So yeah these golden shower hooker allegations could be a secret... or not.

It's up to you Mr President!

I am curious as to why this was never considered. Is it because James Comey is just such an honorable man that nobody would ever think it possible. But it's not like he brought forward an of the important stuff from the dossier. Only the embarrassing stuff that Trump might not want released.

The meeting is a matter of public knowledge. Neither Trump or Comey dispute the subject of the meeting. The only question is whether or not it's true that people in the FBI believed it could be conceived as a threat.

More than $60 million of American taxpayer money intended to help struggling U.S. farmers has instead been funneled to two corrupt Brazilian brothers, according to the New York Daily News.

As part of the $12 billion bailout for American farmers getting crushed by Donald Trump's trade war, the U.S. Department of Agriculture contracted to buy $22.3 million in pork products from JBS USA, a Colorado-based subsidiary of Brazil’s JBS SA, the largest meatpacker in the world. That contract got attention for obvious reasons, and then the Daily News obtained two more purchase orders from JBS of $14.5 million in February and $25.6 million in early May, bringing the total bailout funding for the meatpacking behemoth to $62.4 million.

On top of it all, the two brothers who own JBS, Joesley and Wesley Batista, have done jail time for bribing hundreds of Brazilian officials as part of an extensive corruption scheme. The brothers are also under investigation by the U.S. Justice Department for potentially violating the Foreign Corrupt Practices Act.

But apparently, the Batistas now qualify as two of "Our great Patriot Farmers." America first!

Sen. Susan Collins, who voted to confirm Supreme Court Justice Brett Kavanaugh on the basis of his assurance that he would follow judicial precedent on abortion law, is confident he will keep his word.

Asked Thursday whether she believed that Kavanaugh would join the liberal bloc on the court to strike down Alabama’s new law effectively banning abortion altogether, Collins said she was sure he would be guided by the high court’s traditional deference to precedents such as the 1973 ruling in Roe v. Wade.

“The Alabama law is a terrible law. It’s very extreme. it essentially bans all abortions. I can’t imagine that any justice could find that to be consistent with the previous precedents,” Collins told reporters on Capitol Hill, according to a tweet by CNN correspondent Manu Raju.

Trump Blows Up Foreign Policymaking
May 17, 2019 at 8:06 am EDT
Susan Glasser: “We may still be guessing about Trump, but one thing this week’s Iran-war scare has shown is the extent to which the Trump Presidency has blown up the old way of American foreign policymaking, which makes the risk of a miscalculation higher than ever.

“Consider the damage done to the alliance between the United States and its traditional partners in Europe, who remain outraged about Trump’s decision to pull out of the Iran deal they negotiated with the United States and are deeply skeptical of his latest moves. Not only is Europe not inclined to offer a helping hand, but even the old habits and inclinations to consult with each other before major foreign-policy moves have been all but abandoned—an with them, of course, another constraint on the Trump Presidency.”

“The removal of constraints on Trump, domestically and internationally, is what is so striking at this moment when we are all trying to figure out what’s actually happening with American policy in the Middle East. Trump has already shown himself to be unbound by old fears of abandoning political norms… He doesn’t worry about cozying up to dictators or flip-flopping on core principles. He doesn’t care about creating international coalitions or whether his actions are consistent. And with all the turnover on his staff, a normal decision-making process on national-security matters seems to have been abandoned, too.

“Instead, amazingly enough, we are now at a moment in the Trump Presidency when the capricious President himself is being touted as the possible constraint on his hawkish advisers like Bolton.”

The biggest difference was that there was not a president in office that conducted the biggest political scandal of all time when he ran, Obama. Trump may be better than Reagan

By the time Reagan ran for his second term he crushed the Dems.

Just like Trump is will do if there is any justice. I can see why the Dems have an objection of justice.

Hate to tell you this, Commensa, but John the Baptizer, Jesus, and the Apostle Paul all said the Kingdom of God would come to the earth in all its fullness in their own generation.

You do not read them literally.

You, however, lie about it by giving it some other interpretation.

The Trump administration on Thursday followed through with its plan to pull more than $900 million in federal funds from California’s beleaguered high-speed rail project.

The U.S. Department of Transportation said California officials “failed to make reasonable progress” and had not met federal requirements for a project beset with cost overruns. But the decision is also consistent with President Trump’s penchant for sparring with leaders of the liberal-leaning state. …

In addition to revoking the federal government’s agreement to contribute $929 million to the project, the administration Thursday said it “continues to consider all options regarding the return of $2.5 billion” in stimulus funds given to the state.

Comey: "I don't know" whether Trump "was with prostitutes peeing on each other"
APRIL 13, 2018 CBS/AP

James Comey said he doesn't know with certainty whether President Trump "was with prostitutes peeing on each other in Moscow in 2013," in an interview with ABC News that will air in full on Sunday. In his new book, Comey recalls a conversation he says he had with Mr. Trump, in which the president asked Comey to look into claims that a so-called "pee tape" existed from 2013 showing him with hookers peeing on each other, one of the more salacious allegations in the unverified dossier authored by former British spy Christopher Steele.

Mr. Trump, according to Comey, wanted Comey to clear up the allegations because he said his wife, Melania Trump, was upset by them. He asked Comey to investigate what Trump called the "golden showers thing."

Comey's new book, "A Higher Loyalty," detailing his time as FBI director, will be officially released Tuesday, but multiple news outlets, including CBS News, have obtained copies of the book.

Comey on a possible Trump "pee tape":
"I honestly never thought these words would come out of my mouth, but I don't know whether the current president of the United States was with prostitutes peeing on each other in Moscow in 2013," Comey told ABC News' George Stephanopoulos. "It's possible, but I don't know."

As of his firing, the information on such a recording was still "unverified," Comey said.

According to the Associated Press, which also obtained the book, Comey said that when he briefed Mr. Trump on the Steele dossier, he left out one detail – the one involving the allegation that the prostitutes had urinated on a bed once used by the Obamas.

The president raised the subject again a week later, after the dossier had been made public, according to the book. Comey wrote in his book Mr. Trump told Comey at that time, that he had not stayed in the hotel and also that the charge could not have been true because, as Mr. Trump said, "I'm a germaphobe. There's no way I would let people pee on each other around me. No way."

"He [Trump]brought up what he called the 'golden showers thing' … adding that it bothered him if there was 'even a one percent chance' his wife, Melania, thought it was true," Comey recalled. Comey suggests the phrase "golden showers thing" was the phrasing Trump used during that conversation.

"He just rolled on, unprompted, explaining why it couldn't possibly be true, ending by saying he was thinking of asking me to investigate the allegation to prove it was a lie," Comey wrote. "I said it was up to him."

Mr. Trump took to Twitter Friday morning in his first public response to the book, calling Comey a "slime ball" and saying he "should be prosecuted."

"His handling of the Crooked Hillary Clinton case, and the events surrounding it, will go down as one of the worst 'botch jobs' of history," the president tweeted. "It was my great honor to fire James Comey!"

Elizabeth Warren Just Transformed the Abortion Debate

Andrew Sullivan: “Elizabeth Warren is not afraid. Today, she set out a proposal to integrate Roe v. Wade’s provisions for access to abortion into federal law. She even framed her proposal this way: Congress Can Protect Choice. And she’s right. Congress can legislate on abortion; the matter can be settled through politics, rather than through a strained parsing of the Constitution by the courts. Political arguments can be made, and countered. Voters can go to the polls to support candidates who will vote for such a law, which will make any previous Supreme Court ruling irrelevant.

“This is the process called politics. And America, for 46 years, has tried to keep abortion out of it. It’s encouraging to see Warren jump into the fray to bring legislative politics back to the subject — and to call the right’s bluff on taking that approach. It’s amazing it has taken this long.

“Every other major democracy treats abortion this way: through the legislative branch hammering out a compromise.”

At the very least it was abuse of power and government tampering in a presidential election. Whether it is criminal and long jail sentences are in the offing is up to AG William Barr.
