The Democratic chairman of the House Homeland Security Committee said that he “would not rule out a wall in certain instances” after President Donald Trump proposed a new immigration and border security plan Saturday in an attempt to end the partial government shutdown.
Asked if he would “rule out a wall,” Rep. Bennie Thompson of Mississippi said, “I would not rule out a wall in certain instances."
“The notion that we can't have barriers is just something that's not true, but again ... you have to have a plan, and the plan that the president initially started with is not where he is now. And so we don't know where he will be tomorrow, but clearly, Democrats are for border security, but we're not for this constantly moving the ball just for a talking point.”
Even if the Vice President and McConnell reach an agreement, his Twitter Storm will continue on Tuesday morning.

His approval ratings are almost as low as Richard Nixon.
And as to the Buzzfeed story. Giuliani admitted that Cohen and the President had communicated with each other.
"Which would be perfectly normal," Giuliani told CNN's "State of the Union." "So what?"
"As far as I know, President Trump did not have discussions with him," he added. "Certainly, no discussions with him in which he told him or counseled him to lie."
You would have to believe that the President didn't lie to his lawyer about his conversations with his lawyer.
I don't think that he was undercutting Pelosi. He's the chairman of the house Homeland Security Committee. You have to believe that he had not consulted with Pelosi.
There's only two possibilities:
1. He didn't consult with Pelosi and he's gone rogue or 2. He did consult with Pelosi and it's nothing but a bait and switch.
As far as Coulter et al is concerned, Trump can say he stood up to the extremist in his party to get a deal can Pelosi say the same?
if that were true the wall would be under construction and the government would be fully open.
