President Trump turned on Fox News personality Judge Andrew Napolitano after the legal analyst issued a sharp rebuke of the president’s actions outlined in special counsel Robert Mueller’s report as “immoral, criminal, defenseless and condemnable.”

“Thank you to brilliant and highly respected attorney Alan Dershowitz for destroying the very dumb legal argument of ‘Judge’ Andrew Napolitano,” Trump tweeted Saturday night.

Dershowitz said on Fox News Saturday that he didn’t agree with Napolitano on whether Trump obstructed justice by interfering with the special counsel’s investigation. “It can’t be obstruction of justice if the president is acting within his authority,” he said when asked if Trump’s firing of former FBI Director James Comey amounted to obstruction.

Trump blamed the former New Jersey Superior Court judge’s hostility on Trump’s refusal to nominate him to the U.S. Supreme Court, for which Napolitano was rumored to be on the shortlist at the start of Trump’s presidency.

“Ever since Andrew came to my office to ask that I appoint him to the U.S. Supreme Court, and I said NO, he has been very hostile! Also asked for pardon for his friend. A good ‘pal’ of low ratings Shepard Smith.

Chuck Schumer has been in office 38 years.

Nancy Pelosi has been in office 32 years.

Joe Biden was in the Senate for 36 years and Vice President for 8 years.

@realDonaldTrump has been in office 2 years.

Who's the real problem in America?

Yep, after people jumped all over him for saying there were good people on both sides, he backtracked and er... clarified.

Fighting Oversight Is a Dictatorial Move

Robert Reich:
“Such a blanket edict fits a dictator of a banana republic, not the president of a constitutional republic founded on separation of powers.

“If Congress cannot question the people who are making policy, or obtain critical documents, Congress cannot function as a coequal branch of government.

“If Congress cannot get information about the executive branch, there is no longer any separation of powers, as sanctified in the US constitution.

“There is only one power – the power of the president to rule as he wishes. Which is what Donald Trump has sought all along.”

The fact she’s (Yates) resurfacing on Trump-hostile news shows just weeks before the release of what’s expected to be a devastating report from the DOJ IG about how she and other Obama officials abused the FISA process is not a coincidence

The left and media are mocking the use of the word 'coup' in the same manner they mocked Trump for using the term 'wiretap'.

Why isn’t the liberal media thanking an armed off duty border patrol agent from stopping a Trump hater from killing countless Jews on a high holy day?

Why aren’t they treating him like the hero that he is?

Media shows killer’s picture on TV more than the heroes

California does everything it can to make being a legally armed citizen present during a crisis obsolete. Against those odds, a legally armed citizen (an off duty Federal Agent) was thankfully present being the only thing standing between a outright massacre & mitigation.

Yep, after people jumped all over him for saying there were good people on both sides, he backtracked and er... clarified.

Actually he offered the original transcript. Which is what politifact did and what some others finally did, and it shows (without any question) that Trump condemned the White Supremacists while stating that there were others there (who were not neo-Nazis) who were protesting the removal of the statue for completely different reasons.

It just takes someone to actually listen, hear, and think past their own biases. Which, of course, is why you don't get it.

Napolitano said...

Napolitano criticized the president’s actions listed in the Mueller report, which he argued rose to the level of obstruction of justice.

“When the president asked his then-White House counsel to get Mueller fired and then lie about it, that’s obstruction of justice. When he asked Don McGahn to go back to the special counsel and change his testimony, that’s obstruction of justice. When he dangled a pardon in front of [ex-attorney] Michael Cohen in order to keep Cohen from testifying, that’s obstruction of justice,” Napolitano said.

“The president's job is to enforce federal law. If he had ordered its violation to save innocent life or preserve human freedom, he would have a moral defense,” Napolitano later wrote “But ordering obstruction to save himself from the consequences of his own behavior is unlawful, defenseless and condemnable.”

2 yrs ago Judge Nap was suspended for claiming that Pres. Trump was spied on by former Pres. Obama with the help of British intelligence.
Is it just me or was it after he returned that he seemed like he should be a star on CNN?

Imagine how upset the Democrats & the Media must be that the terrible California shooter was stopped by an off duty Border Patrol agent who was exercising his Second Amendment right and was carrying concealed.

The double whammy of everything they hate: the border patrol and 2A!
