Cuomo states that Hydroxychloroquine doesn't help...

But asks the President for more doses to provide to his constituents in the hospital?

It doesn't work, but I want more anyways!

cuomo and his senior advisers have determine that death is safer than Hydroxychloroquine.

and he should know.

he's killing the aged in NY's nursing homes like it's his fucking job.

they don't call nursing homes God's waiting room for nothing.

little mussolini just happened to take that literally.

well whattaya know -

(CNN)Nearly all coronavirus patients who needed ventilators in New York's largest health system to help them breathe died, a study found.

Overall, about 20% of Covid-19 patients treated at Northwell Health died, and 88% of those placed on ventilators died, according to the study. A ventilator is a device that forces air into the lungs of patients who cannot breathe on their own because of severe pneumonia or acute respiratory distress syndrome.
Other, smaller reports have indicated that patients who need ventilation are unlikely to survive.

https://www.cnn.com/2020/04/22/health/coronavirus-ventilator-patients-die/index.html

so let's see if i follow....

little mussolini told us a month ago that if he didn't get THIRTY THOUSAND ventilators, THIRTY THOUSAND people were going to die.

as it turns out... virtually every single person placed on a ventilator DIED ANYWAY.

so how much longer are we going to allow this fucking asshole to keep his boot on our neck?

what say you, pederast?

this whole thing is starting to look like the biggest con pulled on the American people since 0linsky was elected.

I actually heard someone say that with the Covid-19 virus it may turn out that ventilators may actually do more harm than good. Something to do with how it had effected the lungs and how sensitive they were and easily damaged. Wouldn't surprise me that something like that turns out true.

He was only off by 99 million."

Voters: Virus briefings show 'bias and disrespect' of Trump by media

The gap was wider for those who watch the daily coronavirus task force briefings.

“Among all voters, 56% regularly watch President Trump's coronavirus task force briefings," the polling company said. "Among these voters who regularly watch the briefings, 59% to 37% they say that the media is unfair, biased, and disrespectful. While those who do not regularly watch the briefings only 34% say the media is unfair and 51% say that they are fair. The briefings are showing the bias and disrespect of members of the media towards the president.”

That's 6 in 10 people who regularly watch the media in action.

Trump’s Disinfectant Remarks Shocked Aides

NBC News:
“As Trump went off script to suggest people with the virus could be cured by UV rays or disinfectants ‘by injection inside,’ White House officials began texting one another to ask where he got that idea because they thought, as one adviser put it, ‘this was going to be bad.'

“None of them seemed to know, as Trump did not consult with any task force members or administration officials before making his impromptu statement."
____________

CNN:
“A Trump adviser working with the task force admitted to feeling an immediate visceral reaction to Trump’s comments suggesting people could inject themselves with sunlight and disinfectants as a cure for the virus.”

Said the adviser:
“I wanted to hide. It was a tough moment to watch.”

Trump Will Cut Back Daily Briefings

“President Trump plans to pare back his coronavirus press conferences,” Axios reports.

“As soon as next week, he may stop appearing daily and make shorter appearances when he does.

“A number of Trump’s most trusted advisers — both inside and outside the White House — have urged him to stop doing marathon televised briefings. They’ve told him he’s overexposed and these appearances are part of the reason polls aren’t looking good for him right now against Joe Biden.”

White House Mulls Virus ‘Liability Shield’ for Firms

“White House officials are hotly debating whether and how to propose a ‘liability shield’ that would prevent businesses from being sued by customers who contract the coronavirus, as the administration seeks to encourage businesses to reopen without fear of being hit by lawsuits,” the Washington Post reports.

“Attorneys in the White House Counsel’s Office are reviewing the matter, but some administration officials have raised objections to the idea, including whether it would expose the federal government to legal claims… Some White House advisers also have expressed concern that the plan might provoke a political firestorm.”
__________

Now that's an interesting thought.
I go to a restaurant opened against prevailing medical advice, contract the virus, and sue the owner.

Restaurant owners better think this one over...

States Reopen for Business But Big Chains Stay Closed

“As some states lurch toward restarting their economies after coronavirus closures, many big companies remain hesitant to open their doors,” the Wall Street Journal reports.

“Big chains say their phased reopening plans will rely on state and local guidelines, along with infection rates, their own market analysis and consumer surveys. Many large retail locations aren’t profitable if the number of shoppers who can safely enter is restricted to just a handful of people.”

They may also want to start thinking about the possibility of getting sued...

DA Issues Warning Over Drugs Trump Touted
April 24, 2020

“The Food and Drug Administration is warning PATIENTS AND DOCTORS that two malaria drugs touted by President Trump for use against the coronavirus are linked to cardiac dangers and should only be used in hospitalized patients or as part of clinical trials for the virus,” the Wall Street Journal reports.

“The two chemically similar drugs have been used for years against malaria and still may be used for that purpose.

“However, the FDA said it was aware of ‘serious heart problems’ associated with the use of the drugs, hydroxychloroquine and chloroquine, which are being evaluated in clinical studies as to whether they are useful against the coronavirus-caused disease, called Covid-19.”

That's the point, once they are allowed to opened then they should be shielded otherwise they are under permanent lock down.

The owners might want to get a legal opinion on whether they CAN legally be shielded by state law,*
and they might decide they had better not risk opening.
____
*After all, there is even concern as to whether such opening "would expose the federal government to legal claims"!
___________

re 6:21
No ed on "open."
Ed is correct with "shield."

As I have told you before, the infinitive NEVER takes past tense.
To open. To start. To stop. To speak. To run. To say. To hurt. To laugh. To jump. To skip. To talk. etc.

Go to hell.
