Post about important Rudy information

I was told there was breathtaking information regarding Rudy Giuliani

Giuliani says Sessions should 'close' Mueller probe,
as DOJ locks down 'scope memo'
President Trump’s new attorney Rudy Giuliani said Thursday that Attorney General Jeff Sessions should “close” Special Counsel Robert Mueller’s probe – a call that comes amid GOP pressure on Capitol Hill to find out whether the investigation has gone beyond its original mandate.

Giuliani, the former New York City mayor, criticized Sessions and Deputy Attorney General Rod Rosenstein in several interviews this week.

“The basis of the case is dead,” Giuliani said on “Fox & Friends” Thursday, claiming the push to uncover collusion with the Russians has turned up no evidence. “Sessions should step in and close it.”

Anyways, according to the headlines at foxnews.com  Rudy is the latest to call for the Asst Attorney General to close down the investigation that many legal experts feel has gone way off the deep end, and probably has very little to do with Russian election hacking anymore.

I don't see this as quite as exciting as I guess some people do. In fact, it just reinforces the growing narrative that Rosenstein is in over his head, and that he is simply being bullied by Robert Mueller into allowing this fiasco to continue. But I doubt this latest call from a Trump attorney to end the probe will do anything other than fall on deaf ears.

There's a reason why they're hiding the scope memo. Mueller is waaaaay past his authority.

IF hiel Mueller was an honest and open broker for the American people he would release it.

Fox calls bullshit on Rudy!!!!

Fox senior judicial analyst Andrew Napolitano said Thursday that it is “unworthy of belief” that President Trump reimbursed his personal attorney Michael Cohen and didn't know the money was being used to silence adult-film star Stormy Daniels about an alleged 2006 affair with Trump.

“If Rudy [Giuliani] wants the public to believe that Donald Trump reimbursed Michael Cohen $130,000 and didn’t know what it was for, didn’t know that it was going to silence Stormy Daniels, that is unworthy of belief,” said Napolitano, a former New Jersey Superior Court judge.

He described Trump as a “man who knows where every one of his nickels has gone.”

Giuliani, the former New York City mayor now serving on the president's legal team, told Fox’s Sean Hannity in an interview on Wednesday night that Trump reimbursed Cohen for the $130,000 payment to Daniels.

Remember when political speech was not a crime.

I remember this place without an unemployed loser like you....

Wow, Rudy just made things worse, James s said, and then said...

In a interview he gave on “Fox & Friends” this morning where he contradicted himself during the interview and ends up accidentally tying the payment from Cohen to Stormy Daniels to the campaign.

At the beginning Giuliani argued that payment was made for purely personal reasons:
“This is for personal reasons. The was the president had been hurt personally, not politically, personally so much — and the first lady — by some of the false allegations. That one more false allegation six years old, I think [Cohen] was trying to help the family. For that he’s treated like some kind of villain.”

Giuliani added that the $130,000 payment was “to save not so much their marriage, as much as their reputation.”

But at the end, Giuliani flip-flopped and tied the payment to political considerations:
“Imagine if that came out of October 15, 2016, in the middle of the last debate with Hillary Clinton? Cohen made it go away. He did his job.”

Better fire Rudy, Donald.

Trump's personal attorney says that an investigation into Trump should stop. Wow, imagine that. Who needs Congress and the Justice Department, when we could just listen to someone's personal attorney?

Trump's lawyer Cohen has been wiretapped for some time.

Former U.S. Attorney Chuck Rosenberg, now an NBC News analyst, says there's a high bar for having a wiretap approved.

"The affidavits are typically highly detailed and carefully vetted by experienced lawyers," he said. "In all cases the wiretap must be approved by a federal judge."

Rosenberg said that wiretaps are usually approved for an investigation into a current crime and not solely for possible crimes that have been committed in the past.

"This is an exacting process where the government must demonstrate to a federal judge that there is an ongoing crime."

Rudy Giuliani instantly going off the rails in news interviews somehow seems perfectly appropriate for this Administration. It's like he didn't prepare at all, doesn't really know much about Trump's legal situation, but has a big name so Trump hired him and sent him out to make some noise. Classic Trump personnel decision.

Unfortunately he's being reigned in already. Just as it was starting to get entertaining.
