This is good stuff

A cat may have nine lives, but Donald Trump and his Presidency must have 900!

H/T - Powerline Blog

Meanwhile Trump's approval rating has steadily risen from a low RCP averate of 37% (at the end of 2017) to a high water mark of approximately 44% today. Neither the President or the general public has apparently gotten the memo that Trump is at a tipping point, the walls are closing in, he won't server out his term, and that he is most certainly at the beginning of his end.

Pres. Trump on the right side of issue and History.
"Jewish Americans are flocking to firearms training in the wake of the October 27 attack on Tree of Life Synagogue that killed 11 people.

For example, Haaretz reports that the Cherev Gidon Israeli Tactical Defense Academy near Scranton, Pennsylvania, is witnessing the highest demand for training it has ever seen.

So, to sum up:

When a Sanders' supporter acts with clear intent to murder Republicans and nearly succeeds, the press ignores any connection to liberal politicians, or the left's violent rhetoric.

When a Trump supporter, whose intentions are still not clear, targets Democrats with faulty pipe bombs that injure no one, the press spends weeks blaming Trump and Republicans for the tone of their rhetoric.

It's not often that you have an opportunity to test media bias. But these two terrible acts of political violence provide one. And the mainstream press flunked the test. Badly.

I'll try and help lo iq commie.

If you take out "outlier" Rasmussen you then need to take out "outlier" Gallup. See they offset themselves. Then we are back to where we were.

Don't worry, we really don't expect you to understand.

who ultimately writes the script for these assholes? the talking points are identical across the media outlets.

it's like "alky TV" - one giant fucking copy/paste.

Actually it would be 43% exactly.

If you removed Gallup as the "outlier"

Then it would be 46% exactly.

Do you find that just as funny, or is your warped humor limited to laughing at yourself?

Btw...at the beginning of November 2010 (same point in his Presidency), Obama's RCP average was sitting between 45 and 46.

So fucking what....the network news all individually beat all of those daily.....again proving nothing.

What's with these election polls? They're all over the place.

They're trying to guess who is going to show up to vote. I suspect they are undercounting Republican support again.

I also suspect a higher number of Republican voters are not answering the phone.

What I find funny is your inability to think or see the obvious.....idiot

Commonsense said...

Well Dennis it can be interpreted several ways.

1. More people in the country trust Fox News as an authoritative source for information than CNN and MSNBC combined.
2. Most of the country is center-right and are ok with Trump.

I do know one thing. Fox News viewers vote.

my personal rule of thumb -

i don't believe any of them. i think there are two relatively new constants in place:

1) leftist pollsters like nate silver are effectively making it up as they go along informed by nothing more than their liberal bias...

2) conservative/republican respondents - when they respond at all do what i do - LIE.

i have never given a pollster an accurate response to questions regarding national or state politics. here in NY my vote is canceled out on a 9 to 1 ratio anyway, so whether it's gallup (who has called me more than once) or siena (which is 10 minutes from my house and polled locally relatively heavily as they were just getting started) they lean left and i treat them as such.

- but mostly i just hang up the phone.

You mean like in Arizona where over the same basic time period ABC/Predictive Insights has McSally up by seven, while NBC/Marist has Sinema up by six?

When people ask me why I don't provide the same election projections that I used to, I point to the fact that I simply don't trust polling anymore. So many polls were so far off in 2016 and not any of those pollsters were questioned or criticized. Almost as if people wanted to blame "reality" for getting wrong what the polling got right.

The Energy Information Administration said Thursday that the U.S. produced more than 11.3 million barrels a day in August, a 4 percent increase over the old record set in July.

Russia’s energy ministry estimates that country pumped 11.2 million barrels a day in August. OPEC reports Saudi Arabia pumped 10.4 million barrels a day.

It’s the first time since 1973 that the U.S. leads the world in oil production.

Several states hit record production in August including Texas, which accounts for about 40 percent of U.S. crude. The energy agency says pipeline bottlenecks in Texas and New Mexico are causing more use of trucks and rail cars to haul oil."

This is great news.
