Funny thing. I read something about a "bombshell" from Ambassador Taylor, with the implication it was previously unknown and specifically damaging. I found this odd, considering Taylor had just testified just a few days ago, and what could have possibly happened since then?
Well it turned out that the big bombshell was his testimony about claiming to overhear part of a telephone conversation, which he admitted was murky, but got clarification about what it probably meant from another person. So, you know... something like double hearsay with a touch of mind reading.
Moreover... it actually wasn't anything new. I had heard about the overheard telephone conversation on multiple occasions prior to yesterday. I have to wonder if this was some sort of coordinated effort from "The Hill", "Politico", and others to manufacture something new that could be deemed to be a "bombshell". Since this particular news was hardly a bombshell and hardly new, but yet the same media players suggested it was and it was.

So both witnesses admit that they had no contact with Trump. Their entire testimony is what they heard from someone else.

The fact of the matter is that these people all ultimately answer to the President (whether that President is a Democrat or a Republican). They are not allowed to decide on their own if that President is correct or incorrect and decide to "undermine" that President's policy.
