The most serious potential development for Trump came with the expansion of the House Intelligence Committee investigation beyond Russia, which likely means special counsel Robert Mueller's report will not end the President's political exposure.
House Intelligence Chairman Adam Schiff announced that he would also look at whether any business ties between Trump and Saudi Arabia or any other nation were creating leverage over the administration's foreign policy.
So far we have already had one House investigation, one Senate investigation, one FBI investigation, and are nearing the end of a special counsel investigation. The original House investigation found no evidence of Trump Russia collusion. The Senate investigation found no evidence of Trump Russia collusion. The FBI (as stated by Comey and others under oath) had not uncovered any actual evidence of Trump Russia collusion. Lastly, Robert Mueller and his Special Counsel investigation is 634 days into the investigation and has yet to produce any evidence pointing to (much less any indictments of anyone involved in) the Trump campaign colluding with Russia.
So let's be perfectly clear. If the Mueller Special Counsel report comes out and provides nothing in terms of Trump campaign Russian collusion, then that whole thing is over. Done. Finished. Completed. Yesterday's news.
Nobody (outside of Congress) cared much about these congressional investigations when they first took place. Despite constant leaks, innuendo, political posturing, and blatant accusational rhetoric, it came across as members of congress being political and partisan.
Nearly everyone in America believes that Mueller is the ultimate investigator and has the ultimate say. What he says will likely carry the day for the vast majority of Americans. Most people I speak with (even Democrats) want closure to all of the investigations and allegaions, not continuance.
Democrats asking for a "do-over" on a previous investigation that fell short, is going to fall on deaf ears to most of America (regardless of how much the liberal Democrat shilling MSM might want to push the narrative). Certainly, Democrats in the House will continue to appease their devoted base of people fatally infected with TDS, but at what cost? They campaigned on the issues, on governing, on getting things done. Political gridlock (that we will no doubt see) with the Democrats focused on more "investigations" is not going to do them any good heading into 2020.
If that is the plan, the American Public might just use 2020 for a "do-over" of the 2018 election.

Actually this is total nonsense. In order for the elimination of the SIT deduction to affect you, you must:
1. Itemize deductions, most tax payers take the standard deduction especially since it was doubled to $12,000 for single taxpayers and 24,000 for married couples.
2. Have SIT expenses in excess of $10,000 only the most wealthy of taxpayers in any state would have that problem.
In summary the capping of the SIT deduction would only affect the most wealthy of taxpayers. Not the middle class.
The media was able to get my work schedule, something very easy to do, but it should have been reported as a positive, not negative. When the term Executive Time is used, I am generally working, not relaxing. In fact, I probably work more hours than almost any past President.....
