From Denise's link. Roger proven wrong again. Ty, Denise.
"FBI director Christopher Wray said in a speech to the Council on Foreign Relations Friday.

Wray described Russian efforts to interfere in the country’s elections as a “significant counterintelligence threat” and said agencies, including the bureau and the Department of Homeland Security (DHS), have taken task forces they established for the midterms and made them permanent, The New York Times reported."

When CNN finally tells the Truth.
By JOEL B. POLLAK 28 Apr 2019

CNN anchor Jake Tapper admitted Friday that President Donald Trump did not refer to neo-Nazis or white supremacists as “very fine people” in his remarks about the Charlottesville, Virginia, riots in 2017."

"Oh the humanity"

CNN finally goes on the record with the truth but look at all the racial tensions they stoked and harm and division they did to America.

FAKE NEWS is the enemy of the people as are people who then propagate it.

New EPA document tells communities to brace for climate change impacts

Brady Dennis April 27 at 4:41 PM
The Environmental Protection Agency published a 150-page document this past week with a straightforward message for coping with the fallout from natural disasters across the country: Start planning for the fact that climate change is going to make these catastrophes worse.

The language, included in guidance on how to address the debris left in the wake of floods, hurricanes and wildfires, is at odds with the rhetoric of the EPA’s own leader, Andrew Wheeler. Just last month, Wheeler said in an interview with CBS that “most of the threats from climate change are 50 to 75 years out.”

Multiple recent studies have identified how climate change is already affecting the United States and the globe. In the western United States, for example, regional temperatures have increased by almost 2 degrees Fahrenheit since the 1970s, and snowmelt is occurring a month earlier in areas, extending the fire season by three months and quintupling the number of large fires. Another scientific paper, co-authored by EPA researchers, found that unless the United States slashes carbon emissions, climate change will probably cost the United States hundreds of billions of dollars annually by 2100.

ADVERTISING

The divergence between Wheeler and his own agency offers the latest example of the often contradictory way that federal climate policy has evolved under President Trump. As the White House has sought to minimize or ignore climate science, government experts have continued to sound the alarm.

The president has said he intends to withdraw the nation from a key international climate accord, but last fall 13 agencies issued a report concluding that “the evidence of human-caused climate change is overwhelming and continues to strengthen, that the impacts of climate change are intensifying across the country, and that climate-related threats to Americans’ physical, social, and economic well-being are rising.”

The White House has repeatedly sought ways to question the broad scientific consensus that human activities are driving climate change, and it is considering creating a federal advisory panel to reexamine those findings. But while the National Security Council is still pursuing the task force proposal, it has encountered resistance from military and intelligence officials as well as the White House Office of Science and Technology Policy.

Let me guess...

We should plan for it to happen in ten years (if we don't do something)?

This doesn't bother you.

Trump went on to falsely characterize what he said an “extreme late abortion” would entail in horrifically graphic—and not to mention misleading—language. “Your Democrat governor here in Wisconsin, shockingly, stated that he will veto legislation that protects Wisconsin babies born alive. Born alive,” Trump said in a disapproving tone. “The baby is born, the mother meets with the doctor, they take care of the baby, they wrap the baby beautifully, and then the doctor and the mother determine whether or not they will execute the baby.” Trump then put on an incredulous tone. “You hear late term, but this is where the baby is born, it’s there, it’s wrapped, that’s it,” Trump said as he made a guillotine motion with his hand, as if he were implying that the baby’s head would be sliced off.

Roger...

I believe that is a mischaracterization of events. They don't actually wrap the baby in a swaddle and then chop off it's head. They are generally just left to die (which could take minutes or even hours) or placed in a plastic bag, sealed and tossed in the crash.

19 states currently have no laws that protect an infant that is born alive after a botched abortion attempt.

So I guess in the grand scheme of things, the idea that we leave an infant to suffer and die, or just toss it in the garbage along with the placenta isn't something that bothers you.

But the President suggesting that they actually slice the head off does?

Mr. Barr chose to wallow in the lowest and most degrading form of political discourse, parroting the hollow expressions of Donald Trump (no collusion, no obstruction), while totally ignoring the proven facts of Robert Mueller’s report, which clearly documented that our so-called president attempted to obstruct justice on at least 10 occasions.

WHAT TRUMP SAID
“The baby is born. The mother meets with the doctor. They take care of the baby. They wrap the baby beautifully. And then the doctor and the mother determine whether or not they will execute the baby.”
President Trump revived on Saturday night what is fast becoming a standard, and inaccurate, refrain about doctors “executing babies.” During a more than hourlong speech at a rally in Green Bay, Wis., Mr. Trump admonished the Democratic governor, Tony Evers, for vetoing a Republican bill that could send doctors to prison for life if they fail to give medical care to children born alive after a failed abortion attempt.

The comments are the latest in a long string of incendiary statements from the president on abortion.

He wrote in January on Twitter that Democrats had become the “Party of late term abortion” when efforts to expand abortion rights in Virginia and New York gained national attention. About a week later, in his State of the Union address, he falsely said New York’s law would allow “a baby to be ripped from the mother’s womb moments before birth.” And in February he responded to the blocking of a federal measure similar to the Wisconsin bill by tweeting that Democrats “don’t mind executing babies AFTER birth.”

The New York Times has previously fact-checked these claims, finding that late-term abortions are rare. In Wisconsin, only 1 percent of all abortions in 2017 occurred after 20 weeks of pregnancy, according to the most recent annual report from the state’s Department of Health Services. The numbers are similarly low at the national level.

In another fact check, The Times found that infants are rarely born alive after abortion procedures:

It hardly ever happens, according to Dr. Daniel Grossman, a professor of obstetrics, gynecology and reproductive sciences at the University of California, San Francisco. He performs abortions and is a spokesman for the American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists, where he leads a committee on health care for underserved women. Infants are hardly ever born alive after attempted abortions, though there are rare cases where an infant survives a premature birth but cannot survive without extreme attempts at resuscitation.
Moreover, The Times reported, doctors do not kill the infants who survive, although families may choose not to take extreme measures to resuscitate them:

Okay Denny...

I guess if a baby just gets thrown in the trash "hardly ever" then there is no need to get upset about it. I mean, what is a couple or few or handful or some babies being locked in a baggie and tossed aside.

Oh, and just for clarification. Allowing the baby to die (rather than attempt to save the child) arguably goes against the Doctor's Hippocratic oath. So it's basically the same thing as "killing" them.
