Opps! A little trouble in liberal paradise?

It's only going to get worse as Americans get to know the Democratic Candidates!

Democrats have been warning um... themselves for some time that they are pushing unpopular policies and pulling their collective Party off into the deep end of the liberal left pool. The Green New Deal, spending trillions on universal healthcare, and putting "the Squad" front and center are very popular, if you are 20 something and hopelessly stupid and liberal. But to normal every day working Americans, these things sound as crazy as they actually are.

The worst part about it for the Democrats is that their dipwad group of so called candidates will continue to push things further and further looking for that edge with the hardcore Democrats who will dominate the caucus and primary season. It will be nearly impossible for someone like Biden to win a "majority" of the delegates running down the middle. This is why betting odds now show Warren slightly ahead of Biden (with Biden on the drop) even as polls continue to show Biden with a reasonable lead.

Not running through a primary season and not having to debate will actually be a big advantage for Trump. Nobody takes his challengers seriously and he won't have to change anything to win his nomination. In fact, his plan moving forward should be to consolidate conservatives while branching out into the middle.

Oops....lots of trouble for trumps re election prospects as small business optimism falls like trumps approval ratings!!!! Anyone see the connection of his sub 40% approval with the day fight about the weather he was wrong about?????

Data from the NFIB, America's largest small business association, showed that Main Street businesses are feeling the heat from Donald Trump's trade war with China.
Business optimism missed expectations, slipping 1.6 points to a five-month low of 103.1.
"Fewer owners said they expect better business conditions and real sales volumes in the coming months," NFIB said.
Uncertainty also grew in August, as Pantheon Macroeconomics said there had been a "downshift in business investment."

America's small businesses are starting to feel the heat from Trump's trade war, as new data on Tuesday revealed that business optimism hit a five-month low in August.

Data from the National Federation of Independent Business (NFIB), a lobbying group, showed that business optimism among smaller businesses fell to 103.1 — a 1.6 point fall, signaling worries on Main Street.

Pantheon Macroeconomics said in an email that the main optimism figure was "dragged down by declines in expectations for the economy and business sales." Both measures fell significantly, by eight points and five points respectively, Pantheon said.

Six in 10 Americans expect a recession and higher prices as Trump’s approval rating slips, Washington Post-ABC News poll finds

President Trump is ending a tumultuous summer with his approval rating slipping back from a July high as Americans express widespread concern about the trade war with China and a majority of voters now expect a recession within the next year, according to a new Washington Post-ABC News poll.
The survey highlights how one of Trump’s central arguments for reelection — the strong U.S. economy — is beginning to show signs of potential turmoil as voters express fears that the escalating trade dispute with China will end up raising the price of goods for U.S. consumers.
The poll also shows a schism between Americans’ continued positive ratings of the economy and fears of a downturn, with far more saying Trump’s policies have increased chances of a recession than decreased it.
Trump’s approval rating among voting-age Americans stands at 38 percent, down from 44 percent in early July but similar to 39 percent in April, with 56 percent now saying they disapprove of his performance in office. Among registered voters, 40 percent say they approve of Trump, while 55 percent disapprove.

Donald Trump is the betting favorite (-110) to win the 2020 presidential election in the latest odds available to Odds Shark.
While he most certainly has his detractors both inside and outside of the United States, Trump is concurrently the beneficiary of a Democratic party that appears to, once again, not have an overly strong presidential candidate in place.
No matter which side of that debate you fall on, one thing is clear, Trump remains the betting favorite for the 2020 election, a place he’s held ever since odds were first released more than a year ago at Bovada.

WASHINGTON — The Secretary of Commerce threatened to fire top employees at the federal scientific agency responsible for weather forecasts last Friday after the agency’s Birmingham office contradicted President Trump’s claim that Hurricane Dorian might hit Alabama, according to three people familiar with the discussion.

That threat led to an unusual, unsigned statement later that Friday by the agency, the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration, disavowing the National Weather Service’s position that Alabama was not at risk. The reversal caused widespread anger within the agency and drew accusations from the scientific community that the National Weather Service, which is part of NOAA, had been bent to political purposes.

NOAA’s statement on Friday is now being examined by the Commerce Department’s Office of Inspector General, according to documents reviewed by The New York Times, and employees have been asked to preserve their files. NOAA is a division of the Commerce Department.

"Job openings in the manufacturing sector rose in July to the highest level on record.

Manufacturing job openings jumped to 522,000 from 515,000 in the prior month, the Department of Labor said Tuesday in its monthly Job Openings and Labor Turnover Summary. A year ago, manufacturing businesses had 488,000 openings."

Never Forgive or Forget

"American girls and American guys
We'll always stand up and salute
We'll always recognize
When we see Old Glory flying
There's a lot of men dead
So we can sleep in peace at night when we lay down our head

My daddy served in the army
Where he lost his right eye but he flew a flag out in our yard
Until the day that he died
He wanted my mother, my brother, my sister and me
To grow up and live happy
In the land of the free

Now this nation that I love has fallen under attack
A mighty sucker punch came flyin' in from somewhere in the back
Soon as we could see clearly
Through our big black eye
Man, we lit up your world
Like the fourth of July

Hey Uncle Sam, put your name at the top of his list
And the Statue of Liberty started shakin' her fist
And the eagle will fly man, it's gonna be hell
When you hear mother freedom start ringin' her bell
And it feels like the whole wide world is raining down on you
Brought to you courtesy of the red white and blue

Justice will be served and the battle will rage
This big dog will fight when you rattle his cage
And you'll be sorry that you messed with
The U.S. of A.
'Cause we'll put a boot in your ass
It's the American way

Hey uncle sam put your name at the top of his list
And the Statue of Liberty started shakin' her fist
And the eagle will fly it's gonna be hell
When you hear mother freedom start ringin' her bell
And it feels like the whole wide world is raining down on you
Brought to you courtesy of the red white and blue

Oh oh of the red white and blue
Oh oh of my red white and blue"

Two former officials with the Federal Emergency Management Agency were arrested on charges of bribery and fraud following a federal corruption investigation in Puerto Rico after Hurricane Maria devastated the island in 2017.

The former president of Cobra Acquisitions, a company that secured $1.8 billion in federal contracts to repair Puerto Rico's destroyed power grid, was also arrested by the FBI, federal prosecutors said Tuesday.
An indictment returned by a federal grand jury includes 15 charges against Ahsha Tribble and Jovanda Patterson, who were former FEMA officials, and Donald Keith Ellison, who was president of Cobra Acquisitions up until June.
