Double dog dare?

I think "most people" keeping their head on straight understand the inherent political problems with attempting to "impeach" the President over the Mueller report. The main issue here is that once the dust settles, people allow everything to sink in, the most important and uniformly accepted fact is that Mueller's report showed no evidence that any American (much less Trump or his associates) conspired or coordinated with the Russians.

When people look back on this whole fiasco, the process crime aspect is going to be a mere footnote in the grand scheme of things. Once we have the Inspector General report showing exactly to what degree our law enforcement bent the rules (and possibly the laws) to start and prod this hoax along, thing may even look dimmer for those calling for Trump's head. By the time this whole thing shakes out, it will very likely show a picture of Donald Trump being unfairly, unethically, and possibly illegally targeted in a bogus investigation by corrupt agents with a political ax to grind.

An attempt to impeach the President over such a blatant and obviously political issue will simply be adding salt to that particular wound, and make Democrats look even more partisan and petty. This was a petty hoax of an investigation that engulfed our country and undermined our President.

Impeachment? How about an apology?

that was no innocent mistake. that was an intentional insult.

btw, have you seen this -

By the time Task Force Ranger had been launched, Aidid's network of drug-addled, Khat-dealing gun runners had taken over Mogadishu and were doing everything they could to oppress any and rival clans, including that of Omar, the Majeerteen. In other words, we were sent halfway across the world to help protect people just like Omar and her family. Nineteen incredible men gave their lives defending her country while serving ours. They deserve to be lauded for their service, not attacked for it.
I am thankful Omar and her family and countless others were able to escape to neighboring Kenya while we fought to protect those left behind, but I simply cannot comprehend her attitude towards those of us who fought to protect her country and countrymen from warlords who plunged Somalia only further into violence and starvation. I am glad that Omar can now enjoy the very freedoms we fought to protect, like the freedom of speech and the free exercise of religion affirmed in the U.S. Constitution, but I don't understand why she uses those freedoms to slur the men and women of the U.S. military who made her security and liberty a reality.

The simple truth is that Omar enjoys the fruits of American combat deaths, yet she can't even bring herself to acknowledge the ultimate sacrifice that was made on her behalf, either as a Somali or an American. Her clan didn't stand a chance against Aidid and Habar Gidirs, so I don't blame her for leaving. But I do blame her for attacking those of us who had zero personal interest or investment in her nation for doing our jobs on behalf of our country. And I blame her for smearing American servicemen because we answered the call of our nation to address the violent barbarism of hers.

Let’s start at the end of this story. This weekend, I read Special Counsel Robert Mueller’s report twice, and realized that enough was enough—I needed to do something. I’ve worked on every Republican presidential transition team for the past 10 years and recently served as counsel to the Republican-led House Financial Services Committee. My permanent job is as a law professor at the George Mason University Antonin Scalia Law School, which is not political, but where my colleagues have held many prime spots in Republican administrations.

The Founders knew that impeachment would be, in part, a political exercise. They decided that the legislative branch would operate as the best check on the president by channeling the people’s will. Congress has an opportunity to shape that public sentiment with the hearings ahead. As sentiments shift, more and more Republicans in Congress will feel emboldened to stand up to the president. The nation has been through this drama before, with more than a year of hearings in the Richard Nixon scandal, which ultimately forced his resignation.

Republicans who stand up to Trump today may face some friendly fire. Today’s Republican electorate seems spellbound by the sound bites of Twitter and cable news, for which Trump is a born wizard. Yet, in time, we can help rebuild the Republican Party, enabling it to rise from the ashes of the post-Trump apocalypse into a party with renewed commitment to principles of liberty, opportunity, and the rule of law.

The more we learn about how this investigation started and the motivations behind the people who started it the less likely there will be the political will to impeach Trump.

In fact, the only president in legal jeopardy right now may be Barack Obama. Hillary Clinton is certainly in jeopardy as well.

Poor Roger, this thing might not turn out the way he envisioned it.

Pelosi is a lot smarter than Graham and the rest of you puppets.

Stopping short of calling for immediate impeachment proceedings, Hillary Clinton Tuesday said special counsel Robert Mueller's report is only the beginning of a reckoning on election meddling. (April 23)
AP, AP
WASHINGTON – House Speaker Nancy Pelosi slapped down talks of starting impeachment proceedings against President Donald Trump, saying Tuesday that "we're not there yet."

Her comments at the 2019 TIME 100 Summit followed days of discussions over whether the results of special counsel Robert Mueller's investigation merit the president being ousted from office.

"I do believe that impeachment is one of the most divisive forces, paths that we could go down to in our country, but if the facts, the path of fact-finding takes us there, we have no choice — but we're not there yet," Pelosi said.

She said she didn't believe there was a "big division" within the Democratic caucus about this issue but noted that there are a number of members who believe that Trump's conduct outlined in the Mueller report was criminal and should lead to impeachment proceedings.

Throughout her interview, Pelosi noted a recent poll that found Trump's approval rating in the 30s but also found that less than half the country approved of impeaching him. She stressed that impeachment—if warranted—should be something that American people want.

"We shouldn't impeach for a political reason. We shouldn't not impeach for a political reason," Pelosi said.

Impeachment hearings would still be underway into election season next year.

He has objected justice, but we know that it would be disruptive during the election.

Impeach the MotherFucker .

He has objected justice.

Well he was not charged with obstruction of justice and the special prosecutor could not build a coherent case that he indeed obstructed justice.

Therefore, you cannot say in good conscience and logic that he obstructed justice.

But go ahead and say he objected to justice. That's neither an illegal or impeachable offense.

Hate to even think of the L word but the way the Democrats are going it is getting harder and harder to avoid.

Democrats' sudden radical turn is best explained by their desperation for survival in the Era of Trump. What they are really doing with their open borders, "free" college & prison reform is scraping up votes -- even if from incarcerated terrorists, illegal aliens & 16-year-olds

He was not exonerate. The Mueller team clearly stated that the President could not be indicted.

Is Sergey Kislyak Central to the Set-Up of Michael Flynn?

Sergey Kislyak is mentioned 211 times in the Mueller Report. Not a coincidence. Also, why didn’t Mueller interview Kislyak since he’s such a central figure in Russian meddling efforts?

not really, but i'm not surprised that YOU think so. especially after she says something as completely fucktarded as this:

"We shouldn't impeach for a political reason. We shouldn't not impeach for a political reason," Pelosi said.

but in the case of trump, the ONLY reason you can come up with IS inherently political. in fact, all of your opposition to trump has been based on politics and nothing else.

so no alky. she's not at all that bright. in fact, she has a fucking mini-stroke every time she opens her wrinkled pie hole.

she's a vapid intellectual clod like you alky. the very fact that you think she's not speaks volumes.

He could have been referred to in the report as an un-indicted co-conspirator but he wasn't.

As far as the "Not being able to exonerate" line? That was Mueller being bitchy because he doesn't like Trump. It was inappropriate and unethical. If I were his true boss instead of a friend I would have insist it be removed.

Your friends are going down Roger. Starting with the old hag in New York.

BWAAAAAAAAAA!!!!
