Is that the Democrats will up their offer on border security to $5 billion in order to facilitate the end of the Government shutdown. But they will demand that the Border Security Agency cannot use if for what they would like to use it for.

Mueller’s investigation had produced the indictments or convictions of 32 people previously, including four Trump associates. On Aug. 21, a jury convicted former Trump campaign chairman Paul Manafort of eight counts of tax and bank fraud. Former deputy Trump campaign manager Rick Gates, former national security adviser Michael Flynn and former campaign adviser George Papadopoulos have each pleaded guilty to various charges.
Separately, Trump’s personal attorney, Michael Cohen, pleaded guilty in New York to tax evasion, lying to a bank and campaign finance violations that Cohen told a court had been directed by Trump. Samuel Patten, a Republican operative, pleaded guilty in Washington to failing to register as a foreign agent in connection with work for a Ukrainian political party and admitted that he had steered an illegal foreign donation to Trump’s inaugural fund. Neither of those cases were brought by Mueller’s office.
WASHINGTON (AP) — Roger Stone, a confidant of President Donald Trump, was arrested Friday morning on several criminal charges stemming from the special counsel's Russia investigation.
Stone is charged in a seven-count indictment with witness tampering, obstruction and false statements about his interactions related to the release by WikiLeaks of hacked emails during the 2016 presidential election. Some of those false statements were made to the House intelligence committee, according to the indictment.

A judge has handed down a 401-year sentence to a Tulare County man after he was convicted of numerous violent sex crimes, including forcible rape, kidnapping, and criminal threats.
Macario Cerda, 39, had previous convictions for felony domestic violence and criminal threats against the victims’ mother, according to Tulare County District Attorney Tim Ward.
Cerda reportedly assaulted one of the mother’s children while threatening harm to other family members.
During one of the victim’s impact statements, the victim said Cerda held a knife to her sister’s throat and cautioned the judge:
“Never grant him any possibility at being deported because he has crawled his way back into the States illegally way too many times.”
According to the district attorney, after a previous conviction, Cerda was deported and returned within five months.
