed the Russian government in an official statement.
Article continues after sponsorship
Although it wasn't universally accepted, the active measures campaign became a part of the political campaign itself. Trump and opponent Hillary Clinton traded barbs about the Russian interference during their debates.
YouTube Trump has gone back and forth about what he accepts and what he doesn't about the nature of the attack. Sometimes he acknowledges it; other times he has cited the denials he has gotten from Putin, saying, "I really believe that when he tells me that, he means it."
The president's position since Friday's indictments has been that the interference campaign did take place — but that he and his campaign had nothing to do with it. On that point, Trump has been consistent: There was, he says, "no collusion."
Mueller is focused on whether that is so and whether Trump may have broken the law if he tried to frustrate the investigation. More on this below.
Diplomatic response After Election Day, Obama ordered the U.S. intelligence community to issue a public report about the Russian scheme. Once it had — and concluded Russia's attack was aimed at helping Trump and hurting Clinton — the United States imposed a slate of punitive measures against Moscow. In addition to imposing new sanctions, Washington also expelled a number of Russian diplomats and closed two Russian diplomatic compounds in Maryland and New York.
Roger also didn't answer the question, because he cannot think for himself.
He claims he read an indictment, which he obviously didn't. Because the indictment itself goes to great pains to suggest that the motivation of the Russian group was not to "help Donald Trump" but to spread discord.
They suggested that they went after Hillary Clinton more than others, because (like everyone else) they expected her to win, and therefor they worked harder to undercut her than anyone else... hoping that after the election was over that they could undermine "her" Presidency...
The indictment also stated that once Trump won the election, that the group started an anti-trump campaign, which included organizing rallies and social media attacks. Approximately half of the money they spent, was spent "after" the election... in an attempt to undermine the legitimacy of the Trump victory
Roger, however, doesn't understand this because he didn't read it. The fact is that he parrots the liberal media who cherry picked portions (where it stated that the group targeted Clinton, while backing Sanders and Trump - without explaining the reasoning or giving the full story)... is prove positive that he didn't read it himself, he didn't make his own opinions. He simply cut and pasted a whole bunch of liberal columnists who basically control Roger's opinions.
I would call it sad, but it's actually the mindset of most people suffering from TDS. The ability to take a legal document that spells out something they didn't want to hear, and turn it into something more palatable for their mindset.
He claims he read an indictment, which he obviously didn't. Because the indictment itself goes to great pains to suggest that the motivation of the Russian group was not to "help Donald Trump" but to spread discord.
I did and i saw that it did't put a nail in the Trump coffin, far from it But you think it proved Trump is cleared and that Clinton and Obama are at fault for the Russian intervention into 2016. You edited out the portions of your comments that called your conclusions false.
Right wing lies that CH will find a way to blame the MSM for the shooting.
David Hogg, 17, went from Florida high school student to mass shooting survivor to telegenic advocate for gun-control laws in a few days. And just as quickly, online conspiracy theorists began spinning viral lies attacking the teenager’s credibility.
By Wednesday — a week after a gunman wielding a semiautomatic rifle killed 17 people at Hogg’s Parkland, Fla., school — online media sites including YouTube swelled with false allegations that Hogg was secretly a “crisis actor” playing the part of a grieving student in local and national television news reports.
Hogg was not the only one targeted by an online campaign that flared up on anonymous forums such as 4chan and Reddit before it reached conservative websites, Twitter, Facebook and Google’s video platform. Collectively the posts questioned the honesty and credibility of the grieving students as they spoke out against gun violence and in some cases publicly challenged President Trump, the National Rifle Association and lawmakers opposed to gun control.
The falsehoods about Parkland students come even after the technology giants have tried to tamp down on disinformation campaigns by hiring thousands of moderators, changing the algorithms that surface information and enacting stricter policies. The Parkland flare-up underscores how efforts to quell the spread of such online conspiracies remain incomplete on platforms that derive profits by attracting eyeballs en masse.
The incident has also highlighted how nobody — even a group of teens just days removed from seeing their fellow students gunned down — is off limits in the no-holds-barred world of online commentary, with its often-toxic mix of rumor, innuendo and unrefuted accusation.
The president’s son, Donald Trump Jr., was among the many people who “liked” a tweet criticizing Hogg. On YouTube, a video featuring one conspiracy theory reached the top of the service’s “Trending” clips list and was viewed more than 200,000 times before the company admitted that its filtering of news had not functioned as intended and it blocked the video. A search for Hogg’s name on YouTube on Wednesday turned up eight conspiracy videos and only two legitimate news reports in a top-10 listing before YouTube intervened.
Discrediting Trump is a Russian maneuver to make him look like he's illegitimate and makes the US look foolish for electing Trump. You claim that because Clinton lost, it was the Russians got Trump elected. BULLSHIT. I hated the Russian intervention into our foundation, where we elect our leaders. She lost, IMO because she didn't spend enough money and effort in the three states that gave it to Trump by 72000 votes. She blew it.
Mark Janus has worked for years as an Illinois state employee, and pays about $550 annually to the powerful public-sector union known as AFSCME.
While not a member of the union, he is required under state law to hand over a weekly portion of his paycheck – which he says is a violation of his constitutional rights.
"I work for Health and Family Services, and I'm forced to pay money to a union that then supports political causes that I don't agree with," Janus told Fox News.
Now, Janus' free-speech fight is before the Supreme Court, which holds arguments in the appeal on Monday. And the political and financial stakes are huge for the broader American labor union movement, which already has begun sounding the alarm about the consequences should the justices rule for Janus."
But I only believe what the indictment stated. Nothing more, nothing less. These Russians did not intervene because they wanted Trump to win, they intervened because they wanted to sow discord (and of course they have).
It didn't work on me. It worked on you. You continue to prove that it worked every time you irrationally argue that a few FB ads and tweets swung an election.
It only claims that no Americans were apart of this scheme. It doesn't technically clear anyone or anything... other than we know Americans (including the Trump campaign) didn't conspire with these particular Russian actors.
There is still an outside chance that Americans had something to do with the hacking of the emails, but I think that's unlikely to be shown by Special counsel... who I quite honestly don't expect to even be able to identify specifically who hacked the email servers (and no, saying "Russians" is not an identification).
The special counsel investigation has drifted off course. They no longer appear to be dealing with Russia or Trump, but rather Ukraine and Manafort. I suspect we may not hear "much" more at all in regards to Russia, and probably very little about Trump.
Moreover... you continue to accuse me of things I have nothing to do with. I have made no claims (for instance) about the students from the mass shooting... yet you continue to accuse me of a bunch of random stuff like that. You hear something, and then immediately project it onto me.
Almost as if you are not bright enough to understand that just because one person says something, that you cannot simply attribute those statements unto others who didn't make them.
It's simply irrational. I am only responsible for what "I" state. Not anyone else.
So please Roger, get a grip. Take a pill. Get a life outside of being angry about Trump... it's slowly eating away at your insides. The rest of us are simply going on with our lives, and enjoying the fruits of a great economy and hope for the future.
But I only believe what the indictment stated. Nothing more, nothing less. These Russians did not intervene because they wanted Trump to win, they intervened because they wanted to sow discord (and of course they have).
They had two goals. One to get the most incompetent Presidential candidate of a major party in history and to sew doubt into the elections in the US
Your assumptions are pulled out of your shithole.
I have made no claims (for instance) about the students from the mass shooting... yet you continue to accuse me of a bunch of random stuff like that. You hear something, and then immediately project it onto me.
It was a half way joking prediction, not a direct accusation.
I'm not on medication that have an affect on my mental abilities. If you hand't got childish and blocked me, I would tell you what I take.
You have said incorrectly that the report found there was no effect on the outcome of the election. In fact, it did not address the question. Homeland Security officials did conclude that cyberattacks didn't tamper with vote tallies in 2016.
On top of that, I have been getting better every single day. I no longer need a walker. I'm almost fully functional. Major surgery has a huge impact on the body. I am almost eight months post surgery. In a very good recovery like I've been blessed.
Prograf isn't a mentally damaging med. I will be on it for life. I'm going to get a blood test tomorrow. Two weeks ago they were outstanding, probably better than yours 💦💦💦💦💦

ALBANY, N.Y. — A Republican congresswoman from upstate New York said Wednesday that “many” people who commit mass murder turn out to be Democrats.
U.S. Rep. Claudia Tenney made the remarks on Talk 1300 Radio during a discussion about calls for stricter gun control since last week’s deadly Florida high school shooting.
“Yeah, well, obviously there is a lot of politics in it, and it’s interesting that so many of these people that commit the mass murders end up being Democrats, but the media doesn’t talk about that either,” Tenney told talk show host Fred Dicker.
Penney did not offer any evidence to support that statement.

Marjory Stoneman Douglas High School student Colton Haab said he was approached by CNN to ask a question at Wednesday night's town hall but decided not to after the network gave him a "scripted question," quashing one he wrote himself. Haab, a member of the Junior ROTC shielded students while the school was under attack from the shooter, said he was going to ask about using veterans as armed security guards. (CNN response below.)
"CNN had originally asked me to write a speech and questions and it ended up being all scripted," Haab told WPLG-TV.
CNN aired a town hall on the Florida school shooting with Sens. Marco Rubio (R-FL) and Bill Nelson (D-FL) that included NRA's Dana Loesch and Broward County Sheriff Scott Israel that was moderated by Jake Tapper. Students and parents asked questions about gun control and school safety.
"I expected to be able to ask my questions and give my opinion on my questions," Haab said.
"Colton Haab, a member of the Junior ROTC who shielded classmates in the midst of terror says he did not get to share his experience," WPLG's Janine Stanwood explained.
"Colton wrote questions about school safety, suggested using veterans as armed school security guards but claims CNN wanted him to ask a scripted question instead so he decided not to go," Stanwood reported.
"CNN had originally asked me to write a speech and questions and it ended up being all scripted," Haab said. "I don't think that it's going get anything accomplished. It's not gonna ask the true questions that all the parents and teachers and students have."

Rubio did fairly well. This is pretty good. I'm going to give blood soon, so this will have to do..
Mr Rubio is a senator representing Florida in Washington: AP Mr Rubio is a senator representing Florida in Washington: AP More The father of one of the victims of the high school shooting in Parkdale, Florida, last week has called Sen Marco Rubio and President Donald Trump's response to that massacre "incredibly weak".
Fred Guttenberg, whose 14-year-old daughter Jaime was shot and killed when a gunman began firing at students at Marjory Stoneman Douglas High School last week, confronted the senator during a live town hall aired on CNN.
"When I like you, you know it. When I'm pissed at you, you know it. Your comments this week and those of our president have been pathetically weak," Mr Guttenberg told Mr Rubio at the town hall in Florida.
"So you and I are now eye to eye. Because I want to like you, look at me and tell me guns were the fator in the hunting of our kids in this school this week," Mr Guttenberg continued. "And look at me and tell me you accept it and you will work with us to do something about guns."
Mr Rubio offered to explain his statements in response, but was cut off by boos from the crowd. At one point, CNN anchor Jake Tapper, who was moderating the event, had to step in and ask for respect for the senator in the interest of time.
"I'm saying that the problems that we're facing here today cannot be solved by gun laws alone, and I"m going to tell you what we've done already, and what i hope we'll do moving forward," Mr Rubio said.
Mr Guttenberg pressed him on whether guns were a primary factor in the shooting: "It's the weapon of choice, can you say that?"
"Absolutely," Mr Rubio said.
Mr Rubio said that he does not agree that an assault weapons ban should be put back in place at the federal level, saying that the laws do not actually ban all assault-style weapons.
Mr Rubio said that he is working on legislation to set a minimum age for gun purchases, improved background checks, and says he supports banning bump stocks.
The Florida senator later said that he is considering his position on large capacity gun magazines, which he hinted could have been used in the shooting one week ago and that several lives could have been saved had they been regulated.
Yep CH, the opinion you pulled out of your shithole. Is most amusing....They were scared shitless of Hillary and that is also a well known hypothesis.....They knew trump was vain, probably have pictures of him and my guess Putin will make a dump when needed. JMO....nothing to back it up, just like most of the drivel you post.....LOL

I will go with the investigators, thank you very much.

Trump: 'Ask Jeff Sessions' why isn't Obama administration under investigation for Russian meddling?

President Donald Trump suggested online Wednesday that the Obama administration should be subject to federal investigation for its failure to stop Russian efforts to interfere in the 2016 presidential election, directing his followers to “ask Jeff Sessions” why such probes were not underway.

Read the indictment.
Someone name Roger ordered a dozen of these hats but forgot to pay for them.

Trump’s Approval Dips Back Down
A new Quinnipiac poll finds American voters give President Trump a negative 37% to 58% approval rating, down from 40% to 55% earlier this month.
By a 57% to 41% margin voters say that Trump is not fit to serve as president. There is a wide gender gap, with men divided 49% to 49% on whether Trump is fit. Women say 65% to 33% he is not fit.

You believed Donald Trump Jr.
Actually Comrade Roger...

Private warnings
Among other things, top U.S. intelligence officials — including then-CIA Director John Brennan — privately warned their Russian counterparts not to persist with their active measures. Obama himself told Russian President Vladimir Putin not to interfere in the election. These warnings did not work.
Publicity
Obama administration officials also told reporters on background that Russian intelligence operatives were behind the cyberattacks that led to the release of emails stolen from political figures and institutions.
YouTube
Trump has gone back and forth about what he accepts and what he doesn't about the nature of the attack.
Diplomatic response
After Election Day, Obama ordered the U.S. intelligence community to issue a public report about the Russian scheme.
I didn't threaten CH.
The parents who met with the President got very emotional.
Troll.
Arm the teachers????????
The President is out of his fucking mind!
Idiot Mrs Alzheimer's disease. Putin has you under oath. Like the President!
You are a lying son of a bitch.
You have lost your fucking mind.

You have lost your mind.

Now, Janus' free-speech fight is before the Supreme Court, which holds arguments in the appeal on Monday. And the political and financial stakes are huge for the broader American labor union movement, which already has begun sounding the alarm about the consequences should the justices rule for Janus."
Sorry Rog...
Bullshit.
But I only believe what the indictment stated. Nothing more, nothing less. These Russians did not intervene because they wanted Trump to win, they intervened because they wanted to sow discord (and of course they have).

Shooting Survivor: CNN Gave Me "Scripted Question" After Denying Question About Armed Guards
We will not tolerate anyone who is a gun rights supporter.

The father of one of the victims of the high school shooting in Parkdale, Florida, last week has called Sen Marco Rubio and President Donald Trump's response to that massacre "incredibly weak".
