Hard to determine what to do with the others involved
When violence in sports goes a bit too farhttps://t.co/qs4BBaPIOl— C.H. Truth (@C_H_Truth) November 15, 2019
This is one of those times where you sort of have to defend the Steelers who came in at the end to protect their quarterback and sort of did a number on Garrett. I mean, given the emotional nature of these sorts of rivalry games and the extent that Garrett was simply out of control I have to give a bit of slack to the player who went a bit crazy.
But there is no excuse for what Garrett did. He seemed to hit Rudolf late and followed through with an aggressive tackle. Probably figured he didn't have much to lose even the late time of the game and the two touchdown lead. But then after Rudolf seemed to take a little issue with being held down Garrett reached down, grabbed the helmet until it came off and then swung it at Rudolf's head.
There is talk about a season ending suspension. I don't think that is too extreme.

That was ugly....
very , gone for ever, and criminally charged.
cancel his contract, throw him out of the NFL, ban him from ALL professional sports for life, and prosecute his ass.
when he gets out of prison he can go back to drug dealing and drive-by shootings to support himself.
