Science has shown that the conservative brain has an exaggerated fear response when faced with stimuli that may be perceived as threatening. How about the state effects on the federal tax revenue for things like federal tax credit for itemized state income tax and other things like that?. High state-tax states are not actually paying their fair share of fed expenses and your "study" just ignores..
Is it correct that other major expenses such as Social Security and Medicare are huge and increasing but aren't sent to states and are left out of your "study"? (hint - yes, at least from what they explain)
Another major area of expense is defense of the country, how is this allocated back to states other than their crude explanation of federal payrolls? What state is charged when we fire a missile at someone? Or send a spaceship to Mars or research stem cells? Even fund the postage deficit? Looks like your study is ignoring a real complicated accounting.
What is the actual numerical data showing amounts accounted for rather than saying it's a "complicated process" so we can even check their numbers and methodology.
Is this "study" (and others) actually worth anything? Or just an attempt for political cover?
