The same day that the Horowitz report is released?
It seems odd that after Pelosi decided to announce that House Democrats were following through on articles of impeachment, than Jerry Nadler would schedule another round of hearings to take place today. It makes political sense when you consider that the design "might be" just an attempt to take away some of the attention from the IG report.
The funny thing is that I am not even really understanding exactly what sort of hearing is being scheduled today or what exactly is going to happen or who might be witnesses. Strong case for watching the impeachment hearing, huh? Not sure it's even on any television?

Socialist Democrats stated they will Continue to do what ever this is even after the Senate Clears Trump, AND
Trumps wins in 2020 .
It's seems to me to be another round of majority counsel taking gratuitous insults at Donald Trump.
Don't see how this will convince anyone who hasn't been convinces since November 6, 2016.
Exactly Right CS.
They started thier impeachment stuff, right after the Vote , remember all the Press lead support of those of us that Voted for Trump.
Unlike Burke, minority counsel Castor is laying out the facts of the case and in doing so is quietly taking a logical sledgehammer to the Democrats case for impeachment.
Trump ignored Barr's warnings about Giuliani because he loved his TV appearances

Attorney General William Barr has reportedly warned President Donald Trump that his attorney, Rudy Giuliani, is becoming a liability, sources told The Washington Post.
Giuliani's role in seeking announcements from Ukraine about two criminal investigations that Democrats allege would have benefitted the president politically is one of the chief focuses of the House impeachment probe.
Giuliani has denied any claims of wrongdoing in either his work in his efforts to secure the Ukraine investigations, claiming he was simply acting in defense of his client, Trump.
Attorney General William Barr became so concerned about Rudy Giuliani's actions that he warned President Donald Trump that his personal attorney was becoming a liability, three people familiar with the conversations told The Washington Post.
Giuliani's role in seeking investigations from Ukraine that Democrats say were part of a plot to aid Trump's bid for reelection in 2020 has become one of the chief focuses of the House impeachment inquiry.
The claims Giuliani was probing — that Ukraine meddled in the 2016 election and pinned the blame on Russia, and that Joe Biden corruptly sought to quash an investigation into an energy firm where his son worked — have been roundly discredited.
But Giuliani's actions reportedly attracted the concern of Barr, who sources told the Post "counseled Trump in general terms that Giuliani has become a liability and a problem for the administration."
According to the sources, Barr told Trump that he believed his personal attorney was not serving him well — but the president resisted the advice because he admires Giuliani's combative defenses of him in media appearances.
Giuliani's attorney, Robert Costello, did not immediately respond to a request for comment from Business Insider on the report.
White House officials have, the Post reported, become concerned about Giuliani's entanglements with foreign clients, with the former New Yorker mayor currently under investigation from federal prosecutors in New York over possible violations of foreign lobbying laws.
The probe was launched after two Soviet-born businessmen and Giuliani associates, Lev Parnas and Igor Fruman, were arrested in on charges of illegally channeling foreign money into Republican campaigns. Both men deny the charges.
Giuliani has denied any wrongdoing. He claims that in seeking the investigations in Ukraine he was simply acting in his role as President Trump's attorney.
As the impeachment inquiry intensifies some Republicans have sought to portray Giuliani as a rogue actor in Ukraine, acting without the president's approval as he sought to pressure Ukraine to announce the investigations. Giuliani has told media outlets that he has "insurance" should the president choose to abandon him, subsequently claiming he was joking.
Trump has so far stood by his attorney, ignoring the advice of top officials such as Barr, describing him as a "great crime fighter" in recent remarks to reporters.
WHAT A FARCE!

7 Outright Falsehoods In the GOP Impeachment Report

Just Security:
“Not everything in the report is a lie. In many instances, it is clear that, where possible, there was great care taken to avoid outright mistruths, through the careful phrasing of arguments to suggest a more sweeping defense than is actually offered, or through focusing on irrelevant and ambiguous witness testimony while ignoring direct and clear testimony to the contrary.
“But staying within the bounds of the factual record – or even within the bounds of reasonable subjective interpretation of the record – could only get House Republican staff so far, and much of the report doesn’t just dance around the truth so much as it strides into deliberate falsehood. In order to depict the events at the heart of the Trump-Ukraine impeachment inquiry in a light that could at all be construed as a defense of President Trump’s conduct, it appears that some outright lies were needed.”
Of course none of you will take the time to read all this, but it is more than convincing:

James why do you keep pushing this intellectually lazy, dishonest nonsense. It's just tiresome.

I wondered if he was rrb on cheap beer!
A man interrupted Monday’s impeachment hearing moments after House Judiciary Chairman Jerry Nadler gaveled it into session.
The man, identified as InfoWars host Owen Shroyer, was led out of the room immediately by Capitol police, shouting that Nadler and House Democrats were committing treason by conducting the constitutional process.
“Donald Trump is innocent,” he yelled as the hearing began, and Capitol police quickly apprehended him.
“We voted for Donald Trump,” Shroyer shouted as he was led away, “and they’re simply removing him because they don’t like him. We’re sick of you impeachment saga, we’re sick of Democrat treason.”

Protestor disrupts impeachment hearing, shouting that Nadler and Dems are committing “treason”
The same day that the Horowitz report is released?
It will blow up your conspiracy theories and the FBI/DOJ assault on the President.
Dumbness
“The evidence is overwhelming that the president abused his power by pressuring Ukraine and its new president to investigate a political opponent,” said Barry Berke, staff attorney for the Judiciary Committee.
“A president cannot abuse his power to secure an election,” Berke said. “That is an impeachable offense.”
I have been watching live alone.

And yet he presented no evidence.
And the Ukraine President said he was not pressured.

The Justice Department Inspector General’s office released its widely anticipated report on the origins of the Russia probe Monday. The report found, in part, that the opening of the investigation into members of President Trump’s 2016 campaign was proper and any political bias on behalf of FBI employees did not influence the launch of the investigation.
The decision to open the probe, which was dubbed “Crossfire Hurricane,” was made in “compliance with Department and FBI policies, and we did not find documentary or testimonial evidence that political bias or improper motivation influenced” the decision to launch the investigation, the report said.
The report also finds, however, that there were “significant inaccuracies and omissions” in the application to surveil former Trump campaign adviser Carter Page, a finding that was surfaced in the media in recent days. At least one low-level FBI lawyer was pushed out of the bureau after it was found that the lawyer might have altered a document related to the court’s approval of the surveillance request. Justice Department Inspector General Michael Horowitz also found there was some information omitted from the FBI’s application to renew its surveillance of Page.
Some key takeaways:
Infamous Christopher Steele dossier didn’t play a role in the launch of the probe
While the widely unverified dossier put together by former British spy Christopher Steele has been used as a boogeyman of the right to propel “deep state” conspiracies about the launch of the Russia probe, the DOJ IG report finds that the dossier — with salacious claims about President Trump and Russia — was not even part of the initial opening of the investigation.
“Although not mentioned in the EC (Electronic Communication), at the time, FBI officials involved in opening the investigation had reason to believe that Russia may have been connected to the Wikileaks disclosures that occurred earlier in July 2016, and were aware of information regarding Russia’s efforts to interfere with the 2016 U.S. elections. These officials, though, did not become aware of Steele’s election reporting until weeks later and we therefore determined that Steele’s reports played no role in the Crossfire Hurricane opening,” the report said.
