Fox News was ranked the “most trusted” American TV news brand in the United States, and was second overall, behind only the British-based BBC, according to a new study. The Research Intelligencer study, conducted via Brand Keys, analyzed 4,012 viewers who rated both broadcast and cable news organizations that they watch at least three times per week to determine how those brands resonated from a trust standpoint. Ninety percent of the viewers surveyed said they trusted the BCC, with 87 percent saying they trusted Fox News.
PBS finished third with 86 percent, followed by Bloomberg and MSNBC, to join BBC and Fox News among the five most trusted TV news brands, according to the study. The three major broadcast are listed next, with CBS’s 72 percent topping both NBC and ABC.
CNN, the news organization President Trump regularly mocks as “fake news,” finished behind its cable news rivals with only 69 percent of participants saying they trust the network.
DePaul University professor and media analyst Jeffrey McCall told Fox News the study is a fair indication of how viewers feel about news organizations.
Here is the full list and their trust scores:
- BBC: 90%
- Fox: 87%
- PBS: 86%
- Bloomberg: 81%
- MSNBC: 80%
- CBS: 72%
- NBC: 70%
- ABC: 69%
- CNN: 69%
- Sinclair: 58%
Ironically I just spent some time watching most of the Sunday political show panels from this past week. I realized that Fox News was quite literally the only network that allows conservatives to still be involved. Aas always, FOX choose to always have two conservative and two liberals. A vast percentage of the panels were made up of Washington Post and NY Times journalists.
Oh and if you wonder why CNN is nearly last on the list? Look no further than the fact that they flaunt Jeffry Toobin as their "legal analyst".

Sounds just Like Pastor James.
"Pastor Darrell Scott thanked President Donald Trump for helping inner-city communities, predicting he would be the “most pro-black president in our lifetime.”
“I will say this, this administration has taken a lot of people by surprise … this is probably the most proactive administration regarding urban American and the faith-based community in my lifetime, he said. “To be honest, this is probably going to be the most pro-black president in our lifetime.”
NOAA has released the latest State of the Climate report, its annual checkup on our planet.
So, how did Earth fare in 2017?
Greenhouse gases in the atmosphere: highest concentrations ever. Global surface temperature: near-record high. Sea surface temperature: near-record high. Global sea level: highest on record.
Warm global temperatures have been a strong trend in recent years: the four warmest years on record all occurred since 2014, and last year was among them. In fact, 2017 was the warmest non-El NiƱo year ever recorded.
The past three years were "substantially warmer than the previous — kind of establishing a new neighborhood in terms of global temperature," said Deke Arndt, a climatologist at NOAA and the lead editor of the report. "And 2017 reinforced that."
Several countries reported record high annual temperatures: Argentina, Uruguay, Spain and Bulgaria. And Mexico had record high annual temperatures for the fourth year in a row.
NOAA's report, based on contributions from 500 scientists in 60 countries, was released today on the website of the American Meteorological Society.
The findings show the extent to which humans have already changed key aspects of our climate as we've increased concentrations of greenhouse gases in the atmosphere.
The Arctic continued to warm, and preliminary data show that the world's glaciers have continued to diminish, with the average glacier losing 72 feet off its top since 1980.
A coral bleaching event from 2014 to 2017 was "the longest, most widespread, and almost certainly most destructive on record," the report notes. Mass coral bleaching used to occur at a rate of once every 25–30 years in the 1980s. But now it happens about every six years, and it's expected to accelerate as the oceans keep warming. Severe bleaching is now occurring faster than reefs can recover.
The report shows a number of small shifts in our climate metrics – shifts that can drive extreme events like the heat waves, downpours and wildfires we've seen in recent weeks.
"We've had something on the order of one degree [Celsius] or so of global warming," says Radley Horton, a climate scientist at Columbia University's Lamont-Doherty Earth Observatory, who wasn't involved in the new report. "It doesn't sound like much, but already it's producing more frequent heat waves. We've had globally less than a foot of sea level rise in the last century. Again it doesn't sound like much, but for certain regions it's already causing a fourfold increase in the frequency of coastal flooding."
What's most surprising in the report, he says, are the hints that we may be reaching tipping points where change accelerates or becomes irreversible.
"The further we push the climate system by increasing greenhouse gas concentrations, the greater the potential that we get a sudden surprise — something that climate models and their predictions aren't able to prepare us for," Horton says.
Last year saw a new record low in the extent of Arctic sea ice in the winter. As sea ice melts, there is less of its white surface reflecting the sun's rays, and more dark blue ocean absorbing the sunlight. That can create a positive feedback loop in which warmer oceans drive a faster decline of Arctic sea ice than climate models had predicted.
Just a decade ago, Horton says, the models predicted that the Arctic could be ice-free in the summer by 2100, while more recent models suggested that could happen by 2050. "Scientists are now concerned it could happen in the next couple decades," he says.
However, not every aspect of climate was record-breaking last year. Tropical cyclones were only slightly above average. Only the North Atlantic basin had an above-normal season, with hurricanes Harvey, Irma and Maria all causing huge destruction, in the basin's seventh most active season in 164 years.
And fire activity was at its lowest globally since at least 2003 – but the U.S. had by far its most expensive fire season ever, with more than $18 billion in damages.
The report "highlights the urgency for us as a society to reduce greenhouse gas emissions," says Horton, "and prepare our most vulnerable communities for some of these climate changes that we're locked into."

Nope, don't wonder at all.
It's like watching Roger...Trump is bad RUSSIA!, Trump is bad RUSSIA!, Trump is bad RUSSIA!, TRUMP! RUSSIA!...
...WITH the traitorous bobble heads agreeing in unison.
And Fox received exactly zero emmy nominations from the left leaning org. Even liberal websites got some. But Fox gets completely ignored.
The Trump administration cut off about $10 billion in Russian arms transfers in just a few months time as part of its efforts to challenge Russia. The administration considers Russia a strategic competitor, according to Christopher Ford, assistant secretary of State and head of the Bureau of International Security and Nonproliferation.
“We think it is important, and certainly Congress felt it extremely important, to use these tools to try to deny the Russian war machine the revenues that it gets from those kinds of arms engagements, and the strategic advantage it seeks to cultivate, and to maintain, and to increase,” he told the Hudson Institute’s Rebeccah Heinrichs in its Policy Talk podcast last week.
The cut-off has come through the State Department’s implementation of the Countering America’s Adversaries Through Sanctions Act (CAATSA) of 2017, which sanctions countries that engage in significant defense trade with Russia, Iran, or North Korea."
There is a false impressiom that PBS and the BBC are somehow "objective" when in actual fact they are propaganda organs for the deep state bureaucracy/

What is the QAnon conspiracy theory?
Share Tweet Reddit Flipboard EmailA number of attendees at President Trump's rally in Florida on Tuesday were decked out in homemade apparel celebrating QAnon, a convoluted conspiracy theory that's taken off among a segment of Mr. Trump's base. So what is QAnon, and why are we talking about something this ridiculous?
The story of Q
Those who subscribe to the QAnon conspiracy theory believe that a person who posts messages on the 4Chan and 8Chan internet message boards under the name "Q" is a high-ranking government official. And according to Q, Mr. Trump is on the verge of exposing a cabal of pedophiles, globalists, and celebrities who secretly control America.
Trump
Supporters of President Donald Trump shout down a CNN news crew before a rally Tuesday, July 31, 2018, in Tampa, Fla. CHRIS O'MEARA / AP
That's the central gist of the theory, anyway. The rest is open to some degree of interpretation, which is necessary because Q's posts tend to read like riddles. But YouTube videos created by QAnon believers help fill in the gaps and create a storyline that's more-or-less comprehensible.
QAnon exists as a kind of parallel history which a "deep state" took over decades ago. An all-encompassing theory of the world, it's able to tie together and explain everything from "Pizzagate" to ISIS to the prevalence of mass shootings and the JFK assassination.
Many Q fans believe that President Kennedy was set to reveal the existence of the secret government when he was assassinated. They also believe President Reagan was shot on the deep state's orders, and that all the presidents since he left office – with the exception of Mr. Trump -- have been deep state agents.
The military, eager to see the deep state overthrown, recruited Mr. Trump to run for president. But the deep state, which controls the media, quickly tried to smear him through "fake news" and unfounded allegations of collusion with Russia.
Despite the deep state's best efforts, however, Mr. Trump is winning. Q is releasing sanctioned leaks to the public in order to galvanize them ahead of "The Storm," which is the moment when the deep state's leaders are arrested and sent to Guantanamo Bay. Q's adherents have called this process "the great awakening."
Enter "the storm"
The storm takes its name from Mr. Trump enigmatic comment last October about "the calm before the storm." Q began posting soon after, and said that the storm Mr. Trump referenced are a coming series of mass arrests that would end the deep state forever.
Menstral appears infested with the q anon idiocy......wow!!!! Where you at the tampa rally holding a big Q?????

During a speech in Florida on Tuesday evening, President Trump indicated he has no clue how people buy groceries.
While making a case for a nationwide voter ID law, Trump said, “You know, if you go out and you want to buy groceries, you need a picture on a card — you need ID.”
But as anybody who has been to a grocery store knows, you do not actually have to present a photo ID to buy groceries. Customers can use cash. And in many cases, even if they use a card, they will not be asked to show photo identification.
During the White House press briefing on Wednesday, ABC’s Cecilia Vega asked Press Secretary Sarah Sanders to explain Trump’s comments.
“When was the last time the president went to the grocery store?” Vega asked.
Sanders tried to move on as quickly as possible.
“I’m not sure — I’m not sure why that matters either,” she said.
“Well, because of what he said last night,” Vega followed up. “You go the grocery store, I go to the grocery store — I’ve never had to show an ID when I got to buy groceries.”
Trump has no clue how people buy groceries
In an effort to defend Trump, Sanders resorted to putting words in his mouth, and ended up defending a statement completely different from what he actually said.
“Certainly if you go to a grocery store and you buy beer and wine, you’re certainly going to show your ID,” Sanders said — despite the fact that the words “beer” or “wine” were never uttered by Trump.
“Is that what the president who doesn’t drink meant?” Vega asked.
“He’s not saying every time he went in — he said when you go to the grocery store, I’m pretty sure that everybody in here who has been to a grocery store that has purchased beer or wine has had to show their ID,” Sanders said. “If they didn’t, then that’s probably a problem with the grocery store.”

When was the last time President Donald Trump bought groceries? Aaron Bernstein/Reuters
President Donald Trump on Tuesday appeared not to understand how grocery shopping, or any kind of retail shopping, works.
During a rally in Tampa, Florida, Trump said that if "you want to buy anything, you need ID and you need your picture," but this isn't true for buying standard groceries.
Trump mentioned grocery shopping to make the case for voter ID laws, which he supports.
It comes alongside his unfounded belief that millions voted illegally in the 2016 presidential election, which a 2017 investigation failed to prove.
President Donald Trump on Tuesday appeared not to understand how grocery shopping — or any kind of retail shopping — works.
While making the case for requiring voters to show picture identification at polls, Trump, who has long alleged without evidence that millions of votes were illegally cast in the 2016 presidential election, said that basically all retail transactions required picture ID.
"You know, if you go out and you want to buy groceries, you need a picture on a card, you need ID," Trump said at a rally in Tampa, Florida, supporting GOP Rep. Ron DeSantis' gubernatorial bid. "You go out and you want to buy anything, you need ID and you need your picture."

"Q" signs at President Trump's Florida rally aren't a new slogan for the administration, but rather a conspiracy theory that grew out of comments on an anonymous message board last year.
"Q" is a reference to QAnon, a group of people attempting to decode vague, anonymous comments posted on dark web message boards such as 4chan and 8chan. It's also been called "The Storm" and linked to conspiracy theory Pizzagate, that prompted a 28-year-old man to open fire inside a D.C. pizza shop.
Joseph Uscinski, a University of Miami professor who has been studying conspiracy theories for decades, told USA TODAY people who follow QAnon are typically "Trump supporters who have a strong conspiracy mentality and are probably evangelical."
Here's what you should know about QAnon:
What is it?
A user named "Q" began posting messages on the dark web in October of 2017, The Guardian reports. Q is reportedly a person working in the nation's energy department who has a top secret clearance. QAnon is the community of people trying to understand the meaning of Q's messages.
What do followers believe?
It's difficult to say. "Q" claims to know about a large child sex trafficking ring within the government, or "deep state," Uscinski notes. This user has also posted claims saying Hillary Clinton, and John McCain, are wearing ankle monitors and Clinton and former president Obama are under investigation, New York Magazine reports.
Celebrity connection?
Roseanne Barr has expressed support for QAnon through tweets, referencing in since-deleted messages the "untold story" of "pedophile rings," The Washington Post notes, as well as requesting QAnon to direct message her.
Former Boston Red Sox pitcher Curt Schilling has expressed interest, sharing a YouTube video about the theory in June. Anti-abortion activist Cheryl Sullenger also has shared Q's messages.
Conspiracy theorist and radio host Alex Jones featured Q in a December 2017 show, but has since distanced himself from the movement.
"Even Alex Jones is very skeptical, Uscinski said. "So, that tells you something."
Followers at Florida rally
Inside Florida State Fairgrounds' Expo Hall Tuesday night, Q posters and shirts peppered the crowd chanting "fake news" and "build the wall." While QAnon followers have been a part of public events in the past, this sighting is making QAnon more mainstream. It was the group's "real coming-out party," Washington Post columnist Margaret Sullivan notes.
