And then there were twelve!

Try as they might... they couldn't hold her back!

Tulsi Gabbard qualifies for the third debate with a new Iowa poll!

Today she is in the news for explaining exactly why Liz Warren is not qualified to be President. Yeah, last time she went after someone in a debate it was Kamala Harris, and Harris has yet to recover. We'll see who she ends up paired up with, as it now appears to be a two night debate with six on each night.

Meanwhile a new Harvard Harris poll still shows Joe Biden in the lead. But even in this poll, his support dropped four points in the past month (from 32 down to 28). Warren's support is up five (from 12 to 17).  However, national polls won't matter much at this point. Biden will need to do well in Iowa and New Hampshire and probably win one or the other to remain the frontrunner.

The polling for the Democratic nomination has been all over the place. Biden leading by 11 or 12 and then polls showing Warren in the lead. I am not sure this is as much of a deal with one poll or the other being "outliers" as it would be who these pollsters are actually polling.  I suspect the more you drill down into who will actually show up to caucus or vote in a primary, you will see a much different result than polls that are just polling Democrats in general.

Hearing on Whistleblower Report Possible Next Week
September 27, 2019 at 1:37 pm EDT

House Intelligence Committee chairman Adam Schiff is eyeing a hearing on the whistleblower complaint next Friday, Politico reports.

“The precise details of that hearing — including whether it will be public — depends on whether the committee can schedule an interview with the whistleblower, and if it obtains the full inspector general’s report on the whistleblower’s complaint.”

Trump Loses Control of the Story

Margaret Sullivan: “Donald Trump’s presidency would have been impossible without his reality-TV fame from NBC’s The Apprentice. And he is skilled at dominating the visual medium that still matters so much — even in our digital age — from his raucous rallies to his impromptu media gaggles outside a whirring helicopter to his symbiotic relationship with Fox News.

“But not this week.

“In a tectonic shift of media attention, every major television network — broadcast and cable alike — focused on a deeply damaging story that Trump can’t control.”

Nevermind she is a empty Skirt.

"Democratic presidential candidate Tulsi Gabbard on Friday threw her weight behind House Speaker Nancy Pelosi's Trump impeachment inquiry, reversing her opposition..."

Well James...
That's not an answer.
The law doesn't allow for someone to be granted status as a whistle blower just because they are upfront and provide a concern.
The law requires them to have first hand information of something happening in their own company. This particular complaint did not offer either?
So again... Why do you believe that the IG simply didn't follow the law?
Are you arguing that he doesn't have to?

Your answer does not hold up to what I just linked above, Ch.
So solly.

The numerous people who told the whistleblower about their deep concern and worry about something they had firsthand knowledge of, to wit, the President's breaking of the law in his conversation with an official of a foreign government--those numerous expressions of concern happened in the whitleblowr's own company, Ch. He never said or claimed otherwise. So now those people must be questioned, must they not?

Trump Meets With NRA on Impeachment Defense
September 27, 2019 at 5:27 pm EDT

“President Trump met on Friday with Wayne LaPierre, the chief executive of the National Rifle Association, to discuss how the NRA could provide financial support for the president’s defense as he faces political headwinds, including impeachment,” the New York Times reports.

“It was not clear whether Mr. Trump asked Mr. LaPierre for his support, or if the idea was pitched by the NRA. But in return for the support, Mr. LaPierre asked that the White House ‘stop the games’ over gun control legislation.”

QUID PRO QUO.

WE don't consider the killing of our children a game over gun control, Mr. LaPierre.

Intel Community Secretly Gutted Requirement Of First-Hand Whistleblower Knowledge
Federal records show that the intelligence community secretly revised the formal whistleblower complaint form in August 2019 to eliminate the requirement of direct, first-hand knowledge of wrongdoing.

BREAKING: The intelligence community secretly eliminated a requirement that whistleblower complaints contain only direct, first-hand knowledge of wrongdoing allegations.

A new version of the complaint form allowing hearsay was secretly revised last month.

When asked via phone when the secret revisions were made and why the requirement for first-hand whistleblower knowledge was eliminated, an intelligence community spokeswoman said they would not comment on any questions about the secret evidence revisions.

That's kind of an important detail don't you think?
